This hotel is way over priced for the condition of the rooms. They jack up the price to $289/night during the Berkshire Hathaway week-end. The rooms are very outdated and need a lot of work. Paint is coming off the walls in places, the toilet didn't flush. The bathroom was disgusting. It needs to be gutted and completely redone. We have stayed here for several years, but will find another hotel next year. If you pay $289/night you should be able to expect a very nice room.

I'm giving this 1 stars because 1st they charged us TWICE! The room was dark and gloomy and smelt like cigarette smoke. The pack n' play we got for our daughter was nasty! (Smelt like mildew, was broken, vomit still on it as well as brown stains on the side from maybe being stored around old water.) The shampoo and lotion was used (half full)!!!!!!! The extra blanket we got had burn holes all over it. The toilet ran the entire time I could not sleep at all.... And I have two infant babies. The b... Read more

We started staying here a couple years ago. At that time I gave the regency a 5. This is a comfortable hotel but management really needs to do some updating to this place. Some of the rooms I stay in are very clean, some not so good. They went cheaper on some of the in room condiments, especially the coffee, terrible. The fitness room needs work and a good clean up. Broken machines, TV's not working etc and did I say, it needs a real cleaning. Most of the staff is very friendly. The van driv... Read more

The rooms and hallways are in need of an upgrade. There are stains and the carpet is worn down. The bedding was uncomfortable from many washes. That said, the main entryway was impressive and I could see it as a nice event space. The staff was not unhelpful nor overtly friendly.

The exterior and lobby of this property was very nice, however, the rooms were very dated. The carpet was worn and dirty and the walls needed painting. The towels were very thin and rough. While taking a shower, they turned the water off without warning. When I called the front desk they informed me that they had an issue that needed repair. I am understanding about that, but they could have given their guests some warning. The pillows on the beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. When I inquir... Read more

The grounds and lobby were impressive. After reading many poor reviews I was relieved it was better than described. The room was a bit musty but I've been in much worse. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and no noise from hallway at all. Piano bar was nice and restaurant was good. Nice breakfast buffet, too.

My son recently got married and had their reception at the Regency Lodge. The front lobby and reception venue were very nice. However, for the guests who stayed at the hotel the experience was anything but pleasant. The rooms, especially on the west side of the hotel, we dated and dark. In the room our parents stayed in the carpet was worn through in one spot and torn in another. In three of three rooms we used the exterior doors were worn out, they didn't close well and didn't open easily. ... Read more

Stayed here with family in July, 2016. The hotel has a rustic lodge atmosphere with a bear theme throughout. The property is in an ideal location just off I-680, has complimentary breakfast and parking. Unfortunately, most rooms look like they were last renovated in 1995. Stained carpeting, dirty bed linens and old furniture is the norm. The water pressure is just okay and the temperature can suddenly go hot or cold. The air conditioning is spotty throughout the hotel and in the rooms.

We came to Omaha for an 11-day event and were put up at the Regency Lodge. We checked out after two nights and moved to a different hotel, because we experienced significant issues and inconveniences at the Regency Lodge, including: 1) Virtually unusable Internet. Pages don't load, credit card transactions don't process, e-mail attachments don't open ... we tried with four different devices and it was always the same story. Given that we were supposed to be here for 10 nights, that represents a... Read more

We stayed here on a cross country trip. An unusual setting in south Omaha. The outside is brick with a lodge type entrance but inside is like a lodge you might find in a park. Comfortable seating and bar in lobby and restaurant on site. They have free shuttle service within a limited range that took us to Brother Sebastian's steak house. There is a free hot breakfast buffet in the morning (typical fare). The rooms were large, free working wifi, fridge and microwave and wetbar in ours. The ceilin... Read more

We booked two rooms last minute but still got a pretty good price. This Lodge has a full range of amenities. Pool, Sauna, fitness center. The Piano Bar was rocking when we checked in but you could not hear the fun from the rooms. Breakfast was a decent buffet not just cereal and toast. They also have meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 3000. I did enjoy the lodge atmosphere, including the large stuffed (toy) bear in the lobby.

