"We got a deal with a great price for The LVH ; however, even with the great deal I would not go back for one reason alone - the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of our room. First thing, I noticed after shutting our room door was what looked like a dirty maxi pad twisted up and stuck in our peephole of the door. Second thing, was our toilet was cracked and missing pieces. Third thing, the shower was a brown marble (?) and therefore looked like there was poo thrown around it. Fourth thing, the rust marks going down the bathroom wall from the sink piping. Fifth thing, our bath towels smelled like they used them for cooking with oily food. I can handle older hotels that aren't updated, but they HAVE to be clean and The LVH just wasn't. Plus we went down to the pool and before you hit the walk-thru cabana where you get your towels, there were lounge chairs that looked like they were occupied by homeless people that were passed out :/
Nothing against the staff, but just our room and the dirtiness of the establishment."

"I've stayed at the LVH quite a few times. Its always been a nice place to stay. This trip I was booked into a supposedly non-smoking room but when I got to the room someone had obviously been smoking in there.
*PLEASE SMOKERS!! GET A SMOKING ROOM! THE STENCH LINGERS!!*
The front desk staff switched rooms for me without any problem and apologized profusely.
My new room had a beautiful view! It was clean and very roomy but the carpet looked like it could have used a cleaning. The linens were nice. The bed however, was HORRIBLE! I could feel the wires in the mattress even through the down comforter under the bottom sheet. Thank God the bed was dressed with some huge floppy pillows so I could use them to cushion. Other than that I have no complaints."

"Stayed 6 nights at LVH IN February. Huge property. Had a upgraded room in the North Tower with a small fridge which was useful. The room was large, very clean and nicely furnished. The King bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was dated but again a good size and very clean. We had an overall great stay in the room. One day we arrived back at our room at 1:00 in the morning to find our room not made up.( quite disappointed) called housekeeping who apologized and offered to send someone to come up to make up the room now. We declined as we were tired, and they brought us fresh towels and soaps the next morning. This is a large Hotel, be prepared to do a lot of walking from your room to the self parking, the restaurants etc. With the exception of the one missed room cleaning we were quite satisfied with the hotel. We paid about $70.00 a night so it was also a great value.
It is off the strip so you will need to use the monorail, a car or a taxi to get around. Caution: if you use a taxi have them travel behind the strip as sitting in traffic on the strip can be expensive."

"I was so angry when I left the hotel. I had paid for a much better room that we got. I had booked a premium room but I only got a standard room. The room was very disapointed - no fridge, no internet and no coffee machine. Come on! We stayed in Howard Jonhson in Detroit, and they got free internet at the room, coffee and fridge. You should do better than that. We got this 100 USD to spend at the hotel. I was very frustrated to find out, that I had to spend a lot more money to get there 100 USD. At your homepage it does not say, that the money comes in cupons - I felt that you were cheading me!! All in all my visit to LVH was a big disapiontment and I can not recommend this hotel to anybody. I realy feel bad about my experience. Your hotel are too expensive, it does not live up to what you write on your homepage. If I could, I would like to get some of my money back."

"The Room was okay but our shower leaked all the time and the water wouldn't come through the shower head all the way. Also we received the $100.00 dining extra coupons. What a joke. It was too good to be true. You had to spend a lot to use the coupons so the coupons weren't worth it. The Cantina Restuarant was great and I was able to eat something Gluten Free."

"We checked in on December 30, 2012 and were put into a room with a nice view but a horrible mildew smell in the bathroom. The housekeeper was very friendly and did everything she could to bleach and spray but the smell kept coming back. She even called the manager who was also very helpful but ultimately we needed to move. When we called for a new room they said they didn't have anything because of the holiday weekend. We went downstairs to the gentleman who checked us in originally and he was able to put us in a 'renovated' room for an extra $20 per night. We liked that room much better however the bathroom countertops were black granite and I could see dust on them when we checked in. The staff was very friendly all around. They gave us a free buffet for the inconvenience. Free valet and self parking was a great bonus. The price was good but I wouldn't consider the hotel to be 'renovated' yet as the casino smells like smoke and the star trek bar from the '80s is still there. I probably wouldnt stay here again."

