Lower rating due to elevators not working properly. Had to walk down from 6th floor with handicap wife 2 mornings because not all 3 elevators were working & we were late for family events. Waiting once 45 min. Asked if this was going to be fixed however the following morning had same situation. Now wonder if it was addressed or fixed or if the bus loads of foreign travelers were holding them up & staff didn't address them on this. Room with view was excellent. Poor internet.

First, a positive. The beds were fantastic. The rest of the stay, not so fantastic. I booked two rooms online 6-months before traveling. One room was a King and the other was two doubles. When we checked in, we asked for our Hilton Honors Award number to be applied. They couldn't find any record of our name in their system. We were told to call the 800 Hilton number. (This is despite staying in Hampton's regularly and they are ALWAYS able to access our Hilton Awards number.) When we got to our... Read more

Only thing that was nice about my stay was the desk counter staff. Hotel staff around were not friendly. The room was way less than expected for a Hilton. Wallpaper peeling off, marks all over the walls, beds were terrible and not level, outlets outdated and not working properly. Reservation was for a King and I got two twin. AC could not keep the room cool enough for a comfortable night sleep even on high. vents were filled with dust and dirt.

Spent 5 days in the Hilton Meadowlands discovering New Jersey transit and the New Jersey to New York countryside. No complaints here: early check-in was easy and free, front desk staff was cooperative and friendly, as were the shuttle drivers taking us on the free shuttle to the train station at all hours. Only complaint was construction and renovation worker bees hammering away on Memorial Day morning. A bit much

This property has very affordable rates on weekends, so it's great for a Friday or Saturday night stay. I often stay in the area when I have to work both Friday night & Saturday morning, so this fit the bill. Only downside is not enough hours to enjoy how comfortable the bed is. Checked in past midnight and departed 7 AM. One upside is that restaurant opens 6:30 AM so I was able to have the complimentary breakfast offered to premium HHonors members. The bed was particularly nice, and the pillows were so comfy that we plan to buy similar pillows for our home. The hotel has a lovely indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. We arrived around Noon on Sunday, and while the official check-in time is 4 pm, the front desk staff did their best to get our room earlier - and we greatly appreciate their effort. While we did have to wait a bit - and we were well aware that we would have to wait - the wait was worth it; the room was clean and well-maintained, and the lobby itself was also in great shape. My husband and I booked this hotel for a trip to Manhattan two weeks ago. We had stayed there a few years ago when it was a Sheraton and we were able to use our air miles this time for a great deal - much more reasonable than a stay right on the island, as it also includes free parking and a shuttle to the train station. It costs $8.50 return on the train and in one stop you are at Penn station in the middle of it all. When we arrived they were unable to accommodate our king bed reservation at t... Read more

We chose this hotel because of the location to the MetLife Stadium. We stayed one night - the night of the Paul McCarthy concert. The hotel was booked solid but we only had a short wait to check in to our room. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable but the bathroom needs an update. The Hilton has a very large - free- parking lot. We drove to the concert - no trouble getting there or coming back. Overall this is a good hotel if you are going to the MetLife Stadium.

Three day conference in hotel: service was good, room was good, breakfast was good. However, the meeting rooms were 80+ degrees on two of the three days (of course, walking outside was then not so much a shock). Quite a shame there is no shuttle to the stadium.

The little things that aren't there add up. Stronger internet service...bottled water in rooms...any type of food service past 11 pm. When you have a sold-out hotel for an event at MetLife stadium, it would make sense to staff accordingly. Have more than one bartender on after the concert. Off sandwiches are light munchies after the concert. These are common-sense suggestions that would be profitable and make your clients happier.

We had an outlet falling out of the wall and some outlets did not even work. The bathroom vanity and lights were all rusty and there was no room for anything. The tub also filled with water when we showered. We had 3 people and only received 2 towels so I had to go to the pool area to snag some more. There was n... Read more

We held a women retreat and the hotel staff meet all expectations. In special recommendation to Jean Pierre that was our server at the restaurant. All was great the booking, the reservation and the acomodation openning additional rooms.

