"We booked the room for 3 people for bacheloret trip, room was nice and big with good view from the window facing the strip and small kitchen. When I was booking this room I thought the hotel is PH towers which was part of Planet Hollywood hotel, however when I got to the hotel I learned that's its now called Elara and is a separate hotel. As a separate hotel it does not have much besides suites, pool and bar. All the entertainment like casino, dining and walk in entrance located in Planet Hollywood hotel that is connected to this hotel through big miracle shopping mall, its not a big deal its a short walk, but still without Planet Hollywood hotel next to it this hotel has basically nothing. Also, the suite did not have hairdryer, bathrobe and safe was broken. I requested hairdryer it was brought in fast and safe was also fixed. Costumer service was good and hotel was more quite then other hotels so it's good for people that actually like to get some sleep."

"Great weekend getaway here, but for the WiFi. Free is better guys. All other services were excellent. hHopping, bars, restaurants, pool... all fabulous. Great access to everywhere on the strip. Definitely recommending this hotel!"

"Overall a great experience. This hotel is great! Upon our arrival, we were able to have all of our dresses that had been wrinkled in traveling pressed for only $5 a piece. The staff was fast, professional, and had our dresses hung up in the room by the end of the day. The pool was nice and big, clean, and had super comfy chairs that we didn't have to pay for. The staff who cleaned the room and who delivered room service was fast, professional, and offered great advice about what to do in Vegas. In fact one of our girl friends had her purse stolen and the woman who delivered our room service gave us great advice on how to go about solving the problem. Every day the pool was great fun, plenty of sun, and on Saturday they even hired a DJ all day who kept the party atmosphere alive. Only negatives we could think of about the hotel was the quality of the room service food was a little off and the pool cabanas are not worth the money you spend (the service was barely there)."

"This is a top class resort. We initially had a junior suite, but was upgraded to a 1 bdr suite as a result of the flat screen t.v. in the bedroom not working. The full 1 bdr suite is the way to go. It is stylish, spacious and came with a projecter that you can watch t.v. on the window shades. It also had a fully equipt kitchen with nice stainless steel applkiances, jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, seperate shower, washer/dryer and flat screen t.v. in every room including the bathroom and kitchen. The kids had a blast watching their cartoons from the projector and the whole family was entertained and felt very comfortable in what we felt was high end accomodations. With the family happy it allowed me hang out, gamble and enjoy the night seen while they enjoyed the view and accomodations from the 50th floor."

"I recently stayed here it was The PERFECT LOCATION!! Right on the strip, close to other beautiful hotels! I am 23 years old, I wanted to find a hotel that on the strip, nice fun decor for the room, and awesome view. This was perfect! I loved the hotel room, the service, the room decor, the pool was beautiful & the bar. Room service was efficient and fast and the food is great. There is a mall connected to the Lobby and there is just soooo much to do! Shopping, great restaurants, all within the hotel and mall. I would definitely recommend this place to any age group. In my opinion I think it is perfect for ages 18-30. I loved and enjoyed my stay. Fyi: I am just someone who recently stayed there, I had a great experience, and I want to share it with you. I really did enjoy my stay there. The only thing I did not like was the fact you have to pay for Wifi, however, I paid for it anyways, and it was a very good connection."

"The upgraded rooms were really nice; I like the partition between the living room and the bedroom. Also, our upgraded room came with a Fridge and washer/dryer, which was cool. You have to pay for internet though, which i was a little dissappointed about. Also, getting to the Strip is a little far; you either have to figure your way through the Mirical mall or you have to go out the side entrance where the taxi's come in, and walk a few blocks."

"This was my 4th stay there in the last 12 months. IT WILL BE MY LAST!! Check in was good as always after parking (valet). 1 bedroom suite initially looked good, then we started to notice several things that were not up to usual standard Dirty towels in bathroom (Fortunately housekeeping were still close so we changed them quickly) Bathroom door remained locked, unable to open without walking through to the other door. Lock was broken. Safe didn't work. Showed error all the time TV in bathroom would not work ( not that I watch much TV in the bathroom) Carpet was very dirty in living area Ironing board missing, we had to request a new one Worse thing was that on returning from a night downtown where we took our vehicle out of the valet parking to be told that valet parking was 'For owners only'. We have parked with their valets during every stay in the past with no problem. In the scheme of things I'm sure they will not miss our reservations and cash in their Casino and restaurants, but I have the luxury of being able to choose where I spend my money and it will not be here any longer."

