We stayed here because it was a bargain. Big mistake. Even though we were in one of their newly refurbished rooms, it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The tv in the room next to our was blasting at 3am. Front desk said they would deal with it--but didn't. One elevator was iffy. Door lock card key didn't initially work. We checked out early and moved to the nearby (and more expensive) Westminster Hotel. Bonus: the grandkids loved the pool.

Okay overall would stay again because of location and price. Staff very pleasant. Carpets very dirty, room old needs updates. Bathroom vent doesn't work, and several areas in bathroom rusty, bathtub drain rusty. Overall would stay again because of location and price.

I would avoid this hotel, I arrived late, the hotel was ill kept and noisy up on the floors next to my room. After ten minutes in my bed I realized there bugs crawling all over me and my pillow- YIKES! I called down to the lobby to tell them, and they made me wait a very long time while they slowly found me another room. I have traveled for years all over the world and have never shared my bed with bugs as i had to in this place.

Stayed here only because of location, and would recommend you find another place to stay if you can. I'm not sure where to start. The worst part of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. Busloads of Chinese tourists were herded in and out during the two days I stayed here. Breakfast was a mob scene. The tourists pushed and shoved their way to get at the totally inadequate free food. If you like fruit loops and frosted flakes, you will love this place since that was the only cereal. I did not p... Read more

Got a discount rate to stay here one night on our way out east. Hotel was easy to access and the room was clean. Pull-out sofa bed was not comfortable, but they rarely are. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with eggs and potatoes, although there was no meet. Not top of the line, but not bad at all at a discount rate.

This is a value for money hotel.with no major pluses or minuses, the rooms are comfortable and clean, most staff were friendly and helpful, some were not. The breakfast could be improved by giving more choice.

I recently stayed at Fairbridge with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious, had a microwave and refrigerator, was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Check in was a breeze, staff was polite and helpful, and overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Serviceable but nothing spectacular. Perfect for a one nighter if you don't plan to spend much time in the room. Just a place to crash. Lots of shopping and places to eat nearby on Route 10. Shuttle available to/from hotel depending on the type of event and distance from the hotel.

The staff was very professional and pleasant, as well as the appearance. Once checked into my room (228), I noticed a bug walking on the chaise longue chair. Googled it and found it to be a Bed Bug, I contacted the front office, a staff member came up, and agreed to it being a bed bug after seeing a picture on my IPad. I was then told she had another room for me (411), we both inspected the bed, chair, etc. It seemed OK. At 3 am I awoke to 2 bugs biting me . I freaked out , my suitcase was alre... Read more

I stayed at this hotel several times over the years when it was a Ramada. The hotel hasn't changed at all since I first stayed there in the 1990's!!! My bathroom had a strange odor, the towels were like sandpaper ( obviously they don't use fabric softener ), no creamer or sugar in the rooms even though coffee was there. My friend had a hole in her wall behind the door. I couldn't open the door properly as the mechanism seemed loose. The included breakfast was poor in selection - if you want... Read more

The hotel needs to Update, rerenovate, exterminate entire faculty. clean bathroom and linens throughly. The hotel room had rocahes, there were stains on that sheets, mattress, walls, lamp shades. The toilet was filthy with a black ring inside. Room smelled of mildew. My husband and I plan to contact corporate and make them aware of these conditions.

I stayed at FairBridge Hotel and Conference Center, East Hanover, NJ for two nights. The hotel was easy to find. Nestled among several fast food and chain restaurants. Basic shopping in the immediate area. Adequate parking. Safe neighborhood. Exterior certainly not fancy but could use some sprucing up. The décor in the lobby is basically older and outdated (circa 1980's) but it appeared clean. Check in took a bit longer than normal but it appeared that they are using an antiquated system. Check... This hotel was recommended as part of an intern'l conference. We had to pay up front- should have been the tip off. Very neglected property. DIRTY hall ways, DIRTY ROOMS, towels were stinky & dingy. Second floor rooms had a strong smell of mould. Sheets of dry wall were leaned up against the hall way walls but there were no renovations being done! thankfully there were stores near by so bought our own towels. This hotel is a former Ramada inn. We stayed overnight on a Thursday en route to our actual destination. The hotel was easy to find and in a seemingly safe area near a Target store and some restaurants. Aside from some guests shipped in on tour buses, it was pretty quiet which is good because one of the two main elevators was not working. The free breakfast was of of below average quality but edible. The room was clean and comfortable though not new. Overall, we got what we paid for. I'd stay he... Read more

On my first night stayed, I notice the bathroom clogging when I bade, I reported it to the cleaners and to the front desk, who promise to send maintenance, but no one ever showed. My husband had to take a fork and take the stuff out from the drain hold (a lot of hair). We then showed it to the receptionist, and all they said was sorry.

On the surface this hotel "looked" great, but on further use and inspection the management could have made it so much better. We had three rooms at this hotel. Two of three had to call the front desk to get the TV to work, but they did get it working quickly. One room had a small "hidden" puddle of unknown source on the rug that never dried up in two days. The sliding door on one of the room's closet didn't work/slide. The privacy curtain on the window was torn, frayed and OLD, the towels shou... Read more

Despite a reasonable reputation prior to our arrival, we found the hotel dismal, with little or no lighting in the on-site carpark and no-one in attendance at reception when we walked in. It seemed creepy to be honest because for the first 10 mins or so we were the only human beings within sight. When the reception guy finally turned up (he'd been out the back somewhere) he didn't seem too welcoming ... just a one syllable remark here and there like ... "name" ... "ID" ... "credit card". We stayed here for one night in April of 2016. The electrical connection for the night tables was behind the bed and had an extension "box" plugged into it to make for more plugs. Every time the bed moved the lights flickered off and on. We pulled the mattress away to discover this box, right next to the mattress, with these loose connections...dangerous!! And as we had to also move the night table, we discovered used Q-tips and other nasty debris under there. The hallways and rugs in our room w... Read more

Edwin is a front desk staffer that in my many stays in various hotels is the only employee that told me that he likes to treat every guest like he would want to be treated. I can tell you that he means it. This hotel is a former Ramada that perhaps was not in the best condition when acquired and converted to the present day Fairbridge Inn. The key to a pleasant stay in this hotel is to request a renovated room. The standard equipment in the rooms of this hotel is not consistent but I can tell yo... Read more

This Hotel should not be open to the public. It's dirty everywhere. The bath had coucou roches, the pillows with dry food, the carpet smells. OMG i wanted to run from there but it was to late and we were to tired to go to another hotel. The people working there are super, they offered us another bedroom but it had the same condition, it wasn't their fault....this hotel is not a good option if you like clean places to sleep.

This hotel used to be a Ramada Inn. The hotel is used a lot by travel agencies who organize chartered bus tours to NYC because I guess the rates are low, but it is remote: one hour away (!) from Manhattan.
