Great hotel! Love the Starbucks and love the very nicely heated pool! NIce hot showers and comfy beds! The staff were very accommodating! Great location, easy to access the downtown shopping. Parking was a bit extra.

The staff here was very friendly, that is the strong point of this property! Staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were average to below average for price. They also didn't mention when I booked the parking garage fees. For price this place I would not visit again. People working though, good job

I was not satisfied with my stay here. The internet was terrible and the staff was not helpful when I needed help connecting to their internet. The air conditioning at night did not get cold at all and the bed were less than comfortable. The hotel looked old and not kept up well.

Not the high quality stay you would expect. We stayed here because of promise of shuttle service. We were left waiting an hour at a wedding reception. Making us late to another party. Needs up dating. Breakfast was great and my waitress was the only person who was friendly to me the entire stay.

Couple of hairs were in the bathroom that could have been cleaned normally. But overall stay was great. Location is awesome and would definitely stay again. Did not try breakfast or pool so I can not comment.

We arrived at this hotel at midnight. We hadn‚??t eaten dinner. We were so thrilled and surprised that there was a lounge open that served a good meal! Very helpful staff. We needed a place to put baby food and milk and they brought us a mini fridge. There is a little 'storeroom' to buy goodies. The location is terrific, rooms were quite quiet. I've given a few one-star reviews, generally for a multiplicity of faults. But in this case the hotel's pitiful excuse for a parking garage sank them all by itself. For starters the first three floors of the garage are off-limits to hotel guests. Though it's only an inconvenience I'll admit and could be tolerated, it says just how much they value their guests. The staff are very professional and accommodating. But, the hotel is in bad shape. Moldy bathrooms, peeling wallpaper, plumbing issues, holes in the threadbare bedsheets, tv was clunky and available outlets required the table lamps be on to use them. They keep the main lobby looking nice (tho don't look at the carpet too closely) and have a decent restaurant and "Starbucks", which is also nice. Shuttle service is great.

Hotel staff was nice however the room (carpet and headboard) was extremely dirty. All bedding (sheets and pillows) was extremely dirty. Daily maid service was inconsistent - no towels one day, and no replacement on coffee one day.

I've been here several times. It hasn't changed much and could use a couple updates. The location is excellent and some of the views of the city are great. The wifi was poor and unpredictable and a few things that could have been helpful were excessively cheap. I might still go back if the price was right.

Diamond member, 25-30 trips a year. Rented the presidential suite in order to have an executive table for evening meetings. First, I am sure the General Manager will answer this with a coined response as he has for all the other reviews. Wish I would have read those before booking and not while I couldn't sleep at this horrible hotel. They have no heat or Air Conditioning. They have an old radiator "two pipe System". They will give you fans or space heaters but you cannot make your room hotter or colder. It was 100 in Omaha and 80 in my room. I paid 200 and lied in a puddle of sweat all night. We are loyal Hilton users, but this was the worst experience we have had. The AC in our room was not functioning properly, in fact the AC throughout the hotel was faulty. We had a wedding party in a reception hall and the AC failed. It was a miserable time for the entire party as it was hot and humid.

We stayed here for the first weekend of the CWS so room rates were high. We booked a king suite and half of the room was hot and half was cool. We ended up having to move to a smaller room because no other suites were available. Was only offered a small discount. My husband had to work to get a fair discount. The saving grace was Vince. From the rude staff, inconvenient parking facilities, over crowded and over priced rooms, to the deteriorating infrastructure - - you can find a lot better places to stay. The sink literally crashed to the floor in the bathroom when we tried to use it . . . and we got moved to another, smaller, room without so much as an apology! If you are committed to Hilton there are at least 3 Hilton hotels within walking distance of this one - do yourself a favor and look at them first!!

This hotel is not worth staying at! Find another place. We checked in, got to our very small room and the sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. Asked to switch rooms. Excellent experience at the Double Tree by Hilton. The staff always greeted us with a smile and were eager to assist in any way possible. The hotel was centrally located which made getting around easy. We were there for the College World Seties and the TD Ameritrade Stadium was within walking distance, although the hotel staff offered to take us to wherever we wanted to go, the stadium, the Old Market Place, etc. Not having to rent a car was a bonus.

