"We stayed at the Bella Suite in Venetian Hotel. It is a long walk from main lobby to the room. Room is big and cosy. We love the interior decoration of the hotel. It is very nice and beautiful. It is also connected to the mall. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Venetian hotel very much.
One comment for improvement is to have coffee/tea facilities provided in the room.
To also provide guest with complimentary slippers as the marble flooring is COLD.

"Other than having a maze of endless corridors to navigate, and three different elevators to ride before we had access to our floor ,and then another seemingly endless walk to our room, plus one sleepless night of never ceasing noise from the room next door, our stay at the Venetian was awesome. "loved our stay but were surprised when we arrived with a wedding party that our room was in the Venezia Tower - must say that the service and staff were amazing but the ELEVATORS and Map to get to our room was ridiculous - we had to get the lobby elevator to go to the Venezia Lobby long walk from there to a second elevator which only went up to the tower followed by another VERY LONG walk to the third set of elevators to our floor - then yet another walk to get to our rooms. I know that the hotels are big and we knew that there would be a lot of walking but this convoluted path was bad. The rest of the family and friends were all in the Ventian Tower which was not as difficult, I guess our tower was built after the main towers where already in place. If i were to go again i now know to check if our room was in the main Venetian Tower.

"The hotel was great except for the poor Internet supply. My package allowed me to have unlimited complimentary Internet service but 80% of the time I couldn't connect! I reported it to the front desk several times including checkout and was told that Internet reliability depended on where in the hotel my room was located! "The best thing about this hotel was the room and the concierge desk (I wish I could remember her name, she was awesome!) otherwise I wasn't impressed. The front desk staff was NOT personable in the least, as a matter of fact the graveyard shift staff was rather snippy. I was vertually a single guest (my aunt only stayed 2 of the 6 nights) so I only needed service 3 times. The housekeeper kept forgetting to leave hand and face towels. Also I had made the mistake of taking things out of the service bar to place a couple of my items inside. When the bar staff came in to look into fridge she actually snapped at me... WOW! Next time I will stay somewhere else. "

For the price you can't beat the size of the space you get. Beds were very comfortable and 2 sinks in bathroom was useful. The pool area was very large, lots of sun beds with foam padding, a great poolside cafe with excellent food. The only thing I didn't like was that you could hear the music from Tao Beach - great if you're young I guess, but all that bass booming around you while lying by the pool elsewhere in the pool area was annoying. Other than that, had a fabulous time."

"Beautiful resort, but very large. We enjoyed ourselves so much, seeing the whole resort and the shops, that we got lost. A very nice security guard escorted us to the lobby where we were able to get back to our room. The staff as a whole was very attentive and very friendly, from check-in to check-out. "I did not like the idea of extra fee of $44 upon check out. When I asked why, I was told is for using things like gym, internet etc. Is ridiculous since I didn't even know where the gym was or use the internet! The lady I talked to about it was rude and she told me to 'find other cheap hotels in the strip' Don't you think after pay about $200 you deserve at least a decent breakfast?"

"We were given a free upgrade to the Venezia Bella Suite. Our friends had an
adjoining suite which was lovely. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room after a day of shopping. We especially enjoyed the big well appointed bathroom allowing 2 to get ready at the same time. The Venezia is within walking distance of the Fashion show
shopping mall and in the center of casinos and theatres. It is confusing to find your way around and the similarity of the names Venezia and Venetian towers is even more confusing. The staff were very helpful."

"We arrived at the Venetian around 9:00pm (worn out). We stood in a line up for check in for 1/2 hour. Finally when we were served, my friend mentioned how long we had been waiting. Our customer service rep said that the hotel was having a large amount of guests checking in that evening (in a snit). If that was the case, why was there not a lot of reps working the check-in counter??? So finally checked in, we asked how to get to our room. She pointed and said go through those doors and you'll come to the elevator. We followed her advice, found 3 elevators, checked them out and found that they just went up one flight. We turned around and went back to the service rep to ask for further directions. I wish she had mentioned that we had to go up one floor then follow that floor around until we could find other elevators to be able to get us up to our room.
The hotel room was absolutely fabulous, the cleaning staff did a marvelous job.
We had a beautiful red haired girl who served us at the pool. She was so kind and friendly. She made up for the initial experience on the check-in rep.
So we did have some wonderful experiences with your staff and some not so wonderful experiences (but that is life).
I would never stay at this hotel again as it takes 10-15 minutes just to get to the main lobby. Whoever designed this casino just did not take into consideration the people trying to get around, people who were disabled, etc. The casino is beautiful to see and appreciate but is definitely not USER FRIENDLY...."

