I spent 5 nights in this hotel recently for a work conference. Overall a great stay and the hotel is conveniently located for our offices. It was a good stay which met all my expectations. Pluses: - Very spacious, well decorated room - Good conference facilities - In-room dining offers the full menu of the Grille restaurant. - In room continental breakfast hearty with good quantity and quality food - Great customer services overall. All needs were met, including a leaky toilet flush which was ... Read more

This hotel is located in a wooded area that makes it a very quiet place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are ready to assist you with what you need. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The longest and most critical review I've ever submitted: This was a non-conference business-pleasure stay for 4 nts. The hotel is functional. The restaurant serviceable. The housekeeping staff very good. The front desk is, in my retail professional opinion, in Great Need of Better Training and Supervision. Upon check-in, with no one else in line, we were subjected to a chatty staff delay and then included in complaints about paychecks and someone's mother who works there. At the restaurant the ... im not sure why, but it seems the bigger the hotel chain the less bothered they are about service to clients. This is a big hotel in the area, and one that gets a lot of business. i would say, dont give it the time of day. the receptionist was snooty and the place, well the place was not all that at all. It was literally packed with people staying the weekend we stayed in June 2016, for the Princeton reunion weekend. For over $390 per night, for one small room, it was just not worth the money a... Stayed here on a business trip back in Nov of 2015. Very well kept hotel. Perfect for business. Beds are comfy and good room service. Spacious layout of room. Not much around outside the hotel, but still a good location to get around to the main highway. Jay S.

At first glance, the room was quite nice. After a little while, we discovered the rug around the refrigerator area was completely saturated. Upon further inspection of the refrigerator, we found that it was not working at all, and there was water leaking. We called and the refrigerator was replaced. However, when we tried to connect to the wi-fi we were told that it was being worked on and would be fixed later that day. Three days later still no wi-fi. When someone in the hotel ran the wat... I stay for business a lot the hotel is nice. But the cell signal is terrible, you have to walk around the hotel in multiple places to make a call. Room service is good. Staff is friendly. Air conditioning can be noisy. Beds are comfortable. I've never had any issues with this hotel.

We stayed here while visiting Princeton University. Not walking distance but a short drive. Our room looked nice and felt comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot tub. The grounds look nice but it was raining so we didn't explore the exterior though we could see a gazebo next to the pond in the back and some chairs possibly set up for a wedding. We didn't try any of the hotel food but there is a restaurant and bar there.

The hotel is located in a quite area with shuttle services. I stayed there in and out for three months to commute between DC and NYC. Very ideal location between two cities. Rooms (Executive Floors) are clean and large. Bathrooms are renovated. Wish they leave refrigerators in Executive Lounge for drinks even after the evening lounge hour is over at 7pm, but front desk people accommodated my requests for drinks whenever I asked after the lounge was closed. Highly recommend this hotel. I am a Gol... Read more

Typical business hotel. Rooms are spacious and nice (though it would be nicer to but a coach in the room instead of a second double bed...). The atmosphere is highly impersonal however. The location of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is OK but nothing special. A bit strange with my European background that you have to pay an additional 6,5 dollar (!!!) when you order a cappuccino at breakfast. And quality-wise, Italians would not even dear to call that a cappuccino.

It is located 10 minutes by car from the Downtown Princeton, if you are by car I highly recommend to stay here. It is standard business meeting hotel, close to many pharmaceutical companies nearby. The ups are the quiet surrounding, ability to walk in some part of the grounds, we were stopped at the point around the lake by a guard who told us nicely but firmly we could not go further around the lake as it was private property. I am sure the hotel is less busy during the weekend, and a lot less ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with a 6 year old and 18 month old as part of a "sesame place" package. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the hotel is clean and offers many amenities for the business clientele that seem to frequent it the most. However, we thought the hotel was an impressive business center that wasn't really kid-friendly enough to be a "sesame place" partner. Our room had no tub which made bath time challenging (I'm not sure if any rooms DO have tubs, so you may want to check when you... Read more

Clean, easy to get to, large parking, nice lobby, standard rooms with slightly small bathroom, good and comfy bed, continental buffet breakfast, dinners in restaurant were of average quality, probably better to go eat outside. Pool and fittness facilities somewhat outdated but clean.