This property appears to be older but is still in decent condition. The rooms do show signs of more recent updates including in the in-room bathrooms. The main restaurant is not open late but the bar serves food well into the evening. We were lucky to find a room so close to the swim trials. I used my Hilton honor points and it saved me a tremendous amount of money. The hotel was busy because of the swim trials but the staff was handling the crowds very well. The shuttle was frequent from the swim trials which made it quite nice. The only complaint is the terribly slow WIFI. I could hardly check email over the connection. As usually for Hilton brand hotels, the beds are always comfortable.

Air conditioning didn't work in our room and we had to use a fan. Was usually 80 degrees in our room. Paid a hefty nightly rate for poor air conditining. Rooms were very dated. I wouldn't stay here again.

Looking through the reviews, it is unfortunate to see themes ongoing for so long without resolution. We weren't the lucky ones that didn't run into issues unfortunately. My dad and I recently stayed for one night during the Olympic swimming trials which we were very excited to see. Found this hotel kind of as a surprise because online it said all the hotels were sold out but when calling we were able to get a room. We found the centrally-located hotel fairly easily but the convoluted route with luggage from the carpark into the lobby using different lifts was interesting. One of the 'automatic' doors was not automatic. The lobby was well decorated and the staff very helpful. Every employee we encountered was accommodating and friendly from check in to check out. The cookies and apples were a nice little treat at the front desk. Free shuttle was available for dropping us off and for returning us to the hotel when we needed it. The Doubletree is in the Old Market area. We went for an evening walk and felt very safe. We will be happy to stay here again.

This hotel was nicely laid out and had a comfortable bed. If you are looking for a high price over night this is the place. If you're looking at having a lot of family with you, like having rooms blocked, make sure you request that your family is at least on the same floor and in the same area, we were not so lucky. Don't forget to put the do not disturb sign on your door or you may be woken up by housekeeping.

I booked the room for someone in town for a job interview. The hotel listed itself as non-smoking; however, when my party checked in, the room smelled of smoke. Very unpleasant! Also, it was only a one night stay, but two nights parking was charged. The hotel was nice, breakfast was fine. There were some issues, though.

The staff was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. The swimming pool was bigger than most hotels. Wish there was a hot tub. The bathroom was on the small side, and I was disappointed there was no refrigerator or microwave even though the room had plenty of space for those. The bed was very comfortable. On Sunday, the coffee bar that serves Starbucks coffee was not open, so that was a disappointment. Overall, we had a very good experience at this hotel.

Only stayed one night but the staff was helpful at check-in. We wanted to go to the old market for dinner, and found out they offer free shuttle there (and back, if you call them). Worked prefect! Room was nice sized, quiet, and was clean and comfortable. Easy to work there, with free wifi. They had a nice parking garage, that was connected via underground tunnel. i'd stay here again!

This is a beautiful hotel and the room is spacious with an upgrade. Also note, this is not in Old Market. It's a 1/2 mile walk which isn't bad but tough on little kids in the heat. A shuttle will take you there but they don't tell you that at checkin. The parking ramp is a little tricky getting out. It's $10/day and it is part of your room fee. That wasn't explained to us. The hotel has had minor upgrades over the past few years, mostly to the public areas. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They coordinated for a hotel van to take me to Walgreens for resupply. It is a 30 minute walk uphill otherwise. The bar staff is great. Stacy and Lindsay are fun and fast with the drinks and food. We took a family weekend trip to Omaha and picked this hotel because of the location. The hotel is old and many of the features are worn out. This is a hotel that has seen better days. You walk through the door, and the truth of that statement becomes very evident. Of the four elevators, only two we're operational during the entire length of my stay (5 days). The closet doors were off the tracks and would not budge. The Doubletree staff is phenomenal, especially those on the event crew. The front desk employees were extremely pleasant but understaffed. The rooms were very nice and comfortable BUT the elevator situation was TERRIBLE. We were there for 48 hours (Friday through Sunday) and the hotel was full of wedding & vacationing guests. Once we finally got to our room we had to walk around a mini fridge and microwave that were sitting in the hallway and stayed in the hallway around our room the entire stay. I was there for a conference and the staff was fantastic. The rooms are in need of an update, especially to meet the needs of the business traveler, but the hotel staff more than made up for it. If you are planning to stay at this hotel use the hotel app to check in ahead of time or your room probably will not be there when you arrive late at night. Staff is very disorganized and does not know what is going on or how to help you. Only two elevators working out of six for an 16 plus floor hotel.

