Was just here for a shopping trip. I will say it was a clean room. They are renovating the hotel and the people doing the remodeling are somewhat of a pain. The person removing the wallpaper was offended that we were walking in the hall in a hotel to get to our room. Imagine that trying to walk in the hall to get to your room. Also the hotel looks nothing like it does in the pictures. It was not a very good experience. The ladies at the front desk were very nice though. The hotel in right on rt ... Read more

I was here on business in january and happened to be there for THE snow storm. It was great that since everything was shut down and nobody was delivering food they actually had someone cook for the guests and it was awesome food.....way better than delivery. They went above and beyond so dont worry about staying here. It is a great place.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly. Was on a main road but could not hear the traffic when you were inside the hotel. It was easy to find since it was on the main road. The continental breakfast wasn't bad either.

I stayed here many times years ago and I was really happy with my stay this time. Everyone at check in was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were quiet, bed was comfy, renovations are looking great, it's on a beautiful tree lined street and 24 hour coffee/tea was a nice touch.

Older HIE that is being renovated. At the intersection of major north Jersey roads. Great shopping in Paramus. Thirty minutes from the George Washington Bridge. Rooms are adequate, standard HIE. Breakfast was OK. Very helpful and personable staff. Would return if in the area again.

First off the staff was super friendly, from housekeeping to front desk. It is an older Holiday Inn but very clean and close to city and Paramus. The breakfast was good and quick. The bed were comfortable and clean. There wasn't a microwave in my room which there is one in the lobby, but if you are other end of building it is a trek. It helped me get my steps in each time lol. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Parking is limited. A bit noisy - staff and visitors. The parking spaces are right outside the rooms, so headlights, alarms, doors and conversations all enter into your room. There were several bugs found, always in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok if you are good with bagels, fruit and yogurt. The eggs were awful and the breakfast meats greasy. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Stayed one night to attend granddaughters performance at Synchronized swim meet. Room appeared to be recently renovated and decorated. Room very quiet - quietest A/C unit I have experienced. In fact all public spaces looked new - everything very clean. Front desk attendant ( Amulya) very helpful -- great local restaurant suggestions and good directions to swim meet. Buffet breakfast provided extensive selection, excellent quality and frequent replenishment. All in all a great stay!.

Just needed a place for 1 night. To get here could be tricky (I wasn't sure Siri was directing us correctly and then the entrance is a sharp turn off a very busy road). This is an older property (long hallways) but our room was up to date and very clean. The bathroom is small (if that's something you worry about) but very clean. Bed is really high but comfy, they had assortment of firm and soft pillows. There was a refrigerator and a Keurig type coffee machine. We hit the breakfast bar, (not the... Read more

I was a little worried before arrival because reviews are not so convincing. But the entire stay was pleasant and comfortable. We were very late at check-in (over 12am) and the front desk staff was kindly helpful. Room were clean and quiet (even the parking lot was full) .Great location makes it even a good choice when you are staying in this area.

Exactly what we needed. The staff were really helpful and gave directions to the Golden State Plaza via backroads to avoid highway traffic & complications (5 mins away). The included self-service breakfast had everything you could want, hot & cold. I also managed to leave something important behind and they fedexed it to me at my next location. Couldn't ask for more.

This is an old hotel and is not designed like the more modern Holiday Inn Express hotels. The rooms are a bit smaller but adequate for a stay of one or two nights. Our bathroom was extremely small and had no place for the usual things that you would leave on the countertop. It was tolerable for a very short visit, and the location and price are very good. The bed (a king size one in our room) was excellent and like the beds in other Holiday Inns. It was very comfortable, but the bright, bli... Read more

This hotel makes the most of what they have to work with. The location on Rt. 17 between Rt. 4 and Century Road across from IKEA is very convenient for shopping at the many stores in the area. Being right on the six-lane highway makes it noisy if you have a room in the front. The breakfast room is closest to the highway, which does provide a bit of a noise buffer. Our room was in the back and we were ok. The property is old but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fairly... Read more

Place was nice, room average...staff extremely nice. Saved a lot of $ by staying here and then driving into nyc for the day. EZ to the GWB and liberty park in NJ. Good breakfast and quiet dispite being right on the main road. Extra towels no problem and knowledge of the area was a plus as the front desk folks knew the answers.

I chose the property because of the proximity to my client. It was clean, the staff very friendly and close to restaurants, shopping and the expressway. They don't get a full excellent rating because the bathroom is real awkward and the breakfast is the usual. Howevwr, they do have a nice happy hour which was a grand surprise. Overall it was good!

So let me start by saying that the 2 right spots of this hotel were Kyle at the front desk and the maintenance guy. They really seemed to care. To everyone else, it was just a job. The breakfast was average at best, the room was ok, but not up to par with other Holiday Inn Express' that I've stayed at, and the fitness room had nothing. If you're in the area, stay somewhere else.

I had to meet clients at Garden State Plaza and needed a place to stay overnight. Searched around and found Holiday Inn Express to be priced a little better that others nearby so decided to try it for the night. I was delighted that the hotel was a perfect fit for the night. Easy food delivery (menus given to me by friendly front desk worker), room was clean and bed and pillows comfortable. TV worked nicely and there was fridge and coffeemaker in the room. I am a realistic traveler. When I go o... Read more

Staff was nice. This was a typical Holiday Inn. Older hotel but renovated. Centennial breakfast was as stated on the web site. Coffee good. Rooms were adequate for my purpose. Did not spend much time there.

This stay was due to emergency repair at my home locally. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms. We needed two for my wife and adult daughter. The rooms were clean and will appointed for the price. There was a good breakfast too. The front desk people were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this location. I do recommend a room on the second floor and in the back.

This hotel does not have the prettiest building or the fanciest amenities but everyone that I came into contact with truly understood and embodied the term hospitality. Many others in this industry could learn from this staff. Venkat was particularly helpful to me in getting some documents printed for a business meeting I was attending.

This is an acceptable hotel located in the heart of Paramus. The rooms are small, but quiet and clean. The best feature is the morning breakfast with cinnamon buns and pancakes, and coffee and cookies all day.
