I have not been here for years, last time I was here I was not to happy. Last weekend we came down and wow what a difference. The place looked great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I even got to meet the manager Mike which was a down to earth nice man and very helpful. I always loved this place, and now I will be coming back this summer

The location is excellent but I'm glad I'm not a member there (home owner). The people are super friendly and they try hard but this place needs help. They give you everything you need and they have made an effort to make an impression. However, this place with 1 million invested in carpentry will make a difference. Unless there are structural issues and makes sense to slap things together so they make money. This hotel reminds me of Colombia or Latin America. It's good overall but if you look c... Read more

Greetings Readers, Salty here at the Jersey shore checking in on Uncle Croc who lives on Brigantine Island in a tumbling down beach house that has been home for decades. I can't stay at the place as the dust and mould are a bit much given the last time there was a serious cleaning was about 1971. So, I try and grab a room in one of the local flop houses. I have so far refused to do Airbnb for many reasons, which leaves me with a choice of La Sammana or The Brigantine Legacy. This year, I took a... Read more

We checked in and immediately saw a valet parking sign. Turns out they had a wedding and all of the parking lot was coned off for valet. We had to move a cone to park. Later when we left for dinner and came back there were NO spots available at all. Front desk was no help. We had to park in the street. So paying guests come second to visiting people. Cant wait to see this place in the summer. Fail.

We stayed at this 1924 hotel because it was convenient and allowed us to use 4 days coming to us as part of our timeshare. Because the staff was so amazing and accommodating, from the booking agents to the front desk to the manager I will plead the fifth as far as the actual building and it's issues. There is a very young manager who is working with very little in the way of repairs etc..you cannot beat staying right on the ocean though with a fabulous restaurant and entertainment next door. We always go to the Jersey Shore at least once in the summer. We decided to try something new and ended up here. We were happy to have found this spot! The hotel is old, but the staff is great and having an indoor pool was an excellent option- especially on a rainly day with a Pre-schooler who just wants to swim! We had a large studio which was perfect for our little family of 3. The kitchen was a nice change for us - previously at other places we have stayed we haven't had that option. Th... Read more
