We got booked in this place through an agency selling time share. The location is right on fremont street so a great hotel if you like the 18hrs of music, lights, and casino. Room was nice and modern. Sheets had a stain on them... Was surprised at the $20 a day resort fee but apparently all big hotels have that. It includes parking, wifi, and a discount to their shows...it would of been nice to give us a rate card on what their shows cost but they did not. If you have your own phone its free wi... Read more

Stayed here one night to experience the Fremont part of downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The casinos had reasonable tables and was a lot of fun. This area of town is a bit different than the strip which makes for a nice change of pace. Also, the steakhouse in the D (Andiamo) is one of the best restaurants in town.

I did some research on this site and decided on The D because of the price and that most of the reviews were good. We stayed for 4 nights during the second week of January. We were in room 2230, just a basic room with 2 queen beds and a nice view. It was not noisy. It was clean and updated. We thought the elevators were cool. You enter your floor number outside the elevators and it directs you to the right elevator - they were fast too. We had fun in the casinos and won little $50 and $10... Read more

Have heard allot about this casino so thought was give it a shot, went on a Saturday night very busy. However, the dealers were friendly, and they didnt raise the Min because tables were full. The atmosphere was extremely inviting compare to the strip property where the dealers were not friendly at all

My fourth stay and it keeps getting better. The craps tables rock, the Andiamo is great, and Derek the owner holds court at the bar. Incredibly old school. The interior music could be turned down a notch or the craps table could be moved to a quieter corner. Yelling commands to the crew gets old. If you need a host, Miguel is top notch.

I already reviewed this hotel 2 years ago so this time I will be short and sweet. We stayed on the Strip before but this is an excellent option to stay outside of the strip for a change - more laid back area, affordable dining all around (just check Tony Romas' specials!), much more relaxing than on the Strip (especially if you are in transit) BUT easy and fast to get to the main strip (even using public transportation - cheap and easy!) Rooms are great: clean, spacious, comfy beds, functional b... Read more

The rooms are quite basic (no fridge) but are great for on a budget, clean and comfy beds. It's right in the middle of Freemont so you don't need to go into the strip for entertainment it's all right there, however very loud even from the 12th floor.

This is the first reasonable size hotel I have been to in Las Vegas. The rooms were clean and modern and you do not have to walk through a smoky casino to get to your room. Finally - everything is easy to find and the coffee stand is right there as you exit the elevator. just a great size hotel - unlike the goliath hotels on the strip. Then comes the location . . . . This could NOT be better. The back of the hotel opens up right to Fremont street that 5 block promenade of amazing fre... Read more

Everything about this hotel is great. Small casino floor so you can go from room to car/cab in 5 mins. The cafe is pretty good with no wait time. The shows are cheap and entertaining. The gambling has low minimums. However, it's simply too noisy. On Saturday night, the music went till 4AM. How do I know? I could not fall asleep because of how loud it is.

We've been to The D before, and returned - that tells you something. It is in a great location on Fremont Street. The staff are wonderful - the rooms clean and comfortable. As noted previously, it is on Fremont Street, so if you are looking for a quiet stay, this is not the place. It is high energy and you can see all the action on Fremont. The pool was chilly (weather was in the 40s most days) but the hot tub was delightful! There was some construction happening after CES cleared up - so i... Read more
