On busy Rt 17 just off the parkway. Convenient to Garden State Plaza Mall. New renovations happening now. Rooms are new, sleek, modern. Big desk work area. I was not aware of any free wifi. Bistro in lobby serves food and drink until 10pm. Free parking.

Very nice hotel, everything is brand new and extremely clean. The lobby/lounge area was especially well designed and spacious. It was also very convenient to be able to grab a bite to eat or drink at 'the bistro' rather than braving route 17 after a long day.

With 20 year old memories of the scruffiness of route 17, we booked this Courtyard on the basis of its website with some trepidation. We are so glad that we did. It all started with the check in experience. This was the most genuine and warmest welcome we have gotten anywhere. The receptionist Moniyah was just superb. The room was just a delight equal to some high end Marriott's we have used. A decent size, great furnishings, comfortable bed, all the usual amenities and a good sized bathro... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for four days, it's conveniently located near all HWYs and next to the shopping mall, also only short drive to the GW Bridge. We had no problem with checking in, our room was nice and clean. Internet was complimentary and worked well. There are a lot of places to choose for dinning, or you could simply drive to the mall and eat at their Food court. The price was a bet on the higher level, but cheaper then if you stay in Manhattan. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with a friendly staff. We stayed in and dinner here too at the lobby restaurant. The main reason we did is because the road the hotel is on is terrible. We didn't want to go back out and deal with route 17. The food was surprisingly very good. The lobby is comfortable and we are sitting on the couches watching tv. This is close to just about anything you can imagine.

It had been a long time (decades) since I stayed at a Courtyard. I was expecting a good experience, not something as as classy as a Hyatt Regency or Hyatt, but certainly a good step above a Best Western. For the money paid (roughly 140 a night) I was very disappointed that you still had to buy an overpriced breakfast in the morning. Nor were the limited food service facilities open all day. We arrived mid afternoon hoping to get a bite of fresh food to eat. All they had were snacks and mic... Read more

Firstly Jules Justin Emmer Maureen. Yep that's it. Nope nobody else. Hehe actually Christine I wouldn't forget you. These people are the best and have taken care of me very well. If there is anything that will make me come back It's these guys. Anybody else not mentioned is because I don't know them. Lobby bar- meh. But the food and service is great. Fast too. What I don't like is the fact that they close at 10 pm for drinks. What ? I have to uber it to somewhere outside if I want to keep goin... Read more

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. Stayed prior a flight and we were more than happy with this stay. Meredith is the best host I've ever met. The hotel is modern and super clean. Next time I have to come around I'll be here longer that's for sure. Great shopping, great food, great lodging...JUST GREAT EVERYTHING!!! Thank you Meredith!

Clean hotel, comfortable bed and great shower. Customer service at front desk was exceptional. Justin Sanchez took good care of us! The location was perfect for what we had to do in the area. Good value.

I had booked a room at Hyatt Fair Lawn, New Jersey for a board meeting I needed to attend. I placed my reservation about 30 or more days ahead of my stay. I received a call from The Hyatt saying they were overbooked and they rebooked me at the Courtyard Paramus. This is the first time that has ever happened and I told them I preferred not to stay at the Courtyard since my associate and my transportation was staying at the Hyatt. Well, after two phone calls and their insistence I acquiesced to st... Read more

I'm close to being a lifetime platinum Marriott member...so I'm very familiar with all types of Marriott properties. I travel frequently and appreciate the "Bistro" that Courtyard properties offer. I recently stayed at this hotel and ordered breakfast...took it back to my room and while eating it discovered an object (fingernail?) in the eggs. I took the food down to the front office manager who inspected it... and never even offered to take the breakfast charge off of my bill. I went back to my... Read more

I travel quite frequently for business and it is rare to encounter exceptional customer service. Justin was AWESOME!! He was so polite both when I checked in and when I checked out. The hotel was very clean and modern. The bathroom was huge compared to other hotels and the pillows were super comfy! Defintely the place to stay when near Paramus NJ.

My wife and I stayed here at the last minute near the end of a long road trip. We arrived close to midnight, but check-in was easy, and we were in our nicely appointed room within minutes. For the price, I would have expected more than one coffee cup pod in the room, but the desk clerk gave me another. Otherwise you need to buy coffee, and any other breakfast item, which wasn't that big a deal anyway since my wife doesn't eat breakfast, and I can take it or leave it.

The check-in was very quick and the room was spacious and comfortable. The rooms seem to be well insulated because we didn't hear any noise from our neighbors or the hall. The beds were comfortable and the rooms/hotel were very clean and well maintained.

We have stayed at Marriott for years and had regular visits. This time was very different. I'm writing a review because it was so bad it ruined our visit and we still have another night and I'm dreading it. It's honestly making us reconsider our Marriott reward card after 2 years. Our hotel room was dirty. There was brownish red streaks on our bathroom door. Of course my kids immediately notice it so I had to clean the poop or blood off the door. Our room was missing the rollaway bed as well tha... Read more

I booked a weekend for my family and I to stay at this hotel last week. I was looking forward to my stay since I had heard the hotel was newly renovated. When I arrived the gentleman at the front could not find my reservation. I showed him my email confirmation, but he was able to find it in the system. I booked two rooms, but they could only find the reservation for one. He went to find the Assistant Manager, great! This woman was so rude, extremely unprofessional, and condescending. They claim... We were at the Courtyard Paramus only for one night to attend a party in Ridgewood. It is a little challenging to get into the "driveway" of the motel on Route 17, but the motel itself is well run. The check in procedure was effortless and the room was comfortable. The breakfast area is a "go to the counter, order, and then get served at a table." The breakfast food was good, not great, but good.
