"Upon arrival at the front desk I was informed that I had only booked two nights. When I booked for three I quickly corrected the guest service agent whom did not seem to believe me. I showed her my booking and she had to talk to the manager first. So then she agreed to 3 nights. they did not have a smoking room as per request ( I know it is only a request) nor a room ready. Strange as the resort was not full by any means. So I asked if there was somewhere we could change. We were given a key to the fitness center where there was no privacy to get changed. So we left our bags with the bellman and waited for our room. As time went on we decided not to waste the day and went to the Concierges for information. Well the older lady would not even help us until we proved we were guests. I have never met a Concierge that would not help unless you were a guest. The help was okay I guess she threw some maps at us and that was it. So then we run to get on the shuttle to get to the strip. I could not find the spa key before we got on the bus and the bus driver was very unpleasant talking to me in a rude voice that I better find the key! This is pretty much how the whole trip went nobody went out of their way or even smiled at you. Not once did anybody say have a nice day or try to make up for the lack of courteous service. I wanted to go to the lazy river although it was during open hours the gate to it was paddle locked and the staff were hanging around a palpa talking amongst themselves. I did go complain about it and the front desk agent tilted his head looked a bit confused but did nothing about it.
On the plus side hotel is nice suites are spacious they have a laundry room and a 24 hour Dennys on site. The staff at Denny's was exceptional and really wowed me unlike the Resort staff. Older Concierge with glasses was nice, bus driver who takes you to Freemont street was nice. Gift shop has supplies for cooking in your suite. Next time i will go back to the large resorts and get the service I payed for with a smile."

"Great experience... Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. It is away from the strip but it was nice to go downtown and come back to quiteness. The shuttle service was great as well as the drivers. If we return to vegas we will be staying here again! The only negitive that we found was if your trash in your room gets full, you are to sit it in the hallway and the cleaning crew picks it up which looks dirty. Overall the hotel itself is clean as well as our room although they do not clean it daily, which some people have reviewed as bad. We found it nice that someone wasn't coming in and invading our space and privacy. Getting extra towels proved not too be a problem. Great experience and their website is exactly what you get and experience......."

"bus shuttle to strip is very on-time. Hotel is excellent. You can have your own bbq time. Kids love the pool and lazy river. Kids want to come back again. No rowdy college student. The only negative is that it does not have gambling and a little far from strip. can't they build a casino next to it?"

"I was not at all pleased with the lack of information needed for check in. In the room there was much hair in the bed sheets...I am bald. They need to shampoo the carpets in the rooms and in the hallway. That was my second stay at that resort the first was very nice. It won't happen again.
The only positive thing I can say is that the shuttle was on time and they had very nice drivers."

"I was not impressed at all with this property. Hall carpets were worn and dirty. Had to specifically ask for towels each day. Had to pay for room to be cleaned. Had to pay a resort fee daily per person. The Lazy River was awesome and the Activitiew Desk was great. That is it! I would never stay at Tahiti Village again and would not recommend the property to my family or friends."
