Hotel is spacious. The rooms were clean and had a mini bar that had snacks and drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Since there are sensors, be careful not to move that which you do not consume, it will be billed automatically. There are many activities for adults and families. Lots of choices for dinning with moderate to high prices. I especially liked the casual dress code and there are many swimming pool options. Access to the tram allowed for easier trips to the main avenue.

I stayed at Mandalay from 6/6-6/9/2016. It was a great place and enhanced my short vacation. Staff was pleasant and professional. The room was nicely appointed with a 46" Samsung TV. The room was clean and comfortable. The environment was quiet and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed the two closets and double sinks. I enjoyed Mandalay Beach. The check-in/check-out process was smooth. This is a great resort for all ages. I recommend staying here without reservations. It is a 4 s... Read more

3 nights here was not enough. My 60th floor spacious room, with views of The Strip was awesome. In room wifi was fine, but not available everywhere ( minor complaint ). Only other complaint is the very long checkin lines, very long. Facilities are all first class, and all staff I dealt with were polite and professional. Finally , of course, the pool areas are out of this world. You do not have to leave this resort for anything ( other than a show ).

What an amazing place, to stay, eat and drink! Attention to detail, comfortable and the views are incredible. Although I have stayed here before it has only got better with age. One of the best in Vegas and you must walk and I mean WALK to the Bellaggio in the evening. People watching here is infectious.

Pros: The standard room in Mandalay Bay is more than 500sq ft. The deco and amenities in the room was very nice/comfortable....separate bath tub AND shower stall, toilet with privacy door, double closet, spacious room, luxurious beddings; amazing pools incl lazy river, wave pool. Con: Toilet flush was waaaayyy too loud; no free in room coffee.

For us, with a 1 year old son, it's all about the pool. But come to think of it, it's always been about the wave pool, lazy river, and even the kiddie pool. We don't gamble and we don't wish to cruise the strip to check out all the touristy stuff. Before marriage, the kiddie pool was a cool spot to meet girls. Now it's ideal for our son who just loves the mini water falls on the far end. Our opinion is that the Mandalay is the best bang for your buck. Nice place, not too expensive if you t... Read more

If you don't want to be right in the mix of the strip, you will love this place. Very close to airport (10 minutes). Cool dining options in hotel as well as Shoppes in between Mandalay and Luxor. I had one weird issue with the hotel room because a couple of items from the maintenance staff were left behind the curtains which caused me to think the room was not cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been. Visited the Mandalay bay in April for a work convention. It was great the room had the most amazing view of the strip. The device was a little lacking as checkin took forever even on a Tuesday night. Additionally they lost of credit authorization so we couldn't get our keys to work. The management was great though and fixed it all.

Stayed here a second time for a work convention and both times were great. The resort is very large and has quite a few different convention centres and rooms. There is a nice lazy river and family area pool with lots to do both inside and out. The casino is very nice and large, pretty open and a lot of different style slots and tables. These were very nice though none were winners for me. When staying here ask for a street view room as there is a lot to see as well as a great view of the airpor... Read more

In June there are tons of families and kids. Pools are crowded, wave pool with beach sand is too! Lazy river is nice but crowded. If you are not into kids and crowds not the place for you (in June). There are a couple of quieter lagoons, where it is best for adults only. Beach shops and food and drinks available as if you were on a boardwalk at a real beach. Nicely done, have to go through this sales area to get to the beach and most of the lagoons. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms spacious... Read more

I loved this place many years ago. Spent a small fortune every time I visited; then things went south. The service and costumer service fell dramatically. Recently, last weekend, we decided to give the facility another chance, mistake! From the check in to the check out we had problems or bad service. Even the buffet food was worrisome, warm when it should be hot, or warm when it should be cold; we actually left thinking a long night in the ugly bathrooms. The saving grace was the pool/caba... I was excited to see there was a special on rooms at reasonable price, however, very disappointed at the long, long lines at check in and the non caring attitude of the employees. Perhaps overworked and underpaid, or just tired of rude vistors, not sure. But staff didn't provide "exceptional customer service". During the time we were there, there were many many families with children and young adults. So if you are trying to get away for some relaxing quiet time, this is NOT the place. Both... Read more

Overall, my stay at the Mandalay Bay was memorable. I will start with check-in, which was a breeze. Although they did take a while to send the status of my room via text message. I was already in my room when I received the text and that was due to me asking for an extra access card. The rooms are awesome! Per usual, the bed was really comfortable. The pool was my favorite part in particular because of the beach vibe they have with sand and the wave imitation.

