We stayed here for 4 days and we were fortunate to be lakeside. It was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. The deck was great to sit out and have coffee. We enjoyed the incredible beach from sunrise to sunset. Staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

From the warm welcome we had upon our arrival to the great service - food and activities provided - our entire stay here was special indeed. Our room was relaxing and comfortable from the understated but "calming" decor to the wonderfully comfy beds - and great bath amenities. The view from our window seat looked over the pool and firepit area with the mountains in the distance. One of our amenities was a box of S'mores to be cooked over an open fire! Great fun for all in the evening. Beach... Read more

Booked the regency room with access to the regency club thinking we'd have a quiet, peaceful place to eat and converse and enjoy the view from the windows. Much to our surprise the room was teeming with noise, unruly children running around underfoot and shouting as loud as they could. It's really appalling how people let their kids run wild with no regard for others. The employees in charge of the room did nothing to help and acted like it was just okay. What a disaster! Love this hotel and location. Have stayed many years and was so sad to stay this time. The bed was hard, we had to chase down a waitress after waiting 40 minutes for a drink outside at the beach. The concierge handed me a piece of paper when I asked for a dinner recomendation and didn't know which restaurants were open or closed. The concierge also did not offer the Hyatt BBQ when I later found out there were still spots available. Seemed like a bunch of young adults playing hoteliers. Th... Read more

Outdated hotel in need of a renovation and customer service training overhaul. Towels are old and need replacing, rooms in disrepair. I normally stay at The Ritz Carlton at Northstar, but decided to be close to the lake and the beach this time. The room rate was more than the Ritz and against my better judgement I booked it anyway. My concerns started as soon as received my keys and headed to my room. As I walked up to my room there was a refrigerator and a glass of soda sitting right outsi... Read more

Large, family resort. Kids everywhere. All you need to know is that half the men in the cafe for lunch had their hat on. Extremely expensive, especially the lake front restaurant. Mediocre service. Nice location. Nice beach. Take your kids, your wallet and your hats.

There is so much to do at this resort. The beach front access complete with a marina, bar service and water sports is reason alone to stay at this hotel. Unfortunately the winds dictated that we moved to the pool. The pool was shielded beautifully from the winds and we had an excellent day. The rooms are clean and have plenty of outlets for the family phone charging. Parking is tough to come by since this place is a casino and many come to play at night. There are plenty of restaurants on ... Read more

The Hyatt in Incline Village is a beautiful place to stay. Even though it was the the time around July 4th, and very busy, the staff remained calm and helpful. The rooms are the most beautifully designed I have ever seen in a Hyatt. There is a spacious pools and hot tubs area, created for both adults and children. The lunch/breakfast cafe is very good. I had the good fortune to spend two nights at the Hyatt at Incline Village. Check in was easy on the phone and they sent a message when the room was ready (I arrived in Reno fairly early in the morning). Our room was great. Next time, I hope we get upgraded to a room with a balcony or better (direct) view of the lake. But this time, the hotel was booked solid. The front desk staff was as helpful as possible under their busy circumstances. I prefer a bit more personalized attention, especially as a Hyatt Platinum member. Other Hyatts have treated us a bit more attentively, given our elite status. I suspect this was just because of the circumstances, or at least I hope so.

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, with its English Tudor styling and uniform pine green exterior color scheme, at first seemed a bit out of place among the log cabin motif cottages on the property. But once inside the lobby we were impressed with the rugged elegance of stonework, heavy timber and giant fireplace. The Hyatt is pretty much what you would expect it to be. Huge, nightmarish central reservations, lots of services (few of them performed particularly well), multiple choices for dining (some mediocre some very good indeed), a casino full of smokers and pretty ordinary rooms for the price. What takes this place from 3 stars to 4, is the excellent front desk staff. Helpful beyond expectation.

Loved the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Hotel location was fantastic. Very disappointed our room faced the parking lot. Think we may have liked staying in one of the cabins closer to the beach although we liked the convenience of being close to the pool with the children.