When you walk in its very cool with all the bears everywhere. If you check in with a clc card make sure they don't charge your card for the room amount +25.oo. The rooms are nice and clean. If your on the 1st floor you get your own patio very cute. Soft beds. Fresh breakfast.

We stayed at the hotel for a reunion. I had thought we were staying at the Hyatt Regency and was more than a bit surprised when we turned into the Regency Lounge. My husband just smiled and said the reunion is here. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly. They were more than accommodating. Bear theme runs thru the hotel. Our function was in the library area and the room right behind it. It was great. The food was very good as well. We had a great time and I'd stay again. It was also ve... Read more

We will stay here every time we journey to Omaha. The room and service was excellent! Beds were super comfy! No complaints at all. The lounge is pleasant and the drink seleessedction is good. They had someone playing a piano, and they were actually pretty darn good. We were impressed with this hotel.

We stayed at the Regency Lodge for a convention and found it to be a really comfortable, friendly spot themed in a mountain lodge style. Rooms with microwave and refrigerators and most important of all comfy beds. Good hot breakfast included each morning too with nice extras like baskets of apples and daily newspapers in the reception area. The only negative little bits of maintenance lacking like 2 of the 3 lightbulbs not working on the ceiling fan in ours and another of our families rooms and ... Read more

We were in Omaha for a convention here at the Regency Lodge. I found the staff to be professional and helpful. The hotel was clean with plenty of parking considering the number of people attending. The room was clean and we found the beds to be comfortable. The morning breakfast was hot a filling. This is in an ideal location. The area appears to be nice, judging by the Trader Joe's and restaurants seconds away. It is easily accessible to the mall, and higher dollar eateries once you merge onto Dodge Rd. Also, there is a walking/biking trail adjacent to the lodge. I walked up and down Pacific St., and the aesthetic neighborhoods of the road made for a pleasant, unexpected bout of cardio. Lastly, even with traffic, it is easy to get to the interstate from this location. Also, I enjoy... Read more

We stayed for our Anniversary and it was the best experience!!! Booked a whirlpool suite with the Romance Package with Dinner. It was absolutely the best time and a great value for everything we got! It was such a nice room and the food for the 909 was very good. Corey our Bartender made our experience even better then we could of hoped. Good breakfast in the morning as well. Seriously did not want to leave already planning our next stay!

We recently attended a conference at this hotel. It is conveniently located downtown. The hotel was neat and clean, rooms were good size and nice amenities. Microwave, refrigerator, wet bar sink and coffee maker. Good space for our groups needs. Nice decor and atmosphere.

Everything about this hotel is adequate without being memorable or disappointing. The best things are the convenient location to the interstate without being close enough to feel industrial, and The Twisted Cork within walking distance offers an excellent menu in contrast to road trip food.

While the rooms were clean, everything in this place is outdated. From the bathroom crumbling door, the elevator and even the light switches. No USB connectors for charging phones and tablets. The towels were so threadbare that it took one than one to get dry. The free breakfast was terrible. Only white bread was offered. The coffee was weak and tasted terrible. No attempts were made to be environmentally responsible. All of the cups and plates were made of styrofoam.

The hotel is located in what seems a safe area but with little in the immediate surroundings such as restaurants or bars (you'll need to drive). Overall, the place looks like it was impressive 10-15 years ago but is visibly showing its age. The halls showed significant carpet stains, dirt/trash in the stairwells, etc. However, the staff was friendly and the check-in was easy and fast. The rooms themselves were normal with adequate space and had the traditional amenities - mini-fridge, microw... Read more

First, I stayed here because of a client requirement. As all hotels do as they get older, they decide to use more odorous cleaning products rather than any sort of overhaul! Hold your breath in the halls. The bed was okay but the pillows not so much. I will give them 2 thumbs up for wi-fi but less enthusiastic about tv channel choices. Thank you Amazon.com The title refers to the bear paintings in my room, in the hall, in the lobby, pretty much everywhere. Personally, a bird or 2 would have be... Read more
