Awesome service from the front desk to the bar staff. Valari was very welcoming when I checked in. John and Alex were very professional and accommodating with my dinner and drinks. What's funny is Everyone really pays attention when you yell's awesome!!!!!

This was my second time staying her .I remember when front desk told me it cost extra to park to stay in this hotel. What was i to do park on the street o there was know where to park but on the hotel lot and pay for it. The restaurant close up to early. We had to go next door to other hotel to eat. Which give me time to look at another hotel in the same area and i wish we stay there. And next time we will be staying at the RENAISSANCE hotel which include parking, late night eating .nicer hotel.

I usually always enjoy my stays at the Hilton Hotel Newark Airport. I was really disappointed when we stayed there on May 5th and May 6, 2016. We may have had a one off experience, but we stayed here overnight to catch a cruise the next day. The shuttle to the hotel from the airport was horrendous. It took forever to get to the airport and when it came it was one tiny shuttle bus and 40 people waiting for it. Shuttle driver was not very kind to say the least. We stayed here Pre Cruise. They have good shuttle service from the Airport, handled our baggage (considerable amount) effortlessly. We arrived late due to bad weather at DFW. Negotiated the signs in Baggage Claim (get on the Train to go to where the Hotel Shuttles pickup) to go to the correct spot for transportation. My reserved exec suit was unavailable for no good reason. Several unacceptable solutions were proposed until one smart employee finally made it right. It should not be this hard -- if you reserved a particular room you should get what you pay for.

Ok standard Hilton a little hard to find if you are driving. Comfortable, clean, no nearby restaurants, so you have to eat at the hotel which is expensive (breakfast $23 for one person) parking 23/ night. Main restaurant was closed on weekends except for breakfast. Bar was open and served most food items though, I saw steaks, burgers, salads etc. Food was very good but expensive, domestic beer $7. They do have a Starbucks in lobby.

On our way to Oregon for a vacation...always stay at this hotel. Professional staff, clean rooms. However, the hotel is showing its age and the plumbing could some attention. Still the limited menu on weekends along with the in-room coffee (hey Hilton Garden Inn has better) should be addressed.

As Hiltons go, this Hotel may not be luxurious but if you are from out of town and are boarding a flight early the next day, it is a lifesaver. Readily accessible from the main highway, it is spotless, welcoming, has courteous staff and worth the money spender. They have a great park and fly program in an enclosed secure garage next door that I took advantage off on more than one occasion. I have stayed in other hotels prior to flying but this one is the best.

location is good, close by airport and NYC. Rooms are very dated. I think the last remodel happened back in 1990. Its time Hilton it's time. I think anyone that has stayed here will agree that when you walk in the room it feels like you're the 10,000th person to sleep on that bed. ??????

Solid hotel that I've stayed at many times. Some updating from my last visit. Old property that has been updated somewhat, convenient to Newark and good service in the bar. Bed is good, room updates ok. Whether or not it is a decent value depends on the price paid, this time the price paid was too much.

Great hotel nerdy clean and comfortable sleep. We spen 2 nights before we got on to a cruise. Went into Manhattan every day, the front desk showed us how to use the transit system 45 min and all it cost us $5 per person 1way instead of paying $60 each way via taxi. Restaurant has a great breakfast buffet.

I always stay here when flying into EWR - generally I avoid the shuttle bus as you can be waiting for 30mins. The hotel is fine - bar and restaurant are good and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