This hotel is located right downtown in easy walking distance to all things downtown. The hotel is very pet friendly. Tip floor one is the bottom floor and has an exit to Capital St Come out the door and go right to come to the awesome Pioneer park. Definitely fits my expectation for a DoubleTree property. First time for me at a DoubleTree, so the cookie was a surprise (recommend not letting it sit overnight as it will get hard, like any cookie... but just ask for another!). Location was great, plenty of bars and restaurants to visit nearby. Breakfast was way overpriced as a buffet, but good selection. Conference area was very nice. I would stay here again if going to downtown Omaha.

The location is good and its within walking distant to downtown points of interest. The room was fine but I've paid the same price in other hotels and got a better room. No small fridge available so made storage of infants milk a little challenging. A wide selection of TV channels. Free shuttle available within 4 mile range. You have to pay for parking, 10$/a day.

Didn't have much time but enjoyed our one brief nights stay. Room was seriously spacious and had a great view! Parking was easy and staff was super nice. Close to shops and airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel! And don't forget those great cookies (desk clerk hooked me up)!

This was my first time in Omaha, and being from Chicago, we see a LOT of hotels. This one was clean, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating to everything! I am a diamond member of the Hilton properties therefore I stay at a lot of properties and this has been one of the worst. We were upgraded to a larger room after asking at check in. The front desk person appeared annoyed that we asked for the upgrade. I stay at this hotel because of its location, but wouldn't stay here if it wasn't also clean. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and I personally like the glass elevators. The warm cookie on check-in is nice, too.

I stayed at this Doubletree Hotel Omaha Downtown at 1616 Dodge St. Omaha, NE 68102. It is close to the Old Market but not as close as a Hyatt Place, the Hilton Garden or a couple of Marriot Courtyards. The difference is that a couple of other hotels in the area offer cheaper parking and more convenient location. We arrived mid afternoon and were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. The 3 others in my party (2 rooms) made short work of the warm cookies. Check in went quite smoothly and we went up to our rooms on the 17th floor. Elevators came quickly, all 4 of them operating. As we were here for a navy reunion, we settled in for 5 nights. This is a great convenient location downtown whether you're driving or walking to attractions. It's easy on and off of I-480, but also most attractions are only 10 minutes or so if walking. Our breakfast and lunch were catered, and everything was fresh, with a wide selection. Beds are not the upgraded soft, cushy types found at some lesser priced chains, but the pillows were super! I slept well anyhow. Traffic is minimal even during rush hour,so the freeway wasn't noisy.

Enjoyed this hotel. Nice accommodations. Restaurant could use a wider selection and provide breakfast reasonably. Construction makes the entrance and shuttle interesting! Would stay again if in the area.

the people in the lounge were very rude and unfriendly. The staff at breakfast was pretty much non-existent. We were not told in advance would have to pay aprking on top of all of the other fees. Would not recommend

Quiet, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast and lunch menu were good and good service. The bar menu was so-so. My impression the hotel was running on reduced staff. No bell staff to assist you with your luggage. Front drive was not accessible and getting in and out of the hotel was through a rear exit that was not staffed.

Hotel smells and has very uncomfortable beds. Location is great, but overpriced for the poor quality of the rooms. Lobby is nice but breakfast bar is $20 for runny eggs, and dry biscuits. I would stay at one of the other Hilton brands if you have a choice.

Staff excellent food good shops around and for you that love thrift stores omg they have tons look for them google them you'll be amazed. Rooms nice and clean bar excellent good food. Starbucks great the girl there wonderful. I book it but you'll need a fan it gets hot in the room.!

Right downtown and great views! Enjoyed the spacious room and they allowed pets. Had to park in the bank parking and had to pay, but typical of a downtown hotel. The pool was nice. The complimentary breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel.

I was there for business and had a good experience. The location of the hotel was really great within walking distance of the old market. It was within walking distance of the Century Link center. People at the front desk were very helpful!

