"I was very disappointed and disgusted by our stay here. It was FILTHY! Dirty, disgusting! I have BED BUG bites ALL OVER!!!!!

The room was FILTHY! There was MOLD, yes Mold in the bathroom in several places, mold int he Jacuzzi tub in the room and rust stains. Dirty, stained carpets int he room and all over the hotel. Stains on the curtains! The hotel smelled absolutely awful-reeked of cigarettes. Staff was not very helpful or friendly. VERY thin walls- you can hear everything from your neighbors! Food was decent and fairly priced, although I tried not to stay in the hotel as much as possible!

No microwave in the room. No refrigerator in the room NO FREE WiFi in the hotel! NO COFFEE MAKER in the room! No flat screen TV. And is much less in price.

Only good thing was the indoor pool... I would NEVER stay here again! Even if it was $50. And now I have itchy bed bug bugs to remind me our our horrible stay.

I DO NOT reccommend this place. I would NOT use Montbleu ever again! A dirty, old, dated 'resort'"

"When we checked into our room, I notice dried blood on one of the pillow cases. I placed the pillow on the floor and figured the pillow case would be changed the next day. After our room was cleaned the next day I noticed the pillow case with the dried blood was still there and placed on the bed. They did not change the sheets! When I called they just brought up two new pillows. Everyone that worked in the stores in the Hotel were friendly and helpful but it just grossed me out that they didn't change the sheets!"

"Hotel was great!!! Best hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Such a good value and a great time. UFC was on and it is the only hotel/casino that was showing the fight. A great weekend!!!"

"would not recommend this place. outdated and run down. staff did not communicate with guests when all customer elevators were not operating. our room had a water leak from the outside of the shower enclosure. Had maintenance in my room and all he did was wipe up the water and leave. The leak immediately returned. I didn't want to use one of the towels in my room because there were signs posted that stated to use only one towel! No more were coming during my stay. There was yelling and arguing all night long and I called security and this did not alleviate the problem. I did communicate my issues to the hotel staff when I checked out and they could care less. Not even a sorry for the inconveniece........."

"When we arrived at the Mont Bleu hotel we were excited. It was a nice hotel nestled in the heart of Lake Tahoe. Upon arriving we were told that an extra 50 dollars per day ($150) had to be put on our debit card for secutity reasons (in case we mess up the room). This upset us a bit, because we were never informed that this would be an exspense we would have to pay, and it wasn't bugeted for, so we didn't get to enjoy our time in Tahoe as much as we should have been able to. We asked when this money would go back on our card, and the guy told us not to worry that it would go back on our card immediately upon checkout, so we were happy to hear that, but of course... that wasn't true and it could take 3-5 business days. This was another monkey wrench that we didn't need, because not only did we need that money for food and such while we were there, but we needed a portion of it for gas in order to get back to WA. If this wasn't enough. We also had to pay an extra 2.25 per day for use of the spa/pool facilities. This was surprising to us, because not only were we not told, but we never even used those facilities while we were there.

While I didn't have a problem with the facilitie or our room... I am completely unsatisfied with these deceitful charges and the way that the staff doesn't properly explain them. It would have been nice to know all these things ahead of time, and theres absolutely no reason every guest should get charged for using amenities that they don't use.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE!!!"

"Great staff! We had two little kids with us and showed up at 2:30pm for 4pm check-in. They were very nice and let us check-in early. Indoor pool is a lot of fun and great during cold winter months.

If I had to complain, no coffee maker in the room is a bit outdated. No way to escape the smokers in the casino either!"

"The casino is ok, number three compared to Harvey's and Harrah's casinos, the rooms are rough around the edges but for under 70 dollars a night with the third night free you can't beat it! The staff didn't want to change the linens on the bed for some reason so we removed the linens from the bed, well the next day they didn't clean our bathroom! Your not going to win a war with the staff, trust me, just suck it up, and pay higher rates somewhere else (Cheep-o, i was, sorry, looked like a great deal )! Poor customer service, but what do you expect when your paying pay-less prices! I wouldn't stay there again!"

"Had a premium room that, overall, was very nice. Great large bathroom. View of lake was awesome. The biggest complaint by far was the loud neighbors. We had an adjoining room, and the sound easily comes through the adjoining door. Also, it is a shame you can't open the windows to get the fresh Tahoe air. The other complaint is the room did not have a coffee maker. Has to be the only place I've stayed without one."
