Very disappointed. Needs a remodel very badly. Carpet and wall paper in hallways ripped up, tile in bathroom gross, chip in porcelain in bath tub, and restaurant was just given a dirty spoon review on local TV. ??????Tried to change hotels but could not get out of non refund reservation. Price for this was really out of line.

Great place to stay if you do not want the hustle and bustle of the strip but very close. Clean room. Staff was helpful at all times. There is a enterprise car rental agency, very convenient if you want to rent a car. Casino floor is smaller than most hotels. I will come back, price is right.

I attendeded a conference at the convention center in March 2016 and because the booking was last minute, I couldn't find a hotel near the venue. The Westin was a great alternative. It's one block from the monorail station to the convention center so I had a relaxing ride to and from the conference (about 10 minutes from my room to the convention center). It's also just a block from the strip--walking distance to the Flamingo and Caesars. The hotel is great if you're tired of the mega resorts ... Read more

I always try to stay at Starwood hotels whenever I travel. I got a good price and since it is only a block and a half walk off the strip I decided to stay here rather than on the trip where prices were much pricier. There is a casino in the lobby which had a couple of blackjack tables with $5 minimums. The room was typical Westin room, all good. Pool is small but sufficient and staff were really friendly. My only real complaint was the wifi was terrible at the pool. Had a good piece of prime rib... Read more

We stayed there for two nights in over the weekend. The location is great, even though not directly on the strip it's just a block away, and close to all the major casino hotels on the strip. Being a platinum SPG member a room upgrade to suite would've been nice, but we were satisfied with the standard room in terms of the typical comfort you would expect.

If you don't want to stay on the strip this is a great hotel to stay in as it is only a 5min walk to the strip to Bellagio, Caesars etc. rooms are a nice size and it doesn't have a huge gambling area (which we liked). Staff are really helpful and there's a Starbucks in the hotel.

The Westin Las Vegas is a gaming hotel off the Strip. It is an older property and is in need of renovation but a nice choice if want to stay off the very busy Strip in a more low-key hotel. I was here for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. The room was nice with inviting and comfortable bedding. Bathroom was nicely appointed and good toiletries. This is a typical Starwood Westin hotel, and that is a good thing. The casino is small but inviting. Their only restaurant offers a good variety... Read more

I love the fact that this Westin is not on the Strip yet not that far. Just about 4 minute walk from the Flamingo and other hotels. The room we got was on the SPG floor. We were on the 17th floor, in a suite and the noise was constant, loud and never ending from all the outside sources known to mankind. Take note. The staff here are very hospitable. This is a good property if you don't want the hustle and bustle of the center part of the strip. Quick access to the Monorail and the High Roller. Glad they are refreshing the property as it doesn't have much of a style to it (like room decor is rather bland and there is no theme). This was the only property I could find that was reasonable on a weekend when, due to 2 conventions in town I couldn't find anything else that was not either overpriced or a dump. What a great discovery! The Westin is a great property right in the middle of everything-- 2 blocks to Caesar's Palace or the Bellagio. It has a pool, and most amenities and the rooms are very nice. Stayed in The Westin for 5 nights and i cannot praise it enough. Absolutely fab location one block from the middle of the strip, we walked everywhere! The hotel itself has lovely friendly helpful staff, a great breakfast buffet..and fantastic air conditioning which was needed in 40degree heat (day AND night!!) The pool area is compact but it was always easy to get loungers even in the middle of the day and it is a very peaceful relaxing environment. Major thumbs up all round!

Myself and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for honeymoon. Ok it does not have the prestige or glamour of staying at a hotel on the strip however we have no complaints. Cross the road go through Bally's food court and you can be outside Paris and Planet Hollywood hotels on the strip within 7 mins. Clean room and helpful service. Champagne and strawberries on arrival for honeymoon.

Beautiful building and setting, very close to the main Vegas strip. Furniture and beds not as expected from this class of hotel. Our stay coincided with some Constuction happening on the 11th floor, nevertheless we were offered a room on the 9th floor, jackhammer does not sound good in the morning. Took some convincing to get an other room, we were also then treated to breakfast.

The Westin in Vegas is a good business hotel but lacks the character of some other hotels. Functional, well priced, great breakfast and friendly staff makes for good business hotel. But pool isn't great and no proper spa (there is a salon though) would have me looking else where for a romantic or family break. There is no wow factor. Absolutely appalling noise in the room either above or beside me. My company brings people here all the time and we've made a lot of complaints about the renovations going on. It's not difficult, just don't give out rooms next to where renovations are happening. It's surely a small price to pay to avoid the bad publicity. A heavy drilling noise has been going on for ages, it's maddening. Hotel staff just say "your company knows about it".
