My husband and I are in the process of moving back to the US from Costa Rica. We had been through a few stressful weeks as we sold our house and flew to the US with our 2 small dogs, and we were worn out. The entire staff at the Reno Homewood Suites was incredibly helpful and welcoming, ensuring that we had a peaceful and relaxing stay. They did all they could to accommodate us. From the house keeping staff to the kitchen staff to the maintenance folks, all were wonderful. But especially ... Read more

As other reviews have stated, the location is in a quiet business park but lacks signage so was a little hard to find. The outside appearance and updated lobby led us to believe room 421 would be in better shape than it was. The color scheme is bright and cheerful and the bedding and curtains have been redone. The sleeper sofa was very low to the ground and the upholstery was somewhat worn. The carpeting had an open seam that needed repair and there was no door to the sink portion of the bathroo... I found this location, when I needed to stay in Reno,NV, for 1 month, a couple of years back. Since then, I always stay at the Homewood Suites In Reno. I prefer to get away from constant noise of the casino's, and smoke. Parking is great, and it's not far from anything else if you have a need. Great job to all the staff. Thank you, Amy

As overly picky as I can be since I travel so much this place impressed me which is saying something:) I was able to make my own breakfast picking up some cooking spray, eggs and oatmeal at the local Trader Joe's, made me feel like I was home.

A free breakfast is offered daily and is so much more than donuts and coffee, yesterday it was omelets with sausage and potatoes, today it was french-bread sticks scrambled eggs and bacon. It is less than 1/2 mile off the freeway in a very quiet business neighborhood. Many restaurants and stores within a mile. We travel with our dog and this was a great place for him.
