We love staying at NYNY for the following reasons (1) Easy access ON/OFF the I-15 (2) Located near the end of the strip but still close enough to walk/taxi/shuttle/monorail to the other casinos (3) Great dining (4) Wonderful staff to assist you in your needs (5) A fun casino

Well we checked in a couple of days ago for our honeymoon (still here) , we mentioned that it was our honeymoon as everyone told us to do this for an upgrade , no upgrade was offered which is fine however we did not even get a congratulations from the concierge. Room was okay and view was okay however we have two separate beds in the room and not one which is strange on a honeymoon. We also have woke up 5 minster ago at 3.30 am due to the room stinking of weed. We are both non smokers so it is v... Read more

Did not enjoy this hotel at all. The location is central but it's dated and smell of smoke the minute you step inside. The food quality is not the best. It is not suitable at all for families. Aside from the Hershey's world chocolate, there's nothing much to see or do here.

Great themed hotel, feels like you're in the Big Apple. Lots of pizza spots to sample a taste in a section of hotel looking like "The Village". Nice roller coaster for a quick thrill ride to start your Strip exploration.

Excellent and accommodating staff! Restaurants were the best! Strip view on the 12 floor! Waitresses on the gaming floor were very scarce. For the money that is spent on the gaming floor (slots) the waitresses need to be more accessible to the slot players as we left to buy drinks to get from our room as they were not available.

Stayed here during a conference and was pleasantly surprised. The elevators were close to lobby which meant you did not have to walk for miles through the casino (always helpful). Watched a soccer match at the Irish bar (so fun) and had a great light night pizza from room service. The room was comfortable with a great view of the strip

We stayed at this location during the second part of our trip to Vegas and it was much nicer than where we stayed for the first part. The hotel and rooms were very nice. We hung out at the pool/pool bar and had a blast. The casino, restaurants, shops, arcade, coaster, etc. were all enough to keep you busy. Additionally, this property is centrally located on the Strip and most areas are easily accessible from here. The only negatives were costs, to include the "daily resort fee." I don't kno... I loved starting at this hotel. The beds were soft, the showers were hot, and it's positioned perfectly for getting to some really cool attractions. But there is one thing that makes it stand out: the food. It had easily a dozen different restaurants, and I wish I could have stayed long enough to try them all. The Reuben at the "deli" was magnificent and the size of my face. The fish place was great. The crepe place was great. The donut place was great. I don't think they serve a plate of bad fo... ** Walk Through Review ** Walking along the Vegas Strip and passing New York New York is a really cool experience. The hotel manages to create a feeling of walking down a New York City block. There are bridges, skyscrapers, shops, monuments, and artworks all crammed into a short distance. There is a roller coaster that you can ride. It speeds around the New York skyline in front. Family of four with kids 18/20.... The hotel was able to get us connecting rooms which was great! The rooms are somewhat dated and there are limited outlets and other things you'd find in a new hotel. Despite the no-smoking signs, one of our rooms had clearly been full of smoke compliments of a recent patron. The lobby of the hotel has great options for food and the hotel location right on the strip allows for easy access to other venues in Vegas. It was reasonably priced for the Strip -- not ... Awesome rooms, clean,no smoke odors loved feeling like you were in a city inside your hotel without ever leaving! Staff was so friendly and had a wonderful check in experience with Eduardo who upgraded our room. Visited downtown Vegas and won some money at the Golden Nugget ! Surprisingly quiet room, even though we were right by the elevators and had the roller coaster outside our window. Went to several other hotels with casinos, but actually liked New York New York the best. It's large but not huge. We stayed here in May - was fairly average but clean and a good location near MGM and Excalibur which has good access to public transport links!good restaurants, bars inside-Irish bar in particular good for bar food and live music. No enthusiasm or energy given off by staff working the rollercoaster. No smiles or greetings. I also didn't like that we couldn't take a picture with our cell of yourself on the ride. Who does that matter too?? It's deleted and never seen again. Instead you get yelled at for pulling out your cell phone. A different approach could have been beneficial for sales but I walked away pissed instead! Killed the hype!!

The hotel is clean, maintained and rooms are clean. Lots of choices of fast food and restaurants. Starbucks, ice cream shop, Hershey's store with fresh cookies, chocolate dipped strawberries,Nathan hotdogs, California pizza, frozen daiquiris etc. I do wish the ventilation in the casino was better for the cigarette smoke, for non smokers and allergies it was rough at times. Prices for most things are a bit cheaper here which was nice but it was mostly because its a 3 star resort. But again it was just fine if you are on a budget. Service was good and food was good. Center bar served quick but second drink always took some time. Toms Urban had great service for us. Slot machine choice was pretty limited. Small casino. Sports b... Read more

My wife & I visited 4 years ago and stayed here and had an awesome time. So we decided to stay there again and it was even better than the 1st after a initial problem was solved. We arrived late at nite and went straight to our room. It was okay, but not great. Just like last visit, we didn't choose a room with a"strip view" because our last room gave us a nice side view of the strip & a view of other hotels and it's a bit less expensive. This one didn't have ANY view...It literally w... Read more