"We were only here for one night while travelling through. There was no remote control for the TV when we came in, though they did bring one up for us. The carpet looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. There were stains all over it we did not even want to let our baby crawl around on it. The poor kid was banished to the pack-and-play we brought with us and was not happy. We expected more -- since this used to the the Hilton, but were disappointed."

"The hotel room left A LOT to be desired. We were given towels that looked dirty and like they were just folded back up. There was tooth paste spatters on the mirror, back of the bathroom door, and all over the shower curtain... it seriously looked like someone's kid was practicing finger painting. When brought to managments attention, they did absolutely nothing! Granted, it was Thanksgiving weekend, but you would think their house keeping would at least do their jobs, or management would actually CARE for that matter.
Definately not a place I will ever stay at again or recommend to anyone else.
Also, since when is it ok for house keeping to take it upon themselves to fold all of your clothes and place them into the dresser drawers directly from your bags? We werent even in a suite!!! It was a regular room. Disappointed and a little wierded out by our whole experience in LVH."

"I booked this hotel for my first trip to Vegas. I was thrilled upon arrival with the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly, there is a beautiful casino in the lobby, as a matter of fact the hotel is beautiful everywhere. The hallways and the rooms are a little dated, but not in a gross way, just a 'hasn't been updates' way. We were upgraded to a large room for a very inexpensive fee as well. Unfortunately we did not eat at the hotel much, but the food in the diner we went to was good. We were close enough to the strip to walk to the Fashion Mall in about ten-fifteen minutes. Far enough away that it was quiet to sleep. The Monorail was super convenient and stops right in the hotel, to the strip in less than ten minutes. It was also a mere ten dollar taxi ride to freemont street (downtown vegas).
I have to add that I loved the Casino in the hotel. The strip and the action got old quick for me and I was very happy drinking and gambling right downstairs from our room after a few nights and after the day walking on the strip and shopping.
I would not only recommend this hotel to everyone I know but I would not think twice about staying there again the next time I am in Vegas."

"Overall it was a descent stay. the price was awesome. But when I got there, the entire place just seemed dingy. The room I was booked into wasn't at all like is pictured know that it won't always be identical, but you do tend to expect similarities. When I checked in, they refused my Hilton Honors card, saying 'We don't do that here.' Then what's the point of staying in a Hilton? The website boasted 'recently remodeled', but everything looked old to me. The room was nice enough, although again, very outdated. One of the days that I was there, the maid service never even showed up. At night, you could hear everyone walking in the hallway, because the gap underneath the door was almost 2' wide. The view was descent, the food was great (although I was a little disappointed that they didn't offer a discount at their own buffet for hotel guests), monorail was very accessible, although it wound up being easier to take cabs everywhere. As stated in other reviews, the staff was pleasant enough, but the lady working the rewards counter was distant to the point of being rude (although this tended to be a theme throughout Vegas). Overall, the price was right for the stay, but this won't be among the places that I strive to hit again. There are too many nice places in Vegas to waste time with this one again. Plus, this is by FAR the worst Hilton that I've ever stayed in."

"The hotel smells really bad, its not a 4star like the booking agent said it was. Its more like a 2 star. My original plan was to stay n a more luxurious hotel, but the agent suggest that the LVH was cheaper and better 'no resorts fees'. The hotel is located far from the strip. do not let the pics on here fool u the rooms are very low mainteance, the carpet and thr furniture in the room are very dirty, roooms have no refrigerators. I wanted to leave the very next day, but I decided to stick it out. If you have the money for upgrade do so 'do not let anyone tell u that this is a nice hotel '!!!!!!! trust me its nasty dirty stinky!!!!!! Now, if you want quality I would recommend save some money and go somewhere else. I wish I could reach the GManager and politely tell him/her about this dump he or she call a hotel. But, when you go cheap you get what you pay for a nasty stinky hotel. If you read this review please do not stay at the LVH its dirty and unkept. Pay for one of the better Hotels."

