"We booked the 1-bedroom suite at Palms Place. I had searched the internet for the best place for the best price and was surprised to find the Palms on the list. A great BookIt deal make it well worth the price. We stayed for 6 nights and it was better than we expected. So much so that we didn't even gamble on this trip! This 1200 sq ft suite was big and felt like home. The service and amenities were top shelf. The only thing i wanted that we didn't have access to is the balconies. This room had 2 balconies and we could not use them. the air in a hotel room gets stale, even with 3 thermostats... it would have been nice to have fresh air. I hope Palms finds a way to offer balcony access to responsible guests, perhaps with some kind of insurance policy or something. I would highly recommend Palms Place for mature travelers."

"Front desk from casino side staff was very un professional.
First I had a question regarding returning a car they have on
there front desk. But since they were closed I was asking front desk employee
for a help. The employee was very unfriendly and gave me a answer ' I don't
know' and ' I cant do anything about it.' She put her hands in the pokets and
talked to me while she was saying this. Very very dis respectful.
Furthermore, I asked manager To find better solutions to
help me. But the answer she gave me was 'I cant do any thing'
Palms hotel is four diamond hotel and receiving this kind of treatment was disappointing

"The Palms room was amazing. The shower and jetted tub were huge. The view of the city from the 52 floor was so lovely. We were celebrating our anniversary and let them know when we checked in. That first evening the doorbell rang(yes there is a doorbell!) and in rolled champagne on ice with chocolate dipped strawberries. The table was draped in white linen with orchids and a card. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had no complaints at all. We did activities outside of the strip. Hiking at Red Rocks, Hoover Dam, visiting friends. It is far from the strip-so you have to want to be there. We did and it was great!"

"Let me start first by saying that we chose the Palms Place for our first visit to Las Vegas because of the sheer beauty of even the studio suites. We are by no means financially well-off, and the Palms Place gave us a feeling of luxury we could never imagine experiencing EVER!. The staff was very friendly and willing to provide assistance when we experienced a small problem with the reader for the room keys. When they couldn't solve the problem with the lock, they were nice enough to find us a room one floor above facing the very view of the strip we had just fallen in love with when we entered the original room. The bed was so comfortable, I am finding myself tossing and turning in my own bed these past nights because our old mattress cannot compare! My husband and I enjoyed not having to be filled with smoke at all times, being that we are nonsmokers. We cannot wait to visit Las Vegas again, and the Palms Place will definitely be a hotel we would love to revisit!"

"We wanted to stay off the strip but still close enough to enjoy it. This place was the perfect fit for us. As a non casino location this was a great destination. The ascetics of the hotel are among some of the best in Vegas reflecting a very cool modern flare. As rooms go the we had a studio suite the was quite comfortable and relaxing to be in both day or night. The staff was very helpful in and request for services the we needed."

"We recently returned from our long weekend in Vegas. The hotel was very nice. We had a great room on the 28th floor, overlooking the strip. The view was spectacular, especially at night. The one thing that bothered me was: we were CHARGED an additional daily resort fee of $16.80 on top of the original amount we paid. The total 'Resort fee' amounted to $60.00. We didn't expect any further fee's unless we utilized a service or charged something. This is disturbing becuase you pay taxes and fee's when you book as well."

"Arrived to the hotel at about 7:30PM, There was no line and we checked in, in less than 3 minutes. Room was great! we had a great view. This hotel was the best bang for you buck. The beds were very comfortable, I slept on the pullout and I have to say it was very comfortable, but that just might be because I was very drunk. There were 6 guys in one room and we were all very comfortable. The taxi ride to the strip was about $10 to Cosmopolitan where we went to Marquee the first night. Second night we walked over to another hotel and went to ghost bar, we got in free with our room key and a pass we received from the concierge. We also got free admission to playboy, moon and Rain, so that was a major perk."

"So yes it's beautiful and for the first time I had a great view of the strip...but we were charged $18/day for resort fee (not mentioned), $15/day for internet (not included in resort fee) and $25/day for use of the gym. Needless to say I was not aware of the internet or gym charges since they should have been included in a resort fee. We stayed 3 nights for $300, but then add resort fee and tax plus one sandwich from room service and now I've spent over $440. Very deceiving. I was not aware all the restaurants close by like 11pm. Cab rides were about $14 average, but most of what i wanted to do was on the strip so it broke my budget. I was also told by staff in the casino on a sunday night that most of the clubs werent open, and some only open on friday and saturday? So I stayed in the first night. Later I found that to be untrue. The staff also didn't seem to care that I lost my rings in the bathroom at the theater there. The theater closed after our movie at midnight and when I got back to the room I noticed I left my rings in the bathroom. I immediately ran back down, checked the bathroom, and they were gone!!! All the staff did was ask someone somewhere over their headset and said there was nothing else they could do. Everything was beautiful, the restaurant Simon was great, but I felt deceived by the cost and the fact that eveything closed early...people are up gambling all night, so why would everything close? I've been to Vegas about 4 other times, and I love visiting, but I probably wouldn't stay there again. Also we waited with no one else around for up to 15 min for cabs and at times there wasn't enough staff working outside or at the concierge to take care of our needs. When I asked for the maid to bring clean sheets, she brought sheets and left them on the counter. Really? Do they not change the sheets on the beds? Our blowdryer was broken, the jet tub wouldn't stop draining so if you wanted to take a bath you had to sit on the drain. When I called for assistance, I couldn't get through and the line said leave a message, but the mailbox was full! I called the concierge and they patched me through immediately. I think they didn't care about my business, whether I had a good time or not. They knew they were getting my money regardless. If you are gonna have a hotel off the strip, make sure you can offer enough amenities (for free) to make it worth someone's while to stay there. I did like gambling in the casino, so that was fun, and there is a sonic across the street we walked to to get our ice cream since the yogurt place closed before midnight. The room was beautiful, but the stay could have been better. Also one of the cocktail waitresses refused to get me a drink because she said I wasn't gambling! My friend was gambling with my money and teaching me how. That was rude. I was the only girl at the table, get me measly captain and coke please! We had the most people at our table, having a great time, meeting new people, and that girl made me feel bad."

