Service was very good, at the pool and in the restaurants. Food was ok, nothing special. Shuttle Service to Las Vegas has to be booked a couple of days in advance, otherwise its fully booked. Uber does drive there, though might take some time.

The Westin could use some fine tuning except for: Great service from Amber PM F&B Manager, Gloria AM server and Guy the DJ. So much for a relaxing weekend the fire alarm went off both days at 5am. the last night party goers till 2am I called front desk twice because it was so bad we couldn't sleep. It was so back we just left the hotel at 4am. The beds were not as comfortable as I remember them being. It was hot, but we didn't care. The Westin had cold drinks poolside and full-service cabanas to rent for the day. My husband and I have been to Vegas many times, always staying on the strip, but last October we found this area, staying at the Hilton property next door (not as nice as the Westin), and loved the quiet of the place. We don't really gamble, but we love to eat great food, explore the desert, and have access to fun day trips. We traveled to Hoover Dam, Death Valley, and Red Rock Canyo... Read more

The property is beautiful- grounds are well kept. This is our second stay. Rooms need some attention, a little dated. This time we ate at the breakfast buffet at Rick's Cafe - our server for the 3 days was Gando and he was fabulous! IExtremely attentive, friendly and happy. In fact all the servers seemed happy and were very friendly. Love the beautiful pools and the fire pits at nite. Love to walk around the LLV area and look forward to returning.

Evidently this property has been previously a Hyatt and Lowes and kept thinking it was more like those brands than many of the Westins we have enjoyed staying at. Example: the Heavenly Bed appeared to have the linens without the comfy mattresses we remember. Didn't eat on the property as restaurants were quite pricey. Much enjoyed kayaking on the Lake in the morning, which was include in the resort fee

We stayed at this property for a conference. The rooms are basic but clean. The property is gorgeous with plenty of amenities to choose from. The on site restaurant that we ate at was very slow. My wife didn't want anything spicy so the waiter recommended a different sauce for what my wife ordered. When she received her food, the sauce was more spicy than my siracha sauce. The water glasses were very small so the waiter had to keep refilling our glasses (about three times more than if they were ... Read more

We stayed here for the weekend to get a quiet respite before attending a convention at Mandalay Bay. It was nice to be off the strip and in a NV hotel without a casino, but the hotel was pretty well worn, there was not a lot to do and the service was mediocre. Lake Las Vegas seems to have been intended to be an upscale community in Henderson. It was clearly ravaged by the burst of the housing bubble. Pretty much all businesses in the immediate area are shuddered and housing developments that... Read more

Having had honeymooned in Vegas, we know it's a loud city that never sleeps. So when we celebrated our anniversary there, we opted to relaxation over night life. With breathtaking views of the desert, its own lake for kayaking, trail, indian flare decor, and gorgeous pools and grounds - we knew the Westin Lake Las Vegas was the perfect choice. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Drive to the strip was short and doable.

Zoe told us all about the property and gave us all the inside tips and advice on how to make the most of our stay. We are Vegas locals, traveled here for a "stay-cation" with the family. We went to get out of town for the night and to see their fireworks show (July 3rd) for Independence Day. Was hoping for a relaxing evening, and a nice place to hang out and enjoy some downtime. We thought this place would be nice, pictures looked awesome and the price certainly seemed like it should be a fairly high-end place. Booked a great deal on Priceline for an overnight stay to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The Good: Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities and prime lakeside location. Friday night there was live music, fire pits in front of the lake and an outdoor movie by the pool. Negatives: Hotel was very busy because of a dance competition, resulting in long waits for the front desk. Our AC wasn't working in our room upon arrival. Called maintenance and they were there within 5 minutes to fix it. The ... Read more

I wanted to avoid the hustle and bustle of the strip so thought of doing something different. I booked through a third party and followed that up with a call to find out what my room would be and if they could have champagn... Read more

We were on a family roadtrip and wanted to see Vegas but wanted to stay at a more family friendly place. The hotel and grounds are gorgeous. The two pools and slide are sufficient and beautiful. Lot's of sun chairs. There's free kayak rentals to see the lake. Shuttle service to the Strip is available. Breakfast buffet a bit pricey but tasty. Now for the buts... It is very tiring that at practically every step they try to get more money out of you. 1. There's a $29/day resort fee added to your ... Read more

Just so dissappointed. Although the grounds of this property are gorgeous, the room and hallway of the floor we were on was filthy. We were visiting with an infant. We could not put the child down. We spilt water on the carpet. When we dabbed it out with a towel, the towel was disgusting. We had to put the spare blankets & towels on the ground to walk around. The "blackout" curtains in our room were FULL of HOLES. The Starbucks on the property is a joke. Coffee is not ever close to Starbucks qu... Read more
