Booked two rooms for 2 nights and check in went very smoothly. Our room was pleasant, a bit dark and could be updated a little but other than that had a very pleasant stay. Enjoyed the casino and the hotel itself and would stay again.

Chose this hotel for our trip to Vegas this year primarily because of its proximity to the new TMobile arena. Definitely not as nice as the MGM grand. Rooms were average, beds not as comfy, pool subpar for vegas standards. Atmosphere and overall casino are neat and is a good place for families with kids. Overall it was a decent value though for a strip property.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Room service excellent, room spotlessly clean and view out of this world. Simply can't fault the hotel. Booked a show at the concierge, stored our bags with Bell Service. Everything was easy to do and the standard of service was excellent. Parked our car in the hotel car park - which was easy to find and easy to access the hotel. Location of the hotel is very good, although it is towards one of the The Strip. Would recommend this hotel. Numerous places ... Read more

We had floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the strip. The walk was long once out of the elevator but well worth it for the view. The room was clean and newly remodeled, text message checkout rocks, but don't forget to hold on to your key if your car is parked in the garage. We forgot and had to walk back to the front desk to wait in line for the replacement.

This hotel is definitely very grand! The hotel itself is lovely and there is lots to do in the hotel. The bedroom was also very clean. However, there are little facilities in the rooms, such as no coffee machine and microwave, which are present in hotels such as a Best Western. For the money you'd expect a lot more. It's not too far away from shopping which is good.

Hotel is nice. The location is key, as you can get to either side of the strip via the catwalks. Service on the casino floor while playing slots was hit and miss. No refrigerator in rooms. Rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable.

This was my first stay at NYNY, but it will not be my last. With a concert scheduled on a hot, July late afternoon, a hotel within easy walking distance was a must! A short walk with misters scattered thru the Park really helped. The paid parking in the NYNY garage was efficient. Using one's room key to enter and exit the garage works well. Staff were on hand to assist if needed. When checking into hotel, if one is coming under an mlife invitation (which I assume pertains to the emails sent to o... Read more

My birthday is July 4th and I decided that I wanted to treat myself and my adult daughter to a couple of Cirque du Soleil's shows. We arrived early evening on June 30th. We saw "O" July 1st and "Zumanity" July 2nd. We thoroughly enjoyed both shows. Our stay at New York, New York was very good. Our meal at Gallaghers our first night was marvelous. Our first time stay on the strip in New York, New York was awesome. The hotel was lively they have many places to eat, dancing, music, drinking and even the Zumanity cirque du soleil show we ended up watching on the last minute was playing there which was really convenient. The decorations here make the casino real lively. Oh, and you have to try a drink at The Chocolate Bar. They are pricey but just one won't hurt. We stayed at this hotel for one night at an excellent rate. There's a lot to do within the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and the price was unbeatable. The only potential downside is that it's on one end of the strip but just a long walk/short uber drive away from the center of the strip so definitely not a deal breaker.

We love Las Vegas and try to go at least once a year. If you are not rolling in dough and want to make the most of your stay but still have fun here is what you can do: 1. Good things- the staff (great appreciation to Robert,Patty and Tara), the variety of restaurants, the location and especially the rooms. We had two rooms close to each other. I have to say that they have done a clever job of creating a mini New York on the Las Vegas Strip. It's fun just looking at the ways they have applied the style and diversity of NY City to the amenities of a hotel and casino. I was there for a conference, and had the option of upgrading to the Spa room for another $25 so took it. The hotel is huge, it's easy to get lost in at first and you could probably spend a few days not having to leave the hotel, there's loads to do and many places to eat (the vegetarian selection in the restaurants isn't particularly good tho) The decor in the communal areas and also the rooms is lovely. It's a Vegas hotel on the strip - you can't really go wrong with any of them. Rooms are what you'd expect - clean, large, great view and amenities. Great casino floor with plenty of options for food and drink. Make sure you try the pizzaria and also go to the Coyote bar. Cross the bridge and you're at the MGM. Would I stay here again? Yes... BUT, I'd prefer to stay further up the strip next time towards Bellagio as it's more central. Value would probably bring me back to NYNY.

If I would be arriving at the arena by taxi you should be dropped off at Monte Carlo. Our room didn't have coffee in it. My one big complaint is it is a long walk from check in to our room. We stayed here and used the walkway to go over to see the David Copperfield Show. Great location and great food choices in the downstairs of the hotel. Kids loved that it looked like a city block with all of the different awnings/signs for stores and restaurants.

Great place I am not one for casinos however the remainder of the attractions in this hotel are great. Lots of part like a mini New York city. Irish bar was great, lots of food places and activities taking place. The roller coaster is excellent.

This hotel is nice, rooms are nice, staff was great but the hotel itself is the smokiest I've come across. It's also at the far end of the strip and to get to the Wynn or Palazzo was a LONG walk!! Nice view of the Excalibur at night though and gambling at Excalibur was the best. The only $5 crap table I've found.

