"It is a pretty good hotel, but is a little bit far from the strip, so, it takes some work to go to the main street. The fees are unfair, because I had to pay a lot and I could not use the pool (it was cold) and the internet is just for one device. But the bed are really comfortable, the bedroom was nice."

"hotel cleanliness is just not there I even found some sort of bug in the bed, shower was dirty and room was smelly. I just didn't feel comfortable and I was glad to only stay there one night.
It is not a kid friendly hotel, but that was my fault for not checking so if you have kids do not stay here because you have to walk through the casino"

"Very poor customer service, the trip started out with the concierge being rude to us with our reservations and check-in time. Second we turn on showers and water spraying everywhere turning our room into a lake. Took over an hour to talk to management after they ignored 15 calls to front desk. Front desk also got our tickets confused and took arguing and talking to 3 different management staff to receive our Rehab tickets. Definitely would never go back and will not recommend this hotel."

"Hard Rock is awesome just because of its pools. Paradise Beach Club technically only has pool parties on the weekends but its always party time there. And if you want to relax, you just go to Nirvana pool. It was just awesome! And the rooms are really comfy too, the bed was amazing, slept 10 hrs straight. Other than that the service is mediocre, the food is horrible and the casino is small and dull, but the pool and the rooms make up for it for sure."

"Lets be clear...the Hard Rock is about rock and roll and that does not lend itself to peace and quiet. We came to party and that is what we did! The Hard Rock did this well! The staff was friendly and welcoming but would strongly encourage the management to work on the value portion of food and drink...which was expensive and no buffet which would be hard to pull off without significant volume. Management maybe counting on a low room rate only to make it up on food, drink, and entrance fees to Rehab (which was great!). We got wise and went across the street to heat and ordered a pizza to the room to skirt the high food cost. $40 for breakfast at Mr. Lucky's (we also ate at the Pink Taco) including tip is the antithesis of a good deal and Fremont is taking the value from the strip and Hard Rock! I view this as the bait and switch (we are on to you Hard Rock). Drinks were a little expensive but we were unaware of happy hours due to the shortness of our stay. Once again, the staff was great! When we arrived on Sunday, the Hotel was a little beaten up...kind of like the next day after a huge party. The hallways were dirty upon arrival and could have used an immediate vacuum which it did on Sunday evening. The room was clean! The bed was the best investment the management made including the shower head (this is an industry known standard). The bed and shower was mentioned by everyone in our group. These two additions were the best out of the 3 hotels we stayed...including the 4 diamond Venetian! Great job Hard Rock! If you are going to the hard rock, plan to have a good time and enjoy yourself. The do hedonism well (the best in Vegas) but could work on cleanliness (Sunday morning) and food and drink value which left a sour impression. The group loved the gambling value (craps) as apposed to the strip and would return again. We are a little wiser to the bait and switch mentioned above and offer those suggestions only as an impedance to growth and revenue. We would go to the Hard Rock to party but Fremont Street for food and drink value, and the strip to just to see and tour. Thanks Vegas and Hard Rock!"

"My package was for a 'Pool View King Room.' The rate also included 'Free Rooom Upgrade upon Checkin.' I also requested a non-smoking room. I got NONE of the above at check in and the clerk told me that my deal was with the travel agency so they didnt have to honor it or provide what I thought I had paid for. I received instead, a smoking room with two double beds overlooking the airconditioning system on the opposite side of the hotel from the pool. No upgrade was offered. I was not happy with the Hotel."

