"Price was good when I reserved the hotel, but when I got there, they still charge me $22.00 more. The room was very clean and spacious which was nice but Manor Lodge at Circus circus was too far! They send me to the very last building and almost towards the end.. that was too far. Wished I could of had a closer room to the hotel."

"Staff was friendly and helpful but the rest of the stay was noisy, dirty carpets & just generally outdated and run down. We only stayed there for sleep time and left every morning until late night. You can pretty much hear everything through the walls and the door joining the next suite. The next door suite had kids up until late st night, bouncing balls off of the walls etc... We had to call down stairs and they moved us to another room @ MIDNIGHT ... They should separate family suites from people with no kids."

"Our room was nice with some of the upgrades that have been made. However, the rest of the hotel was NOT clean. Money & time needs to be spent on cleaning/upgrading the rest of the place up. The areas to get to the pools were disgusting (doors, floors, elevators, hallways, poor area) & appeared very old & run down. I did have some rude service at various places & felt sometimes the lines to wait to eat were rediculous which could be fixed by hiring more staff to work the lines. It is a good place to take kids but felt so disorganized which is scary when you have your kids with you.
Also, I had paid an extra $33 for a late check out & long before I had checked out my 'do not disturb' had been removed from my door (completely gone) & someone had been in my room. I had valuables out because I was coming right back & felt the sign on the outside of the door would keep them out, obviously I was wrong. that was unacceptable!!!!
Food at restaurants was awful...kids wouldnt even eat it"

"We arrived at the hotel about 11PM after traveling all day and we then stood in line to get checked in another 55 minutes. Next the man who help us informed us there would be an additional $11 per day for a resort fee! This really felt like bate and switch. Look, if it included this fee in the price I wouldn't feel as if I was taken advantage of."

"I would not recommend anyone to stay at Circus Circus no matter the price. My first night there were no simple amenities like shampoo or soap, and I just thought they were cheap. Left a small tip for housekeeping and there was an abundance the following day when I came back to my room. They give you discount cards for the food outlets so I thought I'd stay local, first night at the Garden Grill the service had lack of customer service, felt rushed, and never asked if I'd like anything else. My final morning I went to the bagel breakfast spot and they forgot ingredients to my simple sandwich that was on their menu. I used the gym both days, on the first there was no water in the dispenser, on the second there were no towels. Many little things added up to a lack of care for the guests."

"The room was nice, clean, 2 queen beds, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Stayed in the Skyrise tower 14th floor, which required passing through the promenade to get to our room. Promenade had vendors, adventuredome and cafe. My 3 year old was too short to ride on any adventuredome rides by herself, so we did not purchase any tickets there. Room package came with $15 voucher to use at the steakhouse or garden grill. Garden Grill had $10 pitchers of margaritas, which was plenty for us. Kids had a lot to do and see at the midway arcade, including circus acts every 45 minutes. Arcade games ranged from 25 cents to $1 per game, most were $1 though. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Carnival staff gave the kids an extra turn when attempting to win prizes at carnival games. We were even given 2-for-1 vouchers by one employee, good towards any carnival game. We will definitely stay here again when traveling with our kids."

Lots of fun, very family oriented place with lots of non smoking areas to enjoy. food was awesome, we tried 5 different places the Garden meal was spectacular and very reasonable. Only complaint, you need a starbucks:) long walk for coffee. We would stay here again and try the adventure dome when I don't need a cane!"

"Circus Circus is good for family with young kids traveling to Vegas. Very accessible to most places of interest. We stayed in West Tower and was so excited to see their newly renovated rooms as it says in their advertisement (booking package) but found out that carpet looks filty, no exhaust fan in the bathroom and there's no fridge or maybe just a small cooler for kids' milk."

