Our room was spacious, included a mini refrig and coffee maker. Vending machines were convenient, indoor pool was a decent size, first floor guest laundry. Room had only a shower-no tub- and hot breakfast was the usual waffle maker, sausage patties, omelletes. Plenty of parking.

I recently participated in a bike ride with a group of 80 or so members and stayed at the Hampton Inn Princeton on one of the nights. A few of us ended up arriving a bit later than scheduled and so would have missed the complimentary dinner. The staff were made aware of our later arrival and decided to keep dinner going past their scheduled closing time. It meant so much to us as we were exhausted from the miles that we had put behind us that day. I'd also like to mention that the rooms were ver... Read more

Please stay here! I stay in Hampton Inns all over the country, and this is one of my faves ever. All the normal Hampton stuff is there: clean rooms, kind service, etc. The rooms have a unique layout with the spacious bathroom area, and I found the hotel to be extremely quiet. The front desk staff was very courteous and warmly acknowledge my Hhonors status. Here is what sets this Hampton apart: the food. Like Homewood Suites, this Hampton offers not only the best Hampton breakfast I have... Read more

We've been staying at this Hampton a few times a year for over five years, and have always had a great experience. Our most recent stay is indicative of why. We were her for Reunions and Commencement, probably the busiest single week of the year for the hotel. There was a bit of a mix-up up with the type of room we were given, but Pinky fixed it, no problem. Darlene in the breakfast area is always so friendly and helpful, and even helped with an issue we had regarding what our son should wear to... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel on many MANY occassions, one stay was for about 3 months actually. Each time i have stayed there, i have been treated with nothing but respect by the staff who could not do enough to help me and the others in our team who have stayed for business. In fact, we always recommend this hotel to visiting clients when they are in the area doing audits on our work for them. they all report back that the hotel is fine for them too. i would highly recommend this hotel

I made a last minute reservation through the HHonors app. The process went smoothly and my room was great. I was very comfortable in the king size bed. It was the best night sleep I had in a week! The room was spotless and I enjoyed the complimentary dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The experience was very surprising to me because I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. I would definitely go again.

I thought this was a great stay for the price. Excellent staff and service. The beds were a bit hard, I had to use several pillows to sleep comfortably and I didn't like that the bathroom and sink were separate, I had to open the door to wash my hands and I thought that was very unsanitary. But despite that the hotel was clean, quiet, and the food was great!

This Hampton Inn appears to be primarily a business travel hotel. But with the facilities and layout it was also well suited for vacation or family traveler. The hotel staff and facilities team did a great job of handling a number of sports teams in for rowing, soccer and other athletic competitions over the weekend. The entry and exit to the hotel from US 1 is a bit difficult especially from the north bound side as the "jug" handle is not very well configured.

No pets with us, but noticed it was dog friendly. Bathroom and shower were not well cleaned. Road noise was only manageable with the air conditioner running. Room did not smell. Frig and microwave were appreciated. Lots of choices in this area, will look for other options on return.

This hotel is the most pleasing Hampton Inn in which we have ever stayed. The physical condition of the buildings and pool was excellent, the breakfast delicious, the availability of rooms with two king-sized beds wonderful and the serving of a light dinner on week nights most convenient. When we have visited Princeton in the past, we have stayed at B & B's. While we enjoy them, we found the Hampton to be more reasonable in price during the summer than the B & B's. Expected more from this hotel, rooms are very dated which explains why most of the rooms were empty and being repainted but the rooms need new decor, not just new paint. Very old sofa lounge chair inside room, felt uncomfortable to sit on it, another save for the hotel was the direct TV.

We arrived in the evening and wanted to find something good to eat. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and gave us a map and directions to town. The college town itself was very nice with lots of classy-looking restaurants and of course, lots of young people around. Parking in Princeton was not easy. We enjoyed th... Read more

This hotel is wonderful! We were allowed to bring our dog and they treated very well. Also, Full hot breakfast and dinner each day. The food was made fresh daily and it was all delicious. During dinner they offer wine and beer for those who drink. The staff was simply amazing. I would stay there again!

