This hotel looks nice on the outside. The reception was fine too. The corridor carpet on fourth floor is badly stained, dry wall chipped in some places. The room has unpleasant smell. Kept the fan on, hoping to clear the smell. The fan was very noisy. Could not sleep with the noisy fan on in the room.

The hotel is relaxing and quiet. The shops and restaurant close by are great, especially with a Ruth Chris' in walking distance! The rooms are clean and relatively new and the service at the hotel bar on lobby level is great.

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. Pluses: Good comfortable room and bed. Good restaurant (with healthy options) and good location. Minuses: Coffee shop open for a limited time. When it closes no options for a cup of coffee (except for in-room coffee maker). Some of the staff no considerate. I was sitting on one morning in the lobby with business visitors. The only noise in the lobby was the two front desk ladies (standing next to each other) having a social conversation in a loud voice. Tha... Read more

I checked in anticipating staying three night because I was there for a friend's birthday celebration. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so quiet that I extended my stay another day. The bathroom had a rain shower head which was nice. All of the employees I came in contact with were quite friendly. The NY Times and USA TODAY were available free in the lobby. The hotel is right on Route 1. I will happily return to this hotel next time I am in the area.

Stayed one night while in town for a family function. The Forrestal name threw me a bit as I though the hotel would be in the woods! It's not. It's on route 1 connected to an outside mall or office park or maybe both. Despite misperceptions we enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff is very friendly - later in our stay when we'd see the guy who checked us in, he'd smile and say hello. The hotel itself seems updated with spacious lobby and lots of event space. We had a king room. Very comfortable ... Read more

I booked one night on Starwood points. Since I am just recovering from knee surgery, I selected a double accessible room. I double checked with agent at time of check-in to insure it was a handicapped room and we were assured it was We checked quickly upon entry. They had the ADA tub seat which is compliant. It wasn't until I went to use toilet that I noticed there were no grab bars and there was plenty of room to have them I got the story they had to check with engineering. For heaven sake, th... I'm sitting in the hotel lobby trying to read a newspaper but cannot as there is a group of 4 staff members standing around the check-in desk having a loud social conversation for the last 20 minutes, including loudly discussing issues they've had with other guests. Lobby sounds like a high school hallway. Woke up at 5am last night as room alarm clock was set on by previous guest. Check in at 9pm last night not great, clerk had wrong dates and gave attitude when questioned about it. Told to ... Read more

We stayed for one night in September, got a really good deal on Priceline. Firstly the hotel isn't run by Westin but by a subsidiary as the note suggests at the check in counter. The staff were pleasant but didn't really tell us about the facilities, had to ask about the pool. At check out the staff didn't ask us if our stay was pleasant, but took our key and kept talking to each other. Our room was ok, it faced the courtyard. Since there was a wedding at the hotel, guests were walking all aroun... Read more

I had a very good sleep at this hotel. The mattress was fantastic and the covers were as good as any I have had at the best hotels in Europe. The breakfast coffee tasted good and the meals looked attractive. The fruit place was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the restaurant went out of its way to prepare room service dishes that were not on the regular menu. There were guest from all over and crew teams from major universities staying there while I was there. The only problem I had was tha... Read more