Stayed here after a frustrating 6 hour delay then cancellation at EWR so it was a 'distress' purchase. Room Rate was $189 which given the fact that so many flights were cancelled I didn't think was opportunistic and frankly I would have slept in a shoe. I stayed in this Hilton last December as part of a stay and park for Port Liberty. The room and service at that time was better. I was told that I would need to walk up to the second floor to catch the elevator. I asked if there was a different option because I have arthritic knees. The hotel was fine but the shuttle form the airport was awful. We ended up taking a cab to the hotel which cost $25! We checked in and were told the lobby elevator was being renovated so we should use the service elevator behind the double doors. I was surprised and disappointed and how dirty the area was. Stay was fine.. Clean , friendly. Got room I wanted. I would recommend two things. A cheaper options for meals so you don't have to drive out. Stayed there over 4th of July weekend and took Uber to the city. This is super convenient if your flight lands in Newark. Also, pretty close to Liberty Island (in NJ) for the ferry ride to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. Everything else will cost a pretty penny - Uber shows a $20 NJ surcharge for all rides to and from the city. Also some Uber drivers avoid going to the city - so will have to deal with cancellations. We stayed here 2 times in a matter of 10 days. One was to drop kids off at super early time in the am and the other was to pick up one at 1 am and one at noon. Both stays we ate in the hotel bar area. The dining room was not opened but it didn't matter as the full menu was at the bar area and they have quite a few tables. Service both times was very good. Excellent Front Desk Staff Narita and Arriel were very courteous, friendly and put me at ease while assisting us with our stay that entailed two separate reservation confirmations. Hotel in need of repairs. The food was not very good. It was expensive. They dropped you off at your gate but when we arrive back the airtram was not working and we couldn't get a but to take us to P4 so we could be picked up by the shuttle back to the hotel to get our car. This hotel is close to the airport and has frequent shuttle service. What is immediately evident is the courteous staff especially in the restaurants and lounge. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Decor is a little odd, but functional in the guest rooms. The bathroom could use better lighting rather than just the decorative lights but shower water pressure is good. Reception area is large and welcoming.

Stayed at this hotel last week . Check in was okay . No one helps you with your bags. You take it all yourself to the room . Everything about the Hilton Newark Airport was great during my recent one night stay. Frequency and reliability of airport shuttle was much appreciated. Location was very convenient and less than -10- minute ride from airport. Hotel staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. And very quiet, which was a major plus. I will stay there again, and recommend it to others who have to be near the Newark airport.

Was pleasantly surprised to find the decor and ambiance pleasant and comfortable. I was there for a conference and there were nice areas to chat and talk outside of the conference programs. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and there is great shopping nearby - Jersey Gardens

Albeit we arrived in time for a late supper and departed before breakfast, we found the hotel to be comfortable and clean. Early AM shuttle service to the airport was crowded but efficient - more than one vehicle in service. Only downside in room was bathtub, which seemed to have been painted over. About half of this coat had peeled off, leaving a vessel in which no one would enjoy sitting and soaking. Hilton can do better. Otherwise, hotel served its purpose admirably.

I've stayed here several times in the last month to catch an early flight from EWR. Parking is reasonably priced, but on my most recent stay, I took my car back the night before and took the Hilton shuttle. It runs every 20 minutes and delivered me to my terminal the next morning. I was on a baseball tour and this is the hotel they booked for 4 nights. The first night was fine. We left and returned a day later for 2 nights. The first night the room was warm, I called twice for a fan they said they would bring one and never did. the second day they checked everyone on the tour out of their rooms. Just hope it isn't raining when you arrive; no valet and parking isn't connected to hotel. Don't sleep past 8am, maids will be slamming the doors (at least on the 5th floor). Our bartender kept forgetting our order or to check on us, so we only got one drink. The vending machines only worked on 4 out of 5 floors. My bathroom light was so dim, I couldn't use the mirror.

Just returned from a 2 night stay and was relatively pleased with my stay. The hotel is pretty much across the highway from Newark Airport however you will not hear any noise from aircraft. Check-in at 2pm was quick and front desk was very pleasant. Room on the 9th floor was clean and view was of the airport and off in the distance New York skyline. There is a bus shuttle from P4, however they should think about a new bus because it's not representing the hotel itself but gives you a first poor impression. It takes about 10 minutes to the hotel, you can eat there in the bar or the restaurant, the choices are okay. Average price level in that area. We had an early flight out of Newark for a trip to Aruba and used the airport's Park & Fly option. It was very convenient and we were transported back and forth to terminal by the hotel shuttle. You simply park in the covered garage and get your ticket validated upon return. Takes some of the craziness out of a trip. The hotel itself is very typical for an airport property - caters to business types, bar & restaurant, etc. The rooms are a bit beat up, but certainly nothing terrible.

