Very nice rooms and staff- Restaurant was good too. Very nice to have someone take you to the strip. We had a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom and both were very nice .. Loved the balconies and 3rd floor had great views. There was a pool in every section and they also had different events during the week

We enjoyed the newly renovated villa!! The room was spacious and clean. The pools weren't crowded and relaxing environment. The hotel is close to the strip. Tip: request a villa on the 1st floor unless you don't mind the stairs.

Lovely resort, rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Washing machine and dryer in your room. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in block 15, pool is straight out the balcony in the courtyard. Shuttle bus is available to take you to the strip although it is just a short walk (5-10mis), there is a guard on the entrance at all times so your parking sign must be displayed.

We are in Vegas for a bowling tournament and we had 6 of us checking in, with an additional 4 coming. We needed 2 suites and somehow ended up with 1, so 4 of us had to get another hotel somewhere else, which broke up our group. The pools here are so crowded it's hard to get any chairs. We had to go to another pool down the way. In order to ride the shuttle anywhere you had to book it 24 hours beforehand and they don't run after 315 pm Sunday. We are bowling so there was no way to book at that t... Read more

We visited with another couple and our 21 year old daughters. The unit was recently refurbished and very nice. We were in building #15. One of the pools was right outside our door. Service was friendly and timely. Gold Mine restaurant is good. 2 bedroom unit was great. Definitely would stay again.

Newly remodeled rooms are great! Several pools to choose from and activities everyday, if you want them! Main pool could use a poolside Bar. There is a bar nearby but you must be dry, fully clothed and the wait has proved to be a bit extensive. The place is beautiful. Could walk to the strip if you're adventurous but there are shuttles too. The view is ok but you are close to the strip so it depends on the direction of your room. The view from my balcony is the pic.

We were there on a promotional deal. We stayed in bldg. 17 room 210. It was awesome! It was so clean I felt like I was at home. So much better than a regular hotel visit. Check in was great. We arrived around 7/8am &they were able 2 upgrade us & get us into the room right away. Everyone there was very helpful. The shuttle buses were good but if you needed a cab you could get one fairly quickly. We also ate at the little restaurant by the pool & had one of the best turkey club sandwiches... Read more

Very friendly, accommodating staff. I was in Building 15.on ground level. The villa was clean and home, including a walk-in closet. Didn't cook much but kitchen was well equipped. Large TVs in living and bedrooms. Shuttle service around the resort and free shuttle to the strip which was very close to the resort...about a block away. We had a recently renovated room and it was very nice. There was 4 of us and the 2 bedroom villa was spacious and clean. Resort is just a short walk to the Strip or you can utilize the resorts free shuttle service. I would recommend this place for families. Close to strip and provides a quiet retreat if you want to be close but not right in the action of the strip.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights... the shuttle service back and forth threw out the hotel was very helpful and thanks for that. The only thing that could have been better the restaurant never answered the phone and the 1 out of 7 times I called i was put on hold for at least 3-5min. Each time I ended up walking into the restaurant and there were only a handful full of guest (made me wonder what was the point of even calling in if no one would take my order). Customer service all around great.

We were a group of five friends and had a suite. Everything you need and more is there, a kitchen, a washing machine and a dryer and and and... We didn't have breakfast. There are several pools, cause the areal is big. Its at the opposite of the Venetian, but you don't have to go, because they have a free shuttle service to the hotspots of the strip. They have a little market inside and you also can book your tours inside. We stayed there twice, everytime a perfect stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort - the Desert Club Resort in Las Vegas from June 21-24. I will predicate my remarks indicating we are not members of the Resort. Upon our arrival (yes we arrived before checkin time), we were told our room was not ready. When we asked the representative an estimated time the room would be ready, her response was - "I don't know". She took my cell number an indicated we would be called when the room was ready. We traveled to Las Vegas to attend a trade show and for a family vacation. The Holiday Inn Resort is the perfect spot for being close to the Convention Center and to the strip. The only thing we found lacking was the size of the pools. (except for the main one) Each group of buildings has it own pool, but they are very small in size. I have a ownership here, when I bought it I was told I'll have access to VIP lounge, etc but when I came and asked about it, firstly they talked down to me at the owners kiosk and said I'm regular member and only higher level owners had access. Also there is no special privelges as a owner there (ï booked 3 villas for 3 days in august for a large group, not thru ownership) but was never recognized as a owner, e... Read more

We had a great stay at this well kept vacation club resort. The accommodations were very nice. Everything was updated and the 2 bedroom suite was very suitable for 5 adults. The walk to the strip was not bad in daylight hours but would recommend uber/lift after dark. We took advantage of the shuttle 2 times however, their schedule did not match ours so mostly ubered. The most expensive fare was $9.00 to downtown. The staff was very nice. I enjoyed the main pool as well as the smaller pool near ... Read more

They called us to give us a deal, if we looked at their timeshare we would get 4 nights for $249. We have called several times, months in advance and they will never give us a room. They always say that they are full and that they only have a couple of rooms they are given for this.. THEN,, YES Then they want us to pay $50 to extend this so it wont expire.. I wish someone would of told me..

