Fabulous hotel with impeccable service and a great location. All staff were polite, helpful, and went the extra mile to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms are roomy and extremely clean, beds provide a nice nights sleep. I recommend trying the Kilow@t Restaurant. It was prompt and the food was really, really delicious!. There are a variety of options from healthy to tasty. We really enjoyed our stay at the Platinum Hotel & Spa.

Honestly, having been to Las Vegas a few times, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel location is a few blocks east of the strip (east of the Paris Hotel). The walk to the strip with kids in tow is not great, but it's doable, but let's focus on the hotel. We only stayed one night. The room was not ready for us at the time of check-in, which was disappointing as we drove in, and got there in the early afternoon (tired with kids). We would have used the pool if we had time, but did not and we... Read more

We have always enjoyed this hotel, great location, very big rooms with great facilities, usually good value for money. Stayed here for 4 nights over a week ago and had a very disappointing experience. On checking into the room, we noticed a distinct old cooking smell coming through the air con, I raised this with the front desk, they said would look into it but heard nothing more. The smell continued for 2 days, then got better. In addition, I had to call Maintenance on the second day as the hea... Read more

I could not stop gushing about our hotel experience while in Las Vegas. Our suite was enormous -- we could've easily lived there. The nice man at the front desk placed us in a room with a view of the Strip that was fantastic; I returned to thank him later. We spent time on the balcony just marveling at our luck at stumbling upon this place. The location really is great, and after reading reviews, I wish we'd eaten breakfast at the hotel at least once, especially after a few of the less-than-ste... Read more

After travelling in America for 3 weeks, I found this hotel to provide the best overall experience. One of the reasons I liked this hotel the most, was the fact that people were genuinely nice and helpful without expecting anything from you (i.e. Tips) - even though it is appreciated when you do. The check in/out was very quick and the people behind the desk are always willing to give you help and advice. The rooms/suites were some of the best I've stayed in. These were huge and modern with ... Read more

My two kids and I had the best hotel experience ever at The Platinum. Chill, super friendly, great accommodations, great restaurant and bar, and great pool! We needed a place to crash as we got stranded at the airport, they hooked us up right away and even allowed us to check in early. How the staff seems to know us....I don't know...we were well taken care of and able to chill after a long weekend of doing all the kids activities in Vegas! Thanks Platinum! You guys rock! When I come back t... Read more

I was in 719. The rooms with the strip view are usually numbered 15-19 so 815, 816,817, 818, 819 would be the best on that floor. 915,916, 917, would also be best in the building. I diagramed the entire building LOL. Breaking it down further part of the view on the 18 and 19 may be obstructed. The tallest views are on the 17th of course and that floor has a different scheme. I prefer floors 8-9 great strip views but one can also see what's going on in the pool area. The higher floo... Read more

The property is a couple blocks east of the strip, on the east side of Koval. The common areas were very adequate but not posh. All rooms are advertised as suites, but they are essentially one-bedroom apartments with a good-sized full kitchen, so great for families (assuming anyone actually brings a family to Vegas). The staff at the front desk, reservations, bellhop station, etc., were exceptionally good, but the housekeeping staff was inattentive, at best: the trash on the floor when I arri... Read more

This hotel was very nice and quiet. Not a casino. Situated within walking distance to most attractions and around the corner from the strip. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, great views, clean, and comfortable.

What a great stay! As someone who as visited Vegas many times and stayed at the big resort hotels, this stay was a relaxing and so much nicer stay. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the strip, the hotel is located in a perfect place. Easy to get to the big resorts via the backroads, and accessible to Flamingo Road and all of the shops east of the strip if you need any food/essentials. We stayed in the Solitaire suite that I happened to find a great deal on Travelzoo. The suite was gigantic at almost 91... Read more