I definitely don't think this hotel lives up to the Hilton standard in terms of upkeep and amenities but that's obviously not why people stay here. Overall, the hotel was decent, showing its age, but it seemed clean and I got a good night sleep so that's what I care about most. I only stayed 2 nights, but I thought the hotel was lovely and clean, the room size was great and it was well maintained. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel also was close to the airport, and therefore the airport train station is also close so you can get the train into NYC.

We had to stay here one night because we missed our connection flight. The price was a bit high but the service was great and the room was very clean. We totally recommend the bar. The food was great. Big shout-out to bartender John, who was not only super friendly, he also makes the best Long Island Iced Tea in the world!

Thank you to the shuttle driver and staff at the Hilton Newark Airport for finding and returning my wallet which was left on their airport shuttle. I thought for sure my wallet was a goner. To my surprise everything was returned including the cash. It's great to know there are honest people who take pride in their jobs and take the time and effort to help travelers like me. I chose the hotel to have a different experience from my normal stay at Hilton Newark Penn Station. I had a wonderful experience. The shuttle service was timely, there was a friendly reception and general hospitality during my stay.

I flew into Newark to meet up with my Aunt. We stayed here for one night. It was a nice, clean hotel. We got picked up at the airport by the shuttle. The driver was a lady who was really nice to us. I ordered macaroni and cheese to go from the hotel bar which was very tasty. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel which is very convenient. We ate the breakfast buffet in the morning which wasn't bad, it was just like every other hotel breakfast buffet. Overall we were happy.

This hotel is airport hotel and there is good airport shuttle. Nothing really in the walking distance from the hotel, no restaurants or shops etc. We were eating in the hotel restaurant and it was ok. Peaceful rooms. Hotel is located beside the highway but traffic sound stays off from the room. Cosy rooms. Exactly what you can expect from Hilton.

We had an early flight to Buffalo out of Newark. The hotel is across the street from the Airport (its a freeway so you need transport to get into the Airport). The hotel has a free shuttle that runs regularly and only take around 10-15 mins. The hotel is quiet, has comfortable rooms and beds. There were places to eat and drink on site, but the hotel also had a number of local takeaway menus if their options didn't suit. Stayed here before a flight with my family. It was a complicated drive between the airport and the hotel. Nice hotel and staff with a decent bar / food service. Shuttle in the morning was prompt and about a fifteen minute drive to the airport. Good service with all the airlines announced etc...

This is our favourite parking package hotel. We've used it previously for airport trips. Recently we used it for a week's parking during a Norwegian Gem cruise to The Bahamas from the Manhattan cruise terminal. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff both friendly and helpful.

I have stayed in this hotel many times, however upon my most recent stay standards have slipped. The rooms have remained consistent however staffing was poor. A sudden gust of wind meant that I dropped my luggage which spilled out however the Hilton staff - a doorman and a shuttle driver just walked straight on. The receptionist dealing with this complaint informed me that "drivers drive, they don't pack your luggage". This unhelpful ignorance is not what you expect as a guest.

We had cut our vacation short from Martha's Vineyard due to the storm but we're not quit ready to go home. The hotel was clean and well kept. It was busy with a local convention, but the hotel remained quiet. The staff was extremely helpful. The new (at least to me) door key on your phone app worked great. I checked in and received my key on my phone. When I arrived at the hotel, I only had to go straight to my room, and relax. I stayed one night at this hotel. The check in staff was great. Great location if you are flying in or out. Offer shuttle to airport. Nice big room. Comfortable. Hotel is older but updated. My friends and I were attending a conference at this hotel. We arrived early and Jacklyn at front desk was immediately able to accommodated us which was fantastic! (We were exhausted and needed to freshen up) She was also able to provide info for the conference - she was fabulous. We decided to stay and have late lunch at the restaurant/bar and John was AMAZING! He made us feel right at home. Very customer oriented, he made our stay very pleasant. Night staff inattentive and self absorbed. Day staff less than helpful, except concierge (Larry). Van ride to and from airport jerky and no better than public bus transportation. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Would have stayed through breakfast, but, due to staff service and attitude, checked out early. Very surprising as I brought no issues nor showed any dispespect to staff.