We had joining rooms with another family member, so we used their safe. Walking to our room became exhausting by the second day (we had to get on two elevators each time)but i believe most hotels are about the same. "Luxurious hotel, beautiful suite attention to every detail in the accommodations. Great location (not in the center of the strip but close enough to most of the points of interest in the strip ( the Mandalay bay hotel is probably as luxurious, but it is at the extreme south of the strip and you might feel a bit isolated in that sense... from the Venetian, you can walk to the Bellagio to see the free fountain show at night, the Mirage erupting volcano show or walk to the Wynn's breakfast buffet, or even to the Paris Eiffel tower observation deck. We visited many of the other hotels, and the Venetian probably has the most beautiful mall of them all. Lots of shops and art galleries, plenty of restaurants to chose from (highly recommend the Grand Lux café for breakfast, while the buffet is not as extensive as the Wynn's it is definitely a good choice if you need to fuel up early if going on an early tour of the canyon or catching an early flight out of Vegas, and it is also much better than the breakfast buffet at the Treasure Island...plus you can also order a la carte at the GL. Also recommend the happy hour at the Taqueria canonita in the Venetian mall (the margaritas are not watered down as in many of the outdoor bars in the strip) and the appetizers are very reasonably priced ... nachos with guacamole about 7 bucks) Luxury is the word to describe the Venetian, but be prepared to walk to get to your room and almost any place in the hotel .. which is probably true of most newer Vegas Hotels. The only small negatives on the Venetian are: No coffee maker in your room, the wireless internet connection is not fast enough and it was pretty bad in our room until they replace the router, and that rip-off extra hotel fee (22.00 per day )they charge... I think there are a handful of hotels that are not charging this fee, but if you get a good package for the Venetian, you probably won't mind paying that extra fee compared to the hotels that don't charge it. You wont be disappointed if you stay at the Venetian in your fist trip to Vegas."

"My wife and I were very disappointed in the Hotel this past weekend. When we checked into our room, the lighting was very poor and the mini bar was almost empty and had not been refilled from the guest ahead of us. The lighted mirrow in the bathroom my wife said did not work and we had to have it replaced. The carpet had not been swept cause their was food on the floor by the table next to the window. "The trip itself to Vegas was fun - went to see the Monster Jam races, but as for the hotel honesty, they failed miserably. When we first arrived, we were asked if we wanted an upgrade to have a view of the strip for around $45 extra per night - so we agreed. When we reviewed the paper to sign on check in, they were trying to charge us for a resort fee that we had already paid for in the booking- we where total it would be removed from our bill. When we got to our room, it was not a view of the strip so I went back to address the issue. They apologized and said they would remove the extra charge and give us a $100 voucher towards expenses for our troubles. They then informed us we had a parcel waiting for us and would deliver it to our room - it never showed so I asked for it on the second day - they first couldn't find it, then told us they never had one, then when I told them they emailed me with a tracking number before we got there, they suddenly found it - and charged us to bring it to our room - after offering to deliver it??? Upon checking out, as normal, we went to check out about 2 hours before our flight and came across big issues to check out - the upgrade room charge was still being charged, the $100 apology was missing, and the resort fee was being charged again. Everything they told us was not done. When I addressed it, it took the front desk lady so long to talk to her manager, I was going to miss my plane - when she finally, came back with answers, they contradicted themselves and basically we reneging on what we had been told. I don't know if this stalling tactic was intentional, but it sure works for someone that has to leave to catch a plane - you have no recourse but to pay the bill and run for the taxi. Long story short - just because your smiled at and told something, don't believe it - it cost us about $150 extra dollars and left us feeling ripped off. I would never recommend either of these places to anyone. The rooms are nice, but not a 5 diamond %u2013 more like a 4 star."

"Considering this is a 5 Star Grand Diamond resort I was really expecting alot more. the casino and hotel are really beautiful but the rooms are lacking. Considering the premium that is charged for the rooms the maintenance is less then up to par. The lock on our door was so loose that I thought it was going to fall off during our stay and I did not feel safe in the hotel room in the evening as we were right next to the elevators with alot of traffic. We asked that our room not be serviced and hung the sign but housekeeping ignored our request and entered our room anyway. the staff was less then friendly at the check in procedure I was not impressed. Even with a discount the room was over $200 a night, considering I could have stayed at any other 5 star hotel for the same or less I was disappointed. Im not sure i will be a future customer of this particular hotel unless they improve their service and amenities in alignment to the pricing."

