We really love this hotel - the rooms are great and up to date and the shower is amazing:) The rooms are always clean and kept that way by the staff. The Casino is very enjoyable and the staff are fun. The hotel is centrally located for getting around. We attended the Legends concert which was good.

Our first room was a suite that didn't have A/C vents in the bedroom, to warm to sleep in. Second room was dirty, musty and smelled bad. The third room was a Go Room, much better, acceptable but cost more.

We booked two rooms. One had an odor of dampness while our room on the 28th floor was great. We had a problem with the safe being locked upon our arrival. After waiting for 90 minutes we left with our valuables. Our safe was opened the next day after we called again.

I stayed at several hotels on the strip and a few downtown on Fremont as well, but Flamingo remained my favorite. The view from the top floor (28th) was beautiful and the room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I had minor issues with the hotel itself such as the elevators were extremely slow and it was almost painful trying to get from lobby back up to the room, sometimes taking 5-10 minutes because the elevator stopped at almost every floor. Also, the wifi connection was not good at al... Read more

The desk employees are rude, the elevators feel unsafe and the rooms need major upgrades! We were told valet would park the limo we rode 9 hours in to get there and when we arrived they told us no! we reseverd 2 rooms 4 months in advance and could only find 1 room when we tried to check in they were very rude and once we finally got our rooms the lights didnt work and the rooms really needed to be upgraded! Not happy at all. and very expensive

We checked in on Monday evening for my sons birthday which started at midnight. The rooms we got were very nice in appearance with the exception of the dirty table and the toilet seat left up like it had been unattended. The casino gaming was excellent even though I didn't take home any winnings. The dealers and pit bosses were all accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great environment to teach my son how to be 21.

We stayed 4 nights and were not impressed with our accommodations. While the beds and linens were good, the rest of the room was old and worn. The furniture was beat up and should have been replaced about 10 years ago. The bathroom was small and needed maintenance including moldy grout around the tub, a bathroom door that would not close, etc. . We were given a room on the north side of the hotel and outside our window was a pedestrian area with numerous shops. The noise from this area was s... Read more

I was here on business and this was chosen for the meeting. The room was refreshed but still was not what I would expect for a truly updated room. It was a non-smoking room and I was happy to find that it was non-smoking and didn't have a funky odor. It was a casino and there was a constant stream of people and noise in the hall. The only thing we found cheap was the room. Three nights for a midweek price of $60 a night for a mini suite. Though you had to add on resort charges. $12 for a burger, $9 for draft beer, $23 for buffet breakfast...... Things soon add up. I never did find out what the free show was that Wyndham were pushing. I suppose if you are a small hotel/casino off the strip you have to offer deals. On the strip they don't need to care. All the staff we met were polite and friendly.

We checked in just after 4pm after flying to Las Vegas from the east coast. We immediately discovered that the bathroom sink would not drain and reported this around 4:30pm. I am writing this review 7 hours later and it has not been resolved. I went to the front desk around 10pm asking to be put in another room while engineering worked on their own agenda. We just spend four days at the Flamingo ... one of the worst stay ever in a hotel in Vegas. Our room was simply outdated; when we checked-in, used soap was found in the bathroom, the wi-fi simply never worked properly, despite the fact that your resort fees (hello, resort!) are supposed to include wi-fi, always difficult to find a parking spot (in weekdays, imagine in the weekend), ask for a bottle opener, 90 minutes still waiting ... and the list goes on. A very busy place queues to check in so they have the automated kiosks which are good once you get to grips with them: booked a twin room with 'continental breakfast' which is not worth much since it consists of coffee a muffin or a yogurt. the whole place is somewhat like a railway station, the allocated room was very basic and vaguely clean, you could say it was adequate but not if you like a bit of comfort it was pretty basic. the hotel is in a good central location and most of the similar pl... All the excitement that Las Vegas has to offer is available under one roof. The casinos, bars, shows and great buffet. They have mastered the art of serving volume. I loved the flamingos. Check in and check out process was smooth. Very well located, right on the strip. There's scope in raising the room standards a little, like placing sufficient tea, coffee sachets. Plastic glasses actually did not go well with this high profile hotel.

Go rooms are nice, but the rest of the property could use a face lift. The pool is loud and has limited seating. When we arrived, the room that we had reserved 6 months earlier wasn't available, so they gave us a lesser room and offered us a small food credit (which we couldn't use). When they came back it was even worse as there sat there and still allowed the line to continue to get larger. I've never seen anything like it.

This hotel is in the middle of The Strip, absolutely fabulous location. I was travelling with my adult daughter and we had a double Go room with strip views. The room itself was fairly basic, nothing flash. The beds and pillows were awesome. House cleaning was a bit of a hit and miss, but the ladies were all very friendly. We absolutely had no problems with long waits for the lifts and we were on the 26th floor. Loved the casino, we went to a lot of other up market casinos and kept coming back ... Read more

Room was clean, no coffeemaker. :( Furniture a bit scratched up, not an issue for me.The air conditioning did not get cool enough for us though. Loved walking out into the Linq promenade. It felt like a small city with night spots, food, entertainment etc. NIce evening not far from "home" with a variety of things to do. Monorail stop here makes it so easy to get where you want to go easily.

We have used The Flamingo over several years for SEMA and it gets worse. Hotel in serious need of some TLC. But the final straw was NO WiFi for our recent 4 day stay. Hotel said they were working on the problem but I doubt it. How difficult can it be to restore? So I have 4 days of International Data Roaming to add to an already high price (for the standard of accommodation) that I think I might Invoice to the hotel. For SEMA next year it will be somewhere else!