Beat up old hotel. Rooms dated and small. Wifi extra. Parking extra and exorbitant. Food selections limited and overpriced. Staff was pleasant but this hotel is far closer to Clarion than a Hilton. No regular taxi service. Only hotel car.

This place is a great place to stay while having a night or to in New york! Large nice rooms, good service and a very good breakfast! Complimentary shuttlebus to and from the airport every 20 minute! Get to airtrain station P4 and wait for the Hilton newark airport bus and you'll be at the hotel in 10 minutes! While going in to NYC there is a 30 minute and 13 dollar trainride in to Penn station! Great value of money in a ridiculously expensive hotel city!

I only had dinner here but it was excellent at the bar area. Even though there were a couple of mix ups in order delivery the waitress was wonderful. She compt my first beer and was very apologetic and friendly.

I was there for a conference, its fairly close (20 minutes) from airport. The rooms are nice and clean. I did not like the way that they had a movable table and power cord setup. However in terms of a place to stay for a day or two it fine. The restaurant has only Ruths Chris Steakhouse which is a bit pricey. Nothing close that you can walk to. Use Uber much faster than cabs.

Gone are the days when the Hiltons were a reference in the world of hotelry. My 8th floor room had a distinct moldy smell. Next thing I noticed was sticky residues on the bedside table - if there is one surface that should be systematically wiped every day that's it. Very nice hotel with plenty of room for our large group to spread out and visit. Our room was clean and the linen nice. The breakfast was very good. I used the fitness center, which was well equipped as well as the laundry, which was small but sufficient. We stayed three nights and would stay again.

Hotel was dark and needs some updating. However it was convenient to Newark and the airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Has a Starbucks but has very limited hours. Also, it seemed that housekeeping was moving a bit slow as their were dirty linens and food trays in the hallways at 2:30 pm.

As a Hilton Diamond member I stay at all brands of Hilton hotels and I expect that a full service Hilton will be a step above...let's say a Hampton Inn property...and that's why you're paying a little extra. Not an altogether positive experience. - five guests waiting at counter for check-in; one staff person working while two others wandered around in the lobby; - wifi not operating on the first of my 2-day stay; - cleanliness - not so much, as there were sticky spots on desk and credenza in room; - lighting in bathroom was crazy dim - bring a flashlight! - check-out had one person working and at least 10 people waiting in line. I stayed at the EWR Hilton on October 6 2016. The shuttle to/from the airport runs every 20 minutes. As an HHonors member I was upgraded to a King Deluxe (which I think may be the same size room as the standard King, but on a higher floor and with additional amenities) on the eleventh floor. Hotel is beautiful but does seem outdated. No USB ports in guest rooms and the complimentary Internet is not so good. The staff is friendly and the view at night is pretty from the higher floors. Close to the train station.

This Hilton was right by the airport and all the major highways making it easy to get from and back to the hotel. I used Gobal airport parking which was a little more reasonable than the hotel parking, It's right next to the hotel (just saying if you want to save $$)

This hotel is nice and it has views from rooms and a swimming pool and workout room. It also has a Starbucks in lobby but on Sundays it is only open from 5 am till noon. Too bad it doesn't stay open longer. Also, the restaurant is closed on Sunday but the bar area serves same food as restaurant and that is open. Hotel is clean and quiet. No hot tub in pool area.