"This used to be my favorite hotel to stay in when we would go to Vegas, about every other month or so as I'm only 3 hours away. I used to recommend this hotel to everyone but not after this horrible weekend. I booked this trip to celebrate my wifes birthday. We arrived on Wed. 3/28 and checked in. We immediately upgraded our room to the 1200 sq. ft 1 bedroom suite as we were plannning on having a few friends over on Friday to start the celebration early with a few drinks, then go clubbing. (They had their own room) We explained this to the front desk and they gladly accepted my extra $500 for the upgrade as we were staying 5 days. Well Friday comes around, our friends arrive, and the hotel decides to implement new security measures and makes you wear a stupid wristband all weekend to get to your room, when normally you would just show your room key. So now we have to go back to the front desk with long lines and wait to get these wristbands and they only issue 4 bands max per room and only too those who are on your itinerary with I.D. So now I cant have guests come to my room because they dont have wristbands and will not make any exceptions, I explain this is the reason for upgrading and paying an extra $500, which they had no problem taking and saying on weds. that i would be able to have company. To make a long story short, They ruined my whole weekend, my wife's birthday and would not make any accomodations or even offer an apology. I know there will be more people posting as there was alot of people upset with this wristband rule.. Bottom line...I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!"

"Upon arrival on 03/27/2012, the bellmen and the lady who checked us into the room were very very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and housekeeping was tops. Problems began on the 3rd night of our stay when a couple checked into the room next to us. During the night they started fighting and throwing things in the room. My daughter made 2 calls to the front desk and was told that they would check out the problem. We only slept 2-3 hours that night as the noise continued. The next day we contacted the front desk in hopes that the couple would not be spending another night next to us. We were told that 'yes - they were'. We asked to have them move either one of us and was told that they were filled up and could not do so. I then asked for some sort of compensation and was told that they had no records of our phone calls reporting the problem so they could do nothing. (That evening the people next door kept knocking on our wall so I believe they knew of our talk with the desk). Friday evening we stopped at the desk to confirm checkout time and was told 10:00 AM. When we returned to the room, our convirmation indicated check out to be 11:00 a.m. When I called the desk I was told that the 10:00 time was firm - no exceptions - regardless of what our confirmation said. So on Sat. we did indeed leave prior to 10:00. We took our luggage down to the desk to check out and ask to have it stored because we had late flights. The lady at the desk told us that the bellman could not come up to the 2nd floor that the desk was at so we had to drag our bags down to the 1st floor enterance. When we talked to the bellman they said 'of course they would have came up to get our luggage - it was their job - and could not understand why we were told that they were not allowed to do so'! Once again, they were very courteous and helpful but tit did not make up for the discourteous treatment received by other employees. Would definitely not return and would not recommend to a friend."

"A little confusion in the beginning since I believed I was booking to stay at a particular resort and was dropped off at the actual neighboring location and had to walk to my hotel. When walking through the mall, the entrance to my hotel is not clearly marked at all. I almost went past it. Once I finally made it to my room, I found it was clean and comfortable with a nice city view. The hotel has close access to the strip and quick access to shops and restaurants as to exit the elevators."

"We stayed at the PH Toers for 4 nights and 5 days. It was an amazing view and so much room . It was like a luxury appartment with all the services you would have in your own home , washing machine ,drier full kitchen and we had two bathrooms and two spas . We wished we had stayed the last two nights stay in Las Vegas . We moved to the Planet Hollywood Hotel and it was very very small no view and very old . It was definitely nothing like the luxury we had at the towers . Will stay at the towers on our next visit."

"The Elara Hotel is a great place to stay. It's in the middle of the Strip and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A Hilton property, the hotel is next to Planet Hollywood. There is a great shopping mall on the property also.

Our vacation was a superb value. Our room in the hotel offered an extraordinary view of the city. "

"Great rooms - we got upgraded to the 1 bedroom suite and loved the jacuzzi in the bathroom plus the kitchen. We were particularly impressed with the blind that turned into a projector screen. Worked fantastic. My only complaint is that two nights there was an incredibly loud party going on in the suite above us until about 2 in the morning. Both nights we had to complain twice before the party got closed down."