"Of all the hotels I visited I found the Venetian my overall favorite.
A few goofs such as being wakened at 11:30 PM after we asked that the fridge be repaired and a burned light replaced (request made in afternoon).
Another was being waken by a surprisingly loud gurgling from the toilet at 6 AM, which I recognize as inadequate sewage venting so when many guests run water the negative pressure sucks out the drains and gurgles."

"It was ok. The hotel was super confusing to get around in. We had a 'bella suite' and they tried to get a $20/night resort fee out of us for stuff we wouldn't use. I called them out on it and we were told it was 'voluntary' but we really felt if I hadn't said anything they would have lumped it on us. We were given instructions like 5 year olds about the food and mini bar. It is nice but overrated. Don't even try to gamble there they have some crappy odds and there is definitely an air of rudeness from the dealers if you aren't betting $50/hand. I didn't feel welcome at all and it has that getting old feeling already you see in some of the older casinos (they are already renovating rooms)."

"The Venetian was beautiful in every way. If you have trouble walking you might want to rent a scooter. It is a long way from the lobby to your room if you are staying in the Venetia Tower. My only complaint is that there are no coffee pots in the rooms. With room rates so high you would think they could spare a coffee pot."

"The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff was more then friendly with the hotel. The cabana was great and our cabana woman was friendly and very helpfull. One drawback was some construction going on, but they marked it off well and there wasn't much of a disturbance. They needed alittle more of the $15 tables all the ones they had were full. "All in all we were disappointed in the hotel. It seems that all the resorts charge a $20 'resort fee' for the privilege of using the exercise facilities, the pool, and a free newspaper each day. We had to go back and ask for our coupon for a single free 8 oz. cup of coffee. If you're paying a $20 resort fee every day you should get a free cup of coffee every day. Most hotels have coffee makers in the room, or complimentary coffee in the lobby. The small fridge is completely filled with items to purchase, and everything is on a weight sensor, so if you lift anything.... we were told that we'd be billed for it. The Carnevale booklet 'filled with $1000 worth of coupons' was almost worthless. The hotel is gigantic and we got lost several times each of the 5 days that we were there. On the bright side, staff were very nice and very helpful. The room was very clean, bathroom was enormous, and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was definately not full in mid-July, but instead of offering us a free upgrade we were told upon check-in that our room was on a lower floor with no view and if we wanted a room with a better view we could pay an extra $45 per day. We declined, and our room on the 9th floor overlooked the roof of the convention center.... but the beautiful mountains in the distance is what we focused on when we looked out the window."

"Once we arrived at the hotel we asked for a room with a view and they offered us a upgrade, so we took the upgrade to another hotel still part of this hotel and we were soooo happy with our choice.
Upgraded room got us champagne upon arrival then continental breakfast for our whole stay there, open bar and hor derves for our whole stay as well. then we also got personal conceierge service free dvd library with free popcorn just by doing the upgrade.
Rooms were very spacious and clean, beds were soft and comfy, they provided robes and slippers in the room. Hotel is huge so be prepared to walk but very nice surroundings. The conceierge service was awesome they printed out my boarding passes and arranged for my return to the airport for me, all i had to do was show up .
Very nice hotel, service was excellent ,would recommend this place for anyone looking for a upscale hotel"

"All-in-all, the experience was excellent. We spent 6 nights in the Venetian hotel/casino in Las Vegas. However, we were not notified, at any point, that two-thirds of the casino was under significant construction. The portions that were open and not under construction, were totally unenjoyable because of the deafeningly loud noise from the construction in other areas. Reservations we had made at restaurants located around the casino area had to be canceled because the experience was completely miserable. I contacted a manager at one point, who apologized but made no attempt to make amends. I clearly did not want to make this disappointing aspect of the trip the focal point of the entire vacation, so we simply slept in the room and dined/gambled in other casinos. Finding out about the construction by walking smack into it was quite frustrating. It is unlikely I will stay at the Venetian at any point in the future, unless they make an attempt to rectify this wrong."

"We just got back from our 5 day first time trip to Vegas - hotel amazing; staff exceptional; indoor gondola ride incredible; will definitely go back. We did call the hotel before we left to book a room facing the strip OR the pool and were guaranteed that we would have one but when we arrived they did not have one available:( I agree with the comment above about the $20 a night resort fee - this SHOULD be included in the 'room' fee as you have NO choice but to pay it regardless if you use the pool etc or not - its part of the 'hotel' price so why not include it in the origianl price. The package we booked also included a free 'book of coupons' but when we went with the coupon to get the book they said the coupon was not valid. A coffee maker would be nice to have in each room as $4 for a small cup of coffee is a little outrageous."