"Upgraded to a remodeled room which was nice but not very clean. Found Doritos under the desk and a headband behind the chair. The view was nice but the windows were full of finger/nose/mouth prints, which was a little gross. The bath tub drained very slowly and the TV was stuck on one channel (PBS) for the better part of a day (weird...). The staff overall was pleasant but the gal issuing the players club cards wanted to be anywhere but there. Overall, the price was right and the monorail made getting to the strip quite convenient. The fact that we weren't in the room much made it a little easier to overlook the other stuff."

"We got a great deal so I was not expecting too much from the hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. We found the staff to be extremely friendly. We got to check in early, the pool guys were very polite and nice...everyone was friendly. Great happy hour drinks at the pool, too!
Our room was clean and very stylish. It was a much nicer room than the older hotels on the Strip. Honestly it was just a hair less posh than the Bellagio where we spent $150 per night and the staff was totally rude.
The is no coffee maker in the room but I don't think the Bellagio or Venetian had them either. Everyone want you to pay for everything in Vegas, but with the cheap room rate, so what.
The only negative I have is that it is farther off the strip than I expected. However, it was 100 degrees so we didn't plan on walking between casinos anyway. We just drove to the strip and parked for free at the Paris Hotel where we ate dinner. If the temp was nice and we planned on walking a lot, then I would prefer to stay on the Strip (and expect to pay a whole lot more.)"

"The hotel is located too far away from anything. Even though the tram shuttle runs by it, there is still a long way to walk when you get off at the stops. The hotel was fair though the amenities were poor. No coffee maker in room. Coffee had to be purchased in lobby for around $5 a cup. Everything was very expensive there, even the bottled water in room was $4 per bottle. Needless to say, we didn't touch it. Nearest ice machine was half a block away. The guest services person was extremely rude as was most of personnel encountered. I am sorry to say that this hotel made for a rather unpleasant trip and I would not return there. I would not recommend it to any senior citizen unless you are able to walk long distances, have lots of money to spend on essentials (food, drink, transportation to and from everything). We spent much more time getting to and from than actually doing anything. Very disappointing trip, feel like wasted far too much money for unexpected things that I should not have had to."

"I enjoyed my stay at LVH in the past 5 days. The hotel was very clean and more than decent standard. I was staying at Monte Carlos before and the room was not much different. I think I vote for VHL for the price and quality. Certainly, you can pay double for other hotels for a little bit of quality. You can pay significant less with very good quality of the remodeled hotel. I think VHL continue to keep this way of lower price to attract more customers and maintain the service. My room was serviced every day. You can even opt for 10$ saving if you do not use room service for a day. I did not choose to clean my room every day and I was very happy during my stay."

"Ended a California / Vegas trip with a 3 night stay with the family. The site was a little bit off the strip, which was a plus considering we were with young children.
Pros: Great value, nice rooms, clean, immense shaded self parking area. The pool was nice and refreshing, and we had no problem finding spots in the shade to rest.
Cons:
-The bathroom: The showerhead was for people 5-foot high and smaller. I am 5' 10' (not that tall) and I needed almost to kneel down to shower. There were some mildew spots on the shower curtain, which I find unacceptable, and there was next to no water pressure in the shower.
-The concierge: Went there to ask a few questions, got curt answers and the whole time I had the impression I was bothering him. I travel a lot, and this is rather unusual; concierges normally are quite friendly.
-The extras: Had to pay a dollar for local calls, and 14 dollars for internet. While these are reasonable hotel rates, nowadays those are usually being offered as courtesy from the hotel.
As a side note, the hotel restaurantswere pretty pricey. Food was good and service was outstanding so it is not really a con, but a buyer beware. We had rebates for a bottle of wine and entrees, so it was not so bad, but I think you can get much better price/quality ratio elsewhere in Vegas, especially if you don't have coupons. For the family, though, it was convenient."

"This hotel was great! Service was a bit disappointing considering we were to be upgraded to another room and were unable to since the hotel was pretty busy that day. The lady at the front desk was not the nicest it was more trying to get me in and out not very friendly. And to be honest thw vallet guys are in no hurry to get the car or take your from you. The room however was great modern looking and had a garden tub big enough for two which was great! Other than that everything else was awesome! I would definetly stay here again."

