"This is a high-end class resort. They offered to upgrade for a low price which we took. Then, when we found our assigned room is disrepair they upgraded us further (at no additional charge) to a suite with kitchen and fireplace. This is the slow season but the pools were open and in good shape. Located 10 miles north of Lake Tahoe with lots of walking and biking trails. This is definitely one of our favorite places to stay as we pass through from Seattle to the Palm Springs area."