I have always been a bigger fan of the North and East shore destinations of beautiful Lake Tahoe. The Hyatt at Incline is just an amazing resort with so much to offer families or just a couples get away. We had a great room with a wooded view and it was very peaceful. The food was also extremely good and the service was great, From the front desk check in with Kelli doing a great job of making us feel so welcome to our final check out it was all very smooth and relaxing!

We came to stay at the hotel for a wedding weekend. It had good but pricey restaurants. Good location with its own private beach on the lake. The rooms were clean and cozy. We gambled the evenings at the casino and what I liked is that it didn't smell like smoke in the hotel! Lots of great active biking and hiking nearby. We had a great stay. Don't bother with valet parking. Easy to park in the lot.

Very expensive. Staff okay but not overly helpful as I would expect at a resort like this one. Several things were frustrating; made reservation for dinner but table wasn't available when we arrived. Waited nearly 30 minutes. Room okay but had small windows, no towel bars in bathroom, iron water dripped on clothes. Pool spa jets weren't working, gardeners out with electric hedging machine at pool area, which was noisy. Lots of little things added up. Just not impressed.

Decided to come here for the first time and loved it. My wife said this will be our new getaway in Tahoe and she won't stay anywhere else. The beach is only a couple minutes walk from the hotel. The restaurants are top notch.

My husband and I come here every summer for about a week and we love the property. We always stay in the same room in the spa wing, with a balcony, overlooking the beautiful pool area. As usual, the room was in great shape and the housekeeping service was fantastic. This resort has so much to offer....Pool, jacuzzis, beach (across the street), pier and more. There is so much to do. In addition, the room was super-quiet, which was wonderful. The only reason(s) that this isn't a 5* review is... Read more

As it was our anniversary I reached out to the assistant manager and he managed to get us the Emerald Bay Suite. Normally I wouldn't care, but we had a lot of people over and it was our anniversary and all. Boy what a great place. iMac comes with the room, though I have to say we didn't use it. Dual mini-fridges with ice maker, freezer and dual wine racks. 70" TV in the bedroom, which of course we didn't even use since we spent most of our time outside. Sliding pocket door. Great location, close to a ton of activities, friendly staff, and gorgeous views. We spent a week here. It's the best location on the lake. We mostly used the hotel as a home base while exploring the area. North Tahoe is unbeatable - crystal clear waters, surrounded by mountains, and plenty of sunshine!

We came here for our babymoon and it was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever had. The service at the pool and the beach was great and we always managed to get a lounge chair. The views to the lake at the beach is stunning. They have firepits at night for you to make s'mores (tip: just bring your own supplies - the hotel charges $20 for a tiny kit). The only thing I wished was that there was more food variety at the restaurants.

I loved the Hyatt! We plan on returning next year. The sking was fantastic and priced reasonably at diamond peak. They also will take you anywhere in the village for free which is fantastic because I had a hard time getting a taxi. If you contact guest services they have a list of babysitters. We used them so we could go to the casino at night. The pool is warmed but it is still very cold so be prepared. Guest services did tell us we should go to north point one day to go tubing that the ... Read more

We stayed in the cottages and could not have been more happy! The 2nd floor rooms have vaulted ceilings and a private grassy area. Only 200 yards from the private beach. another benefit of the cottage is that you can park your vehicle right next to the room which is great for packing/unpacking. not an ideal place for a pet unless they can walk stairs. The lone eagle restaurant was much better than anticipated. We took the Hyatt catamaran and glad we did! overall was one of the best family va... Read more

The hotel is very nice. Many things to do especially if you have kids. There are a number of restaurants and direct access to the beach. The only problem we had and it was a big one is that the air conditioner did not work properly in our room. They couldn't fix it and it was to late in the evening to move us, so we had to suffer in the 74 degree room. It was very uncomfortable.