"Not a bad place to stay... especially for the price. Nothing really special about the room or hotel that we could see. The pool was so-so. Not very big but there were plenty of chaise lounges available. No shade to be found except one covered area that was always full. Great drink specials by the pool during 'happy hour' and the pool dj was pretty great, too."

"Very upset to stay the LVH!! The front desk really mess up my trip! Had requested adjoining rooms and the baby crib when I checked in, and my hard copy had showed the request. However, when I arrived there at 12pm... I got two rooms separated in different levels, one was 8; another one was 27, and I needed to requested again for the baby crib. When I asked how would it be, the guy (front desk) said 'ask your travel agent, I don't know' and when I asked if he was able to arrange the rooms at least on the same level... he said nothing was available, and the crib would be put on the system! After 3 hours waiting the crib, I called to the guest service and see where the crib was, the nice lady said there no request on it, and she would like to follow it up! Within half hour, finally the crib was in my room!!
I don't know how the LVH trained the Front Desk people?? Hope they understand the front desk people is the frist impact to represent the hotel! If the front desk can't solve what the customers need, what the front desk for?? I would rather check in with the computer instead of the useless front desk person!?!?!
Will not recommend anyone to go there!!"

"I guess it's true that you get what you pay. We got good rates for two rooms at the hotel formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton. From the very moment we stepped into the hotel, our nightmare began. Arrived there 10:30 am. Staff said our rooms weren't ready until 1pm. Staff member told us to line up at the VIP line when we came back. So we went to lunch to kill time. When we returned, I went to the VIP line as instructed. Previous staff member was nowhere to be found. Another front desk member tended to me. When I explained to her my previous encounter with her colleague, she ignored me and proceeded to tell me I sort of cut in front of other people by going to the VIP line. I don't know if it was because of this that I started having a 'technical issue' with one of our rooms. In the end, we finally settled into our rooms at 5pm. Unacceptable!
We also noticed on our way to our rooms a tray of room service plates. Three days later, those same exact plates were still there! Unacceptable!
The rooms were decent, housekeeping was great. The pool was definitely a good solution to the heat. The pool staff were okay.
I've had previous encounters with Hilton hotels, and it shows: this is no longer a Hilton hotel. First impressions are certainly lasting impressions---I will never set foot in this hotel again."

"The hotel was fine: clean room, comfy bed, helpful employees. I have one complaint: I had called prior to my stay to inquire if I could have a package sent to me while there as a guest. The girl at the front desk said yes but never mentioned the $10 handling fee per package that the business office charges. The gentleman there would not waive the fee, even though I let him know I had specifically asked prior to having a package sent and was not informed of the charge. Concierge was not helpful either and the couple times I called the front desk it took about 20 rings before someone picked up. Finally, I went to a coffee kiosk and no one would wait on me, even though there were several people next door at the Pizza Hut. "

"First impression was not good. Waited over an hour in line to check in. There were very limited staff at the desk. Once at the counter, service was friendly. We stayed in the East tower and our room was outstanding. Great view and very clean. The food at TJ's Steakhouse was great. The service at Vince Gill'sTres Rios Cantina was horrible. The happy hour at the pool was nice. We rented a cabana by the pool in the evening and were only 1 of 2 cabanas that had a working light. Seems all the others were burnt out. The Oasis club on Saturday night had a very 'unusual' crowd. Overall, the stay was nice, but the place needs some management attention in many areas."

