The hotel looks okay, from outside but, it's not clean at all. The bathroom was disgusting, curtain was dirty and I believe this hotel should go out of business and stopped presenting a beautiful picture when is not. The Bed was uncomfortable and my friend and I had no choice but, to spend the night because, the weather was terrible but, we couldn't sleep and couldn't wait until daylight to leave. Travelers don't waste your money.

We traveled into Atlantic City to see Blues Traveler at Resorts and we wanted a place to stay for the night. Resorts was pretty pricey, and this place was right across the street and more than $100 less per night. I was a little leary, but our room was very clean and comfortable. I always check the mattress, I want to know what's under the sheets - it was clean. In fact, the mattress looked pretty new. The bathroom was clean. It wasn't plush, but it was pretty good for the price in Atlanti... Read more

Was about to head home after a few days stay stopped here and booked a room for one night to have a little more time away wast to to bad very small air conditioning worked pretty well if the room didn't smell so musty I would rate this higher all in all not bad for 60$! Would return for a last minute stay if I had a few of those tree things that make your car smell good but not stay for a week my clothes and bags reek of the room now

just came back from staying the weekend there. The first room we got had a door to the next room which was locked by one of those cheap locks that you see in tool boxes. The door was askew and everthing that was said or done in the next room we heard. The toilet tank had broken and was put back together with clear duct tape! The bed was about 15 inches from the floor. After we called, they said they would move us to another room the next day. The next room was in better shape and you couldn'... Read more

HORRIBLE never again!!!!! Got a piece of glass in my toe. The room smelled, outdated, sheetrock outside next to window. Room was right next to dumpster. If I didn't have company come to visit I would have checked out. Shady people in the room next to me...fighting going on.

We only stayed at the Downbeach Inn because we were not familiar with the area, and from the map, this property seemed convenient to the Atlantic City boardwalk, and was less expensive than the branded hotels (Caesar's, etc.). Interestingly, the name of this property had recently changed from the Rodeway Inn to the Downbeach Inn, so I wasn't able to find much info on the Downbeach Inn. After having stayed here, I feel the name change is to try to disassociate the property from the bad reviews l... Read more

We stayed just one night on August 20th, 2016. When we first went into the room, the musty smell was unbearable. The room was dirty. The refrigerator did not work. The light in the bathroom did not work. There was a hole where the smoke detector was suppose to go. There were bugs walking around in the bathroom. There was black mold on the walls. Never again. I am surprised that this place is even open to the public.
