Zero offer of water or cookies at check-in, but cookie signs all over lobby bc that's supposed to be Double Tree's trademark. Greeted by a pile of dirty glasses in front of our door. Entered to find dresser top a sticky mess, phone unplugged, micro-fridge powered off, thermostat off, and a rats nest of wires and adapters plugged into the outlet behind the bed, all smashed up to the mattress. Huge fire hazard! When closed and locked, one could push the door open about 3/4", which is plenty of... Read more

Staying here for last week and a half. Any time I'm in town I'll be staying here. It's clean easy to get to, has friendly staff. Free parking, quite and has morning breakfast for free. Oh Free wifi that works extremely well. Jonathan Defren had all my stuff ready to go when I checked in. He was very helpful which was very nice after a long journey. It's nice to check in quick and get to a nice clean room without waiting. I have already told my other associates about this hotel and many are stay... Read more

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and the king room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced. The one complaint is that the bathrooms need updating. The shower, in particular, needs to be adjusted, but, all in all, a good experience. We were there for a wedding.

I voiced my opinion at the front desk,,, took me 30 mins to wash out the shampoo of my hair due to the no water pressure, the hair dryer that got so hot I could hardly hold it,,,the room was so dated I felt like I was in another bottom level hotel. I booked at doubletree as I don't like to go out to dinner and 90% of the time I eat in the restaurant. There was a Hampton inn down the street that I will stay at the next trip up. The front desk tried to say they were sorry but after the email I rec... Read more

The bathrooms are up to standard for a doubletree inn. The service was poor. Our room was it cleaned or done for the 2nd day.We came in late and had ask for clean towels. The bills showed wrong amount until we checked out.

Stayed for 7 days for Business. Staff was excellent and helpful, was given more coffee packets when asked with no questions. Breakfast was free and very good. Most important, the Hotel was quite to accommodate my sleeping schedule.

I stayed in room 427 on Monday night. I drove from Pittsburgh to Mahwah, and was stuck in NJ traffic delaying my trip by 4 hours. I arrived at around 12:30am. I was tired, and was looking forward to a good night sleep. I chose DoubleTree, because I was under the impression it was a good brand within the Hilton family. Well... the room was disgusting. The room had 2 beds. I pulled the sheet back on one bed, and found 3 hairs (other people's hair) staring back at me. I used purell wipes to... Read more

First of all, the front desk staff was efficient and friendly. I appreciate getting an upgrade as a Gold Hilton Honors member. The Junior suites are nice. The bar next door offers the breakfast. I didn't care for that arrangement, I felt a little uncomfortable. I feel the value on the room was excellent, but it is in an out of the way location. Access to dining is a bit difficult.

I traveled for business purposes and found the overall experience to be average and what someone would expect from a hotel. The reservations, checking in, checking out and the actual stay was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The problem was breakfast! They charge you $14 for a buffet of crap. Yes you could order something besides the buffet food but even that wasn't good! If you're looking for a hotel stay and aren't worried about breakfast than this is the place for you. If you're a no... Read more

Reservations easy, staff friendly and efficient, rooms clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was good nothing out of the ordinary, the bar restaurant decor should be updated. Overall a pleasant stay for wedding guests. 7

We had an overall pleasant experience. It's hard to reach by public transportation. Quiet isolated. Ideal for sleeping and relaxation but not for excitement and/or cultural/social activities. The location is scenic and tranquil. Providing you don't have next door nosy guests, the place is quiet.

We booked a large block of rooms for wedding guests, including the entire bridal party. Everyone was able to check into their room early and no one rushed us out the door at check out time. The staff was friendly & helpful, greeting everyone with a smile and a warm cookie! They also passed out wedding bags the bride had prepared for her guests upon checkin! The bridal brunch we had the following morning at the hotel was lovely with plenty of food that was delicious! I would not hesitate to ... Read more

Not the usual Hilton owned hotel my family is used to staying in. We were staying in a block for a wedding party and were charged more than Hilton Honors members prices that we are usually charged. The hotel said they would honor our Hilton Honor price, but upon check-in said they could not honor it. The hotel was expensive for what you received. No breakfast offered and no happy hour. Our room door was broken and would not lock leaving all our room items vulnerable. The bath tub would not... Read more

Decent hotel but the room (2nd floor) had very thin walls. I could easily hear the guests in the adjoining rooms. And, the guests seemed to be using a relatively normal speaking volume, it didn't seem like they were screaming, etc. But, you could hear the guests above you, using their bathroom.
