I stayed here on a business trip. The entrance is a little confusing. Use the one on the bottom. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. They have a nice indoor pool area with games. The pool was closed for maintenance. There is a restaurant and bar on site. They do not have free breakfast.

This is our second year at this hotel for a softball tournament. The hotel is of average décor. It could use some updating. It is well worn (moldy shower curtains and drapes that won't close correctly). The breakfast is nice. I feel the staff are less than accommodating. They often respond to questions as though you are bothering them. It may be that they know there are limited options of hotels in the area so they do not feel customer service is necessary. I will say the maids do a nice job of... Read more

We had a room block for our softball team while they played at Diamond Nation (10min from fields). They were great from the beginning, Kathy Brandt the Sales manager was very helpful and accommodating. We were welcomed with open arms from check in. The hotel staff was friendly and rooms are very clean. We are at the restaurant the food was very good and had great service! The kids enjoyed the pool area. We look forward to our next trip in June! We stayed April 23 & 24, confirmation #64622159

If its late at night, and you're driving west on Rte. 76, as we were, and looking for an easy-on, easy-off lodging, this might do - if you don't mind smelly tap water! It was an average Holiday Inn otherwise, except for the water. Sketchy! We chose not to eat breakfast there for that reason (and also the fact that breakfast is charged extra).

Very elegant lobby. During our stay there were 2 weddings and a baseball team staying there. For the most part it was quiet. Only issue was when other guests stood outside our door at 3 AM visiting. The facility and staff are quite efficient in handling all those groups plus individual travelers.

Booked this hotel well in advance as part of a block for a family wedding. Only one of 2 rooms booked was ready. The staff at the front desk was completely harried. We were finally given a room on the 5th floor but had to walk around a food tray left on the floor to get into our room. The room's air conditioning was not working, and the room remained very warm and stuffy during our stay. We attended our event and returned after midnight to find several "Team Dads" in the second floor area drin... Read more

We wanted an overnight getaway since we were up in that area for a holiday BBQ with friends. The hotel was so convenient to that! It sure was a busy weekend since there was a little league tournament of families staying at the hotel ... we were looking forward to breakfast in the hotel's café ... sure do enjoy a buffet, HOWEVER, it was a bit of a free for all that we felt the hotel was not prepared for ... limited café staff on duty worked VERY HARD to try and keep up with replenishing the buf... Rooms were clean and nice. Great indoor pool and play area. The front desk girl was not super friendly. It was nice and quiet at night. Free coffee when you come thru the door. Nice laundry room. Would stay again.

Mike, who works at the office/front desk, was great. Not only did he help us find our way to the hotel after calling who knows how many times, but when we arrived at 10:30 at night, his help continued. The moment we arrived, Mike helped us register at the front desk, and then he helped us with our luggage. He answered any questions we had in a very polite and professional way, and just made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. I highly recommend staying here because the service ... Read more

The family stayed at this hotel for my sister's wedding a couple weeks ago. We were with our elderly mother, so needed adjoining rooms to be able to care for her. The process of booking the rooms was painful. My sister had a block of rooms set aside, and when my other sister called, the hotel said they couldn't find the reservation at all. When I tried, I was put on hold for 17 minutes (!!) in the evening, only to finally get someone on the phone who told me that I'd have to call back the n... Read more

I visited the hotel for a dog show. The show was held in the ballroom. The service all weekend was top notch. The manager Mike practically lived at the hotel. Anything that was needed for the show he had handled immediately. The grounds were lovely. There is a resident bear who can spook you when walking your dog, but he minded his own business. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is by far the BEST hotel restaurant I have ever eaten at. Bualis was so kind and always quic... Read more

On the road over 150 nights a year for our work, we hope for the best when we have few choices in the job site vicinity. We hit the jackpot with this place: it has it all. Room itself was spacious and immaculate with excellent linens and towels and amenities including a Keurig coffee maker and micro-fridge. (To note: when i spoke to the IGH reservations staff, I was told rooms do not have the latter without a charge. Our did and we did not pay more.) Shower control was hair-trigger but with good... Circa 1996 internet connectivity i.e. dial up modem (<1Mbps download, 2-3 Mbps upload), via the wi-fi, if you have booked a room when they are close to full. No help from the front desk, or IT, or Holiday Inn central, other than "lots of people are using the internet". No manager on duty to address the issue, just a bunch of kids that will, decidedly, not want to talk to you. Yep- the TV works. So, if tonight's show is the project that you are working on for tomorrow via handwritten notes, you w... Read more