"Upon arrival at 2:00 a.m. after delayed flights and arriving 4 hours late, we stand in line for another hour at Check-In only to be told they have no clean rooms! They gave us comp tickets to go eat 4 of us in their cafe while they attempted to find a clean room or clean one along with the other 100 people waiting. The Cafe was terrible because everyone was crammed in there with their luggage waiting for rooms. 4:45 a.m. they finally get us a room on 7-19-12 even though we already paid for 7-18-12. They tell us the room is ready and when we get to it the lady has just started cleaning it, so we stand in the hallway for another 30 minutes making it about 5:45a.m. before we can even get in the room. They removed 2 nights of resort fees a whopping $20.00. We get to the room and there is mold under the sink, the A.C. barely worked, the pipes in the shower sounded like they were banging everytime you turned on the hot water. they claimed our room was remodeled, I assure you it was not. Old TV, Old Carpet, Old Headboard, everything was old and smelly. The beds were comfortable but there was a stench that never left. We complained to a Casino Host who was more concerned than the Hotel Check-In staff and sent some one up to try to get rid of the puke smell in the carpet. The kids begged us to take them to another Hotel but we stuck it out because we were only in the room at nights. The Adventurdome was a joke, my 9 year old was too short to ride most of the rides and my 15 year old was not interested. The pools were bad and to make matters worse. We go to check out on 7-25-12 at 3:30 a.m. and the desk that said check out was unoccupied. I go to the check in counter and wait in line because you can't self check out before 6 a.m. and the Check in girl says ' It says Check out over there!' I had my fill at this point and I said ' Then show me where the person is who staffs that area, I can read, but you people obviously don't have enough staff here to take care of your customers!' She then says 'Oh yeah, we are supposed to do it, they forgot to move the sign' What, are you kidding me!!! She checked me out did not offer me the money back for the night we did not get our room to sleep in that the Casino Host told me we would get! Over all, don't do it if you are thinking of staying here, don't do it!! Spend the extra money and go to a real Hotel!! I will never stay here again! We stayed one time 10 years ago and 10 years later nothing has changed, it was almost identical to what we went through 10 years ago. Tear it down and start over like every other Hotel in Vegas but add about triple the staff and that might help!!"

"The only reason we wanted to stay in this hotel is due to the fact that there are games for kids to play and have fun. If we did not have our kids with us, we would stay at a cleaner hotel.

"I came to the check in at 5 PM and ofcourse the check in time was 3PM after I checked in and went to my room. a cleaning lady was there cleaning the room. I was so frustrated I call ed the lobby on a phone upstairs. No one answered so I had to walk all the way to the lobby. I went to the gentlmen that had checked me in. My daughter was with me to make sure that everything was ok. As we approached the gentleman and my daughter said 'The room is not cleaned and my mom needs another room.' He said that he was sorry and gave me a room on the 6th floor. My first room was on the 9th floor. If you look at your check in recods you will see what room I was first assign to and the room that he gave me. I was so, so disappionted. The bathroom facut had no hot water, The iron was scrothed and the iron board was dirty. my room should have been ready when I checked in 2 hours past the check in time and the room should have been ready for me. iIt was very inconviante to have to go all the way down to the lobby to complain about my room. This had to be the worst of room in this motel. I have stayed here once before for and my room was not like this and I had a pleasent time. Please forword this comment to the proper manager, because I want to be sure that he/she reads this and for my inconviance I would like a room for one night free of charge.After all of this my daughter took me the airport. After I told her about the room she that all the other rooms were ocupied, so got a room that would not book for someone else. I told that did not matter. I should have been given a bettter room. I told her that this should not have happened. "

