For a four star hotel, I was expecting more. We got the standard room with 2 queen beds. The room was small. They actually made a mistake and gave us a king size bed instead of 2 queens. The pool wasn't kid friendly. I was hoping there is a pool for kids. I would not recommend this hotel for people who have young kids.

We are travelling around the United States as a family (2 adults and a 9yr old) for one month and the Bellagio was our first stop for 5 nights. We like to stay here to chill out and get over our long flight from Australia (it's a 23hr day by the time we get to Las Vegas). Upon arrival their was a very long queue for check-in. This is our 3rd stay and it will be our last. Staff were not friendly, bordering rude (we were very suprised as our previous experiences have been faultless). Rooms ar... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Bellagio. We had good experience, the room was sufficiently large, clean and comfortable. Our interaction with staff was very good. The downsides were the very long check in line after a long journey. Also the casino floor we found to be overly smokey, I understand this is a tough issue to control since its legal to smoke inside, but we found that other places like the cosmopolitan seemed to have better ventilation as the smoke was no where near as bad. The right-hand side of the suite had a pool table, large dining table, plenty of seating, TV, decent sized kitchen/wet bar (fridge could have been bigger but we filled the sink with ice and too, so all good) - we had plenty of room for a photobooth and a live duo (piano, guitar, speakers etc) to set up. We stayed in the penthouse with fountain view. It was a beautiful suite with his and her bathrooms. There was a wonderful steam shower and jacuzzi bathtub. It was worth paying the extra for VIP room as it meant no queue for check in and access to a beverage lounge. There are TV's in every room (including the bathrooms) and none of them worked properly. It's a lovely hotel on the surface. Beautiful architecture, perfect location, world class lobby, AMAZING restaurants, an art gallery, a great Cirque show, a monorail, and - of course - the fountains. This alone should be enough to garner the Bellagio hotel a 4/5, right?!?! Sadly, though, I can't go above 3/5 for several reasons. First, the rooms are fairly small compared to other 5-star hotels on the strip, with nothing really special about them. You can pay for an upgrade, I suppose, but... Read more

It's always a treat to view the themed garden room with the elaborate display of floral creations. The incorporation of Chihuily glass in the lobby and other area turn the hotel into an art gallery. This place is crazy. Having never been to Vegas before, we were very surprised by how big it all is. The lobby, massive, the line to check in, equally so. But that's what you get when you visit on a national holiday weekend. A plethora of restaurants encircle the gaming floor. As well as the route to and from the room elevators, which seems to be the same at each venue on the strip. Be warned. If you hate cigarette smoke, your going to have a rough time in Vegas. Many restaurants and nice little bistro for breakfast where you could eat outside, the front desk was very helpful and tended to all of our needs, it's easier and way quicker to take a limo at the front of the hotel then to wait in an insane line for a cab if you need a ride to and from the airport or a show, lots to do loved it!

This hotel is like putting lipstick on a pig... I try to like Bellagio, but they make it so difficult. Attending an annual conference at Bellagio, and each time I have problems that don't seem to be able to correct. It is mostly around staff and lack of training. My wife and I visited for 4 nights last month for our 2nd stay at Bellagio. Upon check in we were upgraded to a fountain view room upon request. This was clearly a better room choice than our initial visit, where all we could see was the rooftop. The staff were very accommodating and willing to please any request. The room service and valet parking were timely and never had a long wait for either. It helped that we didn't have to pay for valet because we were GOLD members on MGM card. I would re... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Checked in quickly (unlike other reviews and subsequent long lines we saw). Room was excellent and the bed was perfect. We ate in the buffet on the first night and thought it was very average for the price and also had a 40 minute wait before getting in. We ate at cafe Bellagio the second night and found this to be much better, the meal was excellent and very good service. This was our first trip to Las Vegas and when we told people we were staying at the Bellagio people seemed to suggest we had made a good choice. The hotel was certainly amazing and from the moment you arrive you are surrounded by luxury and great service! Having visited many of the hotels while in Las Vegas they fall into three camps. Love the Bellagio and I would stay here every visit to Las Vegas. The property is the classiest hotel and casino, and I love the seasonal installations although I missed the completed autumn install - I usually visit during the Christmas installation. Always go to Petrossian, and the fountains are great - although the sound of the music in the room could be better from the TV. - Lake view of course!

Really appreciate that they've been able to maintain this quality for quite some time. Our only disappointment when leaving The Bellagio is that we wish we could have stayed longer. .......until next time.

Just Stayed a couple nights at the Bellagio for my Birthday and it wasn't good. Did not get the room I requested and paid for, however my smaller room did have a great view of the fountains. That was not my major problem. My TV had numerous issues and got no signal. After screwing around myself for 45 minutes, I had maintenance come up and they were finally able to fix it. There was a lot of black mold on the ceiling of my shower, the bathroom door lock was broken, the frame on the picture above... Read more

Couldn't wait to come back to Vegas opting for the bellagio this time. Check in is nuts, so busy and so slow. Then the guest elevators were through casino which is a little tricky what with all the people milling around and then if you've got wheels on your cases the carpets slow you down. After 12 hours travelling I was getting a bit grumpy! You have to show your room card to get into lift lobby, bit of a pain if you've only popped down to get 2 morning coffees from "snacks"! We had a King suite, room and bath were clean and well maintained. Played some slots, saw the O show, ate Thanksgiving dinner at the Fix restaurant (great food for the most part, but a little crowded), took a Pink Jeep Hoover dam tour. Hotel/casino very nice location, lots to see and do in the area. Bellagio night time fountain show was pretty cool to see.

We got a fountain view room on the 20th floor and it was an incredible night watching the fountain shows for HOURS from the comfort of our room. You can listen to the music on designated tv station and it is SPECTACULAR. Mesmerizing. (Totally different view than from the street). The room was large, had a comfy bed and a comfy chair to park yourself by the window. There was a soaking tub and stand up shower. We ordered room service for our Thanksgiving dinner to avoid crowds and our room ... Read more

I would have given Bellagio a 5. It's a gorgeous hotel. The rooms have all the amenities you'd want. We stayed in a 2 bedroom penthouse, and it felt like a movie. Automatic shades, steam shower, luxury bath gels....stocked bar! However, we booked a two bedroom penthouse with a connecting room (totaling 3 bedrooms). I had confirmations in hand with a prepaid deposit. I spent 45 min on the phone a week before our trip and confirmed everything. Then we got there, and it wasn't available. We had t... Read more

Bellagio always comes out on top in Las Vegas. After all these years, it is still THE destination for Las Vegas. The Conservatory is outstanding. Everything is "top notch". The location is much better than The Wynn or Venetian. Even The Buffet at Bellagio is the best in Las Vegas.

A beautiful hotel situated on the strip. Rather overwhelming with its sheer size and magnificent casinos. The rooms are big and spacious. The hotel has its particular theme like the others on the strip. From three thirty onwards the fountains in the front of the hotel come on and look spectacular lit up. What it lacks is the warmth and because of the size there is a kind of impersonality in the behavior of the staff.