The staff was great, they even have an airport shuttle. Unfortunately, they couldn't get me a room on the HHonors floor and no upgrade as HHonors Diamond, always disappointing. The breakfast buffet, which was complimentary for elite members was surprisingly good. The hotel itself is somewhat older but well kept. The location is pretty good - it's an about 10-minute walk to the Old Market area where most restaurants and bars are located.

All the staff at Doubletree Hotel Omaha - Downtown/Old Market is phenomenal! Staci was wonderful to work with and our event ran so smoothly. The location is perfect and you will not regret scheduling an event here. Hotel is extremely clean and really helped to elevate our brand and services.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed in Hilton/Doubletree hotel Downtown Omaha. We could not control our air/heat. Air was set for hotel so if we got cold, we had to order a space heater. What type of place has space heaters???? If you were hot and the air was not cool enough, you could order a fan!!!!!

Our room was very cold at check in. We increased room thermostat to 76F with no effect. Called guest services and learned that the entire hotel is set for cooling and has not yet switched over to heat system for the fall/winter. Only option was for them to bring a space heater and extra blankets to my room. Very disappointing, especially for the price paid for the room.

We stayed at the double tree for 5 nights. They gave us warm cookies upon arival and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast is one of the best breakfast buffets Ive had at a hotel. Very easy to eat healthfully.

Good points: our room was clean; the breakfast buffet was good (note:extra charge!); the hotel is only 5--6 blocks from the terrific Joslyn Art Museum, so it's an easy walk there; a walk 4 or 5 blocks East and 10 or 12 South takes you to the Durham Museum (also terrific and worth the walk); there's interesting public art a few blocks away; there's a free airport shuttle that runs frequently and right on schedule; room amenities were good; good bedside reading lights. The venue was very nice. It was centrally located and attractive. The room would have been perfect had I been able to at least shut off the air conditioner. The room temperature was 60 degrees and even trying to adjust the temperature setting didn't work.

Full service van! Took us wherever we wanted to go downtown! Wonderful service! Especially Keante! Milk n cookies just what we needed after a long day of flying. ;) Went to Old Market place. I will definitely be back!!!

Paid for the name of the hotel not the hotel itself. for the charge of $700.00 for a couple days - the money value is super high... My room was 64 degrees or less - In October... Bathroom - things were broken Charged for parking daily - Housekeeping was hit or miss

Stayed for 7 days and had a wonderful experience. Nice room and absolutely terrific staff. Food was good and the atmosphere was very friendly. I would stay here or with another Double Tree again. I know the rest of our group was equally satisfied.

Front entrance being redone but don't expect anyone to guide you outside. You enter through back, no carts to be found for luggage. Water came pouring out of the ceiling in the night. Didn't comp my room. Watched me struggle out of hotel and offered no assistance with luggage.

This is the 3rd time of staying @ the Double Tree, and I'd rate it average. The place is clean and all, but just dated as far as décor. For some reason we were on the 11th. floor, which is the HHonors floor. One of 2 HHonors floors, I think. Anyway if you have to pay extra to stay on the honors floors don't. Stayed at the Double Tree Hotel for a Bear Care Conference. Great location with friendly helpful staff. Great selection of food for breakfast and evening meals. They also have a minibus which drops you off and collects you from anywhere within a four mile radius of the hotel which is really helpful. The room was lovely and clean and we even had towels made into little bears which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great location, rooms were outdated and not cleaned thoroughly, great customer service. Parking is not ideal since you have to pay $10 a day or find parking on the street. The internet was slow and not great.

I was charged for the room when the company I work for called and had it switched to a company card and i never got a receipt bell service was good so was shuttle back and forth to training however I was checked out of the room before even checking out

The staff is friendly. The rooms are a great size. The bed is comfortable with four pillows each bed. Great view of the tall buildings on the even-number side rooms. The bathroom is a little small; one shampoo & one conditioner. No lotion. Flat screen tv with all the HBO channels. The pool area looks nice. Breakfast is lovely. The restaurant staff is nice. Many eateries & The Old Market is a 5-min walk away & the front desk will provide a simple map for everything in the area. Enjoy.

Not the best - but excelente location Rooms were small -beds were great! Bathroom was very small. After a day walking I was looking forward to relax on jacuzzi - this hotel did not offer one. Pool Was clean but cold.