This hotel is a nice conference center hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the facility clean and the rooms handsomely suited for an individual or family. The wait staff in the restaurant were top notch and customer friendly. My only negative during my stay was the lack of service during the overnight, when I was repeatedly unable to reach anyone by phone at the front desk or housekeeping dept. when I needed assistance. As a business hotel, I did not expect to not receive service... Read more

The hotel has been improved since Crown Plaza took ownership, in terms of room decoration, lobby and breakfast, but not enough. You expect better quality and service from Crown Plaza. The location is great and the parking is free and close to the hotel.

Nice room, quiet but breakfast was too expensive for what they offered. No omelette station. Nice staff though. The conference center is across the walkway ramp. Weddings galore there too! The GPS tells you to go to Holiday Inn, which is connected by walkway, but Crowne Plaza is the next street over. The Front desk did not have any bandaid. My heel was bleeding all day and I couldn't get a bandaid!! I could not believe they said no bandaids. So strange.

I really liked the conference rooms at the Crowne. I really appreciate that some rooms have comfy couches instead of the boring setup. The grounds are beautiful with lake vista and waterfall. There is plenty of free parking too. I sampled the food over 3 days. The food was Ok but not very impressive or presented in an appealing manner. there were a lot of tiny plastic containers and even the silverware was plastic. I did not see recycling containers. The coffee bar was excellent. I stayed at... Read more

This hotel was a very pleasant experience in NJ. Good front desk staff, great housekeeping staff, friendly and wonderful restaurant staff. The rooms, the common area and the grounds were well maintained and clean. If you are planning on staying I would suggest you select a room price which includes the breakfast. The selection of food items was good. During the week this includes an omelet station. If you don't plan on eating breakfast you can skip this. It is 4 miles from NJ transit and ... Read more

Visited here recently and was extremely pleased. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and most important to me was it was quiet. Although the hotel was very busy the rooms were almost sound proof. Another plus was the large parking lot that was well lit. I would recommend a stay here if you are in the vicinity.

Attended a conference here and overall, the facility was very nice. Room was clean, although the sheets never quite fit the bed. The sheets were smaller than the king sized mattress so kept coming off of the corners because they could not be pulled all the way down. Had several meals as part of conference, and most of them were quite good. The conference rooms were freezing cold. The hotel is not centrally located, so unless you have a car or plan to uber, don't expect an in-town location. ... Read more

The meeting space is great, food was good and guest rooms adequate. The hotel seemed very short staffed. Common areas are dirty. Lint was on the floor though my entire stay and the elevators were filthy, especially in the conference area. The stairway railing were full of dust. They served coffee in paper cups at breakfast. I would expect glassware in a Crowne Plaza. The outside is also not well maintained. I believe for the size of the property they need to invest into more training for their ... Read more

Great rooms, lobby. very calm and peaceful. We checked in around midnight on our way to Boston got a great rate from IHG with breakfast, breakfast left a bit to be desired for crowne plaza standards but very friendly staff made up for it.

The front desk staff was quick and efficient the check in process was very fast. When i asked about breakfast the agent explained to me and gave me the breakfast coupons that was part of my packet. Hotel is very clean. The rooms are impeccable and the bathroom in the room is very clean. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are great. This is a fine hotel. Nothing is great. Nothing is terrible. It's a reasonably priced option in the Princeton area, specifically in Plainsboro. Nothing will shock you by how bad it is. Nothing will surprise you by how good it is. A fine and reasonable option.

Writing in as a current IHG Spire Elite member. Mixed feelings with this hotel, good rooms, well maintained, good food options. However found the staff a mixture of ones who are customer focused, friendly and helpful and some who seem self absorbed, discourteous and reluctant to help and even answer basic queries.

Stayed here for business last week. It was only for one night and I'm glad about that because one night was more than enough. The hallways and elevators were dirty. The carpet in my room was very old and musty. The carpet was actually peeling off the baseboards. The shower had mold and a very poor attempt at caulking around it. There was hair in the shower and the sink wasn't very clean. I will say the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. If given a choic... Read more