Went to Simons service was okay food Sushi was old not fresh. Had a Spa Day very nice and professional. Had food delieved 1st time pancakes were burnt 2nd time the oatmail taste like cigerrette ashes both bowls. I would not recommend just because i had to call and call for them to take it off my check. Roomservice came back to pick up food twice so its not like we ate it. Oh and waited 25 mins for elevator and the elevator stops at every floor even thou no one is there."

"I really did love the 1 bedroom suite, and the price we got for it was even sweete!! We went to all the clubs, and I must say they were all good, my favorite was Ghostbar and Moon. The only downside I would say, is that my room was on the 28th floor, and for some reason it alwasy sounded like there were airplanes above our room??? Also the staff is sooooo unfriendly!!! I thought it was just me, but after reading a couple of other entries, it was just not me. The girl that checked us in was rude, and the girl that checked me out was rude too!!! Other than that, I would come back again if the price is right :)"

"The advertisement I saw was that the resort was remodeled. When I made the reservation I was given Palms Place. Thought this would be the same. When we checked in here was a $22 resort fee, we asked what it covered and the reservation clerk said ' not much it's just a fee that we charge like other off strip locations'.
We got to the room, no ice on the floor, called the front desk they said it was in the refrigerator. Well our refrigerator did not work and there was no ice. they never fixed it during our stay or made ant effort to get us ice. The bathroom smelled like mold.
This is not THE HOTEL or Trump where we usually stay. Don't listen to there ads.

"Although we had a great time in Vegas, I was a tad disappointed with the resort. :-( For my first stay in Vegas, I anticipated the lovely suite promised through BookIt.com. For starters, there is a $100/day incidental fee asked at check-in. We didn't need to pay this fee considering all my incidents would be taking place OUTSIDE of our room! After a polite discussion we got this lowered to a $100 hold on my credit card released a check-out. When my party and I arrived (on time), our room was given away and we were 'upgraded' . I assume this is the lesser version of the resort. It was lovely and had great views of the Nevada mountains, a fabulous slap-yo-momma buffet, a movie theatre and a ton of other amenities, BUT we did not receive what we originally purchased. I had to ask the manager for our breakfast buffet tickets, spa passes and coupon books two days into the trip. They were very accomodating and nice, but I was overall not impressed. Also since we did not rent a car, the minimum of two taxi rides a day ($10 min. one way) added up quickly. I would definitely stay on the strip next time and raise an eyebrow when I am offered an 'upgrade' at check-in!"

"I loved my room very much, they had everything inside such as stove, microwave, cutlery and etc., only left to buy food or you can actually cook if somebody planning to live there for awhile. I stayed in the newest unit/building (they have 3 of them) and my room was a studio suite on 28 th floor but their balcony was locked ( they said for our own protection), apparently they had some kind of an accident awhile ago. Anyway, they give $20 daily drink credit which you can use at any casino bar and complimentary admissions for club passes. On 6th level locates 'Simon' restaurant and pool/spas was pretty good but some of their staff was good and some not which was a bit disappointing cause you there as a guest which they should treat you nicely. Otherwise other things was good, the casino was on the main floor which you have to walk through 'sky tube' about 3-5 minutes. Then they have variety clubs/bars such as 'Playboy', 'Moon', 'Rain' and 'Ghost bar'. Also it has Imax theater right there where is food court as well and so on. I hope my info was a bit helpful. I recommend you guys to stay there and have a real fun!"

"We stayed in a Studio Suite over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The check in process was easy and efficient. We loved our room. The bed was comfortable as well as the other ammenities. The two TVs are cool. I never thought to have 2 TVs in the same room. It allowed us to watch different things but still be together. We appreciated being out of the casino. The moving walkway was easy to use. We loved Simon's and wished we had another chance to eat there. We also enjoyed Novo and N9NE. The pool was very nice too. Great hotel. We will be back."
