I was in Morristown on business and checked into the hotel after 10pm after a long day of meetings, with a long day of travel ahead. My check-in was very welcoming and hassle-free, and within minutes I was opening the door to my room on the 15th floor. The room itself was lovely, but outside on street level there was a live band across the street that appeared to be just starting for the night. My heart sank as I knew the rest I desperately needed would not happen with the noise level. I tur... Read more

The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. My 6th floor room offered a nice view. I was disappointed that they charged $25 for early check-in, and a bottle of water in the room cost $4. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. I'd stay there again.

Stayed one night for business. Front desk was polite and efficient. Great location within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping in town. Rooms are outdated although very spacious. My tub was a slow drain so kind of gross standing in a pool of water while showering. Although room was clean, Furniture etc showed a lot of wear and tear. I would stay again as it was enough to meet basic needs, but certainly could use a refresh sometime soon

Excellent hotel right in the middle of all the activity in downtown Morristown, walking distance from all high end shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms were up to date with comfortable beds, nice furnishings including a mini fridge. Staff was very friendly and ready to assist. Nice parking right under the hotel, free with your room stay.

Excellent hotel with many amenities. Area had an abundance of restaurants & eateries. Rooms were extremely nice, well appointed, very clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was very good. Staff (front desk, bellhops & vehicle valets) were all very helpful.

First time to Morristown for a business trip. Hotel was wonderful and staff very good and helpful. Food: work event and many buffet style meals - all great, fresh baked goods, salads and soup. Very accommodating for vegan and gluten free people too. Hotel is next to movie theater which is convenient for low key evening. Also, hotel guests can use the local gym connected to hotel and that is massive. With many options for workout and classes too. Room: clean and well maintained. Perfect f... Read more

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for one night as a treat to ourselves. It was located near places we wanted to visit. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance of most places we were interested in seeing. The amenities, however, were missing. There was no shower cap, limited amount of soap and public computers boiled down to one only in the lobby. The real perk was breakfast. When you book a room, go for the added breakfast buffet at an extra $15. The selection and ... Read more

I love coming to this hotel! The staff is always wonderful, the hotel is really pretty, and it feels like a home away from home. I was there for a gaming convention, and not only are the staff interested in what we were doing, but they play the games (off shift of course!) as well. They always do an extra step to make our stay so great every time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Definitely, this hotel is in line with all other Hyatt hotels world-wide. Friendly personnel. Good variety of meals for the breakfast. During the stay we had organized lunch which was very good as well. The facilities are generally clean and the location is good for surrounding companies and industries. One disadvantage I would like to raise - poor noise isolation in the rooms and noisy air conditioning units. I believe this is something they can fix. Besides that, it is very good hotel.

Since moving from New Jersey this property has been our "go to" for all visits to see friends and family. Our many stays have always been excellent and this past visit was the very definition of what outstanding service is. This trip was a big event since we were celebrating my father's 90th birthday with the entire family. in spite of his great overall health, traveling from Florida and staying away from home could have been a taxing experience but the amazing treatment we received from Gener... Stayed for 3 nights on business trip. Hotel feels very tired and a bit dingy ... Rooms are generously sized but the bathrooms are tiny and so bizarrely are the wardrobes - one small one which is already filled with luggage rack, ironing board and spare pillows etc - almost no room to hang shirts or jackets! Be careful which side and which floor your room is on - the building opposite has some monster air conditioning towers which are very noisy and the room windows are poorly sealed - makes f... The location, facility and staff were excellent. The location is walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. The facility was clean, modern and had an AMC theater attached to the building. Which worked out well for my teenage boys. It also had 2 nice restaurant and a swanky lounge attached. Lastly, the staff was always courteous and helpful. The only minor complaint was the valet on duty was a little pushy. All and all an excellent trip.

We only stayed one night but the staff made it a usual terrific Hyatt experience, from check-in to check-out. The room was absolutely spotless and the air conditioning was superb. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by good amenities, including Ming 2 restaurant where we had a wonderful pan-Asian dinner.

This was my first time in Morristown and I would have loved more time to explore the area. My room was huge but lacking in any sort of atmosphere. While it seemed the decor had been updated, it still looked tired. The bathroom was small. The breakfast buffet was good. The bartender was very pleasant and provided excellent service. Not sure if there are other options nearby but I think I might seek those out on my next visit in the area.

My stay was generally adequate. However, we had a similar problem this time as we did when we stayed in 2014. This was that the room was not serviced on the Saturday. We stayed from Friday night through Sunday morning and on both occasions the room was not services on the Saturday. Last time in 2014 when we raised this with the front desk on the Saturday afternoon they said that it was too late and apologised. This time, we returned to the room on Saturday afternoon and once again, as in 20... Read more

Late post... Ok so I was a little worried about this hotel after reading the reviews about the party life weekends, especially while traveling with a 4 month old baby, but I would have to say I enjoyed it. We were on the third floor and didn't hear anything. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. Of course the chairs looked a little worn but people sit in them, that's expected! The employees were extremely helpful. I had asked for a little bit of dish washing liquid for the baby's... Read more

We had a very disappointing experience this past weekend. We were first put in a room overlooking a roof with very loud equioment. When we asked to be moved, the front desk clerk was extremely indifferent, eventually moving us but only concerned with whether we had touched anything in the room (I guess she didn't want to have to have the room re-cleaned). The room to which we were moved was not sufficiently stocked and we later realized was not sufficiently clean. We didn't have time to complain... Read more

It absolutely depends on what you are looking for. I visit New Jersey frequently for business and tried a couple of hotels such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc. Quite frankly speaking, compared to some other places around the world, these hotels are all a little bit "aged"... Having said this, I ended up coming back multiple times to the Hyatt in Morristown for the following reasons: - you can simply walk outside the hotel and you have a huge choice of restaurants in Morristown. - it has fr... The company I work for has hosted an annual happy hour at The Hyatt and recently hosted a seminar there as well. The facility is beautiful inside, well kept, and the team is very service oriented. I was so impressed when the events manager Javier went to CVS to buy me AAA batteries for a speaker system we needed for our presentation at the last minute! That's service.

First, they did not reserve the correct rooms for me and my family. Second, the manager was rude and condescending to me and my wife. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, the manager tried to convince us this was our error. I have never dealt with a nastier person.

The accomodations are excellent, staff friendly. the location could not be better, as you are in walking distance to many resturants and shops, which was ideal, as I had no transportation while here. Stayed on 11/26/2016. Staff was GREAT! We had a few issues and staff would respond right away. Minor issue is that we wanted a king bed. Instead, we got what Hyatt calls a "king" although it is 6" short in the width compared to standard measurements. I wish I could post pics but we had to take pics of the mattress to show management the next morning after tossing and turning.
