"We booked the day before we return to Las Vegas from Grand Canyon. This is comparatively an old hotel but it turns out to be very clean. We get an upgrade room since they didn't have a two queen beds room for us at the time of check-in. It is a much better value than our previous bookings from other hotels since it matches the more expensive hotels in most categories. The location is also great while we walked around the downtown area for entertainments and dinings. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely use them next time we visit Las Vegas."

"Waited in Q for about 20 mind to check-in. Water was not draining in the bath tub had to wait 1 hr and make 3-4 calls to housekeeping and etc.... Issues"

"The hotel is pretty nice, but they put us in the old part of the hotel which I feel is way over priced even with the discounted 'mystery hotel' pricing. The rooms are not that immpressive a little out dated, pretty clean & beds were comfortable. The pool (the 'tank' ) is pretty cool, but it is so crowded, you have no personal space. Lounge chairs are literally touching one another. If you are not there bright and early in the morning to get a lounge chair, cabana, etc and reserve a spot, then you are out of luck for the rest of the day. The slide and shark tank are cool and different, but I dont think it's worth dealing with the crowds of people around the pool. The Valet and Bell service staff are very freindly and helpful."

"My room was a smoking room, little did I know or recognize and boy did it smell like smoke on entry. Lysol didn't help. The front desk offered to move us to another room the next day, but we just put up with it. Feels like i might as well slept in the casino. I like the location and love the pool. I would definitely return again, but ensure when booking, we book a Non Smoking Room. I don't remember if I was given that option with the Mystery Property format."

"The hotel was nice. The casino was very dark and smoky. Food was way overpriced. Pool area was nice but very overcrowded with a limited number of chairs in the sun. The hotel room was very spaciois the beds comfortable but the view out of our room was not the greatest. Also the price I paid I found for $20 less on hotels website. I thought they (the Hotel Would upgrade me to the nicer tower)but no.. Desk clerk was a snot. Also do not eat in Chart House way too pricey. Hotel and ammentites are nice Frement Street IS crazy But it is fun"

"Very nice hotel, rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable, restaurants were very good,There were a lot of blackjack table games & slot machines. Out the door was Fremont St with many other casinos to visit The night Laser show was Great When we come back- would stay here again."

"We booked this hotel by a 'Mystery Booking' so didn't know initially what to expect.
The hotel was very difficult to find self driving, we found it but there was no where to park while we booked in. By asking many questions and waiting we then discovered that the FREE parking was close by. This hotel is huge with many towers. Ours room was roomy with two beds and clean. Lighting was TOO DIM.
We had to pay for wifi which was uncalled for we thought.
We were not interested in the Casino but had to walk through it and as usual the smell of smoke was horrible.
The famed light show was spectacular and really worth watching -the whole event is a bit of a circus but entertaining and fun.
Staff were very helpful except the line up to book in was time wasting. Express check-out was excellent.
This hotel is a LONG way from the action of The Strip. There is a bus which is quite convenient, but next time I would stay closer to the Strip....The value of this stay was excellnet and we had a fabulous dinner at The Chart Restaurant.

"The hotel was in a perfect location, Fremont Street. The room and restaurants were delicious. The staff courteous and friendly. There were no hidden charges other than the rental car insurance which was an additional $20 per day, we were not expecting that!
My husband and I would be happy to go again and recommend it to friends."

"I booked the mystery hotel for the price. The staff was very uppity acting as if they were better than their customers. Do not eat in their restaurants (they are way too pricey). The room we stayed in Carson Tower was nice but not overly spacious. The bathroom has a dicstinct sulfer smell around the toilet. When I told clerk at checkout he said he would have it checked into but was not overly concerned about it. The pool is nice the casion is very large lots of walking around Golden Nugget. It was fun and pretty though."

"We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this hotel, rooms were spacious, bed was great, very comfortable, restaurants were very good, loved the martini bar, and the pool was a fun experience. We had just booked for one night, but returned for one more night before we flew home. Great value for your money....."
