"Checked in to a nice upgraded room. Opened the window for a moment and it broke and we couldn't close it. 40 degrees outside. Took 45 minutes for someone to come to fix it. In the meantime we discovered there was no heat in the unit as it was the locked out room in a bigger unit where the heater controls were. We asked to move and were moved to a unit that had heat and controls. This turned out to be in a building under renovation which was terribly outdated but did have heat that made a strange noise all night. Definitely not worth returning to this property. A terrible experience."

"Hotel was beautiful but room was incredibly stuffy. No A/C, the sump cooler hardly made the room cool - the only time we could get air was to have the door open. Incredibly hard to sleep, could never get comfortable. Immediately after stepping out of shower, you were sweating again. I will never stay here again."

"We booked this location for the 10 out of 10 reviews it recieved. The directions on their website were incorrect. We drove up the mountain and down the mountain looking for the streets on the directions. We called and asked for better directions. The front desk employee also gave us incorrect directions. We stopped to ask at a restaurant. We arrived at 10:30 pm and the front desk is closed. The security person had us sign the forms, wrote our room number on the parking pass, did not tell us. We asked what building or room we go to. No pamphlet or map of the complex was provided. Apparently the pool is in the clubhouse and was also closed. We opened the door to our room to find a dirty room. We found the site's pamphlet that the previous visitor had received and it showed he checked out 2 days before. The telephone numbers on the phone to call the front desk, concierge. manager, housekeeping were worthless, since no one was there. The mgr # had a voice message to press 0 for any immediate issues. This transferred us to the securtiy booth. We were then given a 2 room suite with a view of a barbed wire cyclone fence surrounding a tennis court and basketball court, not exactly the ridge view I was expecting! took photos of the dirty room to show the manager in the a.m. They gave us $30 vouchers for a breakfast at the deli. When I asked the front desk manager for compensation her answer was 'we gave you breakfast and a upgraded room, what more do you want?' I was taken back by her statement. Their front desk hours were unclear. I would NEVER recommend this site for anyone. The 2 room suite we were given was very outdated and worn cabinets bathroom outdated. An attempt to have a 2 headed shower meant the first shower head was chin high and the second was chest high. That will not work for the average height guest!!! The employee at the front desk, was very apologetic the following morning. The attitude of the manager was surprising. We never saw any of the views which were shown on the website."

"The only problem we had was 1 sleepless night.There were unidentified loud noises every 15-30 minutes all night long. We complained to housekeeping the next morning. They had engineering check it out. They said they found nothing,but the noises went away."