"We decided at the last minute to hit the Las Vegas Strip and wanted a reasonably priced hotel, LVH was our choice since we had stayed there many times as resort members when it was a Hilton brand hotel. The pool was very refreshing but after 4:00 it turns into a pool party with WAAAAYYYYY too many people in the pool for a fun time for families with young children. Morning swimming was perfect. Staff was professional and personal. We would stay again in the North Tower in the premier rooms because you also have access to the Resort Club level, which offers FREE and UNLIMITED continental breakfast & juices, snacks during mid day and a wine and cheese. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed at the LVH for four nights, the two first nights were only 32$ a night and the last two were at 99$ we could not complain about the price. But it always felt like it was a cheap deal we were getting? The hotel is far from the strip, you must have a car otherwise you are paying for cabs and or the monorail. The entire hotel is old and feels old, carpets were dirty, walls were dirty and or scuffed, bathroom tiles were old, the soaps and shampoos were very poor quality and the staff at check in was less than helpful. I felt that every time I asked for help I was disturbing them or intruding? They never offered up advice on where to eat or what to do, all they were able to recommend was the LVH - really?
The staff at check in didn't even tell us the Internet was included, we refrained from getting it because we were originally was told that it cost 13$ a day - but at CHECK OUT we found out that it was in fact included??.?.
The pool was dirty, a good size but in need of an overhaul. The chairs around the pool were from the 70s, if you wanted some shade you had to pay for a dirty cabana that cost 60$ to rent for the day?
The breakfast buffet was decent and cost 15$ pp
The valet staff were very very nice
The casino staff were very nice and helpful
We never stayed for the 4 pm happy hour around the pool, but people seemed to enjoy the music and 2 for 1 drinks!
The gym was outrageously expensive, 20$ a day?.... I was floored and very disappointed - this service should be included?
I felt like I got my money's worth for sure, not much! Also the coupons offered had so may restrictions we never used them?"

"I had a horrible experience at LVH. At checking I was told that I had booked a standard room and that I should upgrade to a deluxe room and I declined. I was given a VERY dirty room with carpet that appeared to have animal scratches and completed unsightly. I call the front desk to complain, a staff person was sent to the room and when she saw the room she expressed shock at the condition of the room. She told the front desk about the rooms condition and was asked to reassign me to a room on the 25th floor. The second room was a bit cleaner but there soap, lotion or face towels in the room, I called for that and it took over one hour before they brought hair shampoo without any bath soap. I was fed up and had to check out Thursday 06/28/12 to find another hotel. I lost three days of prepaid stay due to my bad experience at this hotel. I will not stay there in the future no would recommend this hotel to any one. I had a hurrible experience there"

"We ended up staying in 3 hotels while in Vegas because we added plane time, Well I wish we had stayed at the hotel the whole time because we were completely satisfied in all areas there. I must recommend you use the resort rooms because it includes free access to the fitness center and a room that includes a breakfast, snack, and wine/cheese reception in the evenings. It helped to save us quite a bit of money the 5 days we were there as my kids were with me. The room also included plush robes and slippers, the bedding and pillows were amazing. Couldnt ask for anything better than this stay. "

"I found the LHV to be good. Rooms were good size as was bathroom. Comfortable beds, but no coffee making facilities. Actually no hotels cater for tea drinkers. Some supply herbal or flavoured teas but not plain black tea. It is a bit far frommthe main strip but the monorail is convenient, and a good way to work out where places are. Some parts are of course a bit dated, but they allowed us to stay in the room later as we were going elsewhere the next night. No waiting to check in or out. Overall a good experience."

"Great for the price we paid but it definately had a number of flaws. We drove 7 hours on a Friday afternoon to go to the LV City of Lights Jazz Festival for the weekend. Once we arrived, the Valet staff said they were full, so we had to drive around (with luggage) for another 45 minutes to find parking, By this time, Valet was now available. Valet & Bellstaff were a little unfriendly & and seemed annoyed of other guests. Once we checked in, we went to our room to find the room was occupied by a previous guest. We called downstairs to have the front desk lady tell us to come down 22 floors to get new keys. Oh did I forget to mention, I am handicapped. So with that said, and a firm voice, they brought us more keys another 40 minutes later, Almost midnight, and we are still waiting to get into our room. Once we were in.... It was decent. Beds were comfy, nice big bathtub (but wasnt jacuzzi as advertised)... ALso, no free internet as described, refrigerator didnt work and drapes didnt open by push button. No biggie. But part of the package that sold us. On a bright side, the room was clean and the view we had from our window overlooking the golfcourse was nice. As mentioned the furniture in the room was showing wear and tear and room service was quite busy. The wait for breakfast was over an hour, so we decided to go out. The employees at the reception were unfriendly as well and the hotel is quite far from the strip. For transportation, the monorail is right next to the hotel, so you can get to the strip quickly. Overall, the rooms were decent and clean, but don't expect any extras if coming on a busy weekend. In essence the Jazz Festival made up for the inconsistencies of what we didnt have..."