We stopped in to the lakeside beach bar and grill for drinks. The view was spectacular. A little on the pricey side but it was the Hyatt afterall. From what I saw I would definitely spend a night here when I return.

Stayed 4 nights in late July. We were in a family suite which had built in bunkbeds. Beds were hard. My daughter wound up sleeping on the couch by the window. Both phones were not working in room or the tv remote. Front desk took care of that right away. We were on the club floor however found out that we did not have access to the club room unless we wanted to pay an additional $200 per night. No thanks. Beach was beautiful. Beautifully located right at the lake shore, close to all major sights, like multiple and endless hiking trails, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. We‚??ve been there during summer season and enjoyed their private beach equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. They have beach service and give towels; also you can order food and drinks and reserve cabanas. Although it is summer, but the water in the lake is quite chilly to put it mildly, most of the guests are enjoying more the sun than the water,... Read more

As a north Tahoe local, my wife loves going here annually for her birthday "staycation". This time was perfect as always. Great rooms and great service. It is busy in summer but never feels to crowded. The small casino floor is nice and separate if you want to ignore it. The beach here is amazing and the place has by far the best pool in Tahoe. And don't miss the bar on the pier which is certainly a Tahoe must do!

This is the best place for couples or families to stay around Lake Tahoe. They have a nice beach, spa and even the best restaurants in town. They also have boats and other things to rent to get on the lake, as well as a camp for kids. Ask for a park view.

Some friends were hosting a lovely party at their house down the road and many of the guests, myself included, stayed here. It seems to be the best place to stay hotel-wise in the area. Beachfront area on the lake, good food and drinks, friendly staff (especially the front desk and concierge.) But it's strange. And also quite expensive, at least at high season. I am not a huge Hyatt fan and don't stay at a ton (so forgive me for the bias). This hotel is located in beautiful Incline Village at Tahoe. There are not any direct lake views unless you pony up and pay the price to stay down on the Hyatt's private beach in one of the cottages. You literally walk less than a city block from the main hotel and you are at the Hyatt private beach or can eat dinner/lunch down at the beach. This looked like a family hotel to me---kids everywhere and families ... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for four nights last week. We are platinum American Express and frequent many fine resort and hotel properties. We didnt get any member benefits, the check in staff was ok, I pushed for a better room as pregnant and had toddler and it took a manager to come and make it happen. Linens and towels were old and dingy. Housekeeping service was horrible. Awesome location in Incline Village and great pool and activities for kids.

Despite a room description promising views of the hotel's 26-acre property, we were put in a basement room. Our view was a wall with pipes. Front-desk Abbie refused to move us, even when I offered to pay for an upgrade to get out of the basement. I expect $489/night to get something better than a basement room. I don't sleep in the basement at home, why would I want to sleep in the basement of the Hyatt?

The location is undeniably one of the most beautiful in the world. I felt very safe letting the kids journey off away from us. The hotel is quite dated and could use a revamp. The spa is very old and entire spa area smells of sewage, sorry but no other way to describe it. However, the staff of the entire property is AMAZING and almost all of the restaurants (except Saloon) offer excellent food and service. Stayed at the Hyatt in August and felt very misled. When I booked the reservation I told the reservation agent I would be traveling with my adult children and wanted a room that had a combination of a king bed and two doubles. The gent offered a VIP suite and I was told there would be a parlor, a king bed and 2 doubles. When I arrive there was a separate room with 2 doubles, but the king was part of the parlor, in the form of a very uncomfortable fold out couch. This room was $1,400.00 a night. ... Read more

To tell you the truth, I wonder about the reviews left by those staying recently as we just returned from a wonderful vacation. Let's just say, you should consider splurging for a room with outdoor space. There is a 3 story building that rims the pool area that offers patios & decks so if you choose a room with outdoor access and you won't get stuck in the tower (guessing that led to some of the bad reviews) or waiting for the tower elevator. Reserving a lakeside cottage would have been more ... Read more