Very nice hotel with very professional staff. Quick to respond to your needs. Very clean and a good location downtown. Easy walk to a lot of places. Very customer oriented with their free shuttle service around the downtown area if you preferred to not walk.

The DoubleTree on 72nd lost its Hilton flag, this property should also well. ITs old, dated. My room smelled funny, but I couldn't change. Checkin was slow. Honestly, given the new hilton downtown, there is no reason to select this property.

Nothing but a tv for room entertainment. No movies to rent. No DVD. Sisters planning on a fun overnight watching scary movies. I suppose we could have looked at each other and been scared but we know each other too well.

Great location, excellent staff, just needs to have building overhaul. The carpets are old, both in the hallways and in the rooms. The Hvac needs to be fixed so that complete temp control is done from the room versus the building as a whole. I needed to get a portable space heater to warm up my room.

The hotel was clean & comfortable. Food & service was good. Check in & out was easy. It was close to downtown so u could walk to restaurant & shops. Water front wasn't far. Highway was at easy to get to off & on.

Nice hotel but they don't let you control your room temp. The room was nice but I guess in the off season they turn off the heat and air. I went in October so that's low key winter time for a California Person like myself and I was unable to turn the heat on.

The location is very convenient to many downtown activities with most being within walking distance. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bed was wonderful!!! Make sure you are a member of Hilton Honors program for some added perks and possibly cheaper rates. Front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. Liked the warm chocolate chip cookies each afternoon!

Find another place to stay - this one will disappoint you. No valet parking - you self park in adjacent parking structure and pay $10/day to do so. No bell captain - you get to hump your luggage on your own. Surly staff at the desk who look at you suspiciously, ignore you for several minutes, then are curt with you when they can finally find the time to serve you. If you're Hilton Honors, you'll be wasting your hard-won points if you use them to stay here.

This was definitely an average hotel experience. Rooms, lobby, dining room and bar area are dated and in need of updating. Amenities lacking and WiFi was slow and spotty. Staff were ho hum, not very lively nor engaging. Location was good, lots of restaurants in the area and was very close to the airport.

I stayed in a hotel in Havana, Cuba in March that, even after an almost 60 year economic embargo by the US, was a 5 star hotel compared to this place. It was cold, noisy, no water pressure, lousy WiFi, and generally run down. Omaha has a long way to go to provide "big city" accommodations.

Front desk service is great. Nice, expansive lobby with a great hotel bar. That's about where the positives end. The interior corridors; from carpet, to walls, to drab wooden doors, to the popcorn ceilings, are all terribly dated for a hotel bearing the Doubletree branding. Stayed here 3 nights for a business trip. Parking is very limited for any vehicle larger than a car. I have a standard pickup but it was too tall for the parking garage (garage max height was 6' 5"). No temporary parking was available so I had to park at a meter over 2 blocks away just to check in. While checking in, the staff directed me to the oversized parking garage but it was super sketchy. I was in town for a wedding and spent a lot of time at hotel while my husband was busy doing wedding stuff. I was staying here 3 nights with a group of coworkers. We had a great stay. I want to comend the Front Desk, Cafeteria and the Shuttle service! Thank You!!! The only thing I am not in full agreement is the fact that they allow pets other than service dogs.

This hotel is exceptionally well located to the airport traveler. This hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are quiet, no noise from rooms around mine. There is a Starbucks at the hotel lobby, and a full bar with food in the lobby.

We recently spent 3 days in Omaha at the Doubletree by Hilton. The downtown location was convenient to many of the sights that we wanted to visit. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel staff went out of their way to cater to our every need. If you are traveling to Omaha on pleasure or business, this is the hotel for you. Breakfast is superior...not your usual hotel fare, their breakfast is a full meal.

This is a nice hotel right in the middle of Omaha. You have all the best of downtown right out your door. It is easy to drive to and has great parking. The bar-restaurant is fantastic, the staff was just great. It is a great building and this makes you feel well off.

The Doubletree hotel is conveniently located in downtown Omaha and just a couple of minutes drive from the airport (perfect if you have to catch an early flight). The staff was super friendly and I love that you get a warm cookie when you check in. Rooms are clean and okay.