"This 'very off-strip' hotel is ok in a bind and only if you have a car or want to spend alot on the monorail. and always walk great distances from the back of hotel properties where the stations are. We had a car and it wasn't a 'packed' weekend so we were able to go park center strip and walk from there. Still, we had to cab it back to our car. Food in the casino and in the area is difficult to come by so be prepared to plan for meals instead of just stopping by for something."

"This was a nice place to stay but it definitely had it's flaws. It had big nice rooms especially since we got a free room upgrade to a premium room. We had two big double size beds, a big closet and a nice big bathroom with a big jacuzzi bathtub. The room was very clean as well, and the view we had from our window overlooking the strip was beautiful. The furniture in the room was definitely showing wear and tear, and the TV had virtually no channels. Internet costs $15 a day(!) and ordering a movie costs $15 as well, which is ridiculous! It was virtually impossible to get in touch with the front desk and ordering room service was a huge ordeal( they only took cash and were very unfriendly about giving information about how to order). The employees at the reception were unfriendly as well and the hotel is quite far from the strip. The hotel is right next to the monorail station though and you can get to the strip quickly and efficiently with the monorail. Overall, the rooms were nice and clean, just don't expect any extras or friendly staff!"

"My wife and I spent 5 days in Vegas, but at the end of the trip, we decide to stay 1 additional night. We leave the hotel we're at and search online the 'deal of the day', and found it here. From a $34dlls a night, went down to $24 with a $10 discount. (NICE!). So with tax we end up expending $34dlls the night. The room was on the North Tower and we got the upgrade. The room was clean, nice view to the Strip, nice size, nice bathroom, over all a good experience, especially for the price. We get there late night (11pm), an leave early (10am), so we didn't have chance to interact with the staff or use the accommodations. The main restaurant was open until 1am, so thas was helpful and the food was OK. A little slow service, but nice staff. The monorail stops at this hotel, so for $5dlls (single trip) you can go almost anywhere on the Strip. Or you can buy the all-day pass for $12dlls. NOTE: The reservation took a while to be confiormed by the hotel (about 2 hrs), so be aware of this or you will have a bit of trouble. Late Checkout available upon request, but do it on line, not at the hotel, the lady at the front desk, took very serious about honoring the request. Have a nice stay."

"Been to Vegas many times as some of my family live there. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in so far and the price was right..Clean ,Roomy, nice decour. I had my choice of machines, had the whole section by the pool basically to myself. Staff was excellent with my requests for extra towels, hotel maps, other items and were patient with my many inquiries. Had a pleasant convo with Rose from concierge. A hidden gem a little further off the strip..Being in the North Tower it was a little walk to the pool, and I was disappointed that my 'microwave' was actually just an in room safe LMAO, but overall a great stay! Will definitely stay here again."

"My stay was in a word 'Horrible'. I will never stay there again. I stayed there for one night two weeks ago and the room I got was pretty decent, meaning it was large and had a nice view. On this stay however I had to book for 2 nights, and through my advertised booking, I was supposed to get an upgrade from the classic room to something better. When I got there I wasn't in the same tower (last time it was the Central Tower) as last time and this room was much farther to walk to in the East Tower. It was confusing trying to figure out where the elevator was for the East Tower. Next, the room was much smaller than last time, the carpet was dirty looking, the bathroom was smaller, the view was of the side parking lot, and air conditioner was much louder this time. So compared to my stay from two weeks prior (which was larger and had view of the golf course) the new room was a total DOWNGRADE. I decided to call the bell desk and let them know how I felt, so they transferred me to another room in the Central Tower, easier to walk to, but the room was pretty much the same, still smaller than last time. So I called the bell desk again, not to switch rooms again but to let them know how unhappy I was, and the guy on the phone pretty much said the room is the same size as from my last trip, and had a very dismissive and rude attitude. Then, on my second night there at about midnight, I started to hear a horde of kids (10-16 years old) in the hallway, about 5-10 of them trying to get into the two rooms directly across from mine. They didn't have the keys, apparently mommy and daddy didn't get extra keys for them. For about an hour I could hear them running up and down the halls and making noise talking, and then when they finally got into their rooms they were slamming doors constantly. I couldn't fall asleep so at 1am I called the Front Desk to let them know. They sent security up to tell them to keep it down, and finally that stopped. Next time, I'll make sure where I stay has an Adult's only tower. This is a very slow hotel, their dining choices are limited, you can't count on the room advertised to be the room you get, and with the rude attitude I got from the Bell Desk, I will never stay there again."

