Nice clean hotel. Close to the strip and freeway. The staff was very helpful and friendly. During the weekend it was a little loud, but what would you expect from Vegas. Breakfast Buffett could have used a few more items. All in all very nice and will use this hotel again.

As an HGV owner and silver status HH member, I usually get upgraded. This time I didn't. Which I thought was odd. Other than that, everything was fine. Next time, I should automatically be accommodated, otherwise I'll be taking it up with upper management.

We stopped at this Hotel twice during our trip. It is a little ways off the Strip but they have a shuttle that will drop you off at The Tropicana on the Strip. Drawback is they will only pick you up to go back twice, at 5:30 and 10:30 pm. We loved the friendly staff, especially Bridget the bartender. Never have we seen such a friendly and attentive bartender. We couldn't find any customer comment cards so we will recognize her on here. (Hope the Hilton management reads this!) The hotel was very clean and all of the employees were very courteous. The shuttle to the Strip was enormously helpful as we did not constantly have to flag down a cab. I would strongly recommend this hotel. But for ladies, do not plan on walking alone from the Excalibur to this hotel. There is an underpass that has no visibility from the street and I saw some unsavory characters there. Luckily, my timing was such that a security guard from the Excalibur was watching nearby.

I spent two nights here while traveling on business. I found the location to be good and the rooms to be well maintained. My only complaint was with the shuttle service. There was a long wait at the airport for the shuttle and the one that went out to the strip didn't have enough capacity for all the people using it. I found the room to be updated, maintained, and clean. It was also pretty quiet. I would stay here again.

Room was clean and the facilities all appeared in good shape. We did not have time for the pool and breakfast but heard it was all great. They have a happy hour in evening. Friendly staff. To begin with, greeted with a water bottle and they let me check in early - great after a long early a.m. flight. The rooms were clean, water pressure better than resorts on the strip, free breakfast , free coffee, free shuttle, free wifi, friendly & helpful service!!!!! Across the street from in n out burger...The only negatives may be location- you can walk to the strip but under overpasses that can be dodgy; however, public transit or free shuttles or even taxis/uber make this a moot point.

The hotel is a very nice property. The pool area isn't huge, but folks enjoy it. Biggest drawback to property is not being able to walk to the Strip, particularly at night. The hotel does offer a shuttle, which is highly recommended. Jack was the shuttle bus driver and he did a great job navigating the LV traffic on a Friday night. The front desk person described the walk as "creepy". We had no issues and I would stay at this property again.

Rooms and Complimentary Breakfast area need new paint or upgrade. Walls where stained and showed damaged of wear that need some attention. Also the people working around the breakfast were a little rude to people when it came to people who accidentally sat in the bar area, there was no signs saying you couldn't sit in the bar area for eating. Jack picked me up at the airport in a clean shuttle bus. He was super helpful with suggestions about my stay. I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 & was able to check into my room. My friends waited in an hour line to find out their rooms weren't ready but upgraded rooms were available. This Hampton Inn is an easy walk to the strip. Every morn... Read more

Outdated design and showing its age. Too few elevators, too small a space. The lobby, bar, breakfast area all share a communal space... Poor flow, overcrowded, basically a mess. The free breakfast is a joke and is overrun by those eating, leaving through the lobby and headed for an elevator. I stayed on the 5th floor. Spent the majority of my time waiting for the elevator. They need at least two more elevators. So get a room on the first floor. Two of the four computers in the "office" w... Read more

If you are in Vegas for business, find another hotel! The Parking is not great if the hotel is almost full. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. Their system was down during check in at 6PM! It took a while to resolve. A lot of people were waiting to check in. Older hotel and not up to the usual Hampton standards I have seen.

This Hampton is larger than your average Hampton. They have a larger area for. Real fast and a nice exercise room. The hotel is a little older. Some rooms do it have microwaves so you may have to request one.

Jack, our Shuttle Bus driver from the Hampton Inn was friendly and gave us advice on where the local favorites go. He was top notch and was familiar with locations and area attractions. We also were picked up from Airport and he gave us specifics on where to be picked up. No waiting! Kudos to Jack!