My family and I flew out of Newark on our way to Orlando. We took advantage of the Park, Stay and Fly offered by the Hilton. It was very easy!! I would highly recommend. The difference in price to Park, Stay and Fly compared to parking at the airport was minimal and the convenience was invaluable. The hotel itself was decent. I felt that my vehicle was safe in the gated parking garage. I would absolutely use this option again and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at this property before taking a cruise from the Manhattan Pier. They had the best deal with the stay n' park 8 nights (also a great deal on the stay 'n cruise but parking was 7 nights). I compared all the hotels and their deal was amazing. Room was very clean and well designed. Hotel felt safe and parking as well (covered parking). The shuttle was also a great bonus to get to Manhattan. I would stay there again.

This place is very close to airport. We only stayed one night. It was really comfortable and clean. We would stay here again when flying from Newark Airport and wanting to be close for convenience. It's close to NYC as well so we spent the evening in the city then came back to the hotel with a fairly short commute. You have to pay for self parking although valet is available too.

Our room was comfortable and clean. Beds comfy, tea/coffee machine, fridge (although I wasn't impressed to find an empty and a full soda can from the previous guest in there). Good toiletries. Cleaner went the extra mile for me and found some extra teabags for me. We enjoyed the pool and were able to pay ?50 to use our room until 6pm. Breakfast buffet was nice and staff were friendly and efficient. Handy shuttle bus to the airport every 20 minutes.

My entire stay experience was wonderful! From the Airport Shuttle Drivers to the Barista to the Room Attendants to the Engineers...this hotel has an OUTSTANDING and guest-focused team! I traveled for business to the area and stayed here on a Wednesday night in order to catch my plane the next morning. Queen bed had no comforter, only the duvet cover and the outlets on the left side of the bed's headboard did not work. Good thing I'm naturally warm blooded else it would've been a cold stay for me. My coworkers were also staying here and confirmed they had comforters on their beds.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. However, my only concern is with parking. They give you a card to enter in and out of the lot, but the front desk fails to inform you that the gate isn't working and you cannot use the card.

Nice clean and comfortable room but there were very noisy kids on the floor we were staying on. They did not quiet down until after midnight. I should probably have complained but I was tired and had to get up early. Service to and from the airport was excellent.

Very convenient to Newark Airport but what got my attention was exceptional service and chef creativity in the restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich without the bun and what arrived was a beautifully arranged plate with a large mound of fresh arugula, sliced cheese and tomato and very tender grilled chicken breast. Hotel was nice and clean. The restaurant was very expensive. We had one burger, one ceasar salad, and four beers for $85. The Portuguese steak house, Valencia that's less than 2 miles away has much better food for less money. It's well worth the taxi fare to go to the steak house.

This property is showing its age, clearly in need of a major refurbishment, There is no Executive Lounge. Breakfast buffet is $25. Shuttle to hotel from airport can take 45 minutes due to infrequent service, and you have to take AirTrain to an offsite parking lot stop P4 for pickup.

Maybe it is because I arrived at midnight and was leaving at 6 am but for whatever reason they gave a two room suite for my short stay. I don't really have Hilton status so who knows how this happened. Very close to the Airport, is the only reason to stay at this hotel.

Location: It's about 10-15 min shuttle ride from EWR. It's close to the Budweiser brewary (so good for those who want to have a photo of the brewary). Other than that, not much in the neighbourhood. The Newark Hilton is a very reliable hotel. It sits very close to the Newark Airport, in Elizabeth NJ. Its close to NYC about an 35-60 min commute. The pricing is much less then staying in the city. It has all of the elegance of a Hilton property, without the NYC pricing. There's a shuttle to and from the airport. I spent one night here on a business trip and overall it was a great stay. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. My room was quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. I was a little worried about the noise because it is close to the highway and airport but I was able to get a room on the opposite side and it was quiet. I've stayed pretty much everywhere around EWR and I do try and stick to the Hilton brands when possible, but this place blows every other EWR hotel out of the water, especially from the service end of things. I stay here a lot when I have a early flight out in the am. It's clean and updated. The staff is always nice and the shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes. I have eaten at the restaurant twice and it's normal hotel style food. The parking for extend time their isn't bad at all. We stayed for three days as base camp for our four say whirlwind trip from the West Coast. I am loyal to Hilton and try to keep in perspective the location where I will be traveling. This is a good choice for anyone needing a few business days in NYC. Only an hour to get to the city via the NJ Transit, makes this a very value for money solution. The rooms are clean, well provisioned, and the bar and restaurant are fine but not more than that. I.e., there is very little to do / eat at the hotel so if you don't use it as a business or airport stop - it may not be teh right place for you.

