This place is perfect for a week long trip to NYC. If you choose to stay down town (paying way too much $ for the privilege), you will realize that at 3am the city that never sleeps, REALLY never sleeps! Sirens galore will keep you awake and the convenience of being in the heart of the Apple will wear off. Lets be honest, if you;re visiting, your hotel is for sleep, shower, and bag storage. This hotel goes above and beyond. Close enough (bus stop outside to get you to the Port Authority. Include... Read more

I booked a room for myself and a room for my colleague for one night. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and relaxing. Each of the two rooms had a jacuzzi tub. Beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. There was a desk with a chair for doing work and a sliding side tray for working while sitting in the overstuffed chair. The bathroom was spacious. I found this to be a very nice place to relax for the night.

We stayed for a three nights, requested a quiet room on the upper floor (happened to be on the fifth). Nice big room currently renovated, more then enough pillows and extra covers if you need one. Continental breakfast is good selection - hot food station - eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, plus usual cereals, bagels and very modern pancakes making device, juices, coffee. Now on the cons side - location is OK for a person with a car (still probably taking bus to NYC, station is 5 minutes wa... Read more

Not as good as comparable Hampton Inns or Fairfield Inn brands. Hotel needs renovation. Business Center computer slow if not broken. Breakfast just good enough to get the job done. Beds comfy but room overall not appealing.

I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 days with my family. Even though this is far from city ,it's a good place to relax . Breakfast is good . Service is good. Rooms are big and clean. Bathroom is good.if you are willing to pay for Taxi this is a good option to stay away from busy life of city.Hotels close to NY and NJ are far more expensive so it's quite comfortable to spend for taxi for own comfort since travelling by bus is not very convenient for this place.

Stayed here for two nights in May 2016. The room is quite spacious, with a microwave, fridge and air conditioning. The location is quite good, about a 10 minute drive to Secaucus train station. Free breakfast every morning. The only faults from my stay are: - The air conditioning in the room was loud - The breakfast buffet ran out of fresh fruit 30 min before breakfast finished and they would not replenish it - Our shower bath would not drain water quick enough, so we were bathing our feet whil... This seems like an odd place for a hotel, as many of the properties surrounding it are empty, but it served our purpose as a convenient, affordable home base for a car trip to New York City. There is some highway noise, but as tired as we were from sightseeing, we had no trouble sleeping. In fact, my daughter moved into a wonderful dorm our first day here, and asked to come back and sleep in the "comfy" hotel bed that night. Our stay here was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. It had... Read more

Our laundry bag was in our room when we left for the NYC. Not there when I returned. The front desk more could not have seemed more blasé and unprofessional. Manager searched my room and my car. Still no bags of laundry. Worst service in 50 years of travel. Called corporate a woman listened to my story and promised to get back to me. she did not. Manager as rude a front desk people. Great hotel. Location does seem out of place since building surrounding it were vacant but for the price and ease to get to NYC it was great. Had a room on the 4th floor walls were a bit thin and the bathtub did not drain well. Bus stop to NYC was one block down and across the street (easy walk but some overgrown bushes were vacant buildings were). Round trip bus into NYC costs $9 per person. The hotel is easily accessed from RT 17. Check was quick and the front desk team was friendly. Hotel decor is modern and unlike other Holiday Inn Express locations this hotel is clean and well kept. The hotel features a continental breakfast, fitness center, pool and business center with an ATM. Our room was spacious with refrigerator, microwave oven, Kurieg coffee pot, kitchen cabinet and sink on a marble countertop. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past weekend & it was a great experience. The check-in/out was very simple & fast. The room was spacious & clean and came equipped with a microwave & mini fridge. There is also a pool & small fitness center that I didn't get to use as we were only there for 1 night. The best part was the free breakfast! There was a variety of things to choose from including egg omelets and pancakes. We will definitely return.

Stayed here on our way through to visit New York.. Rooms are clean and large.. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.. Breakfast was a very good start to the day.. We did have to take a bus into the city but it dropped you off right into Time Square at the port authority.. Just watch the later bus back as it fills up quick.. However met great people there and back on the ride.. Good stop over and would recommend especially if you have older kids..

Rooms are modern and to a good standard. Easy to find and free parking is a bonus. Getting to Manhattan is easy enough, bus stop is a short walk and journey takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic ($9 return ticket). Apart from an okay bar next door there's not a lot else near the hotel though.

Stayed here from the 5th to the 12th July with the family. So glad we did, as to get away from noise, and mayhem off New York City. Had a good nights sleep every night. Nice and clean hotel. Staff could not do enough for us. Always helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was just about right, enough to start the day. Until you get into the city. Even had the local bus timetable at hand so to get into NY.(20 minutes ish by bus, $9 return each day. ) The manager even sorted out a local taxi company to pi... Read more

Our new favorite hotel. Clean, modern, absolutely fabulous staff! Hotel??One of the best IHG properties I've stayed in and I'm a Spire member. Practically live in a hotel. The rooms were clean and great to sleep in. Front of the rooms have a view of the NYC skyline. Had fridge and microwave in the room. The whole property was well maintained. Hotel rooms were clean and had nice amenities, with a fridge and microwave and flat screen TV and nice desk, chairs and workspace. You don't want to know how I know or discovered it, but the smell of bodily functions when I entered the room should have told me something. But then again, the whole hotel smelled that way. Maybe I was just unlucky, but the front desk and the cleaning team didn't notice anything. But hey, they offered Holiday Inn points for my trouble. We chose this location primarily for ease of access to New York City. There is a bus stop just across the street. Buses run every 15 mins. or so to the Port Authority via the Lincoln Tunnel. The journey takes on average around 20 mins. Sure beats the hassle of driving in plus savings on tolls and parking makes it a real bargain. Hotel provides a customized timetable for this route.