"The hotel quality is out of world. Cleanliness is the top rate. The hotel is so large that many people were confused to get to their own room. But the guards in the halls directing the floor map was wonderful. There was no coffee in the room, which needed to order. The quality of the bathroom is excellent. But the shower floors are marble and slippery if you are not careful. They should have a railing for the safety of elderly and children. The bed was very comfortable and clean, which is the most important for the guests.nLas Vegas was clean and people in Las Vegas worked together to make guests comfortable best they could as a team. It was amazing how hard Las Vegas people work to please us. Restrooms in any hotels are very clean. People in Las Vegas can be proud how excellent their team work outcome."

"The resort was unreal! Beautiful resort that exceeded my expectations. You don't have to leave the resort - it has it all. The most amazing hotel in Vegas. Only complaint was the pool boy! Everyone tried to move the lawn chairs into the sun areas and he demanded everyone put the chairs back into the original spots - which was in the shade. He pissed off a lot of guests!"

"Just like to add that everything was top notch except for the van that was supposed to meet us at the airport. the poor rating is not for the hotel but for the Airport Van company Bell. We waited for over half an hour in the cold evening and when we tried to ask one of the limo drivers from Bell transportation, he seemed to care less. Finally the dispatcher from another company let us use his phone to contact Bell. It seems that the vans didn't come to our terminal even though there was a sign there for Bell. When he did arrive the driver said we could only have one fare per ticket.. when it clearly said on our voucher that up to 3 people could travel one way from the airport. We pointed this out to him and he allowed us on. This was the only glitch in an otherwise fantastic holiday. My advice is to get another company to do your airport transfers or for the travellers to take a cab to the hotel."

"I've stayed in many 5 star hotels, this hotel. is the most beautiful suite I have ever enjoyed. The bed was perfect and the bathroom was so big and luxurious, and the sunken well appointed living room was elegant... everything visually about the hotel complex was over the top beautiful. That combined with the attentive staff, I really felt like I was in Venice,Italy. The only negative thing I can say is that it is a huge hotel, and requires alot of walking ( which I don't mind) to get from your section to another, to another pool or the Grand Canals Shoppes. by the end of our trip we had it figured out and all the walking helped balance out the great food we enjoyed. A suggestion to the hotel would be a GPS app for people's phones, this would greatly help navigating this immense complex. I would definitely go back, but next time I would stay in the Palazzo or the Venetian to be more convenient."

We went to see Blue men that show doesnt belong here . This place is too upscale for that JIG ! We also went to see Donny and Marie which is short stroll up the strip Thats fabulous show ,, its the best Ive saw in Vegas . We started coming to LV in 1986 Great Town THE Venetian is by far the best Hotel we have stayed at !!!

"First of all, the whole package presented by Book-It was terrrific. Everything, from airline reservations to the hotel stay went flawlessly. The VALUE was unparalleled. Book-It followed up with reminders, tips and recommendations. The Venetian probably offers more than any other of the hotels on the Las Vegas trip. Customer service is obvious from the minute of check-in to the offer of expedited check-out on departure. On check-in, the receptionist upgraded the room to a suite without my even requesting it. I had called one month prior to our stay and the consierge booked fabulous seats at one of the most popular shows in Vegas-- 'O' at the Bellagio. "This was a birthday suprise for my Honey. He had no idea where I was taking him..The hotel was everything and more..From the moment we walked in and the grandure of the paintings and the singing artist was just a hint of what was to come. The room was upgraded. It was clean and elegant with a great view from the sitting room...the concierge was polite and gracious. We wanted tickets for a well sought after show and imeadetly got on the phone and got us great seats and even changed our dinner resevations to acomadate the show. "We went to LasVegas to celbrate 19 years of marraige, my 42nd birthday, my neice 21st bday, my sister;s 33rd anniversary, my inlaw 50th birthday and my other neice's engagement. When we got to the hotel we were told to go upstairs to the 'express check in' and were forced to wait 45-55 minutes for ONE person to handle a line of people that were 14 people. We were told for an extra $100 we would have a view of the strip, but couldn't be on the same floor as my family. We went to the room and had a great view--of the freeway. Also, there was plastic on the carpet and a very sewer like smell on the 33rd floor. I called and s/w Estelle, she changed us to the 30th floor. Our room was lovely. and we did have a partial view of the strip. Everything was very clean, very nice. There was some issues with the plumbling. When I unplugged my tub, the toliet bubbled up and made LOUD gurgling noises. It wasnt a big deal thought. The restaurants were top of the line, shopping was briliant, and the Winter in Venice was spectacular. We loved pretty much everything about it and will be coming back in April."