Excellent location, but also excellent amenities and service. Great place to stay on a business trip. Hotel provides a complete hot breakfast buffet, plus a complimentary dinner buffet during the week. Also provides a shuttle service for trips within the area. Stayed overnight while visiting friends and was impressed with the place.

although it looks modest on arrival this is a very comfortable and relaxing hotel, with friendly management and staff. The rooms have everything that you would need and are spacious. Breakfast buffet is good although it lacked crispy bacon! wifi works well and this is a good business hotel. Well located for the beautiful town of Princeton although you need a car to get around. They even had BBC on one of their TV channels, amongst many others Came here with a group and the service was excellent

All good except remember to make reservations directly with the hotel in order to get HH points. Using Expedia knocks out the HH point option. When I had trouble with the online reservation process, I went to Expedia not knowing about how that changes the HH point situation. Once I had the reservation it was smooth, and our stay was just fine.

We seemed to have treated differently because we booked through a third party - this should not be the excuse of the front desk, which it was for a sub-par room. We booked through Expedia and gave careful instructions to them not to put us in a handicap accessible room - we were very specific and when we arrived they ignored our request. They actually said that it was because we booked through a third party.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the university. It's in a very convenient location. The breakfast was very good, as I've come to expect from the Hampton Inn. The even had snacks out at night, which was a bonus.

Off to Princeton to visit our Sophomore. We booked a room for 5 at the Hampton Inn Princeton because it was a great price. After navigating the bizarre U-turns on art 1, we made it to the hotel. Thankfully we took advantage of the digital check in. I got to the desk and grabbed our keys and we were in our room within 10 minutes. We'd booked a King w/ a Murphy bed and walked in to find 2 queens and a roll-away bed which actually worked out better for us. The beds were 'hotel queens' = home ... Read more

This is by far the best Hampton Inn I ever stayed in and possibly one of the top five hotels I ever stayed in. When I arrived late on a Monday night, I was warmly greeted. The room they gave me was excellent. The bed had a firm mattress, and I love a firm mattress. The one negative was the pillows sucked. There were four or five of them, and all of them were far too soft. Each pillow was like a nearly deflated beach ball. I had to stack all of them together to get comfortable. The room h... Read more

As a corporate business traveler, I did not have much choice in booking a hotel for my trip. I lucked out with The Hampton Inn Princeton. Although it was rated two stars, the experience was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, check in and checkout easy, and the entire staff helpful and pleasant. The included breakfast was good with hot and cold options, with a grab and go option for people who can't stay for the sit down breakfast. There is a local shuttle too, th... Read more

Don't often give an excellent, but this hotel was excellent in everything. The staff, the grounds, the room, the bathroom, the evening food, the breakfast, the wifi - wow everything worked and was great. Only one downside and out of their control. The traffic on Route 1 in front of the hotel was beyond terrible. Took almost 10 minutes to get to the hotel and I could see it on the other side of the street, but had to wait to get to the light, to use the turn-around to get to the other side, ugh!... Read more

We enjoyed the Hampton Inn. Staff were very accommodating and the rooms were nicely appointed. Breakfast was great, especially with the 6:00 AM start to breakfast as we had to be on the bus to our lacrosse tournament by 7:00 AM. Facility was nicely appointed, and comfortable. Only small flaw was air quality in the room overnight, but we didn't complain, although I'm sure they would have tried to accommodate us. Staff were friendly and very helpful!

They even offer a complimentary steak dinner, which we didn't try. There is a pantry with a large selection of snacks and even wine. Room was very clean, only stayed two nights and everything got replaced. Complimentary breakfast as well as dinner Monday-Thursday. Also the DirectTV in the rooms was a great touch. I was able to attach my laptop to the TV because the HDMI cable in the room was accessible. It was only a $6-$8 Uber ride from downtown Princeton where the campus, shops and restaurants are.

Fairly modern, well-appointed Hampton that has the sizeable rooms, friendly staff and decent benefits you come to expect from this chain. Each one has a bit of a feel of a privately-run hotel, and they benefit from it. Very clean rooms, nice staff. And in this case, because they (apparently) know that there aren't easily-accessible restaurants nearby and they're on a fairly busy highway with lots of traffic, they offer a manager's special dinner--free: A buffet with salad, rolls, main course... The room was wonderful. Had a work event there onboarding employees and the staff were very attentive and very professional and wonderful. We had the conference room, while a little dated, met our needs and the staff was very attentive to our needs. They even let us take over the breakfast area to onboard our new employees. The mattress was wonderful, room was spacious. I will definitely stay here in the future!