First off staff at reception awful rude until we checked out then finely received a bit of respect. Nice enough room although very small expected large twin received small room king bed to tired to complain after 11 hr flight. Casino good plenty to do and see one of the best. Restaurant lovely although very expensive. Due to hurricane Matthew our flights were cancelled to Orlando so we had to spend another 3 days, hotel staff not interested in our plight said it would cost $1100 for extra 3 day... Read more

This place was amazing! We traveled June 2016 as a couple and were upgraded to a strip view room on the 39th floor in the Chrysler Building! I would highly recommend this hotel for value, excellent customer service and a fun theme! All staff were amazing to deal with and I even won on the slots! We will be back to this hotel without a doubt!

Hotel location is really good, ABC store just over the walkway to MGM if you want less expensive snacks and souvenirs. Bus stops close by and taxis/uber easily available. Our check in and out queues were very short and the staff were all very friendly. We had the basic room with 2 double beds and it was easily big enough for 3 adults for a few days. The pizza slice place in the casino was yummy and there were a good selection of slot machines

Our room was quite comfortable, very comfortable bed. Overall hotel service was excellent. We liked the pool and the fact that we could reserve cushioned lounge chairs that came with drink service and attendants who kept the ice bucket full.

Just like all of my other Vegas reviews, I was not impressed with a single thing in this town. Everything was over the top, tacky and inappropriate. This hotel did offer larger, comfortable rooms, at least, so if you remove the over the top gimmicky nature of the theme and take it to a new location, I would improve the rating quite a bit. we were only here before our flight left out of Vegas, and actually left the room only to eat.

For a little reference, I've stayed at Planet Hollywood, Vdara and Monte Carlo on the strip. I would put the NY NY above PH and Monte Carlo but below the Vdara. It has the same problem that a lot of big hotels in Vegas has, the line to check in takes half an hour, they have 30 people in line and 5 people working and for some reason every person in line takes 5 minutes to get their room key. My room had been refurbished somewhat recently. The gym was very new, but small. Everything was prett... Read more

We stayed here as a group of 6 in 3 rooms. Luckily we were a few doors down from each other on the same floor as this hotel is a maze! If you're in a group definitely email ahead. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed but the casino floor could do with a revamp. It's quite dark and not as impressive as some of the others on the strip. However, we got a great deal so we can't complain! The rollercoaster is a must for anyone staying there too

Lots to do here and not just gambling! Good restaurants and places (Nine Fine Irishmen) to visit. A magic shop, a chocolate shop, a odd shop, and many more! The staff were helpful and nice! Stopped by reservations, concierge, bell desk, Mlife, gambling tables, and almost everywhere else. All great and the room was clean and a deal for the money. Roller coaster is FUN!

The hotel is in a great location with the city bus stop 2 minutes walk away (cheaper than taxis), an abundance of restaurants on your doorstep and a decent pool area. Broadway Burger and Grill Bar has the most amazing burgers, so do yourself a favour & go there! Overall a comfy hotel at a good price which had everything we needed. Hi I have just stayed 6 nights and while I found the rooms and staff adequate the hotel was very busy and noisy. My reason for the single star is the cost of staying there, first we paid for the room ,then we paid a resort fee and to cap it all we had to pay to get into the bar (times square )and I'm told extra for the other bars on site .It was the most expensive pint I've ever had!The whole hotel is geared towards getting your money from you,and that's before you go near the casino.

We are loving our stay at NY, NY. It's spacious, quiet & the in-room hot tub is wonderful :) We enjoyed the pool this afternoon. The Italian restaurant is delicious - we had breakfast & dinner there today & will go back tomorrow. Nine Fine Irishmen is such a great place for dinner & of course, Irish music. We got into our room early & that was great too. Have had nothing but stellar service from everyone here.

The hotel and amenities are very good, although the tub/shower with a sliding glass door could be updated. Strong smoke smell everywhere, but that's difficult to avoid. Used a friend referral to get a great discount and use the MLife card while there to get points for future discounts. Rollercoaster ride was fun and you get 2 for 1 if you stay here. Piano Bar was fun for the music and people watching.

Its a good location but the lines to check is are crazy and parking isnt much better these days. The rooms are fine but they need to be renovated soon. Once that's done, I'd consider going back.

If you are just looking for some where to sleep and are not too concerned with aging decor that is a reasonable price then i would reccommend. We transferred to the Bellagio for our last night. We actually really enjoyed our stay here however there were just a few things that prevented me giving it a 5* Firstly, upon entry to our room on the first day our toilet still had spew from our previous tenants. #vegas Also, the wifi was spotty throughout the building. I assume this is because a majority of people in the hotel/Casino were not guests. Perhaps a guest only code would solve this? Otherwise, a good hotel/casino/everything in between. Would recommend