"There really wasn't anything luxurious about my accommodations. I booked my Luxury room through book-it.com with the idea that I had a a room with a jacuzzi tub in the room; there wasn't. Drain was stopped up in the vanity sink. There was hair stuck on the sink counter top. There was no Fridge except for the one that if you opened it your room would start incurring charges weather you actually used it or not (wet bar). No bath robes, Were as when I stayed at the Lu xor 8 years ago I was even allowed to Purchase a couple of those nice robes. Over all a very unsatisfying stay. Great Phantom of the Opera play though..."

"We reserved a king size bed and were told when we arrived there were none out of 4,720 rooms. They upgraded us to a Bella Room
with two queen size beds but no view only a cement wall three feet from our room window. The room was dark had to have the lights on all the time. Room was close to elevator and across from ice machine and not too much walking only 20 minutes to lobby.
Maid service was great every day and hotel was very lovely. Pool
area was fantastic. Lobby was stunning. Coupons of $150 offered
upon check-in weren't received when checked in but when we
got them not really too useful or worth it. Room was very, very

"We booked for the Venetian but received and up-grade and was able to stay at the Palazzo. The Palazzo was breathtaking. Great hotel, the staff was great as well. Just be prepared to walk and if you stay at the Palazzo they have there own separate entrance. Only disappointment is we ate at one of the Mexican restaurants there and was not pleased at all. The steak resaturant Mortel was excellent and service there was great. Would definitely stay there again."

"The Venitian Resort Hotel Casino is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you arrive the staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is breathetaking, the atmosphere is romantic and inviting. The rooms are spacious, cleaning and luxurious. Our stay was wonderful, we just didn`t want to leave. The check out was quick and easy since we booked thru BookIt.com. The view from our room was awesome!! The Venitian is connected to the Palazo so it was nice to be able to see that hotel as well. There is a Denny's and a Walgreen's next door which my kids were happy about. If you have kids this is the hotel for you. The swimming pool is beautiful. Treasure Island is across the street. We will definitley go back."

"Overall we had a wonderful trip and a good stay at the Venetian. I read reviews before I booked at this hotel and all had great things to say. Although I wish someone had informed us that everything and I mean EVERYTHING is an extra cost here and extremely expensive. ( I realize we are at a 5 star hotel but the prices were atrocious.) We felt for as much as we had spent to stay here we were not receiving in value. We encountered a few rude staff members primarily who worked in the casino. You get lost because the hotel is so large and it takes forever to get anywhere. We let them know it was our anniversary but they didn't do anything to accommodate this. We also asked to have adjoining rooms with another couple who joined us but because our flights arrived at different times they wouldn't accommodate this either. On a brighter note the rooms are beautiful but you don't really spend enough time in them to appreciate them. The king size bed is amazing, one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We enjoyed our trip but we won't be staying at the Venetian again."

" I have got to say that with all of the times I have traveled, that this is one of the best hotel experiences that I have had. May have been busy, but what has to be known of that is that this is Vegas and just about everywhere you go it's going to be like that, so that is one thing that did not bother me one bit. Location was a pretty good spot because you could go either way and end up just about anywhere you wanted to go or was intersted in seeing various sites. Room was very nice and the bed was as comfortable as one could be amongst the other features of the room.

"OMG... The Venetian was the best place i have ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly. I cant say enough about the suite we stayed in on the 19th floor. We had an awesome view of the pools and mountains! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Las Vegas, you wont be disappointed!"

"We have been to Vegas at least a dozen times and our stay at the Venetian was the most memorable! You enter the doors and feel like you have gone to Venice. Our suite was gorgeous!!!!! The pools were beautiful! The restaurants gave us such a good variety that we ate there numerous times. All of the dealers at the blackjack tables were friendly. All in all, it was the best time we've ever had in Vegas!"

"The Venetian hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. They were efficient in responding to requests and surroundings made you feel like you were in a completely different world away from the cares and stresses of life. I will stay at no other hotel when I return to Las Vegas. The hotel staff and facilities made me want to move in there on a permanent basis."

The lobby at the Venetian is one of the grandest rooms I have ever seen. The architecure is absolutley breath taking. As soon as you walk into this resort, you feel like you are stepping into Venice. The gondola rides are well worth the visit to this property. The indoor ride is about 14 minuts and really gives you a nice view of the shops. The outdoor ride is 12 minutes and takes you on a lagoon ride, with a view of the strip. Either way you choose, you can't go wrong. There are lots of shops on the second floor to choose from. Perfect location on the strip! "
