The room was ok. Our granddaughter came a few days to join us help celebrate my husbands B-Day. It was very nice of Luxor to allow us to have a cot brought in for her, Luxor also rents our wheelchairs & scooters. We rented a wheelchair for our mother during our stay in Vegas. We had the B-Day celebration over at Excalibur at Buco de Beppo. Let me tell you its a great place to eat for group of people. If you order large - that will feed anywhere from 5-7 people. Great food, good location, re... Read more

I came here on business for a convention that was in town. I loved how all the hotels and casinos are connected with walkways and bridges. The Luxor is Egyptian themed and super cool inside and out. Check in took forever. There wasn't a line, but the actual checking in process took the desk clerk a long time, maybe 15 minutes. My room was on the 17th floor overlooking the Excalibur hotel. I was expecting luxury when I walked in my room, but was soon disappointed. The room was old with chips and ... Read more

Stayed at the Luxor for 3 nights at the end of November as a couple and had a great stay. Situated on the 7th floor of the Pyramid on the west side the noise from the busy casino floor and food outlets was not a problem, could hardly hear a thing. Check in is very simple, you enter the main reception area of the complex and join the queue, depending on the time of day you arrive the queue could be very big. We waited approx. 15 minutes before we were seen, check in lasted for a few minutes ... Read more

Decent hotel/casino located at the top of the strip. Cleaners came everyday with fresh towels and done a great job in keeping the room clean and bed linen fresh. I ate breakfast once in the hotel and whilst the food was good it was very expensive. The on site shop was also expensive ($8 for a tube of toothapaste!!). Location wise, its ideal and you will have no issues getting around when using the Luxor as a base for exploring vegas.

We stay at a different resort/ hotel each time we go. We both thought the Luxor was simply amazing and beautiful the interior view from the walk way around our floor (16th) was awesome. The room was in my opinion was a 4 star but mind you I don't nik pick every little thing, the room was clean, beds were soft and clean, room smelled good and everything worked but no in room coffee maker. My wife and I recommend the Luxor. I have posted a few pics we took of the interior of hotel from the 16th fl... Read more

Just returned from my third stay at the Luxor in the last year and a bit. It's really starting to feel like a new home base. Consistently, this Hotel has met all of my expectations while affording good value. We have stayed in the East Tower each trip. The rooms have been adequately maintained, just a wee bit tired. Housekeeping is always excellent with perfectly clean rooms. One thing though, I'm not a huge fan of any restaurant in particular within the resort though (and have tried all of the... Read more

This place ..... Wow... From the start .. 30 min check in line up (was not even that busy) , then heading to my room in the elevator that literally had piss on the floor (not kidding). Then getting into the room that had rusty pipes dripping on all my belongings in the bathroom, then to find a bloody finger print on the wall. Yes this place is significantly cheaper than other places on the strip. But just know that you are limited to zero ammendities, and terrible room cleanings.. go ahead, b... Read more

Stayed at Luxor because of a trade show at Mandalay and Mandalay rooms were all booked. The front desk manager was beyond rude to our party upon check-in and actually threatened us to move to a different hotel! Stayed in the East tower which are newer than the pyramid rooms. Still, rooms are old and outdated. Holes in the carpet and hallway floor tiles were held down with red tape. No amenities - no mini fridge, bottled water or coffee. It could have been worse but I would have paid more and had... Read more

MGM properties are all about fees, fees and more fees. What used to be complimentary and what is complimentary at other hotels now has a fee. MGM is the Frontier Airline of hotels. And with those resort fees what do you get? Basically nothing. $35 per room per night gets you wifi and free local and 800 calls. So if you're a traveler who is unfamiliar with operating a cell phone they've got you covered. With the size of my family, I have two connecting rooms so that's $70 per day for useless reso... The hotel is currently being renovated, and the renovation starts at 6 AM! So if you want to get up a 6 AM then great, but if you want to sleep in you might get woken up. Its not super loud but enough to wake you up in the morning. Other then that, the old rooms are still decent and location was good for what I needed. The price is also pretty good for the 3 nights I stayed there and super close to the airport as well.
