Lower rating due to elevators not working properly. Had to walk down from 6th floor with handicap wife 2 mornings because not all 3 elevators were working & we were late for family events. Waiting once 45 min. Asked if this was going to be fixed however the following morning had same situation. Now wonder if it was addressed or fixed or if the bus loads of foreign travelers were holding them up & staff didn't address them on this. Room with view was excellent. Poor internet.

First, a positive. The beds were fantastic. The rest of the stay, not so fantastic. I booked two rooms online 6-months before traveling. One room was a King and the other was two doubles. When we checked in, we asked for our Hilton Honors Award number to be applied. They couldn't find any record of our name in their system. We were told to call the 800 Hilton number. (This is despite staying in Hampton's regularly and they are ALWAYS able to access our Hilton Awards number.) When we got to our... Read more

Only thing that was nice about my stay was the desk counter staff. Hotel staff around were not friendly. The room was way less than expected for a Hilton. Wallpaper peeling off, marks all over the walls, beds were terrible and not level, outlets outdated and not working properly. Reservation was for a King and I got two twin. AC could not keep the room cool enough for a comfortable night sleep even on high. vents were filled with dust and dirt.

Spent 5 days in the Hilton Meadowlands discovering New Jersey transit and the New Jersey to New York countryside. No complaints here: early check-in was easy and free, front desk staff was cooperative and friendly, as were the shuttle drivers taking us on the free shuttle to the train station at all hours. Only complaint was construction and renovation worker bees hammering away on Memorial Day morning. A bit much

This property has very affordable rates on weekends, so it's great for a Friday or Saturday night stay. I often stay in the area when I have to work both Friday night & Saturday morning, so this fit the bill. Only downside is not enough hours to enjoy how comfortable the bed is. Checked in past midnight and departed 7 AM. One upside is that restaurant opens 6:30 AM so I was able to have the complimentary breakfast offered to premium HHonors members. This is not a new hotel, but it is very well maintained. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was particularly nice, and the pillows were so comfy that we plan to buy similar pillows for our home. The hotel has a lovely indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. We stayed here overnight July 23 after the Guns n Roses concert. It was perfect for a one night stay and close to the Meadowlands. We drove over to tailgate with friends. Just two things. One: We checked in at about 4:30 for an 8:30 concert. Though the line moved efficiently, but we still waited about 15-20 minutes on line just because of the volume of people checking in. My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Meadowlands the evening of the Paul McCartney One on One Tour at MetLife Stadium. We arrived around Noon on Sunday, and while the official check-in time is 4 pm, the front desk staff did their best to get our room earlier - and we greatly appreciate their effort. While we did have to wait a bit - and we were well aware that we would have to wait - the wait was worth it; the room was clean and well-maintained, and the lobby itself was also in great shape. My husband and I booked this hotel for a trip to Manhattan two weeks ago. We had stayed there a few years ago when it was a Sheraton and we were able to use our air miles this time for a great deal - much more reasonable than a stay right on the island, as it also includes free parking and a shuttle to the train station. It costs $8.50 return on the train and in one stop you are at Penn station in the middle of it all. When we arrived they were unable to accommodate our king bed reservation at t... Read more

We chose this hotel because of the location to the MetLife Stadium. We stayed one night - the night of the Paul McCarthy concert. The hotel was booked solid but we only had a short wait to check in to our room. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable but the bathroom needs an update. The Hilton has a very large - free- parking lot. We drove to the concert - no trouble getting there or coming back. Overall this is a good hotel if you are going to the MetLife Stadium.

We stayed at the Meadowlands Hilton for my husbands birthday and to go the MetLife stadium for a Jet game. Everything was perfect! Chris who took my reservation was so professional and courteous. He gave us a room on the executive level with an amazing view and even arranged to send a bottle of Proseco to the room! The rooms were very clean and a nice size. The restaurant looked fresh and like it was just remodeled . The view from the executive lounge was great view of NYC! Breakfast was very g... Read more

Three day conference in hotel: service was good, room was good, breakfast was good. However, the meeting rooms were 80+ degrees on two of the three days (of course, walking outside was then not so much a shock). Quite a shame there is no shuttle to the stadium.

The little things that aren't there add up. Stronger internet service...bottled water in rooms...any type of food service past 11 pm. When you have a sold-out hotel for an event at MetLife stadium, it would make sense to staff accordingly. Have more than one bartender on after the concert. Off sandwiches are light munchies after the concert. These are common-sense suggestions that would be profitable and make your clients happier.

Short conference trip. Splurged and got the king room with view of the city. Just beautiful! Great room service, fried calamari and great salads. Lush bedding. Enjoyed my stay very much. Little glitch with lobby AC but it was 100 degrees outside. My room was nice and cool!

The staff at this property is second to none. From the front desk staff like Jose, Christopher, Lisette, Kristen, Daphne, Lilly, Ralph, Joe Anderson, and Zelmira, to the food service staff like Jorge, Rich, Anna, Amber, Jean Pierre, and Maribel -- the folks that work this hotel a super. There is plenty that is wrong with the property -- although the renovations to the bar and restaurant are very nice, and the elevator upgrade is much appreciated -- but it is the staff that works this hotel tha... We stayed for two nights - 30 and 31 June, 2016. We were part of a tour group, so had no choice of hotel, and were really concerned about the long list of very negative comments. The reception staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and adequate, but certainly needs updating. I suppose this is important if you want to spend time in your room - we did not. The buffet breakfast, arranged for our group, was only average. Overly-salty sausages and powdered scrambled e...
