We enjoyed the Girlfriend Getaway Package for my sister's' Birthday. A lovely experience from check in to check out. Room had comfortable bed clean nice walk-in shower. I called several times changing arrival time spoke with Connor and he was pleasant and accommodating. Had dinner and brunch at the restaurant. We did not have reservations for dinner but they had a lovely table arranged and we had our Cosmos and artisan cheese platter before dinner. Would highly recommend.

This was a lovely hotel choice for an overnight stay. We were flying out of Manchester, NH and wanted somewhere not too far away. We stayed in a lovely, clean and spacious room with comfy bed. Pleasant check in. We were only there for one night, but we enjoyed the room.

I booked the most inexpensive queen room available and it was great. Excellent bed and bedding, comfy chair. Nice bathroom with good shower with only ok water pressure. I had work to do and there was no light at the desk in the room. Excellent restaurant where I had top notch dinner and breakfast. 2 minutes from downtown Concord. Would be excellent Inn for getaway weekend to Concord area.

we found the room below average with dirty sheets and lots of dust. my daughter has allergies so was a disaster. to make matters worse, the food in the restaurant was average at best. i was very disappointed.

This lovely boutique hotel offers a restaurant and bar down the stair from your room. Very modern updates despite well preserved Victorian exterior.its within easy walking distance of downtown restaurants and Concord Coop. Selected rooms have roomy balconies for some al fresco cocktail hours. Restaurant has better food than you'd expect from a hotel restaurant and cozy bar therein is another plus.

Crawford is amazing as the bartender 3 days a week. The energy he creates is truly unique in the way he engages the customers making a visit to the bar a social event. he tailors his service to each individual guest and keeps me coming back on the nights I know he is behind the bar....

Loved this little gem. The front facade makes you feel like you are going home, not checking into a hotel. The check in experience was nice. The room was cozy but a very comfy bed, excellent shower and great room service. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My daughter and I stayed at The Centennial while visiting the University of New Hampshire Law School. The room was luxurious, the beds very comfortable and great service. I would definitely stay there again when next in Concord, VT.

We like to stay at the Centennial when visiting our relatives in Concord. The building is so appealing, it's so nice to drive up after a long day with the soft lights illuminating the building...very peaceful and serene . We stayed in the turret suite this time around. The room was lite upon entering and the robes were displayed on the bed with slippers, nice touch. Entering the bathroom there as no shampoo/conditioner,which we would need in the morning. Rather then wait until morning we called d... Read more

From the moment you pull into the driveway of this beautiful place, you know this is going to be a special stay! The gardens are lovely, and the brickwork and architecture is incredible. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the period touches such as narrow windows and built-in chest of drawers gave it a "back in time" feel. And yet the HG TV and clean, modern bathroom with walk-in shower gave it the comfort of a modern hotel. I was puzzled by the modern and somewhat surreal pictures th... Read more

We only stayed 1 night, check-in was fine no issues. The room was lovely, furnished nicely, renovated modern bathroom with shower (no tub). When we arrived in our room there were 2 bathrobes lying on the bed, turndown service, and a plate with 2 unwrapped cookies on the dresser (not sure if they were home-made or not, didn't look to be). The next morning as we were preparing to leave, my husband found a roach sitting on top of his suitcase. Needless to say we shook out all our clothes and ba... Read more

Only luxury hotel in Concord, NH. It's beautiful. Excellent service and amenities. I can't wait to stay here again. The view was great, the robes a high thread count. It is out of the downtown, so there aren't many transients roaming around.

The mansion was the place we were most excited about staying in on our vacation to New Hampshire. With that said.....we were sadly disappointed in the hotel guest services. The man who was at the front desk was curt and extremely unwelcoming. I was shocked to say the least because of the wonderful trip advisor comments. Check out wasn't much better. Not sure what was going on but everyone seemed a bit stressed, even the restaurant lady was curt, while i was checking out my husband was just looki... Read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. While there were some positive points for us including a good breakfast and the location of the hotel in proximity to the wedding event, there were more negative points to note which made our experience an unfortunate one. The front desk staff could not help us getting some clothes pressing done or get us a taxi. In each case handed us the number of a cleaners and a taxi company. We could not get a cocktail delivered via room service... Read more

I cannot believe the high ratings I have seen on this hotel. My recommendation is to stay far away from this place. This past weekend my husband and I attended a family wedding which 80%+ of the hotel was occupied by out of town guest-coming from all over the country-and the entire wedding party. The staff was rude to all of us the entire stay. The people at the front desk would not smile or even look up when you approached them to ask a question and when you did get their attention - they we... Read more

