I didnt like that they charged to park your car. Overall my experience at the Monte Carlo was very good. The staff at check in were friendly, valet was great. The rooms were nice and clean the beds were great. I liked the pool and service they provided.

This hotel is easily accessible though somewhat overshadowed by its classier neighbours - sadly this is was really evident in the hotel rooms. The bathroom in particular didn't feel luxurious (old shower curtain, not particularly attractive fixtures and fittings) and the decor in the main room we stayed in was shabby (scuffs all over the walls, tired carpets, not the expected facilities). The corridors of the hotel felt particularly underwhelming. We only stayed a night but had we more time we'... Read more

On our first visit to Las Vegas, I booked a room at the Monte Carlo because of its location on The Strip and reviews. After a long drive, we were happy to stretch our legs! Parking was easy, and at that time, free. A nice pedestrian bridge from the parking structure made for a easy stroll to the lobby. Check in went well, and we were soon in our room. I suspect because I got a good "online special" rate, we were given a handicap room. I don't have a problem with that in general, but the bathroom... Read more

Upon reading numerous bad reviews about Monte Carlo, to say the least, I was nervous upon checking in, BUT once entering my room, I knew I had to write a review myself, because my observations were GREAT! The lobby was beautiful, the check in process was very smooth. We were allowed to check in early without any hassle at all. Once we got to our room, which was just a standard room with 2 queens, we were highly impressed. The room was very clean and large! Bathroom was terrific. We had zero ... Read more

The title pretty much says it all, Great pork loin at the buffet. I slept like a baby when i finally hit the sack, which was quite late. parking is close to the check in desk, check in is close to the room elevators. the room elevator design is total genius, i never waited for more than 15 seconds for an elevator. The layout of the place is superbly planned. It was very easy to find anything i was looking for

As someone that has been to Vegas many times, I was apprehensive when visiting during the March Madness tournament. It was the priciest time of year so we settled for something a little more unfamiliar to us that was a little cheaper. We were impressed with the nearby transportation options (tram) and how clean and new looking the casino was. Two in-house Starbucks helps too.

So you have to pay for parking now. And the hotel sells their parking spaces to the T-Mobile Arena for concerts. Came back to hotel after a long night to park in the space I paid for and was told I couldn't park because the structure was full! Drove around the strip which took an hour and was allowed to park in valet which I told I wasn't going to be charged for. Wrong! Upon checkout they tried to charge me $13 for that nights parking. Stayed at the Monte Carlo for one night as we were driving onto San Diego. A lot of outdoor construction going on. The hotel itself was clean but the rooms lacked in its decor. My partner and I stayed in this hotel in June 2016. The hotel was busy, but not too big (in comparison to some of the other hotels). The rooms were large, clean and functional. There wasn't much noise considering we were staying on the strip. There were multiple places to get food in the hotel, and a 24 hour shop that sold essentials. Will defiantly look to book here again when I return to Vegas.

We spent 3 nights in Las vegas and literally only needed the room for a couple of hours of sleep per night and a hot shower and the Monte Carlo was perfect for this. Right on the Las Vegas strip the Monte Carlo is right in the heart of all the action. The rooms are comfortable and although needing a little attention for the price it was value for money.

Never stayed here before, but would return. They are starting some renovations now, but nothing more than normal wear & tear stuff. I've stayed at Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Ballys and Wynn, and I would say, for the price, Monte Carlo (package with buffets) was the best "value".

The room is fine although a bit dated as other reviews have stated. My biggest gripe is that we had booked a few months ago online because we saw the pool complex looked really good. There was no mention of it being closed for construction at the time of booking, nor was there any notification that it would be closed by the time we arrived. So only on arrival did we find out that the pool complex is closed, which was the whole reason for booking here. They said that we can use the MGM Grand Poo... Read more

My partner and I had booked the Monte Carlo due to its location and price! This isn't going to be a top end hotel, but the price isn't either! It is nice inside, we were on the 29th floor with a strip view and the room was, dated but lovely all the same! The pool was closed and we were advised we could use the MGM pool (by a letter in our room not by staff on check in). The MGM pool is a bit of a trek and is ALWAYS FULL so I wouldn't bother going across. This trip was the first proper holiday ... Read more

Stayed here for a week, 5th time to Vegas and we always try to stay somewhere different. Such good value for money, we upgraded our room so we had a strip view, we bagged a view of the pool too. Pool area is really well maintained, they've got a large swimming pool, a wave pool and a lazy river, you can purchase an inflatable ring to float around in too. It was pretty difficult to get a spot on the sun loungers, we actually had our towels moved by some rude individuals whilst in the bathroom. T... Read more

This was our last day on our trip. We stayed here at the recommendation of my sister. It needs updating. Rooms were fairly clean, quiet and comfortable. Cushions on chairs need to be replaced; that is, you sink a mile into the chair when you sit. There was a nasty staple on the carpet that would have caused major damage to my foot if it hadn't been seen & picked up. Cigarette smoke permeates throughout, carpeting has wrinkles in the hallway. This hotel is located on the LV Strip as a typical property. It does have a free tram service running from the hotel up to the Bellagio with an intermediate stop at Aria / Citycenter, among the few inexplicably disjointed free trams on the west side of the Strip while there is an official regular monorail on the east side requiring a paid fare. That makes it convenient to see the amazing Water Fountain musical plus light spectacle at the Bellagio amid the pedestrian obstacles on the Strip -- i... Read more

We had a great time at the Monte Carlo. We stayed in the low-end room. No microwave, no fridge in the room. The rooms are clean, the staff is cordial. We didn't gamble, but we did enjoy the pool area with a slowly flowing pool that allows you to float around (and drink) in a tube. Very enjoyable. They have a wave pool, jacuzzi and a swimming pool. This is the third time that my wife and I have stayed at the Monte Carlo. The staff both hotel and casino have always been very nice and helpful. They are in the midst of doing some updates to their show room and some of their restaurants. What we love about this casino is that is isn't one of mega casinos that take forever to walk through and there are always table available to sit at outside along the strip.

The check in line was very long! The rooms are terrible. I walked in and walked right back out. The furniture was worn and dated. The sofa was stained as well as the walls. The blanket on the bed even had a hole in it. To top it off, they gave me complimentary drink tickets which were expired. If you plan on being drunk the entire stay maybe this is the place for you because you just won't care. Summary - Don't do it!
