Front desk personnel were very accommodating when we arrived with the check-in process and recommending a good place to dine. We were very pleased with the accommodations ( clean, refer and microwave, great bed, pleasant décor) following a rewarding drive through the California mountains and the desert. We'd come back here again.

The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty which included fresh cut pineapple. The carpets were clean and well kept... There was Keurig Coffee in the room and a nice selection of tv channels. Conveniently located.

This place was great for my family. They gave us a great deal since I'm active duty military. The room was great and the service was very good. The breakfast was good but my daughter couldn't eat the eggs since they contain milk and she can't have normal milk only soy milk. Not common so not blaming them.

Great location and rooms. More important the hospitality of staff was fantastic. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. They welcome you with a smile and are always eager to help. The cookies in the evening do not go amiss either

Stayed for the weekend and had a blast! The front desk staff were very friendly. Clean rooms, pool and a hot tub, fitness center and free wi-fi and to our surprise there was a Casino! One of Nevada's best Mexican restaurants if you like Mexican food. Will stay here again next time we are in town.

Easy access off I80. Very responsive staff, whether the front desk, breakfast staff or housekeeping, everyone was helpful and very professional. Clean and quiet rooms despite its proximity to I80. Nice to have fridge and microwave in your room. Just what you would expect in a Holiday Inn Express! Would stay again if traveling through the area.

Friendly front desk service, with fresh cookies in the afternoon. Very clean and well kept property with an indoor pool. Beds were comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast- the eggs were terrible. The cinnamon rolls were good but I would prefer a wider selection of healthier options. In spite of this, still probably the best choice for a hotel in Winnemucca. Would stay here again.

Great people, great service. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast. No problem allowing our 110lb Rottie to stay. Goodness gracious 200 characters about a Holiday Inn in the desert? Located close to I80, no road noise.

We choose Holiday Inn Express as much as possible because their free breakfast is better than most other hotels. I LOVE the cinnamon rolls and everything is always fresh! The pool and hot tub were nice with appropriate temperatures for indoor pools.

I had never heard of Winnemucca, NV until recently. I'm still not entirely convinced how to pronounce it. But it is a friendly stop-- one of the only stops-- in the heart of Northern Nevada. This particular Holiday Inn Express fits the mold: the branding is everywhere. The front staff is very chipper (they even called before bedtime to ask if I needed anything). As members of the points program, we were treated to little baggies with chips and bottled waters. My kids used and loved the pool and ... Read more

This was a wonderful hotel. The accommodations and all the staff were excellent. Even had a friendly casino attached and a Mexican restaurant. The room was very clean and the breakfast was well done along with a pancake making machine. Would give it more stars, but those are reserved for the high priced, five star resorts. You can't go wrong with a stay at this Holiday Inn.

The Bly time we stop in Winnemucca is on a long road trip. The Holiday Inn Express is what you expect, although expensive considering where you are. I have stayed in nicer HIEs, this one seems a little tired. Employees were very nice. The Mexican restaurant was very good which is attached to the hotel ( very good enchiladas and margaritas). The little casino is just slot machines.

We needed it after a long day of driving. The road in from the north to the south is a long one. Some would say it was boring but I enjoyed the scenery and the coyote who crossed the road in front of us and then looked back. The hotel had good beds, was clean and had a friendly staff. The breakfast was better then average though the room was packed at 6:30 am. A little too small for the early morning crowd. Mostly from Oklahoma, I think. They were there to play at the casino. Bottom line: sl... Read more

Arriving at this hotel in severe pain after a bad fall at a previous hotel. I was greeted by a delightful front desk receptionist by the name of Liliana Mendez. She was sweet, kind, and EXTREMELY helpful. The service, the attractiveness and cleanliness of the lobby should have prepared me for the room. I had a standard double queen room. However, it was large, well appointed and the beds extremely comfortable. When I asked for an extra blanket, I got a QUILT! The toiletries provided are from Bat... Read more

I come to Winnemucca every month for work and always bring one of my kids. This hotel and its staff are amazing. The rooms are clean and quite, the pool is indoors and available year round, and the breakfast is healthy, delicious and full of variety. The Staff is even better. They treat you as family and are genuinely concerned about your comfort and happiness. Having tried other spots in town this is the only one I will use.

Enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express - the rooms were clean and the staff quite friendly. Vivian was very helpful when we checked in and recommended we try the restaurant, Dos Amigos, which was also very good. My only complaint is geared toward some of the guests... children playing with the elevator, someone yelling down our hallway at night, etc... but all things beyond staff control.

One motel had no pool or laundry, one motel had no pool & one had no rooms at all, so we came to this Holiday Inn! So glad we did! We had to take a suite as it was the only one left! Super nice staff! One lady went out of her way to get me quarters for the laundry. Room was beautiful, clean & comfortable with a king size bed, a pull out for the kids & a Jacuzzi. Nice pool & hot tub! Great breakfast choices. Will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Nice building, nice view, nice workers. Our room AC worked fine all afternoon, but then about 5:30pm, it began blowing warm air. It worked intermittently for the next two hours. I went down to complain/switch rooms at about 7:30pm and waited in line behind people checking in. The front desk worker told me she would be up in a few minutes. At 9pm, the AC seemed to be working again and she had not come up yet, so I went down again. She apologized greatly because she had been very busy. She ... Read more

I don't think many people make this hotel their destination other than it's convenient when on a long road trip. There is a Mexican restaurant, free breakfast in the hotel, it's clean and safe. I only saw families in this hotel. The hotel parking lot is well lit and safe. No one will bother you in this hotel. If you need a safe and clean place to stay in the middle of nowhere, this is the place. I didn't see Mother Mucca though...

When we checked in, we were assigned a room but, when we got to the room, housekeeping was still working on it. I went straight back to the front desk; but, before I could talk to the young lady, she received a phone call from housekeeping telling her the situation. As she was giving me the keys for another room she told me that her computer showed the original room as ready for occupancy. Was quoted a price at check in. Got the bill under door in morning and it was $40 higher. We could hear everyone above us waking around and every door slammed. Despite a mix up in when we were going to be there , they had a room - One thing though , Holiday Inn should have a system to keep you from booking a room 300 miles from the room you are staying in on the same night! We drove about 7 hours to find we'd booked our room for the night before when we were in Bend! Oh , well .. Breakfast was ready a full hour before the stated time , we usually get up early , and hope for coffee and a muffin , got down at about 5:15 AM , and found everything was read... Read more

This property is a little older and less spiffy than a typical Holiday Inn Express, but it is clean, spacious, well furnished, and reasonably priced. The side away from the highway may be better, but our room was dark and quiet. And of course breakfast was typical HIE fare - good.

According to the reviews, I read this place was supposed to be a four- star motel. It would have to stretch to be three stars. The first impression is an "institutional" smell in the lobby and eating area. Maybe it's because the pool is right there but whatever the reason it is very off-putting. The rooms are very difficult to access. On the plus side the pillows were good as well as the bed and there were enough towels. If I pass through here again, I will look for something else.

100 plus nites on the road for me and HonorDOG Major. This one was not like all the others. I've got a minor disability so had a ground floor room. Room 116. The toilet was like using one on your first dates parents house. Flush and water keeps spinning. And spinning. Not a large deposit just liquids. Hold the handle down and pray. Water rises. Maybe it goes down....maybe it won't. Aside from this feature we found some roommates that we assume got a better rate. Ants.