The hotel looks good on the web but is actually quite tired inside and out. We stopped for one night because of how it looked on the web and for the dining experience in the hotel's Granite restaurant at which I reserved for two when I made my hotel reservation. I received a welcome email several days before we arrived. No mention was made that the restaurant was closed for renovations for four days. We received this news when we checked in and the clerk was only mildly interested that we were d... Read more

This is a very nice hotel. Pleasant ambiance in an old mansion. Really comfortable room. There was no coffee maker, which seemed a bit strange. I've been in two star hotels and five star hotels and all have had a coffee maker. So what gives? Both the room and the hotel were chilly. Some may like this, I don't. Fifteen minutes brisk walk gets you to a pleasant downtown with some wonderful granite buildings. The "State House" is a must see. We had the place (The State House) to ourselves and cou... Read more

Upon arriving at this hotel we could not figure out where the entrance was because there are no signs and it's not obvious at all. We drive around to the "back" near the dumpsters and asked an employee who was in the parking lot where to enter. She pointed and said "around front." We unloaded our suitcases in the parking lot, lugged them to the steps out front and hauled them up the steps, and into the "lobby?" No one there. Found a desk with a less than friendly "hostess" who checked us in. Dea... Read more

Built in the nineteenth century as a home for Civil War widows and restored in the late 20th century as a fine hotel, this property just a few blocks from the state capitol and downtown shops is a great choice for an overnight in Concord. Our spacious room overlooking the front lawn featured a turret.

Very convenient to the shops of downtown Concord and the Capital. Rooms are nicely done and the hotel has a great atmosphere. Staff are courteous and helpful. Reputed to contain the best restaurant in town. Unfortunately it was under repair the night we stayed. Very close to Main Street district. Easy access and parking. Worth a stay if you are in the area or passing through.

I stayed in a large king bed room on the third floor. The building is beautiful and the hotel could be amazing but needs a little help. Concord is a small town... there isn't much to do and not a lot of traffic there. This hotel has no on site maintenance from what I can tell and housekeeping is not present in the evenings - this is not concierge level service if that is what you want. There is a front desk worker in the evenings, not sure what other staff after the restaurant and bar close.... Read more

Helpful and obliging staff. Resonably large room on the third floor well appointed but no in-room coffee making facilities. The room 302 suffered from some continuous low level noise from an adjacent fan or ac plant...not overly intrusive and for myself and wife our sleep thankfully was not interrupted. The wash hand basin plug would not seat properly but that was easily addressed by self. Annoyingly the shower screen leaked resulting in a small pool of water forming in the centre of the tiled b... We love old buildings but also love new mattresses, renovated bathrooms and plenty of space. This was both at a bargain price. No smoke smells, AC and ceiling fan, comfy chair and ottoman, good lighting. Only complaint was open WiFi with no password.

The staff is very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The hotel is in an older building. The bathrooms are modern and fairly large for an older building. The bedrooms need upgrades especially the linens and curtains and blinds. The hotel is quiet. It is a comforable hotel.

We stayed for 1 night in a deluxe King room . This old building has been converted into a modern hotel. Our room was modern and spacious. Air con worked a treat on a warm day, along with this we had a very comfortable bed. The rooms are equipped with good working wifi, iron, hair dryer and a nice powerful shower. We had good quality bar food, with gorgeous wine, served by a really helpful barman. The next day we headed into town for breakfast at Tuckers, give it a go, it's really good. Really ... Read more

I‚??d recommend it. It‚??s Victorian and a pleasant alternative to the generic. Our reservation was booked last-minute via an e-service and hadn‚??t arrived by the time we checked in a half-hour later, but the staff accommodated us. The Centennial Hotel is located just on the outside of the downtown area around the State House, but within walking distance for most people. It is a remodeled house (as shown in the pictures on the website) that has been updated with modern features. We had the king turret suite which included a roomy balcony with an outdoor sofa and chair. Hot cider on arrival quickly followed by complimentary coffee and homemade biscuits was a great start. The rooms are spacious and modern yet in keeping with the age of the building. Two queen sized beds, free wi-fi, great bathroom, comfortable beds and a great restaurant make it a really great place to stay.

We spent but one night here, and came away very impressed. From complimentary coffee and cookies on arrival to a very comfortable and spacious room. I had arrived in Concord, NH on a Saturday morning at approximately 12:30AM EST. Every Hotel/Motel in town was completely full as the Fall colors were at their peak. I was told there were no rooms available in town with the possible exception of the Centennial Hotel. Due to the lateness of the hour, miscommunications concerning directions coupled with Main Street having been made into a one-way thoroughfare at its most heavily traveled portion I did not find the property until after 3AM.
