"The Mirage is an excellent hotel, all of the staff members were ready and willing to help at any time. We did have a room issue in the beginning due to our plane being delayed. We were told we would get the room originally requested the following day. Unfortunately due to noise and the location of the room given sleeping was an issue.
We were told we would be moved at the earliest possible time and credited the resort fees. Once moved, we ended up with a suite with a strip/volcano view. A wonderful room. At checkout we discovered that they had also credited our account for three nights of the stay. I will definitely go back to this hotel, as they really work to keep you happy and your business coming back."

"This was my first time going to Vegas and the Mirage was great! The check in process was really quick, they even let us check in early (11am) with no hassle. The room was really nice, the beds were comfortable. One thing that I wish was included was the use of a fridge! I like to have really cold water and wasn't able to do that. I mean you get ice from the vending area but I had to literally search for a floor where the ice machine worked. Another strange thing was that they had only come to clean our room once the 4 days we were there. Other than that our stay was really great. The pools were nice and so were all the staff that we encountered. Food there is somewhat spendy, we went to their coffee shop/bakery and spent $5 for an latte and $10 for a breakfast sandwich which was a little ridiculous. I also wished they had offered more perks for guests staying at the hotel as we went to the Beatles Love show and wanted to go to the dolphin area but felt like $20 was kind of ridiculous. The bars/restaurants in the hotel were really good. We went to 1Oak and ate at the burger place (which was delicious!). Overall a really good stay and if I ever go to Vegas again, I would stay at this hotel."

"We were pleased with the Mirage Hotel and Casino, we had a very fast check in, our room was nice and clean. Only thing missing was a coffee maker. Starbucks was in the casino but way to overpriced. Also, there were hotel staff out side the elevators at night that were stopping people and asking to see room keys. I found some of them to be a little on the rude side. I had my hands full of bags and had to stop to dig out my key. For the most part we found our hotel stay very pleasant. They could have offered some perks for guests.

"My husband and I took a trip to Vegas to celebrate our 31st anniversary.
The hotel is very nice, but think most of the staff was not as friendly as could have been, as well as the cocktail waitresses. We found that some of the other casinos had much friendlier staff. The guy who checked us in was nice though.
We didn't realize there was a $25 resort fee a day. Maybe it was something overlooked when we booked the trip. The room we had did not have a good view at all. The bath tub had rust in it. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean."

Because the hotel is older, we had some issues with things not working properly (t.v., phone, shower). When brought to the attention of the staff, we were credited part of our resort fee."

"We arrived 6 hours early and got to check in ! That was the first good thing. We had a room with a view of the strip, the second good thing. the bed was very comfortable, showers were hot, bathroom clean. Everything was well stocked and the front desk folks were always very helpful when we needed directions or help with anything. We are not big gamblers, so cannot comment on that, the restaurants bars were also awesome. The pool opened the day we arrived and the temps were above average, so we also got to enjoy time out there. They were beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel and casino. We would definately return."

"The Mirage was a very nice place to stay. It is centrally located so you can see alot from that part of the strip. The hotel was very nice and clean. The casino was nice, if you were gambling they would come around with drinks, very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge desk was helpful as we need to print our boarding passes for the flight home and they helped me with that.
The bed was very comfortable, clean room, everything we needed.

"Good Points:
Great Casino-had a wide variety of slots (not sure why they dedicated so much rea lestate for the high rollers - the area was empty all the time)
Bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in!!
Everything was clean and neat.
Food was good-BLT Burger the best.
Loved the dolphin and Tiger area.
We went to see Carrot Top at another casino but way worth it-he was hilarious!!!
Bad Points:
Minibar-They say you have a fridge but, you dont. Its a stocked one with their items only and no area for anything you might want to put in there. If you move anything in that minifridge/bar, you will be charged for using it. There is no room in the fridge to put anything in there such as leftovers, store bought items etc..We tried to put waters in there 'around' the minibar stuff and was charged for using 6 items -they fixed it for us with no hassle but, I do not like that they are basically forcing you to use their stuff.
No Coffee Pot
Although we expected the resort fee, did not realize it was for treadmills only NO free weights-Thats another 28$/pp. That is crazy!!!
Could not find pool chairs either day we were there so they need to have enough to accomodate the guests. That was a BIG miss!! And we went out there early...:(
The first night we were there no cocktail service was seen (maybe because a Weds?) .
The other 'sister' resorts had food courts-cheaper meal options which in my opinion, is nice if you are on a budget. There is not option like this at the mirage.
Overall the resort is nice,clean and comfortable. Its just all the amenities are expensive ....And the pool area is way too crowded.....