I have no complaints about the hotel other than it was a little dated and the bathroom was slightly dirty. Not quite what I was expecting for a Hilton, but it was an average stay. The "complimentary" shuttle service was not so accommodating. I called the hotel in advance and told them my train got in to Seacaucus station at 4:17 and that I knew the shuttle came at 4:15 - could it wait for a few minutes? The person whom I spoke to at the desk told me no, the shuttle comes promptly at 4:15. I... Read more

This was my second time at this hotel and I was not disappointed. We reserved a king sized bed room with a view and the view was amazing at night. The room was very clean and my only issue was that the sink only produced scalding hot water... never cold. Hopefully they fix that soon but besides that... I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here 8 nights - I didn't like that fact that to book seats on Shuttle Bus it was a case of first come first serve. The form was available from 5.30am. So to make use of shuttle service and make sure you want to use it you would have to be there early to put names on list. Not a very good idea if you are on vacation to make sure name gets on relevant time. Would it not be a better idea to have form available say from 8.30pm the night before so that families have the next tourist da... Read more

Not easy to access. Untrained staff. Does not warrant Hilton name. Too many other choices around to go back. Given incorrect room key as they were in the process of changing out locks. Slow response to correct error.

This is the second year that my friends and I have stayed in this hotel after a JETS game. The front desk is friendly (and even consoling) and the service and rooms are great. The hotel is clean, streamlined and extremely comfortable. The hotel restaurant is also fine. Great location, great price, free parking and wifi... who could ask for more?

We did called the hilton hotel and asked how to get to the met life stadium and an employee told us we can WALK to there or take a cab or a taxi. What happen after the game was the worst experience ever. Impossible to get to the hotel by walking. Uber or a taxi would cost over 40$. The thing is that the hotel is just across the highway. After coming back to the hotel the enployee told us it was IMPOSSIBLE to walk to the hotel. We paid over 300$ to have an hotel near the stadium and the experien... Read more

Lobby area is very updated and modern and the onsite Starbucks is an added blessing. Rooms seem to be updated, however the bathroom doesn't look like it was updated at all. Beds were just average but the main problem is this is one of those older hotels where you can hear the flush of a toilet or the run of the shower in the room above or next to you. Also, one of those hotels that you can hear every door shut in the hall-way. If going to an event, there is third party shuttle that will take... Read more

Very nice hotel to stay when visiting NYC. You can be in the city within 20 minutes by using Secaucas train station. Hotel has Starbucks and small restaurant. Breakfast is good here but food at night is not great. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms need upgrade.

I came here for a business conference. The room had a dirty carpet, outdated bathroom and furniture that was old and in need of repair. The view from the hotel room, however, was quite nice. When I checked in, I was asked for a few things (in terms of my room preference). The first person at the desk gave me the exact opposite of what I wanted. I returned and then got a room that had what I wanted, but again, it was not clean and it needed major updating.

Room was the size of a Motel 6, perhaps smaller. NO storage for clothes: no bureau, no dresser. Had to use suit case. Complained to Htl Mgr, received no rational explanation. Small bathroom, housekeeper took partially used hair products after first night and left NO new fresh ones. Did not make up room, had to request late in afternoon, locked door at 11am though promised a 1pm check out.

I just attended a business trip at the Meadowlands Hilton and the overall experience was good. The location to various restaurants and the city is perfect for the price without breaking the bank. The restaurant is very good as well as the bar area. You will have everything you need for a short visit. Vacation hotel, I would not recommend but for a business trip or overnight trip, I would recommend this hotel. Overall experience good!

Very nice for the money and parking there makes it so much easier than trying to drive into the city. Staff very nice. I would stay again. It does not have breakfast included which would be nice, but for the price you can go elsewhere.

They were very accommodating and nice. The hotel seemed clean and well kept. We had a city view room. Was a nice view. Was able to see the nyc skyline from our window. And was pretty close to metlife stadium and you could see it from outside the hotel. Took us about 8 mins to get to the stadium driving.

We stayed here twice. 11/4 & 11/22. The rooms are reasonable depending on when you stay. We have discount from our work and very reasonable. We got directions to get to the train to go to NYC and the staff were very accomodating.

I expected so much more from the signature "Hilton" brand. The rooms are probably 10+ years since they've seen a renovation of not more. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. The carpets were coming up in areas and dirty. The rooms are simply a joke. The common areas look great of course and the staff was really good. That's the only reason I gave them a 3. I'm a diamond member and won't return or recommend anyone stay in this sub par hotel.

Rooms are super clean, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The hotel is located across from Met Life stadium and downtown Manhattan. The hotel also has a great shuttle service to the attractions in the area. I had a Manhattan view room with a great view to the city. I enjoyed every moment of my stay, thank you for making our stay very memorable.