"My husband and I loved this hotel! Pools - The pools were awesome and there were so many different ones to go to all secluded by palm trees. There was a beachy pool, a relaxing pool, at least two party pools, jacuzzis and even a little slide! Two things we didn't like: 1. The pools were ice cold! 2. We were not aware we could only use the beachy pool unless we paid to use the others because they had special events. This was only on Saturday and Sunday we knew we had to pay for Rehab. So, not a huge deal but enough to be annoying. Rooms - This hotel has the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Honestly, a huge, unexpected highlight to the trip. I don't think I can explain to you how much we loved our bed and our room! We had a suite and loved the separate living and sleeping rooms as well as the huge bathroom! The view was awesome also! We had pool view and could see part of the strip. Staff - The staff here is so nice! There was one exception, but out of the entire stay, that's not bad. This hotel is super easy and fast to get to from the airport and anytime we wanted to go anywhere we could easily walk outside and someone would get us a taxi pronto! Food - We really only ate at the Pink Taco and it was great. Loved the happy hour from 4-7! Otherwise, you are out at the pool paying $14 minimum for mixed drinks or $7 for a beer. It hurts less knowing ;) Location - We really didn't mind being away from the strip. It was a short cab ride and not too expensive or you could jump on a shuttle. Hindsight, we should have probably taken the shuttle! Super easy to get anywhere from here and to get a taxi. Who cares you're not on the strip, I think we preferred it that way :)"

"We had a great family vacation. We went Wed. and left on Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday were pleasant but Friday and Saturday were quite confusing. Many events going on and it was hard as a hotel guest to get from our room to the Narvinia pool. Many exits were roped off. The hotel opens its doors to non hotel quests and they pay to enter the pools. Be prepared to pay upfront $150.00 for the resort fee. They reinverse you 5-7 days after your trip is over, if there was no damage. When you check out, they charge you 20.00 a day for the resort fee and any expenses you incured while at the hotel. It is very confusing. Our mother got sick the final day of our trip and the hotel was nice enough to let us have a late check out (5:30) so she did not have to wait at the airport while she was ill. We really appreciated that. All the maids, resturant servers and casino workers were very friendly. Surprise me thought, the reservation agents were not. I would go back but not on a week-end."

"The room & beds were very comfortable & the staff was pleasant and efficient. The hotel is off the strip, and with limited competition the prices for food or a cup of coffee are more than outrageously expensive. No coffee pot or refrigerator in the room. To get a small pot of coffee in your room costs $5.99 & $3 delivery charge & 20 % for gratuity and taxes; throw in a $2 tip to the delivery person and you are at $13 for a cup of coffee. My wife looked at a menu and walked away after seeing a cost of $12 for one egg. On the strip the other hotels offer a full breakfast for $7 - $8. 7000 points in player comps here get you nothing; at other hotels 1000 - 2000 gets you a dinner. We learned the hard way & have no desire to ever go back"

"I've been to all the other hotels on the strip and I thought this hotel was way nicer. Why? Because it is off the strip, it isn't as worn down or dirty. It was very clean, every where I looked there was someone cleaning. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. It didn't have thousands of people herding themselves through it at all hours, or ever really. So it wasn't filled with cigarette smoke like most are. And I liked that, all of that. I liked that it has lower lighting also, hang over friendly :) And the staff was very helpful and upgraded our room just because we asked. The dealers at the craps table was awesome. Totally taught us how to play and we did win a few hundred dollars, starting with only $40. I loved it there. The one and only thing I was not happy with was that I checked the web site to make sure 'Rehab' was not happening while we were there, it said it started a week after we were there so I was happy about that. However, when we got there, there was pre-Rehab parties every day starting at 7am!! I was not happy about getting jarred awake every morning by that. That sucked! If I would've known that, I might have booked somewhere else.. But I could've also asked to have a room not facing the pool, that would've been quieter also and I sure they would've happily obliged. They did have other pools that were a little more low key and not so obnoxious so you do have a choice. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to a friend."

" When I'm thinking 5 star, I was secretly hoping somewhere in City Center, so I was a little disappointed it was this particular hotel. The room they featured in the photo with the sitting area was not the room we got (that's where you lost me and it's really not 5 star at this point). We got the one with the green chair, a huge photo of a famous band. view of the parking garage and a bed. There were two shower heads and only one worked (it was fixed on our last day). On the plus side, it deserves a 4 rating because the room was clean and Mr. Lucky's has THE best hash browns, but personally, it was kind of dark and it was hard to get the lights and shower to work. I don't know if I would book a 'mystery' deal again."