We had a wonderful time at the Flamingo. The service was wonderful. The casino was a lot of fun with a great selection of different slots to play. I would recommend that if your in Vegas the Flamingo is a must on your list of things to do.

We did a quick unplanned trip to Vegas. Booked the Flamingo online for 1 night and ended up staying for 4. Room was clean spacious except bath room was little rough. Tub leaked and cabinet was broken. Perfect location on the strip to walk or easy access to Monorail to get to any part of the strip. Had breakfast at Jimmy Buffet's one morning great food and supper view from outside second floor looking down on the Strip.

Enjoyed staying at the Flamingo, locked in a $50 room rate for a smoking room but no coffee pot in our room, $20 more per night for a room with coffee service. View of the strip at night was fantastic, staff went out of their way to make ours a good stay - most of all, location on the strip was just what we wanted. Recommend their Food Court for inexpensive eats. We had a blast - nothing like Vegas for fun & a great getaway from all the election crap!

Found the staff generally less than friendly (excluding the bell bag staff and one person at front desk). Had a problem checking in because they couldn't find our reservation and whilst it was sorted the next day, the staff in the keys/mail line weren't interested in answering my questions about the extra charge I had to pay for one night whilst it was being sorted. Thankfully on checking out, there was a helpful and polite staff member who was able to remove the charges from my account. It did ... Read more

I stayed here for the 2016 Vegas marathon from Thursday until Monday mainly because they gave the best discount to the runners ($550/4 nights) and because of the location by the finish line. I have stayed here about 3 times previously and have always been pleased, but not this visit. I am a Platinum Total Rewards member so I was able to use the private room to check in, which was fast and easy. The lady checking us in was very nice. I was mainly dissatisfied with my room. This hotel is just an average hotel, nothing really fancy about it. The location was excellent and especially for the Rock N Roll race weekend as it is on the monorail and easy accessible. I would caution the manager that cleaning in the rooms needs to be paid a little more attention to as there was dust behind the nightstand but nothing terrible. Its great for someone looking for something affordable. Being beside the Linq was nice as well as the access to food and shopping was nearly doubl... Read more

This was the 4th time I've stayed at the Flamingo over the last 6 years. The hotel is one of the older buildings on the strip but it has been renovated and the rooms have been "modernized". The location can't be beat. From check-in to check-out everyone I came in contact with (Diamond reception, buffet, waitresses, Total Rewards, Box Office, etc) were all friendly and accommodating. The room was tidy and fulfilled my needs. The in-room wi-fi was adequate and easy to get logged on. The king bed ... Read more

We stayed here because a conference was being held here and it was simple. Our room was decent. Chipped paint in the bathroom, fridge on a rolling cart. The outlets were chipped, not sure how safe that is. View was pretty awesome. It was pretty clean. Basically needs a total remodel. I had to ask to have the room cleaned. Check in was a nightmare due to it being under my name but my boyfriend being the card holder, they took us out of line then told us to get back in, to which we said fo... Read more

I originally had a Go room facing the strip. As it was directly across from Caesar's night club, I requested a change to a garden view room the next day. (High Roller view) I have had a Strip view numerous times, so I didn't need to have that. I could have stayed in the Strip room with earplugs, however I figured as long as another room was available, I would change. I actually love the HR view with it lit up at night & with the garden greenery during the day. New room was comfortable & ... Read more

We stayed in quote, The High Roller area for 3 nights. The room was okay. However, when we turned back our bed the first night, the sheets had ink spots on them. On the third day we left our room at about 10 and returned about 3 p.m. to find our room still uncleaned. We saw the cleaning crew outside our room and said we would be out of our room in 30 minutes and asked the crew to clean our room. We returned at 1:00 p.m. to an uncleaned room and a message that it had not been cleaned due to a... Read more

We booked a strip view room and the view did not disappoint. We were high up and overlooked the Bellagio fountains - I spent a lot of time just gazing out of the window actually. The room kept the outside noise out well. However, the room felt dated and a little unclean. When we arrived, it was clear the cleaning had been hurried and we had interrupted it (despite the fact it was 8pm - the cleaning staff knocked on our door about ten minutes after our arrival to make sure we were okay with it).... Too many escalators not functioning and poorly placed. I felt like I was in London dragging my suitcase up and down stairs. It started when I parked in hotel guest parking. Had to walk my luggage down a flight of stairs to the elevator. Then down another set of stairs because of an out of service escalator. To reach the elevators for my floor I had to drag my baggage through the casino, down more stairs, then once on my floor it was still a hike to the room. Good grief! Not worth the reasonably ... The maintenance of the hotel rooms is very poor. I have a deluxe room: the furniture is old and water marked, the sink doesn't drain. The closet shelf and clothes bar are falling down. The light over the bathroom sink had a short in it and blinks in and out, and the room just smells bad...This is not what I anticipated.

Diamond status makes a difference. Claudia at check in was outstanding and the exclusive check in location made for a very smooth and uncrowded arrival. Gwen at the Diamond Lounge was impressive and gave beyond 5 star service. The Diamond status was absolutely essential to a superior stay at an otherwise fairly average hotel.

I have been to Las Vegas several times and usually stay in the high end hotels so this was my first time staying in one of the older hotels. I'm so glad I did! The Flamingo has so much character compared to the newer flashier hotels. The location is perfect and the hotel isn't so big you get lost just trying to find the elevators! The room was dirty. The week we were there a piece of candy and hair pin was on the floor, never picked up. The shower curtain was dirty. The shower did not work properly. On the 14th floor an elivator button was pushed into the wall, with a hole that was lite buy the fallen button. The steak house would not seat us saying resivation was required. When no one was at the tables. With next seating 3 hours away. We went to Ruth Chris in Harrah's. I won't be back.