The hotel itself was nicer than I expected from a Holiday inn. the room was clean, and beds were fairly comfortable. The tv and mini fridge were in good condition. I was a bit disappointed when I checked out the pool, as the liner was very wrinkled, and was only 3'8" deep. We had the breakfast buffet. we were told that they served until 10 am. We were there before 930am, and was told they were no longer making omletts. All the trays were empty, and when I brought it to the wait staff's attention... Read more

I got a good AAA discount. The room was clean. It had a microwave and refrigerator. I used the shampoo and conditioner provided, and my hair feels real soft. The bed was firm though, that was the only thing about the hotel I didn't like. Clinton was a quaint town.

When you stay at a mid-level chain hotel like Holiday Inn, you never know what you are going to get. Some are run down and other nice. This is one of the nicest Holiday Inns that I have come across. It is by no means a four-star hotel but it goes towards looking like one. The staff were friendly and the rooms spacious and clean.

This was the best Holiday inn I've ever stayed in. Starting with the Father's Day dinner and culminating with a ride to the impromptu airport ride coordinated by hotel manager Mike my time there was epic. I was there for a baseball tournament and ended up having one of the best experiences of a lifetime, which included a late night wiffle ball game in there spacious parking lot. I've stayed in hotel all over the world and this is my favorite!!! The amenities were top notch as was service from al... Read more

Was in the area on business, the common area & room were nice & clean. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good & was happy to find more than just a continental breakfast. But I have to say the staff for the breakfast was the least friendly of anyone in the hotel. I was given the impression that asking for an omelet each morning just quite a bother! Had a hard time working from the hotel as the wifi was quite slow & one evening was just completely down & I could not get on it at all. Th... Read more

About thirty people were given vouchers from United Airlines to stay at this place. I called them to ask them where and when we would be picked up. The lady who answered said she didn't know anything, and actually hung up on me. When we got there we were not greeted with smiles, but with faces that looked annoyed that they had to deal with us. I was given a key card to my room. Went in, and immediately left because one of the beds was not made. I was then given a key card to another room, ... Read more

Our organization books a yearly training class here and the facility and staff have never disappointed! I truly appreciate how the staff works with us when our schedules change, even when it's last minute! The food is great! The atmosphere is wonderful! We dined for dinner in the hotel resteraunt and our server (Boulis) was absolutely phenomenal. He was polite, prompt, and respectful. The food was delicious!! The only issue was the group of teenagers who stayed on our floor, and talked/slammed doors all ours of the night. The resteraunt was not to blame. ;)

With taxes, we paid just over $175/night for a mini-suite. The one-room mini was spacious, comfortable, clean, & quiet. The hotel is upscale with a large, modern lobby, lounge, indoor pool, etc. The staff is welcoming & friendly. The location is close to Clinton's small downtown (including several restaurants) and to Spruce Run Recreation Center. Breakfasts are extra -- not included in the room rate. This was my second stay at this Holiday Inn. Previously I'd had a great, big room. This time my room was much smaller and I could hear the TV next door the minute I walked in. There was a wait to get checked in - seemed things weren't all working. I ordered room service and it was delicious and I had great service. I used the pool, which is indoor. The problem was that it was supposed to be heated but it definitely wasn't. Also, there was a strange liner that made the floor surface unsteady, ma... Read more

Received vouchers valued at $75 to apply toward dinner in the Oase Restaurant onsite at this Holiday Inn. The chicken taco salad was awful. Four of us ordered this entree. Overcooked and rubbery chicken that all of us had to pass on eating. That's how bad it was. The chicken fingers were burnt. How do you ruin a baked potato? The waiter never returned to our table to ask how everything was. Not good food, not good service snd not recommended!
