I have stayed here several times for business and the staff are always friendly and attentive to my requests. The breakfast is put together before 6am. Often I am not able to get an upper floor room for my stays and it can be a little noisy but not bad.

Contact with front desk personnel was very good except for Chris. Chris was on duty the day we needed to have our toilet unclogged. The toilet only flushed properly if the handle was held down. I will try to make this short. Noon on Friday called down to front desk, let phone ring and ring, no answer. Went down to front desk no one there. Sign on counter saying they were helping another guest, be back shortly, have patience. Stood and waited several minutes. Finally decided to track down... Read more

Good place to stop on your way through town. Rooms are generous in size and they are clean. A little older HI Express, but definitely if you are driving through and need somewhere to stop, this is the place. Easy place to park, good place to fuel back up and get on the highway and go on your way. We take this route going between Idaho and Arizona and stayed there 3x. Also, very quiet in noise. They do take dogs and easy to walk around with your dog.

My husband and I stayed here for one night (5/6) We were in town for a fast business tripr and decided to stay away from the chaos of the strip. This hotel fit the bill. It is right by the air force base so if you need to be close to Neliis it would be a good choice. Its nothing fancy but the staff was friendly and the room was clean (if not a bit old). They have an indoor pool and an exercise room that seemed nice. They had cookes in the evening and a complimentary breakfast in the morning.... Read more

We were passing through Vegas and didn't want to be bothered with the chaos of "The Strip." We selected this hotel because of it's location - off the strip and close to the the highway. I cannot fault this hotel. They have done some updating to the offered amenities, i.e. Keurig coffee makers in the rooms. The staff were friendly and the place is clean. However, be advised - it is not in the best part of town so get everything you need done during daylight hours them hunker down while the n... Read more

From the UK, Tired after a long journey, we arrived here after looking up on the internet, we had not pre booked but everyone could not have been more helpful, wish we had time to stay longer. Lovely clean room, in fact whole place clean and tidy. Reception staff were great first point of contact was a young lady who hails from New York, lovely attitude, and then everyone after that was just as pleasant

We ended up in Vegas a day early and needed a hotel. We had been on the road for five days and were tired, and it was the last minute on the night before the 4th of July, so a last-minute room on the strip or surrounding area was out of the question -- too pricey and a bit too much for us when we were so tired. I ended up finding and booking this room through Hotwire and was glad I did. The hotel is very nice and clean. The young man who seems to work day shift was very nice, professional and h... Read more

Just outside of Nellis Air Force Base. Check in was quick and pleasant but nothing memorable. The hallway smelled humid and dirty and the carpet needs to be cleaned. Our room had a strong disinfectant odor but was clean. Shower head and water pressure was good. Typical HI Express breakfast with a big dining area.

They don't let you check in before 3pm, even if you're PCSing in from overseas and need sleep. They don't care about your problems and are rude. The vibe that the staff gives off is very introverted and not welcoming. The only reason I am staying here is because I have a pet and there weren't any better options.

We stayed here one night for our trip to Zion national park. Breakfast was good, the room was nice and clean. It is a little bit far away from Las Vegas strip, non smoking. We would go back again for next trip.

Stayed here 1 night on our way to Zion Nat'l Park. We arrived around 1:30 and checked to see if our room was ready - Sorry, they won't check for you until 3pm. Really? Because I've stayed at Holiday Inn before, and they will usually check to see if your room was cleaned yet or not. In fact, most hotels around the world will at least check for you. Sorry, it's their rule that they won't start to check anyone in before 3 pm. So sit in your car in the parking lot and wait until 3 pm to come back an... Read more

I stayed here one night only and did not have any problems with my room #130. This was a standard room with the usual HI Express amenities. Breakfast was fine and the room itself was in good order and relatively new looking. I especially appreciated the fridge and microwave and the two queen beds because I could use one for laying out the equipment I had brought with me to observe a scientific event which made for easy unpacking and repacking. The staff gave me a room that was not as near to a... Read more

