Excellent location, great service, great value. Close to New York City. Comparable locations in Manhattan at least twice the price paid at this property. Close to mayor airports, to Interstate 95 and other major gate ways to the Northeast and Mid-atlantic.

As usual, another great Hampton hotel. I was very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel and got a very warm and friendly reception upon checkin. Couldn't be happier. The location is great, and the price was good, especially given the proximity to NYC

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The rooms were clean and quiet (I was on the 1st floor across from the maid service area and the major walk area). Breakfast looked good but I did not eat because of the time. The parking lot has many entrances after getting off the ramp but if you use the entrance at /near the gas station there is no problem entering or exiting the parking lot. The proximity to NY was close and easy to get to the George Washington bridge. I would definite... Read more

Typical Hampton Inn hotel with all amenities as expected. Nothing much to add for those who's every stayed in Hampton Inns. Same breakfast setup, pool, fitness center, coffee in the lobby, etc. Only thing about this place was the location. It's located right at a highway exit with cars merging in right at the entrance. Get's a little dangerous actually. Also hard to get back in from opposite direction.

This property was immaculate, beds were comfortable, breakfast was hearty. It is on a busy street but there was fairly good soundproofing. My only complaint was that housekeeping came into the room and stripped beds before we checked out and our luggage was still in the room.

I have come to expect more than satisfactory services at Hampton Inns - but this one meets and exceeds all reasonable expectations. The room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. There were many outlets for charging, well located on the end tables and the desk. The wide screen HDTV and remote were in perfect working order, the king size bed very comfortable, the bathroom clean and well stocked. The staff made me feel welcome and were helpful in every way. And the location is on Rt 46 just ... Read more

One of the better Hampton inns. Very clean just could use a little more drawer space. Melanie went beyond to help us navigate through a city we have never been to. Took train into city, only 15 min from train station. Overall great trip and hotel.

Good quality for the money. Hampton Inn is best value around. The breakfast is getting to be a little too much of the same thing. Better than having to go out for it though. Tough to get into parking lot. Get past that and location is great.

This particular hotel is located just outsider of NYC and easily reachable Rooms are large,/usual furnitures The bed was perfect. Maybe pillows cold be a bit harder. But you could chose between 2 kinds. Pros: Rather new large rooms, close to NYC Good Staff Some problems The water pressure n the bathroom is as usual very low. WIFI extremely slow. Our stay at this hotel was exceptionally great. The rooms were clean and up to date. the complimentary breakfast was always hot and fresh. Each stay has been exceptionally great. This is not just a one time they are on their "A" Game. Their service to their guests is always their "A" Game. We travel 500 miles to this area to see f... This was a trip to NY we had need planning for years. This hotel helped make it better. It was very relaxing to come back to after longs days of walking through the busy city. It was a little far away but since we had a vehicle it worked great and saved us a lot of money. The staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We are regular Hampton customers all over the country and they are always a cut above. This was no different. A lovely gal at the front desk welcomed us with her east coast friendliness! Just finished our 10 hour drive and this was the perfect spot to lay our heads for one night before heading into Manhattan the next day! It's a super busy parkway but relatively easy to locate and even easier for getting out to the GWB in the morning, after rush hour of course! She gave us choices for food deliv... Read more

Wonderful experience (except for the driveway). Staff was friendly and helpful, hotel was clean, modern and welcoming. Even room facing freeway wasn't too loud. Free breakfast was better quality than similar hotels and we'll stocked until the end. Had some minor issues with room (wifi/showerhead/toilet/shelf in fridge), but nothing major. I promise you that I NEVER complain. It is not in my nature but I wanted to share the frustrations of this visit. First of all, it is almost impossible to turn into the hotel because the entrance is at the end of a highway exit ramp so if you are not on the ramp(which I wasn't) then you have to cross over the exiting traffic to turn in and at night in an unfamiliar place I went back and forth(not an easy feat because it is also a divided highway) several times because I could make the turn. We needed a place to stay while we were in the area for a family gathering, and chose this because I've always had great luck with Hampton Inns and the location was only about 4 miles from the event. Overall, it was the good experience I've come to expect from a Hampton Inn and I would have given 5 stars if the room wasn't uncomfortably hot when we woke up at 5:30am. We loved that you can make your own waffles and toast your own English muffins etc. that way you know it's fresh and hot. We all loved it there. Very reasonably priced. Will definately be back. My son and I stay at the Hampton in Ridgefield Park for one weekend a year, this being the 10th. The staff is friendly, pleasant and responsive with requests handled very quickly. Proximity to NYC and Yankee Stadium is a big plus. My only criticism is the free hot breakfast; selection has diminished over the last few stays with some quality issues. This is a return visit for me and my family. The rooms are great, the pool is fine, the breakfast is okay including the breakfast to go which is a terrific idea. It is very conveniently located, we take our car to the Vince Lombardi Park and Drive and 15 minutes later we are in Manhattan. The staff is most helpful, especially Rachel and Melanie. They have even made a slight improvement in the tricky entrance off Route 46 but its still a little tricky.

We picked this hotel for the main reason of a fitness facility! One treadmill that was out of order. By the way it looked it's been out of.order for a while. Additionally there is no other equipment buy a cycle machine or a elliptical! Horrible. Breakfast was decent and did the trick. Room was clean and had all some one can need. Service could be better. If you are turning into the parking lot in either of the left lanes, be careful. It's an accident waiting to happen. Cleanliness was great. Most of the staff is pleasant. Never been at a bad Hampton Inn. Quiet rooms, comfortable, friendly staff. This hotel has a hard approach from Rt. 46, right at an off-ramp from the NJ Turnpike. You can pull in to the Exxon station next door and cut through the parking lot; that gives you more room to get over. Close to everything.