"Our room had no glasses, the ice machinen on our floor was out of order, there was no fan in the bathroom, our request for glasses met with no response. We had to ask a second time. The staff person who delivered the lgasses was not at all courteous. There should ALWAYS be a coffee pot and coffee in a hotel room. No exception. The front desk staff was very personable. We were unaware of the $18 dollar a day hotel fee but that was the fault of our internet that did not allow us to open the billing agreement. But, it was one more thing that we didn't like. The cost of food, coffee and highballs was exorbitant. Way out of line. While we realize the hotel is geared for the younger guests, I would likek to think you would want all ages to feel comfortable there. The volume of the piped in music was a bit much."

"Had a blast in Vegas!! The staff was very friendly, room were clean and the pool was very nice...The only bad side was the walk to the Veas strip was a little further than expected...and the shuttle bus to the fashion show only transported til 5:00pm...The overall stay at the hotel was great...but unless you just came to party at the hotel in the nice pools or to play the casinos; you will be better off staying on the Vegas strip because you will spend $15 to $20 a day on a taxi. The extra coupons for breakfast wasn't worth the $30 value they said either. Other than that I would definitely stay at the hotel again because everyone their seemed very respectful and courteous..."

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock. Between the friendly staff for check in and at the bell desk to some of the dealers being very personable, we would definitely recommend this to friends."

"I was very disappointed with our choice to stay at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Mainly the staff in the Casino and restaurants acted like they were doing you a favor for doing your business at their hotel. The prices for food and drinks were way to high for middle class people. We had a party of 7 and when one person in our party asked for a drink in the Casino they were told that they could not have one because they were playing on a penny machine. I found this unbelievably rude!! Our room was OK but nothing special. I will not ever consider staying there the next time I visit Las Vegas."

"My 3rd trip to Vegas and 1st time at Hard Rock. I love love love Vegas, but am not a big fan of Hard Rock. This hotel is way too far off the strip so you have to take a cab everyday to go to where all the action was. Also rooms not that good, pretty basic. However, the pool party on Sunday AMAZING! A must if you go to Vegas. Also staff very nice and made trip comfortable."

"The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are the nicest I've stayed in so far (MGM Grand, Excalibur, Treasure Island, Harrah's) and I loved all the rock and roll memorabilia and photos everywhere. They are constantly playing really great music, too, so when you're losing all your money at the tables at least you have something nice to sing along with. The tables were more expensive than I thought they would be for a casino off of the strip, with $10 blackjack and $5 craps being the lowest I ever saw, $15/$10 each night. The pool is absolutely fantastic; gorgeous setup with a gorgeous staff working it. Get there early, though, because the chairs fill up fast.
The only real downfall is the location. You're probably about 3/4 mile walk from the strip, which is doable assuming it's not too hot out. I also wouldn't make the walk at night, even though there are plenty of cars on the road with witnesses. Otherwise it'll be a $10 cab ride to get where you're going.
Make sure you read the fine print too. There's a $20 a day resort fee that they surprise you with upon checkout. If that would have been added into the price on BookIt.com, I probably wouldn't have stayed here. Although I'm still glad I did."

"HRH was very nice, stayed in Casino tower, very nice room, beds were comfy. The only negative comment I have is that shower/bath had very poor water pressure. Tried taking a bath but by the time the water had gotten to a level to soak in, water temp had cooled off with hot water still coming out of tap. Bathroom sink easily clogged up and that was brought up to staff attention and was corrected but still had delay in draining. Laying out by pools were nice but drinks/food very expensive, paying for 'Rehab' status. $25 for a alcoholic drink and take home cup?? Got tickets to a concert at The Joint inside HRH, excellent concert, very convienent to see concert and walk to casino/food/room if you wanted. "