"My mother and I stayed at Circus Circus for a week (last week of May 2012). We stayed in a newly renovated room in the Casino tower. The rooms were quite spacious and very nice (modern, comfortable etc). Even though we had to change rooms 3 times due to noise (our first room had an interconnecting door and the sound that travelled through wasn't very pleasant, our 2nd room was two doors along from the floor laundry! and our 3rd room was much quieter room 1328).
Circus Circus was great value for money. The reception staff were the only pleasant/helpful people we came across in the hotel. The security staff were onto it and take their job very seriously which was pleasing to see (we made a noise complaint of what sounded like a small gathering of young people next door to us one night and security made them leave).
With regards to the Circus Circus Hotel, as most hotels in Vegas you are forced to walk around the ground floor casino to enter/exit your room and to get access to the restaurants etc - it is a bit dark and smokey but wasn't too unpleasant, put it this way it wasn't anything like walking around the beautiful Venetian!
There are a lot of children that stay at this hotel, but it isn't too noticeable or annoying however a lot of kids stay up later than we did...past midnight!
Our checkin was quick and easy (I had read prior to travelling that the hotel checkin ques could take ages - I believe this is quite typical for Vegas as I saw long checkin lines at other hotels). We did arrive at the hotel in the evening and caught a taxi to the hotel.
We jumped on the Circus Circus shuttle bus when leaving which was US$7 cash per person which was a convienent hassle free experience.
I would certainly stay at Circus Circus again as the newly remodelled rooms are very nice, although it is quite a way down the centre of the strip. When you are in Vegas I found I spent more time out and about rather than in our rooms so we didn't really spend much time eating or entertaining at the hotel as the better places for this I believe were in the centre of the strip (i.e. Bellagio for the water fountain show, Mirage for the volcano show etc).
If you love shopping Ross (dress for less store) is right over the road and open until 11pm!
McDonalds is right next door and a great place for a late night snack or breakfast ($2 for a real coffee compared to $4 at the hotel).
Circus Circus is on the Strip which makes accessing everything quite easily on the bus (US$7 a day for 24 hours which I found the best deal) - make sure you get a map out of one of the free Vegas magazines, the Deuce bus drivers I found quite helpful to get advice on how to get somewhere.
One thing to note was that there is a huge empty space next to Circus Circus which looked to me like a potential building site - hopefully not too much noise gets generated."

"The layout of Circus Circus was really confusing. We got lost everytime we went in or out. The room wasn't all that great either. We were in the manor units that were seperate from the casino and the carpet looked dirty and it was obvious that it was an old hotel. The hallways smelled really bad, like yucky, musky carpet and stinky feet. The shower water kept fluxuating from really hot to really cold without touching anything. We tried to call the front desk to ask about shuttle service and no one would answer both times we tried. When booking, I figured I would go with a cheaper hotel since we probably not be there much, but I didn't expect this. Next time, I will do more research and spend the extra money to sleep somewhere I would feel more comfortable."

"We went for a birthday party and we were looking for something cheap because we were there to party. Unfortunately, they set us up at the motel-like bungalows at Circus Circus. All the taxi cab drivers told us it was the bad part of Circus Circus when they would drop us off. It was stinky and you really feel secluded as though you are set apart from the hotel itself because you are not worthy. These motel-like rooms/bungalows were called the Manor. Dont stay here, pick somewhere on the strip where you will acutally stay at the hotel."

"The room did not look as it did online or the preview. The layout of the entire hotel was really disorganized and I had to take two elevators to get to my room and even though I had a non smoking room it seemed to always smell like it. The parts that upset me the most was the fact the pool closed at 7pm. The worst was the fact that it was supposed to be a resort fee of $8.95 plus 12% tax a day which should total about $10 a day, then so why did I get charged over $200 for a 7 day stay?! I will definitely not be staying at this place again"

"Our room was clean & everyone was very efficient & friendly. House keeping was very quick. However, we ran out of hotwater in the shower after only a 5min shower, (two others needed to shower - the water was freezing) so they did not get to take showers, :( the bar soap is terrible as well as the shampoo. The a/c unit was noisy. The beds were very comfortable. There are no coffee makers in the room. (Skyrise Tower) Other than these things, the hotel is clean, and they have everything there...you never have to leave. We had a nice time."

"the hotel was clean and the staff where ok - never seen anyone go above and beyond in anyway and most of the staff seemed like they where just bored and hated there jobs - very few smiles from any of the staff. The one thing that really bugged me about the hotel is that its very complicated to find your way around in. We had to take 2 different elevators to get to our rooms. We where in the skyline tower and it almost seemed as though it wasn't part of the hotel even. The other thing that i really disliked about the hotel was that every time i had to go to or from my room i was accosted by pushy vendors trying to get me to try some type of moisturizing cream or nail tattoos, toys, massages and other things that i didn't want to be bothered with at all. By the 5th day I was about to start getting nasty with them as they where so pushy and didn't want to take no thank you for an answer ever. The hotel is quite a distance from the main strip and it is a long hot bus ride to get anywhere but for the price we paid it was ok but I think I will spend the extra money next time for a bit better experience."

