Although they are in the middle of a significant remodel I think they are doing a good job. Pam is the manager of both this one and the neighboring hotel quality inn. (The quality Inn is under construction as well. Their beds are awful don't stay there). She has amazing customer service qualities and really does want you to be happy. The room we stayed in, although not the jacuzzi room that we were promised, was still a very nice suite. King size bed that was extremely comfortable... everything... Read more

This place should be closed during remodeling, halls are full of carpet and trip hazards if there was a fire it would not be good at all, there are fire codes for a reason, and this place has complete disregard for occupants safety!

Stayed there for one night during cross coumtry drive. The hotel was undergoing extensive renovation and was pretty torn up. The room was ok and fairly quiet. The check in went smoothly and the breakfast was decent. However it left a lot to be desired for a $135 stay.

Hotel was under remodel, which is a mess ... but not cleaning under the beds in years is unacceptable - so clean there. Also having the outside key card security doors disabled is impossible to justify - so fix it. No restaurant on site is a miss.

The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed our overnight stay here. It was restful after a rainy, foggy, windy road trip from South Dakota. We would stay here again if traveling in the area.

I had my sons 3rd birthday party here, and it was amazing. This hotel has recently undergone a renovation and its absolutely gorgeous. Very modern. The pool was clean and just at the right temperature. They also had a breakfast area right by the pool where we did cake and presents. Chance at the front desk was great and the Manager Pam even stopped by to see if we needed anything! I would highly recommend this place for all you party needs!!!! The price was the best in town!!

1. Requested a room on first floor when I registered on line with Carlson and we arrived between 6:00pm - 7:00pm and was put in a second floor room - no elevator 2.Checked into our room and discovered that the toilet did not flush properly, even after requesting a plunger - no maintenance person was available 3. The A/C in the room was not functioning properly - could not adjust the temperature. 4. The hotel was being remodeled and the work was not complete 5. We were assigned another room, also... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for two days in late May 2016 as part of a 17 day trip. We were unaware that this hotel was under construction when we got the reservation. There was construction debris in back of the hotel, the doors were propped open, smokers were hanging around outside the door. With suitcases full of gear for a family event plus trip to Yellowstone, we were not happy to drag them up a flight of stairs. We have previously enjoyed Country Inns but this one isn't yet ready for prime... Read more

There are few places to charge data items, there was no hot water, the bath rooms had rust on the drains & mold on the ceilings. The cleanliness of the room itself left much to be desired. The back parking area is not mowed well, it is not well lit either & there were transients wandering around the area trying to get into various cars when it was raining.

This is one of my favorite chains to stay at, and this one lived up to others. We have stayed at other hotels in this city, but decided to try this one. This is our new favorite Sidney hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous, and the rooms were very roomy, which came in handy with 4 adults. It is a new hotel, so everything is clean and orderly. I would highly recommend this to people traveling on I-80.

This is the first time we stayed at a Country Inn & Suites. We payed for a non-smoking room. When we stepped in our room, I immediately smelled cigarette smoke. It was very late when we got in, and our kids were tired, so I did not ask for a different room. I do regret it, because in the morning after we had the air running all night, it still smelled of cigarettes. I travel a lot and would put the country inn at about the middle. It looks like the owner put a bit of effort to update the interior with newer furnishings and artwork. However, structure is still the old school roadside motel feel, thin walls, loud ac, road noise. I did like the large room, the bed was comfortable and the toiletries were a nice touch. Our car broke down outside of Sidney, so I looked the place up on a few last minute apps. I've heard the hotels don't make much from these services, tho, so I called in person to book. So glad I did! Julie and Kyle were great on the phone and at check in, and Jessie was awesome when it turned out we needed an extra night. AND we got a better rate than the booking site! Due to the hotel's proximity to Cabela's headquarters, it charges premium rates. However, the property does not warrant the premium rates. The room needs refurbishing. The furnishings are old, sparse and cheap. I also didn't like the feeling I was being chased out of the hotel the next morning by a virtual army of housekeepers in the hallway. Security door into the back of the hotel failed to lock despite a sign stating a key card was needed to enter.

This hotel was one of the worst I've stayed at in years especially for the price. It was easily a $50.00 a night room & I paid $140. The staff was rude, the room felt dirty (as well as the hotel in general), I didn't feel safe in my room as the door had trouble latching & locking as well as the fact that the door didn't fit in the door frame so someone could've easily been able to peek in the room through the large crack.