The hotel is very nice, stayed at a resort king room and it was spacious and comfortable. When checking in the lines are long but they do have plenty of employees working. Parking now cost $10 per day on top of the $38 resort fee. So if you're renting a car keep that in mind. The pool was outstanding, from the wave pool to the smaller pools and lazy river. I've stayed at Mandalay Bay too many times to count and it, along with the Delano, are the only places I stay in Vegas. Mandalay uses that space wisely to create an open feel instead of cramming in as much as they can and this makes you feel a lot more comfortable. Now with regards to staying at a Vegas hotel, I have to say that the best advice anyone can give is to read the reviews of your destination hotel (good job, you're doing it). It's important to set proper expectations. One of the things that can sneak up your room bill is early-check-in / late-check-out fees. Mandalay Bay has them, so buyer beware. We stayed at Mandalay Bay during their down season, but still found it was nicely laid out and a fun environment. Located at the far end of the strip, there will be lots and lots of walking if you want to do.. anything. But, if you are like us and like to walk around and burn off all the food/booze you are consuming, then this is the place for you! Room was really nice, clean, huge bathroom.

We had a conference at the Mandalay Bay and stayed at the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful! The rooms were also gorgeous! I didn't hear anything from outside or from other rooms, which was nice. Our room probably had the best hotel room layouts that I've seen, with an incredible and large bathroom. The only issue I had was when we got there, 2 out of the three rooms were smoking. The Mandalay Bay is a lovely hotel, but the location is aweful! Even though it's one of the older hotels on the strip it certainly didn't feel like it! Everything is beautifully updated, the room was great, and the service top notch. The downside is that it is located at the very end of the strip and it's difficult and/or expensive to get to the areas where the action is. We decided to give this hotel a try since they had a nice incentive package which made the price competitive to other hot... Read more

Super staff from the front desk to the concierge to housekeeping! Clean non-smoking room with comfy bed, many towels, and deep tub. Bummer about the mini-fridge being stocked with impulse-buy-stuff, so I couldn't use it to keep my own beverages cold. Even the in-room coffee will be charged to your account. It's a nice place, but the nickle & diming wore on me by the third day. Never made it to the beaches, but looked nice.

Food: just ok at the various restaurants. (See my other reviews) All in all, a good, reliable and fun Vegas hotel!

I stayed at the Mandalay Bay early October purely for an IT conference. This was my very first trip to Vegas so I had no idea what to expect. Our rooms were pre-booked and I can honestly say I loved it and would definitely return for a personal trip. I was on the 29th floor, with a view to the mountains. It was quiet, with a big bathroom, great bed and I really enjoyed retreating to it and just left my curtains open at night to take in the view. Since I wasn‚??t (really) there to party hard, I c... We stayed for three nights to attend an auto auction. The property is HUGE and required lots and lots of walking. We were really sorry that we didn't take our tennis shoes! The room was nice, bathroom was well designed w/double sinks and separates shower/deep tub. We were disappointed that the tub wasn't jetted, but it still worked well for a nice soak. The concierge was awesome!!! One suggestion: provide a map of the resort, at least in the room!!!

This is a beautiful resort style casino at the south end of the strip. It is the last casino on the strip so you feel somewhat removed from the rest of the action ( which is a positive and negative) at times which makes you feel a little exclusive. The casino floor is wide open with high ceilings so is feels massive in comparison to all the other places I've visited. I also love how many different restaurants are available. $20 upgrade room's A/C unit was very noisy and maintenance request didn't fix it, and I was charged for an in-room refreshment item I didn't use. Even though it was 80 degrees outside, all pools were closed for the season except the Moorea Beach Club which blasts techno-disco music, is extremely crowded and charges extra for a decent chair. Dining options were mediocre over-priced food. The resort looks nice, but there's not much behind the façade.

Mandalay Bay Event Center must be the WORST venue on the Las Vegas strip for shows and/or concerts. The seats are compact and low to the ground.