"I have mixed feelings about my stay at the casino. I was upset at first because the valet attendant didn't direct me to the valet line he told me to park my car in the parking structure. I then found out that my reservation was at the manor motor lodge which infuriated me greatly. I never thought that my reservation was going to be in a room that I had to walk two min. to, and accross the street from the casino. The condition of that area was terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. I didn't even sleep that night because the person in the next room was talking so loud and we could hear everything in our room. I did talk to the manager and I got my room moved to one of the towers where my experience completly changed dramatically for the better. I was happy in my new room. It was clean, it was quiet, I slept great. My room was above the casino so a quick jump in the elevator to the lobby and we were in the middle of it all. When I left I was very happy."

"We had a long wait to check in, then when we got to our room (close to 6 in the evening check in is at 3) the room was not done and the bathroom faucet leaked. It was however fixed by the time we arrived back from our show. We booked a king room and ended up with 2 queen beds. The hotel is large and not easy to find your way through and the check in clerks were eager to help other quests so you are only given a quick explanation and good luck finding the place... The pool we never did find and it closed to early to enjoy it. The buffet was okay... The all you can eat Prime Rib was really good and a good price. Definately would not recommend to someone who is not taking children with them."

"The worst hotel I have stayed in for years! The walls are paper thin and you are able to hear what people are saying and doing all over the hotel in your room. You are also forced to buy a stupid coupon book that is useless for almost $30, which they don't mention until you are at the hotel. You can possibly check in 2 hours early but that will cost you another $20.00. It was one of the worst experiences I have had staying someplace in a long time. I even had someone from the hotel call me and say that my credit card had not been charged correctly and they need to run my card again. Well guess what? It had been run correctly the first time and they were trying to milk me out of more money. Would not recommend or ever return!"

"This is a good decent clean hotel to stay at. We were there for a week and had no problems. The beds were VERY comfortable!! We were in the skyrise tower, the rooms were big and very clean. Check in was very fast only waited about 5 mins. We are not big kid people, there were alot of kids there but never had any problems with any or alot of noise from kids. Overall we had a good experience and would stay there again and recommend it to other people to stay there. It is one of the older hotels on the strip but in our opinion it feels more like what Vegas once was. The bigger newer ones are flashier and up to date but dont have the old time vegas feel to them. If you are looking for flash and high maintenance and expensive high end stores then this isnt for you. But for the price and value it is an excellent hotel!!!!"

"Where do I begin. First o got a king room, like a requested.. But.. it was a handicap room... I.couldn't take a bath because the shower.. I almost fell in the shower.. also nice room in the west tower.. but no chair at the.computer desk..I will never never stay there.again. the casino is horrible, everything is.wayy over priced. The.buffet breakfast wasn't bad. There were spots on the toilet that wouldn't budge. I assume burn marks. When it was time for me to leave I wanted to check.out on the tv.buy.it stated a balance.of 52 dollars.. so I said forget it and just left. There was no way in hell I was gonna pay more for this. Children running through the casino.floor.. really.. I understand midway games etc.. but not when I'm trying to play a game. after staying my first night I said oh lord I don't wanna move here. "It was the first time my wife and I had been to Las Vegas. It was our 25th Anniversary. The motel was pretty nice and the value was pretty good in comparison to other hotels in Vegas. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff was friendly. The all you can eat buffet was good as well. The TV had bad reception and it would have been nice to have at least one premium channel available. We would stay here again. We stayed from Feb 11-14, 2012. "When I arrived at the hotel, there was a long line of people waiting to get check in. I thought it would be long but there were quite few receptionists so it was not bad of a wait. I forgot my credit card and told the lady that was helping me and she said it was alright...I just have to pay the room fee approx. $20 for 2 nights. And that was it. I got my keys and headed to my room. The room was in fair shape. However, the carpet was a little old and dirty. Also, I could hear the people in the next room talking. I took a shower, felt good, went to eat & gambled some and when I got back to the room, the shower was leaking. I didn't call anyone to fix it because my stay was short. I wish the cleaning people would chill a little bit and let guest get ready for check out..we have until 11 am to get out of the room. They knocked at my door 3 times! I read the reviews on this hotel and almost didn't book here but if you just go and gamble and not stay in the room much..this is a great deal!!"

