We love staying at NYNY for the following reasons (1) Easy access ON/OFF the I-15 (2) Located near the end of the strip but still close enough to walk/taxi/shuttle/monorail to the other casinos (3) Great dining (4) Wonderful staff to assist you in your needs (5) A fun casino

Well we checked in a couple of days ago for our honeymoon (still here) , we mentioned that it was our honeymoon as everyone told us to do this for an upgrade , no upgrade was offered which is fine however we did not even get a congratulations from the concierge. Room was okay and view was okay however we have two separate beds in the room and not one which is strange on a honeymoon. We also have woke up 5 minster ago at 3.30 am due to the room stinking of weed. We are both non smokers so it is v... Read more

Did not enjoy this hotel at all. The location is central but it's dated and smell of smoke the minute you step inside. The food quality is not the best. It is not suitable at all for families. Aside from the Hershey's world chocolate, there's nothing much to see or do here.

Great themed hotel, feels like you're in the Big Apple. Lots of pizza spots to sample a taste in a section of hotel looking like "The Village". Nice roller coaster for a quick thrill ride to start your Strip exploration.

Excellent and accommodating staff! Restaurants were the best! Strip view on the 12 floor! Waitresses on the gaming floor were very scarce. For the money that is spent on the gaming floor (slots) the waitresses need to be more accessible to the slot players as we left to buy drinks to get from our room as they were not available.

Stayed here during a conference and was pleasantly surprised. The elevators were close to lobby which meant you did not have to walk for miles through the casino (always helpful). Watched a soccer match at the Irish bar (so fun) and had a great light night pizza from room service. The room was comfortable with a great view of the strip

We stayed at this location during the second part of our trip to Vegas and it was much nicer than where we stayed for the first part. The hotel and rooms were very nice. We hung out at the pool/pool bar and had a blast. The casino, restaurants, shops, arcade, coaster, etc. were all enough to keep you busy. Additionally, this property is centrally located on the Strip and most areas are easily accessible from here. The only negatives were costs, to include the "daily resort fee." I don't kno... I loved starting at this hotel. The beds were soft, the showers were hot, and it's positioned perfectly for getting to some really cool attractions. But there is one thing that makes it stand out: the food. It had easily a dozen different restaurants, and I wish I could have stayed long enough to try them all. The Reuben at the "deli" was magnificent and the size of my face. The fish place was great. The crepe place was great. The donut place was great. I don't think they serve a plate of bad fo... ** Walk Through Review ** Walking along the Vegas Strip and passing New York New York is a really cool experience. The hotel manages to create a feeling of walking down a New York City block. There are bridges, skyscrapers, shops, monuments, and artworks all crammed into a short distance. There is a roller coaster that you can ride. It speeds around the New York skyline in front. We wanted to give it a go, but we just ran out of time. The interior was cool with more decorations that made you f... Read more

Family of four with kids 18/20.... The hotel was able to get us connecting rooms which was great! The rooms are somewhat dated and there are limited outlets and other things you'd find in a new hotel. Despite the no-smoking signs, one of our rooms had clearly been full of smoke compliments of a recent patron. The lobby of the hotel has great options for food and the hotel location right on the strip allows for easy access to other venues in Vegas. It was reasonably priced for the Strip -- not ... Loved our four day getaway! My husband has been to Vegas several times however this was my first and enjoyed every minute! Awesome rooms, clean,no smoke odors loved feeling like you were in a city inside your hotel without ever leaving! Staff was so friendly and had a wonderful check in experience with Eduardo who upgraded our room. Visited downtown Vegas and won some money at the Golden Nugget ! Will definitely be back although this time when the pools open!

The room was very clean and well maintained. It isn't as modern as some other hotels. But for the price you get a nice room in a good location. I had no problems with my room. The maids kept the room clean. Plenty of towels, etc.

Surprisingly quiet room, even though we were right by the elevators and had the roller coaster outside our window. Went to several other hotels with casinos, but actually liked New York New York the best. It's large but not huge. You get that crazy Las Vegas vibe without getting lost or having to walk for half an hour just to buy some coffee. Switched room 3 times and realized that there were no big difference between the cheaper rooms. Our first room (park avenue) was actually more recently r... Read more

We stayed here in May - was fairly average but clean and a good location near MGM and Excalibur which has good access to public transport links!good restaurants, bars inside-Irish bar in particular good for bar food and live music. Only issues were temperature in casino (was ridiculously cold!), room was quite dark and we were next to an ice machine which was v noisy! All in all though good value for money!

We stayed in the Park suite for two nights during a Labor Day Weekend. Excellent location in the Strip. The room was clean and spacious and very nicely decorated. It was super quiet and I really enjoyed my staying! The hotel is so nicely decorated and very well maintained at all times. There were a lot of dining options; we tried the Il Fornaio for dinner and the Tom's Urban for brunch and cocktails. Both were quite good. And of course the theme of New York can never go wrong! the room was nice - Park Ave Queen - nice amount of space but NO coffee maker - why not?? isn't the current(in vogue) BS resort fee enough to warrant a lousy packaged coffee.? MY real problem is the Very slow asian woman who checked me in and purposely gave me far away from the elevator when a month before i requested. For that reason alone I WILL NOT recommend this hotel. YOu cannot have that kind of employee!!!

The room we got was a 1 bedroom suite and it was everything I expected. The pool was wonderful, not too many people and the water was just right. I can sum it it up by saying "I loved my stay at. NY NY is a great hotel with lots of amenities, restaurants, and casino options. The only negative I can say about this hotel is the location to the other hotels on the strip. The hotel is located more towards the North end of the strip and across the street from the monorail.

No enthusiasm or energy given off by staff working the rollercoaster. No smiles or greetings. I also didn't like that we couldn't take a picture with our cell of yourself on the ride. Who does that matter too?? It's deleted and never seen again. Instead you get yelled at for pulling out your cell phone. A different approach could have been beneficial for sales but I walked away pissed instead! Killed the hype!!

The hotel is clean, maintained and rooms are clean. Lots of choices of fast food and restaurants. Starbucks, ice cream shop, Hershey's store with fresh cookies, chocolate dipped strawberries,Nathan hotdogs, California pizza, frozen daiquiris etc. I do wish the ventilation in the casino was better for the cigarette smoke, for non smokers and allergies it was rough at times. Small tables and chairs out on strip was nice, when you want to relax and people watch nice place to do that.

Can't recommend highly enough. Of all the casinos I've frequented, NYNY is the only one that has a highly comfortable, fun, relaxing, and balanced ambiance. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, arcade/roller coaster are great, comfortable and spacious rooms, good dining options, and a great selection of slots (varying from pennies to $10 and up) and tables. Love the Three Card Poker!

Well this Hotel is huge, 2040 odd rooms. Upon arrival you walk thru the casino to get to the reception desk! There was always a huge line of people waiting to check in, night and day. After check in, you again wander amongst the poker machines to find the right set of elevators to access your room. The hotels theme is New York so all the various towers of accommodation represent buildings in New York, the same with the huge range of eateries downstairs.
