Visited as it was the first time I had went on holiday with my elderly parents and it was a last hoora if you will. The staff before we arrived were amazing and when we got there from front desk to room service and maintenance were just superb. Breakfast buffet amazing (a little expensive but very handy). We stayed in a low floor in the tower (as requested before arrival) and the room was spotless every day very quiet, all we needed. The free tram between Mandalay bay and Excalibur is so easy to... Great Hotel. We will stay again. Staff helpful. Rooms clean and look nice. We stayed in west tower, which many guest recommended to me. Great view of area. Good restaurants, nice casino. Liked that all the surrounding casinos were connected in one way or another. Did not have to cross streets or go to great effort to get anywhere. Nice monorail.

We spent 3 nights here. The buffet was average for the price, the rooms were spacious and the casino smelt a little stale. We loved their attention to detail, but weren't excited about dragging our luggage over a thousand steps (thank you Fitbit for counting how far we walked) over carpet to our rooms. We loved the massive light on the roof that let us know where to find it at night, but didn't love the walk to the strip and the buses. It was interesting, but probably wouldn't stay here aga... We have just returned from staying at the Luxor for a week. It's an amazing building. I agree with previous posts that the resort fee is very high for what you get for it, $205 for wifi essentially as pools were closed. Perhaps this could be reviewed for winter months. We had a pyramid room on the 11th floor, it was spacious, clean and comfortable, there was a safe in the wardrobe. We would definitely stay here again.

We have just spent three nights in the luxor on the way to joining a cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the pyramid rooms and they were large comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We ate in the buffet restaurant for brunch and the choice and quality was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting a base to explore Vegas

I stayed here for my second trip to Vegas, we were in a pyramid room which was fine, huge bathroom and anything you may need. the view was of the 2 towers attached to the pyramid so there wasn't a view which didn't bother me. Over all the hotel is fine, the casino is good and the links between the adjacent hotels means there is an abundance of restaurants and shops with out leaving the hotel, and it also makes accessing the strip a doodle. If you are just looking for a place to rest and within... Read more

We stayed at the Luxor for 3 nights and it was just amazing!! We upgraded our room to a suite and it was superb. All the staff were so pleasant & helpful. The hotel has so much to offer and is in a great location as it's at the southern end of the strip. There is a local shuttle bus called the 'deuce' and you can grab a 24hr ticket for $8 per person and you can hop on & off as often as you want.

We've never been disappointed in any of our visits to the Luxor. What we enjoy most is that Casino floor offers plenty of room without the feeling of being "overwhelmed" by the abundance of slot machines. In other words, you can walk around the floor without feeling claustrophobic! The staff are always eager to assist and actually quite pleasing to talk to!

We decided to take a last minute road trip to Las Vegas. We ended up staying at the Luxor for two reasons 1.) the rooms were very affordable and 2.) my engineer of a husband was impressed,as a child, with the elevators that move upward diagonally. Apparently, we decided to go to Vegas during one of the slowest weeks of the year. We upgraded to a suite and were delighted with the quality of the room. Our room had a corner view on the 28th floor. We didn't see anyone else on that floor until the... Read more

Stayed at Luxor in the East Tower (18th floor, "Strip" view) over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Out of the places I've stayed on the strip (so far), I'd consider Luxor Tower rooms to be a step above Bally's and Planet Hollywood as far as room cleanliness and wear & tear, but below Venetian and Bellagio (as expected). The casino is casual and comfortable. Luxor is a great value for the cost, despite the potentially less-than-ideal location on the strip (although for a few bucks for a Lyft/Uber,... Read more