[Stayed here last night]. Honestly the front desk guy was super nice, nothing was absolutely appalling upon my arrival, and it was pretty quiet. My only complaint was my room was SO muggy. It was like.... I felt sticky? I had to google "is Las Vegas muggy?" because this was my first time coming here and I was under the impression it was a dry heat. I think it was just the room. Very odd, I even fiddled around with the air conditioner to see if that might help. Other than that, things seemed clea... Read more

We were in town on our bike and stayed here. Always worry about security asked the clerk about it and he had us park under the awning right by the front door. The guy at the desk(name was Sir) was absolutely over the top polite and helpful. Lots to restaurants in Las Vegas but he suggested a BBQ place about 3 blocks away that some of us walked to. Great suggestion . Room was clean and breakfast was better than most . Didn't try it but they had some kind of pancake machine that people were u... Read more

But even locking your car doors won't stop the people in the parking lot from attempting to break into your vehicle. I recently stayed for one night over a holiday weekend. When I was checking in I was informed (only because another guest was waiting for the police) that there had been a few recent break-ins to vehicles in the parking lot. The front desk advised me to park near the front entrance. This hotel has 3 floors with at least 25+ rooms per floor and maybe 12-15 spots closest to the fron... Read more

While everyone else went up on Friday rates in Vegas this was very reasonable. Well off the strip but easy to get there in about 10-15 minutes. Beds are comfy and the room was nice. The pool is small but clean and adequate. Jacuzzi was nice.

The hotel is a fairly standard Holiday Inn Express. The bones of the building seem old (such as the climate control), but it's been given a pretty thorough facelift. Breakfast is good, and the staff are polite and friendly. The main issue is that, although it's not in the worst part of town, it's not the best, either. I wasn't worried about my car being broken into (though there was some police activity nearby one night), but it's a bit of a drive to find a decent place to eat. Also, if you... Read more

Have stayed at many HIE around the world. This was the least appealing in appearance. The carpet in the hallway is torn and dirty. Didn't like passing the laundry room on the first floor to get to my room. Laundry room looks like a 3rd world operation! That said, requested early check in. At first Jeannie said no, but then she checked and the room was ready. We were checked in early. Our room was comfortable except the back of the chair was badly soiled, decor dated. A long way from the interstate and not a lot of choices in dining places. The motel is about average for HIE which is what we are staying at during our two week trip. I wanted a place to avoid Las Vegas traffic in the late afternoon arrival as we travel south from Utah and this would do it. Nothing special, tour buses made getting around a hassel and forget trying to use the one computer for quests. Same for breakfast, to many people too little space. I would stay here again if I had to take I-1... Read more

The room was large and convenient. It was quiet for sleeping. The bathroom had Bath and Bodyworks amenities - lotion and shampoo - very nice. The towels were large and fluffy. The fan was very noisy and went on with the light. The breakfast included the usual offerings but they did have cranberry juice and bananas. the room did have a strong odor of air freshener when we first got to the room. Very overpowering but it was not repeated the next day when we got back to the room. Our major problem ... Read more

We stopped at this hotel and we were using reward points for the night. The front desk person said we have to charge your credit card for $28+ dollars and I said no one has ever done that before when I use reward points, but she said it would be removed the next day. Two weeks later the charge is still on my credit card, I had to call the hotel to get the charge removed from credit card. I am not happy with this hotel and will find another hotel in the future.

This is an older hotel and maybe that explains why we were able to hear the people in the room walking around above us (they went to bed around 9:30 p.m. and were up just after 6 a.m.) The previous occupant in our room set the alarm for midnight at a high volume (note to self - ALWAYS check the alarm clock from now on.) The elevator drops slightly as you get in but seemed to work well. On the up side, the room was clean and the beds were pillowtops which meant that they were very comfortable. T... Read more
