I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and LOVED it. The room was beautiful and updated in every way. It was immaculately clean, I was very satisfied. I would keep in mind that the oven is actually incorporated into the microwave if you're cooking. I stayed on the 10th floor with a view of the pool which was great! I called house keeping twice for detergent and hangers, both were promptly brought to me with no issue. The hotel is attached to the miracle mile shops which allows for easy access to the stri... So for my 38th birthday i decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Vegas. Got a great last minute deal and pulled the trigger. Here are some highlights of my second stay. The Pro: 1)Security takes there jobs very seriously. Key Card checks and when room guest make noise, trust and believe they are in the hallway monitoring activity. 2)Wifi, has greatly improved, the hotel was booked due to several conventions in town the lag was not as bad and i was able to work. 3)Non-Smoking hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom corner suite. Of all the times I've been to Vegas, it was the first time I have ever stayed in what I would consider a true "Vegas" inspired room. Not just a typical nondescript hotel room. Very sheik. Remote controlled shades, projection TV, excellent panoramic view.

This is our first visit to Elara and would definitely stay here again. We have a one bedroom condo for a family of four (twin 11 yr old boys). Be sure that who ever's name is one the reservation is the one who check ins. My husband was parking the car and because his name was on the reservation we had to wait for him. It probably wasn't a bad thing though because it was Friday night and there was not much of a selection for rooms. The gentleman who checked us in (Scott, I think) went out of... Read more

We started our stay in Vegas at another Hilton Grand Vacation hotel by the Flamingo but moved to the Elara after the first night. We wanted something a bit nicer and were very happy with our decision! The room was beautiful! Very spacious, floor to ceiling windows, huge bathroom with great lighting (girls, you know this makes a difference), mini kitchen, cool decor. Besides having to wait a bit to check in - the service was impressive. Text messages to see if we needed anything, attentive and p... Read more

This hotel is perfect for a Vegas stay - loved that you do not have to walk through a casino to get to the elevators, but Planet Hollywood is connected! Rooms are big and decorated with bright colors. A little pricey, but the rooms do come with a kitchen, not sure how much you want to cook in Vegas, but the option is there.

Rooms were not clean, furniture was missing/broken. Put towels down in shower or wear shower shoes as shower had old shampoo caps/ soap from previous guests, and slimy floors. Disappointed...t this was a Hilton Resort. Hilton usually means quality.

The check-in system is way too slow. The staff seemed to be trying, but the number of keys they have to hit seems way out of line with what should be necessary. Especially since most of us have already entered most of our information before we arrive. I'm a Hilton Honor member, but they had no way of looking that up. I'd say others in the line looked about as upset and tired as I was when I made it through the process. Twice, because the room wasn't available the first time through. No short ... Read more

The views are very nice, location is good, decor was good, the room was spacious and parking was ok but could have been better. More details: We arrived early and were able to do an early check in so that was great. We had a view of Paris and the High Roller, it was very beautiful at night. Came here my first time for a family vacation - we are owners at this resort. The hotel is easy to find and connected with Planet Hollywood. All the employees are very friendly and helpful - one of the waitresses at the pool even remembered my dad and mom from a year or so ago. I am in town for a convention at the MGM. Stayed at Elara because I trust Hilton and it is not a casino. I walk two blocks to the back door of the convention center. Checkin was a breeze. The property is gorgeous. I come every year for a convention and this will be my go to hotel from now on. Stay with confidence. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable and staff were amazingly responsive to all our requests.

Love the non smoking atmosphere. Love the smell of the downstairs lobby! Last year we stayed in a studio, this year we booked a one bedroom suite and it was beautjful. This was our first time at the Elara and it did not disappoint. We loved the room...it had everything you could want, including a washer/dryer and full kitchen, as well as a huge projection tv (which my husband loved!). The pool was really nice, especially when the temps were 110+, and we loved being attached to the mall. Very convenient location on the strip. We will be back to the Elara for sure!

Huge resort located a block off the strip, convenient to everything. Monsterous room with mini kitchen, only downside was very limited electrical outlets. We had what few devices we used scattered about the room to either use or recharge, had the outlets been more convenient I would have rated the room excellent.

I booked Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations last week. Upon arrival, my initial reaction when driving up and walking in the lobby was quite impressive. Pool area great, Starbucks in the lobby, entrance to million mile mall in the lobby (OMG!). There was even a bar in the lobby. A first for me at a vacation rental. The room was spacious and well appointed but had a few draw backs. While it had a microwave, dishes and even a dishwasher you can't get a room with with 2 beds without paying for a suite. The couch does pull out to a bed but putting it back each day is work. Access to the hotel is through the Miracle Mile shops which is kind of a pain. I did like the security at the elevator but if you really wanted to you could get by.

My wife and I recently spend 5 nights at the Elara. This place was almost perfect for us. Well appointed rooms and a great location. No casino, but that was no big deal for us as we don't gamble much, and going over to Planet Hollywood was easy when we did throw away a few dollars. Though not technically on the strip, the walk from room to strip (through the mall) was no longer than it would have been at the Mirage for Bellagio. We stayed at Elara for 6 nights in a 2-bed suite. The suite was big. We have no complaints about the room, but it could be updated, as there is a noticeable wear and tear, for example, kitchen caninets don't align, sofa is torn in places, table and chairs have dents and rips in them. The pool was small for the size of the hotel. In the afternoon ot was packed. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbours. Customer service and housekeeping staff were nice, polite and helpful.

Our stay at the Elara got off to a great start as we received an unexpected free upgrade to a suite ‚?? which aside from the floor-to-ceiling windows and plush furnishings contained in every room, had two huge separate rooms and a hot tub. Checked in late and valet was full. That was a huge bummer bc I was tired. The rooms are super nice and decorated in a very chic trendy way. The bath tub had jets in it and the window shades were operated by remote.

Stayed two nights as part of a time share thing with Hilton. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite, which was very nice. Great view for being somewhat off the strip. I had purchased a timeshare for a one bedroom grand at this property in 2009 in pre-construction when it was under Westgate. It was everything I remembered paying for. When we arrived the check in process was smooth. When we opened the door we were greeted by an 8 foot projector screen that said welcome "Mr. Gagum". The room contains a full kitchen with top notch appliances. The living area is spacious enough to seat 6-8 adults party style. The bedroom has a Jacuzzi surrounded by mirrors and... Read more

If you are familiar with Hilton properties then you will feel at home upon arrival. It will smell like a Hilton. The location right off the strip is perfect for a resort feel. Within a 5 minute walk to the Miracle Mile Shops, Planet Hollywood, and the Strip. Rooms were extremely comfort and clean. The decor leaves much to be desired but they are changing it to have every room look like a Hilton. I'd definitely stay again.

The hotel has no casino and totally non-smoking so it was great for our family. We had 2 x one-bedroom suites and it was perfect for 8 of us. Washer/dryer & fully equipped kitchen and dining table in each suite. Hotel was not able to accommodate our advance request to be on the same floor which would have made our stay more perfect. The Miracle Mile shopping central is connected with a wealth of wonderful shops. If you want high end shopping, that is just a short walk across the street (via pedestrian bridges).