"The first thing that we noticed was that both the hallway and room that we were given were extremely dirty. We moved our room and the second room was also dirty, right down to hairs on the bathroom floor, smeared mirrors and dirt rings left on the table tops! The furnishings were chipped and shabby looking! We moved again....not as bad, but the same thing. I explained the issues to the front desk and they comped us a 50.00 voucher for food, but they never adressed the issues in our room nor did the hallways get cleaned up. (We even found a dirty sock on the floor in the corner from the previous occupant....it stayed in the room with us for 4 days!) I will opt for a different hotel for my next stay!"

"Hotel was not too bad, and we were given a pretty decent room (with strip view). The room wasn't awful either, but we couldn't help but notice how dirty the hallway was, littered with other guest's room service trays that were left out in the walkway for a very long time (some for our whole stay). The cups in our room were dirty; they had lip marks and crud in them. The furniture was stained, as were our bedsheets. My main gripe though was how far off the strip it really is. We had to drive back and forth, or take the monorail to and from the strip when we went out. The don't offer any breakfast/meal specials with the stay unless its room service, which as always, is expensive. One plus is that there is free parking everywhere in Vegas which helped a lot. I would steer anyone away from staying here, but I would definitely look to stay somewhere else first, next time."

"I dont' know where to start! Upon arrival the reservation lady told me that my room upgrades were $20 each day each room. But when I booked I was given FREE upgrades. I didn't have the paper with me to show it was free and the reservation lady did not honor it and acted like I was lucky to get $10 upgrade free. When we got there my kids wanted to use the tennis courts - cost $20!! EACH! We wanted to work out in 'their' fitness room - $20 EACh! These are NOT hotel amenities these are businesses connected to the hotel NOT part of the hotel amenities which is what you'd think when you view their website. DON'T be fooled. The reason they don't charge resort fees is because they are a glorified Motel 6. The monorail is $12 for a day pass or $5 for each trip. Save yourself the headache and dissappointment as well as your money- just stay somewhere on the strip and be close to everything. The resort fee is nominal compared to the A LA Carte fees this so called Hotel charges. Beware also of them lying to you - if you have a free upgrade they won't honor it unless you have your online reservation with you - even if they see it on the screen! INTERNET is $14.95 per day."

"Facility and majority of staff very nice. Unfortunately experience ruined by failure of to honor reservation made and paid for in advance. Said they were full and put as in a substarndard room while refusing to make any compensation for change in room. Said reservation was merely a request and rooms were provided 'first come first serve'. By time we arrived at 7pm the room type we request had been filled. So many choices in Vegas so avoid LVH"

"Plus: two large adjoining rooms for reasonable price Minuses: One of our two rooms was not cleaned yet despite us being provided the key for it at check in. Our bathtub (in the cleaned room!) had not been cleaned as there was hair in it from the previous guest. 'Clean' towels had someone else's hair on them. Faucets in both rooms dripped constantly. Internet fee was ridiculous price so we did not use. No hot water in the showers in the evening. Qaulity of finishings very poor with tiling mud from reno not cleaned up and left to dry permanently in place, windowsills damaged, furniture chipped and in need of repair. Main floor/lobby smelled of sour milk/bleach? Not the luxury we were expecting, disappointed."

