I didnt like that they charged to park your car. Overall my experience at the Monte Carlo was very good. The staff at check in were friendly, valet was great. The rooms were nice and clean the beds were great. I liked the pool and service they provided.

My husband and I have been to Las Vegas several times in the last few years, however we have not stayed at the Monte Carlo. We loved the Monte Carlo. The staff were amazing, we loved pool area as well as all the amenities and shops in the plaza. It will be the Monte Carlo from now on!

This hotel is easily accessible though somewhat overshadowed by its classier neighbours - sadly this is was really evident in the hotel rooms. The bathroom in particular didn't feel luxurious (old shower curtain, not particularly attractive fixtures and fittings) and the decor in the main room we stayed in was shabby (scuffs all over the walls, tired carpets, not the expected facilities). The corridors of the hotel felt particularly underwhelming. We only stayed a night but had we more time we'... Read more

On our first visit to Las Vegas, I booked a room at the Monte Carlo because of its location on The Strip and reviews. After a long drive, we were happy to stretch our legs! Parking was easy, and at that time, free. A nice pedestrian bridge from the parking structure made for a easy stroll to the lobby. Check in went well, and we were soon in our room. I suspect because I got a good "online special" rate, we were given a handicap room. I don't have a problem with that in general, but the bathroom... Read more

Had a great experience with the Monte Carlo staff. Lots of friendly faces, lots of fun experiences. Will definitely come by soon again for another vacation. I would definitely recommend it to either my friends or family. Room service was great. Pool staff was great. Buffet was great. Overall great.

Upon reading numerous bad reviews about Monte Carlo, to say the least, I was nervous upon checking in, BUT once entering my room, I knew I had to write a review myself, because my observations were GREAT! The lobby was beautiful, the check in process was very smooth. We were allowed to check in early without any hassle at all. Once we got to our room, which was just a standard room with 2 queens, we were highly impressed. The room was very clean and large! Bathroom was terrific. We had zero ... Read more

I was very happy with our stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made every step of our trip easy. Lazy river and wave pool were well maintained and fun! Our room was pretty typical for most hotels on the strip, but always clean and updated.

The title pretty much says it all, Great pork loin at the buffet. I slept like a baby when i finally hit the sack, which was quite late. parking is close to the check in desk, check in is close to the room elevators. the room elevator design is total genius, i never waited for more than 15 seconds for an elevator. The layout of the place is superbly planned. It was very easy to find anything i was looking for

Dirty room and carpet, old furniture - just dated and worn. No frig or microwave unless you want to pay extra. The staff was nice enough but this place needs some updating. Good location though on the strip.

-comfortable bed -clean shower -responsive reception -we enjoyed the breakfast and late dinner around the hotel which are just in walking distances. -no shower tools(shampoo, soap)! -crowded swimming pools, the area dedicated to pools is small... We were not able to use them during our 3 days of stay in the hotel.

As someone that has been to Vegas many times, I was apprehensive when visiting during the March Madness tournament. It was the priciest time of year so we settled for something a little more unfamiliar to us that was a little cheaper. We were impressed with the nearby transportation options (tram) and how clean and new looking the casino was. Two in-house Starbucks helps too.

So you have to pay for parking now. And the hotel sells their parking spaces to the T-Mobile Arena for concerts. Came back to hotel after a long night to park in the space I paid for and was told I couldn't park because the structure was full! Drove around the strip which took an hour and was allowed to park in valet which I told I wasn't going to be charged for. Wrong! Upon checkout they tried to charge me $13 for that nights parking. The manager waived all my parking fees but it wasn't enough ... Read more

Stayed at the Monte Carlo for one night as we were driving onto San Diego. A lot of outdoor construction going on. The hotel itself was clean but the rooms lacked in its decor. The room price was reasonable for what the rooms looked like. Vegas has gotten to commercialized and costly to have much fun these days.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel in June 2016. The hotel was busy, but not too big (in comparison to some of the other hotels). The rooms were large, clean and functional. There wasn't much noise considering we were staying on the strip. There were multiple places to get food in the hotel, and a 24 hour shop that sold essentials. Will defiantly look to book here again when I return to Vegas.

Sink was not cleaned and there was a ball of hair next to the shower. Toilet had a low quality flush and required multiple flushes. First let me start by stating that I have been to Vegas many times and have stayed at several hotel properties. I specifically chose this hotel b/c of the pool area. They have a wave pool and lazy river and the price was slightly better than Mirage (should have just stayed there instead). Completely disappointed, first and foremost the long line for checking in ridiculous even for 1am even if I'm a gold member of the mlife program. We used to stay at the monte carlo every time we came to Vegas and enjoyed it very much, but this place is in need of some extensive refurbishing which appears to be underway. You feel you are staying in a construction zone which by walking outside you find you are. The rooms need new everything, papering, carpeting, tile, fixtures. Excellent location, close to all the main clubs on the strip. very reasonable price, comfortable and clean. Even when I have had to book last minute, their prices have always been quite reasonable whereas some of the other hotels jack up their prices significantly. also the rates for a twin room are much more reasonable than the other hotels. we had two comfortable queen size beds. only downside i found was that there was no fridge within the room. overall a very good 4 star hotel.