"This has to be one of the worst hotels to stay at. Its such a pain in the, u know what, they make you check in at one place the you have to get back in your car and drive to another where you will be staying. Not only is there no bell or vallet service, the place is like a freakin maze. The floors for the parking don't match the hotel so you have to take the garage elevators to get to the right floor for the hotel, then the hotel elevators to get to the right floor for your room.....confusing right? It was supposed to be a great vacation, and don't get me wrong, we still had a good time with the exception of this problem and the fact the their service was extremely slow (not that we needed it very often, since we were weren't entitled to it apparently) and quite rude."

" Old, wallpaper coming off walls, bathroom floor all marked up shower water kept going from hot to cold to hot ----- Walls were so thin and could hear kids at 2:00 am . Finally, when we got there they charged us an additional $10 PER DAY FOR RESORT FEES, which were not mentioned when we booked. "Do not stay here! We were in town for a family members wedding and this place was awful! We stayed in the West tower which we thought would be better than the other rooms available, but we were sadly mistaken. Once we arrived in our room it looked like the carpet had not been vaccumed ever. In the bathroom there was dried pee on the toliet seat and clumps of hair on the shower wall. The chair at the desk also had hair on the back of it. It seemed as if someone had just checked out of the room and we got put into it. I wouldn't even walk around in bare feet that's how gross it was and I didn't want to touch anything. Our relative who was getting married; their wedding was in the chapel here so we thought it would be conveinent to stay in the same place. But we will never stay there again! We actually checked out a night early and went home just so we didn't have to stay there any longer. We will never stay here again!"

"I waited until 48 hours before I was to take my actual vacation to book the trip. I have read plenty of unfavorable reviews about Circus Circus however, I enjoyed my stay there. However, the $150.00 in saving coupon book is not all that it was made out to be. I got just what I paid for from a 3star resort. It was clean with no extra bells or whistles. Check in was slow and before we could get to the elevator there was some woman that said she had some free stuff for me...long story short, it was an invite to a time share....which I felt pressure to do from them, but I didn't!!! Other than that, Circus Circus provided me with a very clean room to sleep in with an overpriced buffet."

"It was my husbands 40th birthday, we had never been to Vegas before. The staff did not go out of there way or in anyway do something special for my husbands birthday (they didn't even say happy birthday) Our room was outdated, and not even a coffee pot in the room. "It was the worst hotel experience I had. This is not my first Vegas visit but this is my worst experience. I came with friends and when we arrived we had a long line up for check in and only two people was working the desk. When after a long wait we finally got to the counter the person told us we need to pay as our reservation is incorrect and they only got paid for one of the days. We booked as a package deal so we showed her the paper work and after disappearing for a long time she came back and told us we need to contact the booking company as there is nothing she can do. We asked her to call and she refused but she told us she booked us in for one night and we need to deal with the rest our self and to come back and check in the morning with the supervisor. This is not a good customer service but we were tired and wanted to go and shower and rest after a long travel day. We called our booking company right away and they said it all looks good on their end and they will call the hotel for us. In the morning we were worried so went to the check in and asked for the manager as we were told. When she finally came over she looked in the computer for a long time and told us all is good but she kept sighting and looking down and rolling her eyes we could clearly tell she was sick of doing her job or she was clearly annoyed by us asking for her. The room was loud and the bath tub barely drained and even after I complained never got fixed. When time came for check out same thing long line up and only one person working. When we asked for direction to Starbucks the first morning we even got sent to a hotel that didn't have one. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone."

"I was diappointed when I checked in that they didn't give me a room with a king size bed that I asked for in my reseveration.I was told I should of called if I couldn't check in at a certain time. Iwas not told that ahead of time.So they said I could move the next day they would reserve a king size to check in after 3. When I got back to the hotel they had given that room away saying I should of checked in by 6.Itold them I wasn't told that.Finally they moved us to another part of the hotel to king size room.
If you go to circus circus make sure to eat at Garden Grill for dinner.The prime rib was great along with the other food our party ate.Their service was wonderful,friendly fast,and kept up with asking if there was anything else you wanted.I would highly recommend this resturant."