This hotel has everything for a family . Roller coaster , games area , food. The conceirge was always helpful when it came to helping me confirm other destinations and shuttles. I found when we rocked up at check in the lady was not helpful at all and thought we only had 1 room booked when we had 2 . There is so much to see and do. The room we had two queen beds. Loved that the curtains made it dark you didn't know when morning was. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel

We were terribly disappointed at what used to be one of my favorite places. We booked a strip view room here for one night and paid for a non- smoking king room. When we checked in, we were told they only had 2 queens so we agreed. Once in the room, we draw the curtain to see our view, which ended up being literally a brick wall. We call the front desk who tell us they will move us but we have to come exchange keys. We get the new keys (luggage still in tow) and head to the next room. We walked i... Read more

We have just returned from 4 nights in Vegas where we stayed at NYNY. We were 4 couples celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. The hotel was excellent, we ate at several of the bars and restaurants and found no fault at all. The people in the casino are friendly and helpful and the craps lesson was very helpful for a beginner like myself. I had heard that the smell of smoke could be a problem but unless you sat close to smokers in the casino it really was hardly noticeable as the a/c was very ef... Read more

Made our reservation over two months ago through an MLife offer. Arrived Tuesday after long flight and told room wasn't ready but will call us within the hour to let us know when can check in. We walked around and ate lunch but no call so walked back after four hour wait. Room still not ready so the desk called a supervisor who said they found a room. Walked across the hotel and took elevator to our floor to find the housekeeper just arrived and estimated another hour. Recontacted the hotel staf... Read more

We flew in from South Africa and stayed here for 6 nights. Beds are good, Bathrooms are ok, although, my room mates kept clogging up the toilet. Shower and fittings do show their age. Room could do with more lighting. Overall Mediocre.

Having stayed at various places up and down the strip, I think New York, New York is one of the best options. The service is high standard without being over the top, and the location is perfect as its only a short walk off the strip to the accommodation - many other hotels are set back so its a long walk to the rooms. The casino area of NYNY is also smaller than most so its lively at all times. This might not suit some people but I prefer it to some of the larger casinos which can be depressing... Read more

We stayed here Nov 7 through the 10th. Very nice room. Cleaned well by housekeeping. The resort has more than enough dining options. We were comped for all the nights including resort fees. However the parking was $18 per day. Dislike this fee as much as the resort fee. The only good thing is that you can park at any of thier properties for that fee.

Typical Las Vagas Hotel, Big, cheerful and bright, My wife and I stayed for 7 Nights. Great Hotel, a good enjoyable place to loose your money on the tables. Great location on the strip. Rooms are very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Staff are friendly. The hotel has good bars with entertainment and also good restaurants at a reasonable price considering it is Las Vagas. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Love the small venue feel we get in this hotel/casino. The rooms are comfortable yet grand in size and style. Not all dealers are open and friendly but could always count on the pit boss to accommodate our needs while sitting at a table.

I have been going to LV at least 1 time per year for the last 5 years. Every time I go I stay at a different hotel to gain perspective. This hotel has it all for me. The manager Mike was fantastic, as were the other staff there. The pizza shop and fish and chip spots were beyond GOOOOD!!!! There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby and if you are a hotel guest, your entitled to the 2 for 1 breakfast special, so you can save a few bucks there - the breakfast crepe was so fresh and filling. New York New York was great. What is really impressive is the variety of eateries you can choose from. New York "streets" have been created so you can wander around until you find something you would like to eat. There are some shops - Hersheys is there, but not a lot. That is OK though as it is only a relatively short walk to other places who have more shops and less eateries. There are foot bridges going across to the MGM and back towards the Tournament of Kings place so access to other p... Read more

Before you set out dressed up for a Show, Nice Dinner, Gaming or their roller coaster at NY, NY and if you are not a guest you now must pay to Valet AND to Self Park!!! Valet up to 4 hours is $13 and goes up from there; Self Park gives you 1 hour free but let's be honest; it takes 1/2 hour to get inside with little time to do much before heading back within the next 1/2 hour; that will cost you $8. I've been going to this hotel couple times a year for the past 10 years and love it. Pros. Busy night life with great dj Great staff Clean Rooms Great location Cons. Even as a registered guest they started charging a daily parking rate. Was $10 per day. They also have a $30 per day resort fee on top of you room rate. Would give five star if they even gave registered guest free parking. Hope this helps.

Overall I had a nice time at the hotel. It was a decent room with a great view from the 38th floor of the Empire tower. The room was just fine but would have really appreciated a coffee maker. I'm a "gotta have coffee first thing" kind of person and not having one of the small coffee makers was a let down. I get that they make money off of a $9.00 plus tip carafe of coffee from room service but even the Super 8 and all other chain hotels offer this amenity. They don't have a mini fridge or micro... Tried to fix it, it wasn't done unfortunately. Except that, though (which probably was only a glitch), I would recommend NY-NY. 4/5

Drinks at NewYork NewYork were on the upper end of high (18.00 for 2 12oz beer) If you went across the street to a corner store 2 24oz beer was 6.00.