"I needed a room for Friday night with a short notice of two days, and was able to book one - with a rate of 57 plus tax. Well for that money you sure do get a plenty of hotel room: the room was spacious, clean, nice and classy, with two huge queen beds (looked more like king beds); and the view was pretty good, too. Parking is logical and not hard to find a spot. The hotel is 3-4 minutes car ride away from Treasure Island, for example, so you can either drive, or walk to the strip (10-15 minutes) if you are young and wild, or you can take a monorail ($5). Four minus points which all relate to the service and not the great hotel room itself: 1) because of the communication errors (the system showed one day earlier arrival), the check in process took nearly 30 minutes. 2) The lady checking me in was staring her screen with frozen eyes and not caring if she put me to a hold for eternity or not. In the middle of the process I asked how long it's gonna take, and she replied, 15 minutes. Not an apology, nothing. 3) The check out process was painful as check in, a lot of financial confusion, extra charge (and it did not free up until 4-5 days after the trip. Also in addition to that, the lady trying to check me out gave me a bill of 339 per room. I was like 'WHAAT' and when I showed my papers that I had prepaid (and much less, mind you), then she gave me another papers showing that 339 bill was void. So I was never charged that 339. However, a lot of adrenaline for that 57 dollars paid. 4) I wanted to pay in cash for a bottle of water ($4), because I did not want to charge it on my card and the lady checking me out told me not to worry about it. I thought it was nice gesture. Sure enough, 5 days later I still saw a charge on my card. I know it's not a million dollar bill, but it was still frustrating, especially as I had extra asked for what I had wished for."

"The LVH, formerly the Las Vegas Hilton.
Ok, so the deal we got was great. Sure the LVH is off strip, but a 12-20 dollar cab ride is always worth it unless youre huffing it, even is you live strip side. I like the LVH. Really I do. There's a Benihana which is very nice, but no night club... but you want to go clubbing on the strip anyhow.
So, when checking in they asked if we wanted a King or two Queens beds. We said King, and since we were checking in kinda early they said they didnt have one ready, but they would upgrade us for free into a remodeled room with one queen. Thats sounded cool - BUT that wasnt really an upgrade.
The room was big, which was nice. And I can handle a Queen without a problem. The bathroom was nice with big tub and a shower stall. So far so good, the only iffy thing was that the door to the corridor wasnt a good fit. So it was easy to hear what was going on in the corridor at all times. Not a big thing, but still... I am sure I could have switched rooms, but I didnt care.
Overall experience - IF youre willing to cab it everytime you leave the hotel - the LVH is a good choice. And if youre going with a lady that wear heels, then you will want to cab it regardless. LVH was good. I have to real issue, except what I mentioned.
I also god a voucher for a free night when I come back... and I intend to."

"We will never book through book it. com again because we felt like second class citizens due to booking our reservation through your website. We were placed by an elevator which woke us up in the middle of the night. And we had an amazing view of the trash dumpsters. When we tried to address our concerns, all the front desk representatives they kept referring back to that they could not do anything for us since we booked it through your company. Book it.com was highly recommended from a friend, however, our experience was unsatisfactory. "The Las Vegas Hilton is starting to show it's age. The rooms are starting to look a bit out dated, and the bathrooms are starting to show the wear and tear of a building that has been around a while.
That being said, the beds are comfortable. The Staff friendly and happy to help out and having the monorail nearby allowed for quick access to the strip.
IF you want something with a bit more value for money away of the strip but the convenience of being able to get down to the strip quickly without the cost of a taxi fare then you could do worse than stay here.

"We got good deal for this hotel. When we checked in the lady at the counter was awesome, she even gave us s few perks. The room was really nice (one of the perks), clean and spacious. My only problem and the only reason why I might not go back is it is a little far from the strip. It has a monorail that takes you to the strip but it was kind of pricey and a cab is not cheap either. We had a large group with us and no one wanted to be driving after partying on the strip. "

"The Las Vegas Hilton was wonderful. Even though the area surrounding the Hilton was not great quality, the area within the Hilton was great. The monorail was a great feature if you wanted to head towards the strip even though I thought the strip was awful and dirty. Comparing the other hotels around, this hotel was for more formal members of society who don't really party. The sports book and race book areas were out of this world. I spent my whole time there. I will be coming back very soon to the Hilton."

"IIf you are looking for a nice property right off of the strip, this is it! Not too far from the strip, however the monorail is 200 feet from the property. This iis also the closest resort to the Convention Center. The resort has been updated and the staff works hard to keep it clean and in good condition. Everyone was really friendly, and went out of there way to cater to my needs. The Paradise Cafe has the best cheese burgers and French fries on the strip.