"when arriving I was informed that the room I booked a (King) wasn't available. the staff didn't seem to concerned about the fact we had to accept a room that I didn't book. they simply said to contact them the next morning to change rooms. We called down about the pay movies in the room and asked to have them turned on and the circus staff member stated that we would have to come down to the front desk (not close) and put a deposit on on credit card of $50 in order for them to turn on the movies in our room. I simply informed them that they had my credit card on file from checking in and they insisted they couldn't accept it in that mannor. we requested that our beds be made, new towels, etc which happened the next morning but not the remainder of the stay. we had to call for towels and 2 out of 3 nights our beds were made by us. I've traveled all over the world and for a world attraction such as Las Vegas I expected at least a willing hotel staff as well as our basic needs met."

"Our stay at circus circus was good until we were checking to make sure we did not leave anything behind and found a dirty diaper under the bed skirt very unsanitary if you ask me. So we told the manager and all they did for us was comp us the resort fee for both nights what a rip off probably won't stay there again.FYI the buffet was not very good either and it was $16 something a person even with the players club card. The food was cold we had to get our own drinks.When we called down to ask for more blanket and towels the lady said she would see what she could do in a rude way."

"I just loved it. I had not been to Las Vegas in 14 years, The Manor was very clean and comfortable. Service was good from all the venders, and Food was good to. The Steak House was the best service I have ever received and the Food Excellent! When I come back to Vegas I will stay with you again. Thank you Carol Ann Johnson."

"It was a great experience even with a minor room change due to the room they gave us being occupied by other people. The problem was resolved once we reported it back to front desk. Make sure to request room in the main building otherwise they send you to the building off to the side of the hotel parking lot. Which aren't very attractive."

omg!!!! We had a wonderful time. So many things to do in such a short time. i plan on returning with my wife and son. The hotel was nice. If you love Christmas lights this is the place to go.
I felt like a child again, omg, what i time we had. Thank you Circus Circus.

"We had so much fun except there's so much walking. I like that you have a iron and an ironing board and hair dryer. A coffee maker would be good to add in the room. Housekeeping is also good. Making sure that the bathroom is always clean and the bed made up. The buffet is also good, the only problem is the food stations are not together. I almost missed the dessert part. We were ready to leave when we passed by the dessert station and decided to go back and get dessert and hopefully our table is still there."

"The flight to Vegas was good but we were put in a building E down the
street from the casino very long walk for 5 days,water was 3.00 a
bottle,could not drink the water in the hotel tasted honorably bad, everything was very expensive was not worth going. "

"I have to say this trip for me, was the first trip in my life.I decided to reserve at Circus, circus because there price was reasonable. I expected to see the resort run down because it is one of the oldest casino's. But I have to say, it was so beautiful, clean, very comfortable, reasonable price, and had many fair prices. The people that worked there were so great and very helpful. The food was awesome and the casino was great, even though I didn't win. lol.There was so much to do there, I could have stayed there all week. and not have enough time to see everything at Circus Circus. I would definatley send my friends and family To Circus Circus. I do plan another trip to Vegas and plan to stay there again."

"I had a wonderful time, the Circus shows are exelent. Stores and restaurants on site, also MCdonals. Yu,ll fine around the corner CVS,gift stores, liquor, and diferent kind of food restaurantes. Bus service. Etc.You can walk to other famous hotels and casino.
The lobby hotel looks poor and dark."

" This is a fantastic resort for the entire family. The Adventure Dome was AWESOME! The Canyon Blaster, Disc 'O and the Sling Shot were some of my favorites. The Sponge Bob 4D show was also a blast! I could have shopped all day in this hotel, as it was massive and selection of restaurants were very diverse. I previously read that the 'Steak House' was voted best of Las Vegas for over 20 years and recently named by Zagat for 2011 as Top Steak House in Las Vegas, so we decided to dine there. The menu prices range from $30.00 to $100.00 a plate. I had the Rib eye. The steak was dry aged, cooked to perfection and well worth the price. The service was first class and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Our servers friendly attitude and extensive knowledge of the menu made the experience just as enjoyable as the food. Our drinks were never less than half full and the homemade blue cheese dressing was to die for. I would recommend this resort, as well as this restaurant to all of my friends and family! "

"my family and i stayed in circus circus for 2 weeks the staff were really pleasent actually everyone was very nice very clean easy access to the strip for shops the bus down to old town it was great food was excellent it was that enjoyable we have all booked into circus circus again this september and my partner and i are to marry there aswell carnt wait roll on the 8th of september 2011, here we come again xxxxx"