We arrived very late after a seven hour drive from Los Angeles. The staff were very welcoming and efficient checking us in and throughout our week long stay. Our accommodation was well equipped with a full kitchen and flatscreen TVs in the lounge and bedroom. The resort is a short walk from the strip, or there is a free shuttle bus that runs every hour from the resort to two locations on the strip. The shuttle will also pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to the reception area. Th... Read more

The rooms in this hotel are like mini apartments. The rooms are small (the bedroom was 11 x 10, but it makes up for it by having a free shuttle to take you over to the strip, which isn't that far. The hotel is secured by a gate with a guard. The room had everything you need, a fireplace, a dishwasher and the washer/dryer is in a room attached to the balcony.

After arriving in the evening with 3 kids in tow we registered and were asked to attend a sales pitch for their timeshare program for $100 toward show tickets. We politely refused and went to find our room. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator access. The room was a beautiful clean two bedroom two bathroom suite with a full kitchen and washer/dryer laundry room. For the price it was a great deal for a family in town to experience Vegas for a couple days at the end of a 10 day trip.... Read more

We decided to stay here as it was a short distance from the Strip in a quiet area. We were not disappointed. We had a pleasant ground floor apartment excellently equipped. A short walk from a pleasant swimming pool area which also had a Jacuzzi which we used several mornings. We had great breakfasts and one evening meal in the café area near the largest swimming pool. The staff were always cheery and helpful. A pleasant end to our great road trip holiday. We successfully managed to avoid the... Read more

The reason we stayed at this resort was an attractive offer of 3 free nights in exchange of "simply" attending 2 hour Time Share presentation. Well, to start off, as we arrived and asked for the room with the best view, the receptionist gave us what I suspect was absolutely the WORST. Ground level with the "view" of the mechanical house. In addition the "villa" was dark and had a horrible musty smell to it. Disappointed, we went back and asked for a different room. After a long wait they finall... Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is not on the strip but it is located at a walking distance from it. This hotel is very quite and the room with a laundry, dining room, living room and, a full kitchen was excellent. The hotel has shuttles that can take you to some of the places on the strip. You can also use Uber and Lyft, among other transportation options. The staff is very nice and polite. This hotel will be our first option when we return to Las Vegas.

We just recently became owners. The property is really nice and close enough to the strip but far enough to be away from the craziness. We are located right behind the High Roller so it's easy to find our easy back.

Restaurant, activities. Close to Las Vegas Strip & has its own shuttle bus for the strip, Fremont St. & shopping outlets. Only criticism is no door on the bathroom so privacy is compromised........ maybe the walk in robe doesn't require doors but for us two friends travelling it would have been nice to shower in pr... A pleasant easy 10 minute stroll behind the strip. The Resort is very well maintained both internal and external. Our Two bedroom 2nd Floor apartment was fully equipped and included a Washing Machine and Clothes Dryer. The resort has shuttle buses that have regular runs to the strip or to the Shopping Outlets or Fremont Street. The staff are very polite. We stayed here Five years ago and enjoyed it then and again as much this time.

We are owners in Holiday Inn Club usually staying in the east coast properties. As a first time visit we booked here with 2 villas- 10 people. The property is consistent with HICV. Nicely appointed, clean, modern but classy, easy access anywhere and wonderful staff at every turn. We especially love that once we enter the gates the hustle and bustle of Vegas is removed. We are getting the best of both worlds.

Remodeled in 2012, this is definitely the best Holiday Inn I ever stayed. If all resorts were like this I would almost sign up for timeshare - which this place offers. To get to the strip you may need a car, however they offer a shuttle service although rather infrequent. The bathroom could use some better light and/or a magnifying mirror and they should give better instructions for wi-fi. None of my browser opened the sign up page and ha to call the front desk for that....

This resort was fantastic! I was impressed by the entire resort. There was a beautiful pool right next to a restaurant that served some very tasty meals. And if you wanted, you could even eat poolside. The rooms were modern and the kitchen was fully stocked. I wasn't impressed by the small balcony facing Koval lane. If it weren't for the views of the Harrah s and the Link and several other hotels that were illuminated at night, and the High Roller ride that was stunning to look at, we would no... Read more

I have owned timeshare for 30+ years and have watched the market change from points and set weeks to floating time to points only. I have seen the innovations of the several companies that have owned this property, and the one across the street before Harrah's bought/developed it. It's been quite a storied history since its days as Flamingo Terraces, Ramada, Summer Bay, and now Holiday Inn Vacations. Plenty of room here. They put us right down the bottom. I liked it there though as there was a good view of the strip from the balcony. Plenty of pools. Nice sized rooms. Not too far to walk to the strip. Plenty of parking space. No pushy timeshare talk if you say no first time. I appreciate that. Free wifi. Food shop is a bit expensive though.

We spent a week here and liked: The location right across from "The High Roller", nice clean room with full kitchen, free parking, shuttle to multiple strip location, concierge services, nice pool & hot tub. We didn't like: Backup beeping of the 25+ golf carts parked right behind building #21 in the morning starting around 7am and again late afternoon.