"I am torn in writing this review... for I have stayed at the Mirage Hotel and Casino several times before and recommended our staying there to my newlywed wife for our anniversary/honeymoon we never had.
Upon checking into the hotel, our front desk personnel heard of our joyous occasion and willingly upgraded our accommodations from a standard room to a tower suite,which was wonderful!
Upon settling in my wife, not being one to complain, found she needed to wear shower shoes in our bathroom because of the grossly noticeable build up of soap scum and mildew.... she was willing to look the other way, since we had been graciously upgraded, until something happened.
Returning from the pool, my wife decided to shower and clean up for the evening ahead, and I went down to play some poker. Mind you, the room had already been cleaned by the housekeeping staff that day. After about 10 min from my departure from the room, My wife heard a key card unlock the door and it swing open hard next to the wide open bathroom door and shower! She called out to see if it was me.... but it was not! A man said hurriedly 'maintenance... I'll be back later' and quickly left.... This scared the hell out of my wife being completely vulnerable and naked, fore there was no knock at the door before his entrance, nor any call for maintenance from us nor the hotel staff! Who was this person, and why was he coming into our room, unannounced, and without orders to do so?!?! Theft???? Nobody seemed to be able to find out who this was or why he was there.... a food credit was all that was offered for some staff member breaking into our room.... My wife and I will never return to the Mirage Hotel & Casino Las Vegas!"

"This hotel is amazing! There is a huge aquarium behind the front desk, gorgeous flowers everywhere, an amazing waterfall inside the lobby. The room was awesome. I fell in love with their basil & limon toiletries so much that i buy them & have them shipped to my house & use them for when i want to feel pampered & special. lol The food is to die for. We ate at carnegie deli, california pizza kitchen & bb king's blues bar & the servings they give you are huge. Very filling. You definitely get your money's worth. The shopping is great. I went to kardashian khaos, sugar fatory, impulse & loved every minute of it. The pool is beautiful & the secret garden was awesome. Plus the location rocks. Middle ways on the strip so you have lots to do on either side of the hotel. LOVED IT!!!!"

"We stayed for my bday weekend, the hotel sent me a bottle of champagne!! Such a nice surprise! Check in and check out were quick. The staff was very helpful when we had questions. Our flight was a bit later than check out, they allowed us to have a later check out date at no charge. We rented a car from Enterprise because it was cheaper than the rental company avis which is right at the hotel. Enterprise was only about 3 blocks away and we walked there to pick up the car, got a cab back which was about $10. We went to Kokamo's restaurant in the hotel which was so delicious, also pretty expensive. I suggest not over-ordering because if you have left overs, you can't store it in the fridge. We took out some items from the fridge to store our leftovers, and got charged for them b/c the fridge has a scale in it and knows if you take anything out!! We obviously didn't eat or drink anything from the fridge so I got the $150 charge credited back to me."

"The hotel was overall fine. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant and the room was spacious and clean. The only problem was the pool closing at 5:00pm. One night they were having an event so they started to set up at 4:00pm and picking up chairs and closing off areas even sooner than that. Other than that I would stay again."

Otherwise satisfactory for a mid-LasVegas-strip accommodation. oExpress check-out contained billing errors, which had to be corrected at the desk. "AWESOME hotel! We got a free room upgrade as soon as we got there. Staff was wonderful! So many fun things to do inside the hotel, always giving away free things. LOVED the Rum-bar! We had so much fun having drinks outside. 100% would reccomend this hotel, I will be re-staying here in march. I also loved doing the book-it packages with this hotel, they really made you feel great when you checked in and it was super easy and fast. LOVED IT! Cant wait to come back!!!"

"Everything was great except for the smoke smell in our room and the casino! We are not used to that since in Ohio it is against the law to smoke indoors. I didn't want to stay in the casino because of it."