It's amazing when a hotel manager or first desk person upgrades you to a suite from a simple request, especially when you're using your Hhonors Points. My wife & I are on our 40th Annv & when I booked this hotel right across the interstate from the Las Vegas Strip, I mentioned we were on our 40th annv & were on points but if they had an upgrade available that would be nice. They not only upgrades us but put us in a two room suite with a dining area. Will I continue to book at Hilton/Hampton, you... Read more

This is an average hotel that is a pretty heft walk to the strip (feels much longer than the advertised 1/2 mile). Note that there is no hotel shuttle to the strip, the shuttle only goes to the airport. The walk to the strip is not pleasant, the area is on the seedy side - trashy and smelly. The hotel is a typical Hampton Inn, but on the large side so expect large crowds at breakfast. As usual in places like Vegas, the common area temperatures are kept extra cold.

From start to finish we loved this hotel. Airport pickup was painless, check-in process was smooth, hotel room was clean, comfortable as you would expect from a Hilton brand, breakfast choices better than average in national brands, one can not ask for a better location, away from strip but easy walking distance to the strip Casinos. Airport drop off once again painless and efficient. Jack was our shuttle driver, who is a valued employee, tok very good care for hotel guests. He is a keeper. Rick... Read more

The hotel is very reasonable just keep in mind it is not on the trip. The do run a shuttle to the Tropicana on the strip every half hour. The airport as well. Just be advised it only returns from the Tropicana twice once at 5:30pm and 10pm anything other then that your n your own. Uber is not a bad way. Taxis are plentiful but traffic is not your friend ! The hotel itself was nice, it was clean, very friendly staff, a pleasant stay all in all. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because i... Read more

Rick went out of his way to offer coloring sheets and crayons to our kids during the continental breakfast! Our kids enjoyed the "coloring competition" very much! We requested extra pillows and blankets which were provided right away! Thanks for a great stay Hampton Inn!

My wife and I stayed here for a single night before heading up to Utah. First off, there are NO Resort Fees - Nice! The Hampton Inn Tropicana is just off the Strip, but it is the nearest Hampton Inn to the Strip. It's a short, safe, and easy walk to reach the Strip by way of Polaris Ave and W. Harmon Ave (my phone showed us a shorter route that crossed over the I-15 Freeway, but it looked too dangerous). This hotel also has a free shuttle service to the Strip, but I seem to remember that the s... Read more

This place is amazing! First of all the cost is very reasonable given is proximity to the airport and the strip. They have a complimentary airport shuttle that I utilized. The driver, who recently relocated to Vegas, was very personable, helpful and professional. He seemed to be well versed on the best ways to get where I wanted to go while I was there. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to the strip, but only at limited times of the day. My registration/check-in went extremely smo... Read more

This place is slightly off the Strip near the south side by Excalibur and Luxor. It's nice and quiet at night and still conveniently close to everything. The rooms were clean, the front desk staff and cleaning ladies were nice and there's always coffee / tea / hot water and fruit in the lobby for guests. They actually switched up their breakfast every morning which was a nice surprise. I don't recall other hotels that provide breakfast doing this. I think the price is slightly more expensive... If you're going to stay at this property, make sure and request the side of the hotel away from Dean Martin Blvd as construction commenced early in the morning. The breakfast was good. Room was clean and of average quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel offered spa but it was not working at the time.

Stayed one night and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is walking distance from the strip, but, would recommend using the complementary shuttle. Room was comfortable and clean. Appreciated the hot breakfast and friendly staff. Didn't take advantage of the pool because it was too cold out, however, plan on using next time.

This trip was last minute and no fun, but the staff at the Hampton Inn made life so much easier. From shuttle service that was on time to and from the airport, to housekeeping who kept the room welcoming for 10 nights, the front desk staff that was always welcoming and very helpful to the great breakfast service staff that I am sure doesn‚??t get the attention they deserve, this stay was a bright spot in a difficult trip. I got a car window broken while parked in the hotel lot at night. I was refunded for my stay but it will cost $450 to fix the window. The hotel is close to the strip and no resort fee but not a very safe area. I will not stay here ever again.

During a business trip I had a neighboring room that seemed to have a party all night. Doors slamming, people yelling, and laughing. Judging from the smell I the hallway the next morning, they were smoking pot all night. I called the front desk three times between 11:00 pm and 5:30 am. Supposedly each time they sent someone up. Not feeling very rested for today's meetings.