Stayed here for two nights and was very impressed. For such a large hotel it had a friendly feel, the staff were all always polite and helpful. The room was great - spacious, clean and had good tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel was ideally located close to the airport and had a free shuttle bus that ran frequently during the day and evening. Really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again.

I was satisfied with the facility and have stayed there before. Other than difficulty operating the parking gate my stay was satisfactory. I thought the restaurant and bar prices were expensive. Also, I find my way there very easily with GPS but then am directed through a lengthy city drive on return trip before being able to get back onto I-95 South.

Nice and comfortable well located hotel. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast. The free shuttle bus was very handy and a short taxi takes you to the train station, it's nice and easy to get the right train into Manhattan, a lot more complicated to return so ask for advice at the station.

Stayed the night before an early flight with the park and fly rate. Early morning shuttle was no problem. They have multiple shuttles running at the same time. Room was modern and clean. I was able to choose my room prior to check in using the Hilton app, which was great. Will definitely use anytime i fly from Newark.

Don't think so I want to stay again for this money Other hotels have the little less cost for night and parking but is more friendly. Next time I ll try different hotel. Price is to high for just one night and bathroom problem .........? Definitely I'll try other hotel..

Convenient to the airport. A clean and modern welcoming Hilton which ticked all the boxes for my daughter and I. I would definitely use again if arriving into Newark from U.K. in the evening before an onward journey.

Multiple issues when staying- not an easy place to access. Parking garage does not have an elevator & the doorman yell at you for parking in the load/unload area to do just that! Yes, the doorman literally yelled as I waited for my party of 8. My key did not work to the first room issued, second room had not been serviced, so they politely "upgraded" my room (mind you after I drug luggage up & down to the 7th floor several times). Hotel was ok, nothing spectacular. WIFI was on and off. Meals expensive especially when there were no other restaurants nearby. Clean towels had large brown burn marks on them. Allow 20 minutes for shuttle to take you back and forth to airport even though it is right across the road

I like the modern look and feel of the room as compared to other hotels that i stayed at newark airport. The noise from the ice room was disturbing. Suggest to ask for a room that is far away. Check in experience is poor. Only 1 staff at reception to serve a queue of guests. There is a Starbucks coffee within the hotel. Convenient for breakfast to go as there is no other food choice nearby. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Convenient for Airport. Used for meeting business, acceptable meeting facilities - but only fair internet. Local food not attractive. THe meeting service food qualtiy was fair. THe price of wine and/or corkage was absurd.

We stayed here and used a Park, Stay and Fly rate that included 8 nights of parking since we had an early flight to Los Cabos the next day. It was convenient to park in the garage, and get up in the morning and hop the shuttle. It was pretty crowded but the driver managed to fit all 4 of us and our luggage and golf clubs, with other passengers. Had a 14 hour window between flights and decided to get a room for the day. Room was clean and friendly staff. Restaurant below had good food, but airport pricing. Would definitely stay as price value ratio was good.

Stayed one night on way home from Brooklyn. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable. We used the parking lot and there wasn't one spot open in the entire lot. The bathroom was nice and the shower good. I thought there was a complimentary breakfast, but there wasn't.

The meeting staff was terrific. They went beyond the call of duty to make sure that our meetings went well. On the other hand, the breakfast dining room staff and the bar staff were not paying attention to business. It took 3 trips to the server station and 45 minutes to get our bill. My rating of the service is an average of my "Excellent" and "Terrible" ratings.

Centrally located to NY as well as Jersey Gardens Mall. Food places are not far away and also close to airport. Hotel was very neat and clean. Housekeeping was attentive. You do have to pay to park but if your okay with that then overall great stay.