"Not a very good stay. After a night of partying came back up to the room. Wet to go take a shower and there was no hot water. Apparently the hotel cuts off the hot water between 12am and 5am. Not happy as I wanted to shower. Went to go set the alarm to wake me up and the alarm clock radio did not work. When I pulled the night table to see if the radio needed to be plugged in I found a bunch of trash under the table from a prior visit. Disgusting. Then I found the alarm clock radio did not have a cord, cord was missing. Wondered of they did this on purpose to reduce electricity strain. The convenience of having the elevators right next to the Revolution Lounge which got us to our room quickly was out weighed by the disaster in the room. Won't be staying there again"

"The staff at this hotel were outstanding, from the excellent service at the front desk to the exemplary service of the bellman that handled our luggage when we left. The blackjack dealer was wonderfull, and his pit boss was the greatest, both made me feel at ease during my first attempt at playing play black jack in a casino. The beds and pillows used in the hotel were the best I have ever slept on. It was such a great experience I plan on a return trip in the next few months. I highly recommend this Hotel and Casino to everyone.
The only bad experiance we had with our trip was with a private limo company that was used in our package with book it. The limo company was 'Bell Trans' VIP luxury streach limo service. Their drivers were great but the company was a disaster. I will never use that sevice again."

"Just returned from a 4day, 3 night stay at this hotel. This is my third trip to Las Vegas, and my first and my last stay at this hotel. I found that dispite its recent upgrades the rooms where still run down. It was extremely noisy in our room, the window did not seal properly thus allowing the music etc from the street to be heard, the tub did not drain when you had a shower. I found that housekeeping was also not that great. When we arrived the rugs where not vacumed there where hairs in the tub and on the toilet. With so many other options in this city, I wont bother going back and staying at the Mirage...just my honest opinion., also we where with a group celebrating a 40th birthday, the hotel does not reserve rooms, dispite having emailed and called about the nature of our trip. They just didnt seem to be that interested in giving us the best costumer service, I will return to Vegas as I love this city, but I will stay elsewhere."

"We loved the hotel. The rooms were pretty nice although our bathroom was not the greatest. The shower head was out of control and sprayed all over the floor when you open the curtain, paint was chipping on the door way, the door was rusted, and the tub itself was chipped. We asked to change rooms and they took care of that for us, so we were happy with the customer service. Overall this hotel has a great laid back atmosphere...highly recommended."

"Everything was great. The staff was incredibly nice and no matter what they were doing they always greeted me and were very helpful.
The only reason it wasn't perfect was check-in was a bit unorganized with the flow of the lines and there was some what of a wait, but once you were checked in it's smooth sailing.
Also the clean up crew (so so nice though) woke me up because they were yelling across the hallway to each other (work related) but very loud and I couldn't go back to sleep."

"Wonderful hotel stay. We were located close to the shows and concerts. The staff very helpful and friendly. Cab starters very accomodating. Our meals there were very nice and a great value. A super location for McCarran International Airport (LAS).
The waiting area for tour busses was good too.
Elevator service to rooms was especially nice, and the security near the elevators was welcome. The hotel room area was very quiet and peaceful.
We especially enjoyed the Secret Garden."

"Mirage staff excellent. Nice & clean room. View was a building unfortunately. However, was in room for sleeping only. locations is very good: center of strip. Food choices at Mirage are poor and reccomend other hotels for something that is not fried or just fatty. Cafe by the pool id the best choice at Mirage.
Will never fly Spirit Airlines again; worst experience of flying in 40 years. Ticket does not include seat or carry on luggage or taxes, etc. Seats are sardine-like; very uncomfortable!
Vegas shows were spectacular."

"Every year we have come to your Hotel and had an excellent experience. The only complaint is that the Towels are not as soft as we would like for a Fancy Hotel. And we had 4 people in our room and each day only given 3towels daily. Every day we had to ask room service for more."

"I had an absolutely wonderful time in Vegas!! The Mirage is located perfectly on the Las Vegas strip! I loved the atmosphere of this hotel. The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is we had a room on the 25th floor (top floor) and the air was SO DRY! Our room was never cool (important when the weather outside is in the 100's!) My nose is still hurting from our dry/hot room 3 weeks later! But, on the other hand, this hotel is nice and the casino is clean. Not to mention we paid $800 for our room just for the weekend! PRICEY!!!!"

"Our first time to fly and to visit Vegas. We loved it. THe Mirage was clean and so conveniant to everything that you don't need to rent a car to go anywhere, just wish we could have had more time to spend there to see more. The show Love was absolutley wonderful. It is a must see and I will if I get to come back and hopefully another show. I just hope to come back soon. There was so much to do, it was overwhelming."

"I surprised my husband with a birthday gift - first time to Vegas for the both of us. Amazing and overwhelming experience. A friend reco'd we stay at the Mirage and I couldn't have picked a better location. Loved the view of the strip, room was fabulous and of course the pool was an amazing way to cool down in the desert heat. Staff was friendly all around and for first timers we were so central we walked to practically all the surrounding hotels. Two thumbs up!!"
